'The Chosen' Expands to Reach the World with Animated Series as Season 5 Hits 50 Languages
|
|
"The Chosen," the hit television show about the life of Jesus and his disciples, is expanding its programming to new audiences. Now, the multi-season TV phenomenon is releasing an animated version of the series for children as the increasingly popular live-action version is also being translated into more than 50 languages. "The Chosen Adventures" is a new animated series created by the same team.
It "follows nine-year-old Abby and her best friend Joshua as they navigate life in the ancient city of Capernaum," the series synopsis explains. "When the children encounter a wise craftsman and teacher, Jesus of Nazareth, he changes the way they see the world." Dallas Jenkins, creator, writer, and director of "The Chosen," says he has envisioned this project since season one.
"When we were first devising Season 1, I remember specifically saying, 'I'd love to do an episode where we are really spending time with Jesus and we are seeing him through the eyes of children,'" he said in a YouTube announcement last year. An episode entitled "Jesus Loves the Little Children" premiered during Season 1, but Jenkins and his team wanted to take it a step further. "We did have this thought of, 'Boy, it would be interesting to kind of dive deeper,'" Jenkins continued. "Like what happens to those kids after they've met Jesus." Government Shutdown Begins: 4 Takeways
|

Party leaders showed little inclination to compromise, while some rank-and-file senators discussed a possible solution.
The federal government remains shut down after the Senate on Oct. 1 again rejected a pair of competing plans that would temporarily extend funding.
The shutdown began on Oct. 1 at 12:01 a.m. as Republicans and Democrats deadlocked over the terms of a stopgap spending agreement.
As federal employees who perform essential functions completed their first day of work without pay and others were idled, party leaders appeared unwilling to compromise.
Vice President JD Vance made a rare appearance in the White House briefing room, where he laid blame for the shutdown on Democrats, whom he said had gone “far to the left.” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) took to the Senate floor to blame the shutdown on Republicans, whom he said “can’t be bothered to protect health care.”

The only way that Russia could possibly be defeated in Ukraine would be if western forces get directly involved in the conflict. Sadly, it appears that events are rapidly taking us in that direction. When long-range missiles that are provided by western countries and that are guided to their targets by western countries start slamming into Moscow, it is likely that the Russians will respond with overwhelming force.
That will give western countries all the justification that they need to officially enter the war, and then we will be just one step away from a nuclear apocalypse.

"Are you saying it is the President's position that Ukraine can conduct long-range strike into Russia? That that has been authorized by the President?" the Fox News host asked Kellogg.
"I think reading what he has said and reading what Vice President Vance has said as well as Secretary Rubio, the answer is, yes," Kellogg said in response.

Trump Gives Hamas "Three or Four days" Amid Contradictory Reports Over Terrorists' Response to Gaza Peace Plan

Hamas & Qatar see Trump proposal as start for more negotiations, not final offer
U.S. President Donald Trump said he would grant Hamas several days to respond to his proposal of a peace plan for the Gaza Strip, after Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly accepted the plan.
“We’re just waiting for Hamas,” Trump told reporters on Tuesday, adding he would give the terror group about “three or four days” to respond.
“Hamas is either going to be doing it or not, and if it’s not, it’s going to be a very sad end,” he said, stressing there is “not much” room for negotiation anymore.
The plan demands an immediate ceasefire, followed by a partial IDF withdrawal and the release of all hostages. Eventually, Hamas is to be disarmed, and the governance of the Gaza Strip is to be taken over by an international committee.
“We have one signature that we need, and that signature will pay in hell if they don’t sign. I hope they sign for their own good and create something really great,” Trump later said at an event in Virginia.
Meanwhile, there has been a flurry of often contradictory statements and reports on the intentions of Hamas. Initially, the terror group said it hadn’t yet received a written version of the proposal, despite the White House publishing it in full. Read more

Trump’s 21 Point Peace Plan:
Building a Mouse Trap for Hamas
|

President Trump’s plan to end the Gaza conflict is more than a political document—it is a brilliant strategic maneuver that traps Hamas with no escape.
The Arab world is already on board. Qatar, Turkey, Egypt—nations that once served as pillars of support for Hamas—have now endorsed the plan. The message is clear: if Hamas rejects it, it will be defying not only Trump but also its former allies. Isolation, illegitimacy, and exposure will be its only outcome.
That is the genius of the trap. Trump has not merely drafted a plan; he has forged a broad and unprecedented coalition in which every move Hamas makes results in loss. A “yes” would strip Hamas of its weapons, its power, and its murderous ideology. A “no” would leave it abandoned, ostracized even by the Arab world, and stripped of regional backing.
For Israel, this presents a rare opportunity. Hostages would be released within 72 hours. Israel would retain security control over northern Gaza and the Philadelphi Corridor, with only a gradual withdrawal to follow. Even the ambiguous clauses cannot hide the fact: this plan unmistakably advances Israeli interests.
Yet the greater achievement lies in the wider context. With Jared Kushner’s help, Trump embedded into the plan a vague reference to a future Palestinian entity—exactly what Saudi Arabia demanded. This is the key to expanding the Abraham Accords. The proposal is not just about Gaza; it is about reshaping the Middle East.
Now all eyes turn to Hamas. A rejection will grant Israel international legitimacy and full backing to continue its campaign. An acceptance will dismantle Hamas from within.
Either way, the trap is set.

Commentary from Bridge Connector: At first, I had my doubts about this plan. But after I read Tzvi’s analysis above, I realized that this is a KEEN and INSIGHTFUL analysis and I think he is right on point! Let’s not forget that Trump wrote the book, “The Art of the Deal” and he is a master at it.
Trump has built a coalition of support from Arab nations in the Middle East (including Quatar) who are “on board” with this plan. Even France and the UK are on board! If Hamas agrees to the plan, they are DEFEATED and FINISHED! If they DONT agree to the plan they will be international pariahs and totally isolated from the rest of the Arab and Western world.
And Trump has said if Hamas rejects the plan, he has given a total green light to Israel to “go in and finish the job like you know how.”
The plan puts all the pressure and focus on Hamas (where it should be): Will they accept or reject the plan?
Trump has made a brilliant political chess move. Instead of Israel being internationally isolated, now Hamas is internationally isolated!
Hamas is now caught between two horns of a dilemma and it is a NO WIN situation for them no matter what they decide!

1. Katz: IDF has nearly encircled Gaza City, residents have ‘last opportunity’ to leave - Times of Israel
Defense Minister Israel Katz said Wednesday that the IDF is close to encircling Gaza City and that residents have a “last opportunity” to flee but will need to go through Israeli checkpoints, as Hamas was set to respond to a US ceasefire proposal that Israel agreed to.
Katz’s ultimatum came as medical sources in Hamas-run Gaza reported at least 35 people killed by Israeli fire across the enclave. Israel, which is seeking to conquer Gaza City, on Wednesday announced the closure of a road leading to the city, while the Red Cross said the fighting forced it to temporarily suspend operations there.
Meanwhile, terrorists in the northern Gaza Strip fired two rockets at southern Israel on Wednesday afternoon, which were intercepted by the IDF. The attack triggered sirens in Gaza border communities. (Read more)

2. ‘Not far-off threats,’ Israeli envoy says of Hamas capacity in Judea, Samaria - JNS
The same threats that were allowed to fester for years in Gaza are bubbling up in Judea and Samaria, Danny Danon, the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, told the U.N. Security Council on Monday.
Danon added that it is time to move beyond the “speeches, theater and spectacle” of last week’s General Assembly and “face reality.”
The Israeli envoy compared the assembly of rockets in small workshops in Judea and Samaria to methods that Hamas has used in Gaza. One workshop was found in Tulkarem, some 15 miles from Netanya on Israel’s coast—about the distance between central London and Heathrow Airport.
“These are not far-off threats,” Danon told the council. “They are weapons built within minutes of Israeli towns and cities. Hidden workshops of death, right on our doorstep.” (Read more)

3. Terrorists in Gaza fire five rockets at Israel on Yom Kippur - JNS
Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip fired five rockets at southern Israel on Wednesday night, as Jews marked Yom Kippur, their holiest day.
Four of the projectiles were intercepted, while the fifth struck an open area, the Israel Defense Forces said.
The barrage triggered air-raid sirens in the Lakhish region in south-central Israel, including in Ashdod. There were no reports of injuries or damage.
Hours earlier, the IDF reported that the Air Force had likely intercepted two additional projectiles fired into Israel from northern Gaza. Air-raid alerts were heard in several kibbutzim near the northeastern Strip—Kfar Aza, Sa’ad, Mefalsim and at the Nir Am Shooting Range. (Read more)

4. Serious cyber attack against Israeli hospital on Yom Kippur - Israel National News
Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh) was hit by a cyber attack on Yom Kippur that was apparently carried out by an Iranian group. The Ministry of Health clarified that the hospital's ongoing operations continued as usual.
The hackers apparently exploited a vulnerability in a personal laptop belonging to a support employee at a cybersecurity company.
Officials from the Ministry of Health and the National Cyber Directorate stated, “On Yom Kippur, a serious attempted cyberattack on Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh) was detected and blocked. The attack was neutralized in its early stages, but the possibility of information leakage by the attackers is under investigation.” (Read more)

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday night slammed the “barbaric” attack on a synagogue in Manchester, England, and intimated that his counterpart Keir Starmer’s “weakness” breeds terrorism.
“Israel grieves with the Jewish community in the U.K. after the barbaric terror attack in Manchester. Our hearts are with the families of the murdered, and we pray for the swift recovery of the wounded,” said Netanyahu.

2. Vance Predicts Shutdown Won’t Last Long as Democrats Begin to Split – The Epoch Times
The vice president said he’s focused on securing five additional Democratic votes.
Vice President JD Vance said on Oct. 1 that he expects the government shutdown to be short-lived. He said moderate Democrats appear to be breaking ranks and recognizing the drawbacks of prolonging the standoff.
“I actually don’t think it’s going to be that long of a shutdown,” Vance said during a press briefing at the White House.
“I think you already saw some evidence that moderate Democrats are cracking a little bit. They understand the fundamental illogic of this,” he added.
The last shutdown, which began in December 2018 during Trump’s first term, lasted 35 days, becoming the longest in U.S. history. Vance said that while some Democrats are trying to work in good faith, the others have many demands and refuse to compromise. Read more

3. Mass Shutdown Firings To Begin 'In A Day Or Two': Trump Admin – Zerohedge
The thing that the Trump administration said would happen if Democrats insisted on adding $1.5 trillion in spending - is happening.
On Wednesday, OMB chief Russ Vought told House Republicans on a private call that the administration will begin mass layoffs of federal workers "in a day or two," according to Politico, citing four anonymous individuals.
Vought warned that money is about to run out for both the nutrition program for low-income moms and babies, known as WIC, and for pay for active-duty members of the military.

Vought also said billions in infrastructure money for New York, the home state of both Democratic leaders, is being “reviewed.” -Politico

4. ‘One by One, We’re Going to Dismantle Them’: Stephen Miller Outlines Trump’s Plan to Stop Left Wing Violence - Discern Report
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said Tuesday on Fox News’ “Hannity” that the administration will “dismantle” radical left-wing terror groups “one by one” in the United States through President Donald Trump’s National Security Presidential Memorandum (NSPM) executive order.
Tensions between Republicans and Democrats reached a high point after the assassination of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk, as some Democrats openly cheered his death online. Real America's Voice correspondent Ben Bergquam visited the ICE facility in South Portland, exposing how the left-wing political machine operates, from Antifa attacks on the building at night to dark-money–funded NGOs providing support to illegal aliens by day. Together, this paints the picture of how the left's machine works to subvert the nation, and in extension, national security.
Let's begin with Bergquam's late-night reporting outside the ICE facility in Portland that shows the federal government personnel countering Antifa warriors who attempted to undermine the Trump administration's deportation program of criminal illegals.
By early morning, Antifa cells scatter like ants, only to be replaced by workers from leftist NGOs, according to Bergquam, who spoke with Steve Bannon. He noted that these NGO workers are "aiding and abetting illegal aliens" outside the courthouse in Portland.
Bergquam added, "These leftist NGOs are also part of the networks of telling these illegals when ICE is coming to their communities - it's all a coordinated effort." Read more

6. Trump: ‘No choice’ but to send National Guard to Portland – The Hill
President Trump on Wednesday defended his decision to send National Guard troops to Portland, Ore., saying he had “no choice” but to deploy troops over the protests of local officials.
“The Governor of Oregon must be living in a ‘Dream World,’” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post. “Portland is a NEVER-ENDING DISASTER. Many people have been badly hurt, and even killed. It is run like a Third World Country.”
“We’re only going in because, as American Patriots, WE HAVE NO CHOICE. LAW AND ORDER MUST PREVAIL IN OUR CITIES, AND EVERYWHERE ELSE!” he continued.
The Defense Department authorized 200 members of Oregon’s National Guard to be deployed to Portland, days after Trump said he would send troops to protect the city and an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility. Read more

Leftist Judges' Lawfare Hitting The SCOTUS Wall

When lower-court judges start giving anonymous interviews about the Supreme Court “undermining” them, you know the lawfare machine is fighting back. SCOTUS has repeatedly stayed or reversed trial-bench roadblocks aimed at kneecapping the Executive Branch. In Los Angeles, a district judge barred immigration officers from making reasonable-suspicion stops if they considered factors like language, location, or type of work. The three socialists on the Court usually dissent, but the practical result is simple: federal law enforcement can do its job while the case proceeds.
Same story on the separation-of-powers front. Lower courts tried to force President Trump to keep members of independent agencies whom he’d removed. First it was National Labor Relations Board and Merit Systems Protection Board members in Trump v. Wilcox; then came the Federal Trade Commission, where Chief Justice Roberts issued an administrative stay allowing the dismissal of Commissioner Rebecca Slaughter to remain in place. Amid Crackdown on Pastors and Conservatives in South Korea, Experts Say Communism Is Taking Hold

In recent months, a disturbing pattern of governmental persecution of Christian pastors and political opponents has emerged in the once thriving democracy of South Korea. Experts say the current leftist administration’s communist-sympathizing authoritarian behavior is the result of a “long march through the institutions” that must be confronted by the Trump administration and remedied by a slumbering church that needs reawakening.
Following the controversial declaration of martial law by former President Yoon Suk Yeol on December 3, 2024, South Korea was thrown into political turmoil. Yoon, the then-leader of the more conservative People Power Party (PPP), publicly justified the move by accusing the opposition party of sympathizing with North Korea and engaging in “anti-state” activities, while also investigating apparent instances of election fraud. In addition, the opposition Democratic Party, which has majority control of Parliament, had engaged in a series of political targeting campaigns against at least 29 conservative members, with many being accused of corruption. Hours after the martial law declaration, Yoon lifted it after the National Assembly unanimously voted it invalid.
... In June, Lee Jae Myung of the liberal Democratic Party was elected president. His administration swiftly undertook a campaign of persecution against Christian pastors and political opponents. Last month, Pastor Son Hyun-bo of Segero Church in Busan, one of the country’s largest congregations with over 4,000 weekly attendees, was arrested for allegedly violating election laws after he interviewed a political candidate — which the government claimed amounted to illegal campaigning. The government further justified Son’s arrest by claiming he had destroyed evidence and was a flight risk.
Concerns are also mounting over the Lee administration’s softening stance in relation to communism, particularly the brutal communist dictatorship of Kim Jong Un in North Korea. Lee recently ordered that 80% of the radio broadcasts being beamed into North Korea from South Korea be shut down, citing the desire to “ease inter-Korean tensions.” He also ordered that loudspeakers broadcasting anti-communist rhetoric on the border between the two countries be removed. Experts say that the majority of the broadcasts are from Christian stations and are likely the only means that North Korea’s estimated 400,000 Christians have of secretly hearing the gospel along with Christian teachings and thoughts. Internet access in North Korea is not available to ordinary citizens, and being caught with a Bible will likely lead to execution, usually after being tortured.
Conservative leaders in the U.S. are beginning to sound the alarm over the concerning developments happening in South Korea, one of America’s strongest and most vital military allies in Asia. “We are watching our ally in South Korea, which is headed up by basically a pro-communist government, literally and methodically destroying Christianity,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich told Fox News last week. “It is an astonishing assault.” (The Washington Stand) Read more here.

Hillary Clinton Doubles Down on Demonizing White,
Christian Men after Charlie Kirk Assassination

Failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is facing backlash
for blaming “damage” done to America by white Christian men in the midst
of surging political violence targeting conservatives and Christians. In an
MSNBC interview last week, Clinton opined, “The idea that you could turn
the clock back and try to recreate a world that never was, dominated by —
you know, let’s say it — white men of a certain persuasion, a certain
religion, a certain point of view, a certain ideology, it’s just doing such
damage to what we should be aiming for.” She added, “Some people are
actually scared about what’s going on in our country.”
Clinton’s comments come just weeks after a transgender-identified
shooter killed two Catholic schoolchildren in Minnesota, conservative
activist and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated at a
college campus event, and a sniper opened fire on a federal immigration
detention facility. Conservatives were quick to react. Senator Mike Lee (R-
Utah) quipped in an X post, “Doesn’t sound very egalitarian.” One X
user commented, “Hillary Clinton gets on tv and reminds us every time of
how lucky we are that she lost in 2016.” Another posted, “Two weeks after
Charlie Kirk was murdered, Hillary Clinton is on stage saying white
Christian men are doing massive damage to the world. Why is it acceptable
for elites to demonize an entire group by race and faith and still pretend it is
progress?”
Family Research Council President Tony Perkins responded to Clinton’s
comments in a Newsmax interview Tuesday. “A few years back, it was the
‘deplorables.’ Now she’s focusing in on white men. But it’s not just white
men, it’s all men. What stands in the way of the Left are men of conviction
with courage,” Perkins stated. He said that Christian men are “in the way of
the agenda of the Left.” Perkins explained, “In order for them to gain power,
they have to weaken manhood and masculinity, because that then
fractures the family, and it creates chaos in communities that gives them
leverage for power in bigger government.” He added, “That’s why they
cannot stand men of conviction with courage and masculinity. Men of
conviction and courage have been in their crosshairs.”
“We actually see the results of that in the wake of the assassination of
Charlie Kirk,” Perkins noted. “You see many millions of Americans paying
respect to him because there’s a longing for men of conviction who will
speak up. And of course, you see the Left responding with this type of
rhetoric of saying, ‘We need to get along,’ but at the same time, in the

UN, EU Reimpose Iran Sanctions over Secretive Nuclear Program

Both the United Nations and the European Union formally reimposed sanctions against
the Iranian regime last month, due to its secretive nuclear program and its failure to
comply with treaty obligations. Iran and its allies responded defiantly, but the sanctions
serve to isolate the rogue state from the rest of the world.
The U.N. Security Council approved the sanctions on Friday, September 19, just before
the U.N. General Assembly’s annual meeting began on Monday. The U.N.
sanctions took effect at midnight Greenwich time on Sunday, and the E.U. approved its
own sanctions on Monday, September 29.
The U.N. sanctions prohibit member nations from furnishing Iran with weapons or
anything that could aid their uranium enrichment or ballistic missile program. They also
freeze Iranian assets in overseas banks, impose a travel ban on Iranian officials, and
authorize governments to inspect cargo on Iran Air or Iran Shipping Lines.
Upon news of these severe sanctions, Iran’s currency immediately plunged to a new
low (1.1 million rials to $1), raising domestic food prices and placing further pressure
upon the country.
Iran did not allow the IAEA to resume inspections until Friday, after the vote to snap
U.N. sanctions back into place.
Meanwhile, Israel’s Foreign Ministry celebrated the sanctions on the regime that wants
to exterminate the world’s only Jewish-majority state in a nuclear holocaust. “The goal is
clear: prevent a nuclear-armed Iran,” it wrote. “The world must use every tool to achieve
this goal.”
As always, the Trump administration remains prepared to back up words with actions —
as Iran learned the hard way this summer. “The Security Council’s decision on
September 19 — reaffirmed on September 26 — to restore these restrictions sends a
clear message,” said the U.S. State Department. “The world will not acquiesce to

7 more homes collapse into the ocean on
North Carolina's Outer Banks

In rough surf from dual hurricanes off the Southeast coast, 7 more vacation homes fell into the ocean on North Carolina's Outer Banks.
During high waves from the double hurricanes off the Southeast coast Tuesday and Wednesday, Hurricane Imelda and Hurricane Humberto, seven vacation homes fell into the ocean near Buxton, North Carolina.
The Cape Hatteras National Seashore confirmed the news on their website, saying that five homes Tuesday collapsed between 2 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.
That means that 19 homes on Hatteras Island have fallen into the ocean since 2020, not including 2 that were threatened by the surf but were demolished. Prior to Tuesday, the last time a home crumbled into the ocean on the Outer Banks was just two weeks ago on Sept. 17.
The Outer Banks of North Carolina, a thin line of islands representing the easternmost part of the state, is hit by multiple nor'easters and hurricanes every year, leading to oceanfront homes collapsing into the sea and inundating Highway 12, which runs along the islands. (Accuweather) Read More
