60+ High School Basketball Players Give Their Life to Jesus During Youth Camp:
'A Work of God'

Faith leaders say they are witnessing evidence of spiritual revival across different age groups, denominations, and backgrounds.This transformation is not limited to churches or communities; it is also visible in the world of sports, especially among young athletes. Recently, more than 100 youth basketball players from across 10 states and eight countries heard the Gospel message during a skills development camp in Washington, North Carolina. As a result, 60 high school basketball players came to know Christ. "Kids from all over the country came for basketball, but they walked out of there with a relationship with Jesus... and many more seeds were planted," Joe Davis, founder of ScoutsFocus, told CBN News.
Davis partnered with Paul Biancardi, ESPN's National Recruiting Director, and former Division I player-turned-evangelist, Doug Elks, to not only help campers showcase their talents, but to plant an eternal seed. "The Lord put so many different things in place, in a short amount of time," said Davis. The former basketball player knows the pitfalls of the sport all too well. "The Lord did a work in me and changed my life when I was chasing the world, money, and cars, and women...all this stuff that the world can give you, and then the Lord did His work on me," he shared. The minister says the small basketball camp, which he started as a for-profit organization in 2009, shifted to an evangelistic-model in 2019. "The primary focus of the camp is to give a clear gospel message where kids can be saved and come to know the Lord Jesus as their personal Savior," Davis explained. (CBN) Read More Here

Donald Trump: Democrats Are Shutting Government Down; We Want It Open
|
|
President Donald Trump put the looming government shutdown squarely on Democrats Tuesday, emphasizing that Republicans, who passed legislation out of the House to fund the government at current levels earlier this month before Senate Democrats stymied it, want the government to remain open.
During an Oval Office press conference about reductions in Pfizer-produced drug prices, Breitbart News asked the president what the looming Democrat shutdown–which comes as the party’s RealClearPolitics average favorability rating pings at 33 percent–says about the party.
“They are shutting it down. We’re not shutting it down. We don’t want it to shut down because we have the greatest period of time ever. I tell you we have $17 trillion being invested, so the last person that wants it shut down is us,” Trump said.
However, Trump said that if Democrats allow government funding to expire at midnight Wednesday morning as expected, then there are actions the administration can take to implement “irreversible” action Democrats would oppose.
“With that being said, we can do things during the shutdown that are irreversible that are bad for them, and irreversible by them–like cutting vast numbers of people out, cutting things that they like, cutting programs that they like,” Trump said. “And you all know Russell Vought, he’s become very popular recently because he can trim the budget to a level that you couldn’t do any other way.” (Breitbart) Read more here.

QUANTICO, Va.—About 730 U.S. military generals, admirals, and senior enlisted troops attended a historic gathering at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia on Sept. 30 to hear President Donald Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth convey a shift in military culture under Trump’s leadership.
Throughout their remarks, Trump and Hegseth emphasized a desire to do away with the “woke” social and cultural trends of recent years, criticized the direction of the military under previous leaders, and invited those in attendance who disagreed to make their objections known and resign.

NATO Members Arm Themselves as Russia Expands Aggression
|
|
Member nations of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) have observed a dramatic increase in confirmed or suspected Russian aggression, suggesting an attempt to probe any weaknesses in the alliance. While the incidents have motivated NATO members to develop better defenses against drones, they have also shown a resilient alliance with a united front, which is still committed to backing Ukraine more than three years after Russia’s invasion in February 2022.
The latest suspected airspace violations came on two consecutive nights this weekend, when multitudes of unidentified drones swarmed Danish military bases and the Copenhagen airport, shutting down all air traffic. Authorities suspect the drones may have been launched from three Russian vessels traveling past Denmark at the time; the vessels have each been sanctioned and may belong to Russia’s “shadow fleet” that evades sanctions. Denmark responded by installing scanning radar at Copenhagen airport, banning all non-military drone flights, and welcoming a German air defense frigate to a berth at Copenhagen.
“Russia has used drones for surveillance of NATO countries, especially those supporting the war in Ukraine like Poland,” said Georgetown University professor Daniel Byman. “The drones are also a form of intimidation and a way of probing air defenses.”
James Rogers, co-founder of the British International Studies Association’s War Studies Working Group, concurred. “Russia is using drones to harass and test NATO,” he explained. “Each flight is about probing defenses, mapping our responses, and reminding us of our vulnerabilities. One month after the Lebanese government announced its decision to begin disarming Hezbollah, officials in both Israel and the United States are observing the first signs of Lebanese enforcement against the terror group.
Roughly ten days ago, the ceasefire implementation committee convened in Ras el-Nakoura.
A source familiar with the discussions told The Jerusalem Post that while Lebanon’s military is still in the early stages of the operation, “yes, they are taking steps to dismantle the organization’s weapons.
For now, the Lebanese army has avoided addressing Hezbollah’s most serious violations, choosing instead to focus on smaller breaches of the ceasefire. Still, observers consider even this limited activity to be a positive signal of progress. (Read more)

PIJ Secretary-General Ziyad al-Nakhalah rejected Trump’s 20-point proposal for Gaza, which the US president unveiled on Monday, accusing it of serving only Israel’s interests.
The terrorist leader described the plan as a “formula for perpetuating the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian nation.”

4. Judea and Samaria terror threat ‘real and imminent,’ Israeli UN ambassador warns - World Israel News
Israeli forces last week uncovered and dismantled a missile manufacturing facility in Judea and Samaria—less than 13 miles from Jerusalem—underscoring how Palestinian terror groups continue to operate within close striking distance of major cities.
Danny Danon, Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, disclosed the findings during a Monday address before the U.N. Security Council in which he warned members that the threat from Judea and Samaria is “real and imminent.”
Israeli troops in Ramallah discovered “dozens of parts” and at least “two already assembled” missiles “pointing toward an Israeli town,” Danon said in remarks obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

5. Gaza flotilla rebuffs calls to stop, as Israel readies for complex interception

The large flotilla attempting to break the maritime blockade on the Gaza Strip rejected Italy’s calls to stop late Tuesday, saying it was nearing a “critical zone” and expecting Israel to take action soon to stop its advance.
Meanwhile, Israeli authorities have been readying to intercept the many vessels and take the hundreds of activists to shore to be deported or detained, in a complex operation that could potentially come to a head during Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year in Judaism, which starts Wednesday evening.
The 47-boat Global Sumud Flotilla is set to reach the Strip this week. It is carrying over 500 activists, including Swedish campaigner Greta Thunberg, as well as parliamentarians and lawyers. (Read more)

1. NJ mayor breaks with Dems to back Ciattarelli for governor, demands end to sanctuary policies - Fox News
A New Jersey Democratic mayor is breaking with his party to support Republican Jack Ciattarelli in the heated race for governor. Dover Mayor James P. Dodd said he is backing Ciattarelli, who is endorsed by President Donald Trump, due to rising taxes, sanctuary city policies and what he called a lack of real solutions.
"I’ve had the opportunity twice now to have Jack Ciattarelli come to the town of Dover, explain his vision, his views on how to fix the state of New Jersey," Dodd said Tuesday on "Fox & Friends First." “He has real solutions to fix these problems in our state. And that's what we need right now."
Ciattarelli is facing Democratic Rep. Mikie Sherrill in an increasingly tight race. He lost to Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy in 2021. Murphy, who is term-limited, has since backed Sherrill in the 2025 race. (Read more)

2. Supreme Court to Weigh Limits on Biblical Counseling - Million Voices
In 2019, Colorado lawmakers passed House Bill 19-1129, a measure that banned licensed counselors from engaging in what the state defined as “conversion therapy” for minors. The law makes it illegal for therapists to offer any form of counseling that seeks to change a young person’s sexual orientation or gender identity. In practice, this means a licensed Christian counselor is forbidden from helping a child accept his or her biological sex, even if that is what the child or parents desire.
For many, this is a direct assault on the ability to counsel youth according to the Bible. Supporters of the law say they want to protect children from harm. But for Christians, what Colorado calls “harm” is often simply speaking biblical truth. The law essentially says that counselors may affirm a child who believes they can switch genders but may not encourage them to embrace their God-given identity as male or female. The government has decided which kind of counseling is acceptable and which kind must be silenced.

3. Supreme Court Weighs Free Speech, Faith in Mississippi - Million Voices
Gabriel Olivier is a Christian who enjoys sharing his faith with others. He often does this in public spaces by handing out literature, talking to people, and peacefully expressing his beliefs. In 2021, he wanted to share his message outside the Brandon Amphitheater in Brandon, Mississippi. But the city had a rule.
Officials told him that if he wanted to speak about religion or protest, he had to move to a designated “protest area.” The problem was that this protest area was far away from the amphitheater entrance, where very few people would hear or see him. When Olivier refused to move and continued sharing his message, he was cited by the city and required to pay a fine. Now, Olivier is asking the Supreme Court to review whether Brandon’s ordinance is constitutional. The justices agreed to hear it in 2025.
At the heart of the case is the First Amendment, which protects both free speech and the free exercise of religion. Olivier believes that the city’s protest zone rule silences him by forcing him into a place where he cannot reach the people he hopes to speak with. He argues that being hidden away in a remote area is effectively the same as being silenced. According to First Liberty Institute, which represents him, this policy unfairly restricts Olivier’s ability to share his faith with others in a public space. (Read more)

4. Pennsylvania House takes up gun control legislation, unlikely to pass in Senate - Just the News
The Pennsylvania House of Representatives had narrow final passages and rare failures on a package of gun control bills it considered Tuesday. Votes were almost entirely down party lines, a strong indicator that legislation that made it through will be challenged to succeed in the Republican-majority Senate.
House Bill 1593, with the most support, calls for background checks on all firearm sales.
“If you know history, dictators never started with just confiscating and disarming populations,” said Rep. Stephanie Borowicz, R-Lock Haven. “They were told to quote ‘just register their guns.' Then they were confiscated, which led to complete loss of freedom and life by the millions at the hands of tyrannical governments.”
The representative said the registry was an intentional attempt by Democrats to disarm the American people as part of a plan to build a tyrannical government. (Read more)

5. Pentagon says Iraq mission being scaled back - Reuters
The Pentagon recommitted itself in a statement on Tuesday to scaling back its military mission in Iraq, a process that a U.S. official said will see Baghdad command efforts to combat remnants of Islamic State inside its own country.
Under the plan, the U.S. and its coalition allies would instead focus on combating Islamic State remnants in Syria and shift most of their personnel to Iraq's Kurdistan region to carry out that mission, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
The U.S. had approximately 2,500 troops in Iraq at the start of 2025 and more than 900 in neighboring Syria as part of the coalition formed in 2014 to combat Islamic State as it rampaged through the two countries. Once the transitions are completed, the total number of U.S. forces in Iraq will number fewer than 2,000, and the majority of them will be in Erbil, the official said. A final number has yet to be determined, the official added, without offering a timeline. (Read more)

Billionaire Elon Musk has added his name to the mushrooming number of consumers cancelling their Netflix membership after the streaming giant’s children’s cartoon show creator Hamish Steele smeared slain conservative icon Charlie Kirk as a “Nazi.”
Steele, an animator credited with creating the Netflix cartoon series Dead End: Paranormal Park, took to BlueSky after Kirk was assassinated and defamed the conservative firebrand in a vile tirade.
Steele said on the social media platform on September 11. “You sympathy for any of the families being slaughtered by your weapons. but a random nazi gets shot and its a public statement.“ Netflix canceled Dead End: Paranormal Park in 2023 after two seasons.

7. Philadelphia plans to raise the Chinese flag in a bizarre celebration of communism - Fox News
Flying communist flag at birthplace of American independence betrays founding principles
On Sept. 30, Philadelphia’s Office of Immigrant Affairs plans to hoist the red flag emblazoned with the star of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in front of city hall to celebrate the anniversary of the establishment of the CCP.
You might think this is some sort of sick joke, but no. It’s not even the first; the City of Brotherly Appeasement has flown the CCP flag twice before (in 2017 and 2019). It was a disgrace then, and it’s a disgrace now. All city residents should reject the leadership of Philadelphia’s campaign to betray our founding principles to virtue signal tolerance and diversity — a demonstration of weakness that China is only too happy to exploit.
As we prepare to celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary next year, that quintessential spirit of 1776 appears to be in jeopardy. Communist China has emerged under President Xi Jinping as the polar opposite of everything Philadelphia has traditionally represented. The CCP is increasingly recognized as the single greatest national security threat to the United States in the 21st century. (Read more)

Stupidocrisy: Buying Over the Counter Autism

Autism diagnoses have skyrocketed in recent decades, with prevalence among American children now estimated at one in 31 compared to one in 110 just twenty years ago. Parents have long questioned whether the explosion of required childhood vaccines might be part of the cause. While mainstream studies deny a link, vaccines have not been completely ruled out. Also, multiple large-scale reviews now show an association between prenatal Tylenol use and higher risks of autism and ADHD in children. While these studies cannot prove direct cause, the consistency across data sets is troubling. Even the FDA is acknowledging the evidence, warning expectant mothers to weigh risks more carefully.
The pharmaceutical industry, however, pushes back hard. The parent company of Tylenol, Kenvue, told The Epoch Times: “We believe independent, sound science clearly shows that taking acetaminophen does not cause autism. We strongly disagree with any suggestion otherwise and are deeply concerned with the health risk this poses for expecting mothers.” Their position is consistent with how major drug companies respond when safety concerns arise. They emphasize “independent” science, yet much of that science is funded, designed, or overseen by the industry itself. That raises serious concerns about bias and whether the public can trust the conclusions. Expecting mothers are left caught between conflicting claims. Read More

"This application of AI has the potential to transform the Nation's current care and research approach for pediatric cancer - as well as our healthcare and research infrastructure more broadly - through use of the rich and multimodal data, secured with appropriate individual privacy protections, to develop early and superior diagnostics, identify cures and optimize treatments, and advance medicine that will save lives." Rescuers in desperate search after a powerful earthquake hit the Philippines, killing at least 69

BOGO, Philippines (AP) — Rescuers used backhoes and sniffer dogs to look for survivors in collapsed houses and other damaged buildings in the central Philippines on Wednesday, a day after an earthquake killed at least 69 people and injured more than 200 others.
The death toll was expected to rise from the 6.9 magnitude quake that hit at about 10 p.m. on Tuesday and trapped an unspecified number of residents in the hard-hit city of Bogo and outlying rural towns in Cebu province.
Sporadic rain and damaged bridges and roads have hampered the race to save lives, officials said.
A dangerous quake
On Wednesday night, rescuers in orange and yellow hard hats used spotlights, a backhoe and bare hands to sift through the rubble of concrete slabs, broken wood and twisted iron bars for hours in a collapsed building in Bogo city. No survivor was found.
“We’re still in the golden hour of our search and rescue,” Office of Civil Defense deputy administrator Bernardo Rafaelito Alejandro IV said in a morning news briefing in Manila, the country’s capital. “There are still many reports of people who were pinned or hit by debris.” (AP) Read More
