Kansas, Missouri firefighters climb 110 stories to honor 9/11 heroes
|
|
KANSAS CITY, Mo. —
Firefighters from across Missouri and Kansas honored fallen heroes Sunday during the annual Kansas City 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. They gathered at the Town Pavilion downtown, climbing 110 stories in full gear, the same number of floors as the World Trade Center towers. The climb paid tribute to the 343 New York City firefighters who died responding to the Twin Towers that day. Proceeds benefit SAFE, the Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment Fund, which supports families of first responders who die in the line of duty. (KMBC News) Watch Video

- Abba Father, we are grateful for the honoring of 343 fallen heroes by firefighters gathering in Kansas City for the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. We pray for continual healing for our nation as we remember the anniversary of that tragic day. We give You all glory for the unity that occurred within our nation and for churches that were filled to capacity as many turned to the Lord. May our nation always remain resilient because of our faith in God and be unified as miraculous stories of survival are recounted and the lost lives of our firefighters and citizens are forever remembered. We pray this in the powerful Name of Yahweh Tsuri, 'The Lord is my rock'! Amen.
- "The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies." (Psalm 18:2-3)

French Prime Minister Loses Confidence Vote, Triggering Collapse of Government
|
|
French Prime Minister François Bayrou lost a confidence vote on Sept. 8, deepening a political and economic impasse in the Eurozone’s second-largest economy after opposition leaders from across the political spectrum pledged to oust him.
The minority government’s collapse looks set to deepen France’s problems, leaving President Emmanuel Macron with the task of finding yet another politician to steer a controversial budget through parliament.
The government lost the confidence vote by 194 votes to 364, according to Le Monde.
Macron’s centrist party, Renaissance, heads a fragile minority coalition that relied on allies such as Bayrou’s Democratic Movement (MoDem) to govern.
“You have the power to bring down the government, but you do not have the power to erase reality,” Bayrou told lawmakers before the confidence vote. “Reality will remain relentless: Expenses will continue to rise, and the burden of debt, already unbearable, will grow heavier and more costly.” France’s “very survival is at stake,” Bayrou added.

- Father, we pray for France to turn from their many foolish ways and come to You as Savior and King. We pray for the people to know how to bring about change for righteousness and morality and to stand against all godlessness, in Jesus' name. May honorable leadership that You have called forth arise and be put in place, for Your glory.
- "Seek good and not evil, That you may live; So the Lord God of hosts will be with you, As you have spoken. Hate evil, love good; Establish justice in the gate. It may be that the Lord God of hosts Will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph." (Amos 5:14-15)

Trump Warns Venezuelan Aircraft Will Be Shot Down If They Put US in ‘Dangerous Position’
|
|
President Donald Trump warned that Venezuelan aircraft would be shot down after the Pentagon announced a U.S. warship encountered two Venezuelan fighter jets in international waters.
In a statement posted to X on Sept. 4, the Pentagon said two military aircraft flew close to a U.S. Navy vessel, declaring, “This highly provocative move was designed to interfere with our counter narco-terror operations.”
The Pentagon went on to warn that “the cartel running Venezuela is strongly advised not to pursue any further effort to obstruct, deter or interfere with counter-narcotics and counter-terror operations carried out by the US military.” No further details on the event were given.
The president chose not to get into specifics when he addressed the flyover during a press conference in the Oval Office on Sept. 5. However, he affirmed that if Venezuela did it again, U.S. military forces had his permission to shoot the planes down.
He turned to his chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Air Force Gen. Daniel “Razin” Caine, and said: “I would say, general, if they do that, you have a choice of doing anything you want, OK? If they fly in a dangerous position, I would say that you or your captains can make the decision as to what they want to do.”
If Venezuelan aircraft put U.S. forces in a dangerous position, Trump added, “they'll be shot down.” (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Mighty God, we pray that Venezuela is a nation that can find hope in You, as they wrestle with corruption and poverty everywhere around them. We pray that Maduro would stand down from his actions against the U.S. and that instead he would seek to bring a stability and standard of living to the nation instead. Let God arise over Venezuela, in Jesus' name.
- The Lord will answer and say to His people, 'Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil, And you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations.'" (Joel 2:18-19)

Donald Trump Makes Major Announcement About Prayer in School
|
|
President Donald Trump told attendees of the Religious Liberty Commission meeting on Monday that new guidance would be released regarding prayer in public schools.
"I'm pleased to announce this morning that the Department of Education (DOE) will soon issue new guidance protecting the right to prayer in our public schools," Trump said at the meeting at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C.
The exact timing of the new guidance announcement was not immediately clear.
The balance between individual religious expression and the constitutional prohibition on government‑sponsored prayer has long been litigated in U.S. courts.
Public‑school prayer policies were sharply curtailed by Supreme Court rulings beginning in the 1960s and remain a legal touchstone in disputes between advocates and critics of expanded prayer in schools.
Most recently, cases in Texas and Oklahoma have challenged long-standing precedent.
President Trump made the announcement during the Religious Liberty Commission meeting, saying: "For most of our country's history, the bible was found in every classroom in the nation, yet in many schools today, students are indoctrinated with anti-religious propaganda."
"Some have already been punished for their religious beliefs," Trump added, referencing a Texas student in attendance who he said had been punished by her school for organizing students to pray for an injured peer.
According to the White House website, the Commission was created to "advise the White House Faith Office and the Domestic Policy Council on religious liberty policies of the United States." Part of that directive includes creating a way to secure religious liberty both in the U.S. and abroad, the website added. (Newsweek) Read more here.

- Thank You Abba for strengthening President Trump's determination to protect religious liberty in this nation, most especially in our schools. May we see this nation truly arise in concerted prayer weekly for our land and our people. Bless these leaders who are standing up for our faith and may their words be multiplied and running across the cities and states like wildfire, for the glory of God. We thank You Father for being present with every one of Your children, giving creative solutions and courage to implement them, so that we will once again see a nation of bold believers in Jesus.
- "Then Jesus cried out and said, 'He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.'" (John 12:43-46)

1. IDF: ‘All residents of Gaza City must evacuate immediately’ - World Israel News
The Israeli army issued an evacuation order for the entirety of Gaza City on Tuesday morning, warning civilians that remaining in the area would pose an immediate threat to their lives.
“The IDF is determined to defeat Hamas and will operate in the Gaza City area with great force, just as it has throughout the Strip,” said Col. Avichay Adraee, the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesperson, in a post on the social media platform X.
Adraee emphasized that Gazans who choose not to evacuate are making an “extremely dangerous” decision.
Acknowledging Hamas’ practice of forcing civilians to act as human shields by preventing them from leaving areas targeted by the Israeli army, Adraee shared the phone number of an IDF hotline. (Read more)

3. Hamas Claims Responsibility for Monday’s Deadly Jerusalem Terror Attack
- Algemeiner
The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas‘s military wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, on Tuesday claimed responsibility for the shooting that killed six people in Jerusalem on Monday.
In a statement, the internationally designated terrorist group, which has ruled Gaza for nearly two decades and also maintained operations in the West Bank, said the two assailants who carried out the attack, Muhammad Taha and Muthanna Amro, were members.
The two Palestinian gunmen boarded a bus at Ramot Junction in northern Jerusalem and opened fire, killing six people before the attackers were shot dead by a soldier and an armed civilian. They were believed to have set out from two villages in the West Bank, according to Israeli officials. A third suspect was later arrested. (Read more)

4. Israeli researcher Elizabeth Tsurkov freed from captivity in Iraq - Israel Hayom
US President Donald Trump announced the release of Israeli researcher Elizabeth Tsurkov, who was abducted in Baghdad about two and a half years ago.
She has been transferred to the US Embassy in the Iraqi capital, with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani confirming her release. Tsurkov was held for 903 days.
"My whole family is overjoyed," her sister Emma wrote. "We can't wait to see Elizabeth and shower her with the love we've been holding back for 903 days. We are deeply grateful to President Trump and his special envoy Adam Boehler. If Adam had not made my sister's return his personal mission, I don't know where we would be today. We also want to thank Josh Harris and his team at the US Embassy in Baghdad for their support, and the staff of the nonprofit Global Reach, who worked tirelessly to bring my sister home safely."

5. Israel not committing genocide in Gaza, UK says for first time - JNS
Despite the United Kingdom’s harsh criticism of Israel’s handling of the war against Hamas in Gaza, the British government does not think that Jerusalem is committing genocide in the coastal enclave, The Times (U.K.) reported on Monday.
The position was revealed in a Sept. 1 letter that David Lammy, then the U.K. foreign secretary, penned to Sarah Champion, chair of the House of Commons’ international development committee.
Lammy wrote that the Foreign Office “has carefully considered the risk of genocide, including when permitting exports to the global F-35 program,” of which Israel is a member. He noted the “high civilian casualties” and “extensive destruction in Gaza,” which he said are “utterly appalling.”
The foreign secretary also quoted the Genocide Convention, which states that “the crime of genocide occurs only when there is specific ‘intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group.’” On that basis, the “government has not concluded that Israel is acting with that intent,” Lammy wrote. 1. Another Tremendous Supreme Court Victory for Trump! - PJ Media
The Supreme Court handed President Donald Trump a major victory on Monday, greenlighting his push for tougher immigration enforcement in Los Angeles. In a 6-3 ruling, the Court lifted a lower-court injunction that had barred federal agents from conducting raids without what the judge had called “reasonable suspicion.” With that order gone, Trump’s record-setting deportation efforts are back on track.
The liberal justices predictably fumed in their dissent, warning of supposed risks to “constitutional freedoms,” blah, blah blah. But the conservative majority was having none of that garbage. For now, immigration agents can resume their sweeping operations while the case winds through the courts—a clear sign that Trump’s agenda won’t be derailed by activist judges.
Conservative Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote in Monday's decision that the lower court's restraining order went too far in restricting how Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents could carry out stops or questioning of suspected unlawful migrants. (Read more)

- We give praise that the bad actors are being arrested and removed from our country. Holy King, we thank You for granting the Supreme Court wisdom to make righteous decisions that allow the laws of our land to be enforced against law-breakers. We pray for the ICE agents and others working with them to be protected and mighty in their work in the dark trenches of our country, in Jesus's name.
- "'Therefore they shall be like the morning cloud And like the early dew that passes away, Like chaff blown off from a threshing floor And like smoke from a chimney. Yet I am the Lord your God Ever since the land of Egypt, And you shall know no God but Me; Therefore is no savior besides Me.'" (Hosea 13:3-4)

2. John Thune to use Democrats' own 'nuclear option' to defeat Senate confirmation blockade - The Blaze
Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) is set to leverage a Democratic precedent to override their obstruction and clear through the lengthy backlog of nominees.
Democrats have held up President Donald Trump's Senate nominees for months, making it the first administration ever not to have a single nominee confirmed via voice vote or unanimous consent. Instead, Democrats are digging their heels in and forcing "time-consuming" votes on uncontroversial nominees who later get confirmed along bipartisan lines. Now, the "nuclear option" is on the table.
"It’s delay for delay’s sake, and it’s a pettiness that leaves desks sitting empty in agencies across the federal government and robs our duly elected president of a team to enact the agenda that the American people voted for in November," Thune said in an op-ed for Breitbart. (Read more)

- Holy King, we are in a challenging time within the government of our nation and we ask for Your guidance. We pray for the efforts of the democrats to overthrow the Trump administration to collapse and we ask You to do business with the Republicans who are still working to hold onto the old status quo. May there be a ground-swell of divine wisdom in Congress and Leader Thune would have the courage to support and establish justice on behalf of the voters and the president we have chosen, in Jesus's name. We ask You Abba, to show him the way to confirm all appointees quickly. Amen

3. North Carolina Republicans demand firing of judge who freed Ukrainian refugee's murder suspect - Fox News
Republican members of North Carolina’s congressional delegation are calling for the removal of a state judge who released a man now accused of stabbing a Ukrainian refugee to death on a Charlotte train.
All 10 House GOP members from the Tar Heel State signed a letter urging formal proceedings to remove Magistrate Judge Teresa Stokes. They cited her decision earlier this year to release Decarlos Brown "based solely on his ‘written promise’ to appear for a future court date."
Brown is now charged in the Aug. 22 stabbing of 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska, who fled Ukraine in 2022 after Russia’s invasion.
Republicans argued Stokes ignored Brown’s lengthy record when she freed him without bail. They argued that the release "was made despite Brown’s extensive criminal history, which included at least 14 prior arrests for serious offenses such as possession of a firearm by a felon, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and physical assault of his sister." - Creator of All, we cry out to You for mercy and comfort for the family and all who have been devastated by the horrific public murder of this beautiful young woman. We pray for every person who has been gut-wrenched over the injustices that empowered this cruel act of evil and pray for a turning of the tide in our nation and that the people who enable this level of wickedness are brought under Godly power and light, in Jesus's holy name. We ask You to compel those who can make a difference to rise up and do so with Your authority and righteousness. Holy One, we bind this unprovoked, cruel violence and demonic insanity in the name and power and blood of Jesus Christ. May revival fires be ignited and the beauty of life be glorified. Let God arise in this nation.
- "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." 4. Why Can’t CBS Stop Deceptively Editing Interviews with Politicians? - Newsbusters
Yet again, the propagandists at CBS have found themselves in the midst of another deceptive editing scandal. On Sunday, the network was caught editing out the substantive portion of one of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s responses to a question on Face the Nation.
But this incident is just the latest in CBS’s lengthy record of journalistic malfeasance. (Read more)

- Holy King, we declare that the lies and manipulations coming across the airwaves of this media organization and others would continue to be dismantled until they must speak truth or be silent, in Jesus's name. We give praise for those who have caught CBS in the act of misrepresenting people in our government in order to make them look bad or cause others to falsely look good. We pray for justice and truth to be highlighted in the reporting of news in this nation, in Jesus's name.
- "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life." (Galatians 6:7-8)

5. 'Constitutional Right’: Judge Shuts Down Michigan 2020 ‘Fake Electors’ Case - Daily Caller
A Michigan judge on Tuesday threw out charges against 15 people accused of acting as “fake electors” for President Donald Trump in the 2020 election.
Democratic Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel brought charges in 2023 against 16 people for allegedly attempting to act as electors in the Electoral College and cast electoral votes for Trump, despite former President Joe Biden winning the popular vote in the state. However, District Court Judge Kristen Simmons ruled on Tuesday that there was insufficient evidence to prove the defendants acted with criminal intent, according to multiple outlets.
“This is not an election interference case,” Simmons said during a hearing Tuesday, according to ABC News.
“I believe that they were executing their constitutional right to seek redress, and that’s based on the statements of all of the people’s witnesses,” the judge added. “There’s many things that could cause a pause in the electoral process, and it doesn’t mean that it’s criminal.” (Read more)

- We give praise that election integrity is still being adjudicated nationwide. Thank You Abba, for causing these charges to be thrown out and we pray that this attorney general recognizes that she does not have a leg to stand on and so pursues them no longer. We ask You Father to continue amplifying and expanding the persistent prayers over Michigan so that the unrighteousness is completely rooted out and justice prevails, in Jesus's name. Amen!
- "'Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, "Get justice for me from my adversary." And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, "Though I do not fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me."' Then the Lord said, 'Hear what the unjust judge said, And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?'" (Luke 18:3-8)

6. MAHA Commission Releases Explosive New Report on Children’s Health — Exposes Vaccine Injuries, Autism Links, and Plan to END Chronic Childhood Disease - The Gateway Pundit
The Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission, chaired by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is set to unveil its ambitious new strategy for addressing children’s health today.
According to AP News, the forthcoming “Make Our Children Healthy Again Strategy” report builds on prior findings unveiled in May and appears to expand into actionable reforms.
After months of review, the Commission identified four undeniable drivers of America’s child health crisis:
-
Toxic, ultra-processed diets — with over 60% of children’s calories now coming from industrial junk food.
-
Chemical exposures — pesticides, plastics, and synthetic toxins saturating food, air, and water.
-
Chronic stress and inactivity — children drowning in screen time, poor sleep, and collapsing mental health. (Read more)

- Mighty God, we thank You for RFK, Jr. persisting in evaluating the research and science that has already been conducted over the years, but never released publicly. We pray for continued changes in every national system that affects the health and well-being of our children and all people, in Jesus's name. May parents grow in their understanding of the human body as created by God, knowing how to nurture their children and securing their mental health and well-being, in Jesus's name. We pray for Godly understanding of the family unit, morality and You divine strategies for stewarding all that we have been given for our life, in Jesus's name.
- "For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well." (Psalm 139:13-14)

Daily Jot Special Report: Following the COVID Money
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, September 9, 2025
President Trump is demanding that drug companies come clean about what they knew and when they knew it. He says they showed him “extraordinary” private data on treatments during Operation Warp Speed but refused to release it broadly to the American public. That omission now looks suspicious, as Trump authorized billions of taxpayer dollars to fast-track vaccines and underwrite contracts for guaranteed distribution. Today, with the EUA era ending and the mRNA vaccines narrowed to high-risk groups only, Trump clearly senses there was more than science at play. Accountability for transparency, results, and profits is overdue. The American people were asked to trust the system, but the system may have betrayed that trust.
Billions in revenue were generated, not just for the drug companies, but for government institutions that claimed ownership of key patents. Moderna admitted in 2023 that it owed the NIH a $400 million “catch-up” payment and agreed to ongoing royalties for the spike protein stabilization technology. BioNTech reached settlements totaling nearly $1.26 billion, including $791.5 million to NIH and another $467 million to the University of Pennsylvania. Pfizer, as BioNTech’s partner, is on the hook for reimbursing part of those settlements. To put it plainly, taxpayers funded the science, government institutions patented the discoveries, and then those same institutions collected massive royalty checks when the vaccines were rolled out under EUA protections. That pipeline signals that the system was designed with a profit over health motive. Read More

Ancient DNA Pinpoints Culprit Responsible for World's First Pandemic
|
|
JERASH, JORDAN—The world’s first pandemic, known as the Plague of Justinian after the sitting Byzantine emperor, killed an estimated 25 to 100 million people between a.d. 541 and 750. Scientists have long speculated about what caused the outbreak and where it originated, though historical sources from the period suggest that it may have begun around Pelusium, Egypt, before spreading rapidly throughout the Middle East and the Mediterranean world. According to a statement released by the University of South Florida (USF), researchers participated in an interdisciplinary study that has uncovered—for the first time—direct genomic evidence pinpointing the bacterium Yersinia pestis as the cause of the plague.
The team sequenced genetic material from eight human teeth taken from individuals buried in a mid-sixth to early seventh-century a.d. mass grave beneath the former Roman hippodrome in Jerash, Jordan, a city just 200 miles from ancient Pelusium. The study determined that the plague victims carried nearly identical strains of Y. pestis, confirming for the first time that the microbe was present within the Byzantine Empire between a.d. 550 and 660. “For centuries, we’ve relied on written accounts describing a devastating disease, but lacked any hard biological evidence of plague’s presence,” said USF researcher Rays H.Y. Jiang. “Our findings provide the missing piece of that puzzle, offering the first direct genetic window into how this pandemic unfolded at the heart of the empire.” Yersinia pestis was also responsible for causing the infamous Black Death, which may have wiped out as much as 50 percent of Europe’s population in the fourteenth century. Read the original scholarly article about this research in Genes. To read about evidence of a virulent form of the bacterium that circulated as early as 1800 b.c., go to "Bronze Age Plague," one of ARCHAEOLOGY's Top 10 Discoveries of 2018. Read More
