Adam Brandao, 24, is a Christian rapper who publicly shares his testimony after leaving Islam. In an exclusive interview with Britannia Daily, he recalls the friendship, the prayer experiment and the three knocks on a door that he says changed the course of his life. There was a time when Adam Brandao would have crossed the street to avoid a Christian. Raised in a Muslim household where faith was woven into everyday life, he says he absorbed a hostility towards Christianity almost without noticing. “I became a product of my environment and began to see Christians as stupid,” he says. “I began to hate the God they worshipped.”
Today, that same God is the subject of his music. Brandao now writes and performs Christian rap and shares his story openly online — a decision that has cost him relationships, drawn hostility from his former community, and, he says, given him a peace he never knew growing up.
Brandao is keen to stress that his conversion was not the drift of a lukewarm believer.
His grandmother was the spiritual anchor of the family, and for years he was the only sibling who took the faith seriously. “My mum and grandma were impressed by the fact that I would take the faith seriously,” he recalls. Like many young people, his practice ebbed and flowed. “I had times where I slipped out of the routine, and times where I went back into it,” he says. But in the weeks before his conversion, he was praying harder than ever, desperately seeking a sign from Allah. Trump Remembers 9/11 on Ahead of 25th Anniversary, Awards Presidential Medal of Freedom to 'Man in the Red Bandana'

President Donald Trump on Tuesday remembered the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks ahead of the 25th anniversary on Friday, and presented a posthumous Presidential Medal of Freedom to Welles Crowther, who saved 18 lives in the South Tower.
The president and Tunnel to Towers hosted the event on the Ellipse, where the president honored the 2,977 victims killed in New York City, the Pentagon, and aboard United Airlines Flight 93.
“On 9/11, nearly 3,000 precious souls were stolen from us, killed by evil terrorists at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and on Flight 93,” Trump said. “All of these years later, we gather on another Tuesday morning in September to reaffirm the sacred vow we made a quarter of a century ago: We will never forget.”
A beam from the south tower of the World Trade Center, weighing 16,000 pounds and spanning 21 feet, was on display at the Ellipse. The beam was part of a multi-city tour before Tuesday’s solemn event in the nation’s capital.
“The 16,000-pound beam lifted from the ruins of the South Tower will forever testify to the courage and resilience and spirit of a city and a nation that saw our homeland struck, our towers knocked down, and stood back up stronger, more determined, and more united than ever before,” the president said. Thank You that his family was told the story of Welles great love and courage as he continued to 'go back', instead of saving his own life. What to know about Trump's unusual midterm Convention

President Donald Trump and his Republican Party are taking the unusual step of staging a national Republican convention ahead of November's midterm elections, gambling that a high-profile show of party unity can energize supporters and help Republicans defy historical midterm losses despite his low approval ratings.
Vice President JD Vance's appearance will be closely watched as Republicans begin looking ahead to the 2028 presidential contest, in which he is widely viewed as a leading contender. He speaks just before Trump's closing remarks on Thursday.
Organizers say they expect about 30,000 attendees over the two days of the convention, which has been funded by Republican donors and will cost over $40 million.
The RNC says Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Attorney General Todd Blanche will be among the speakers.
Organizers say each night will showcase Republican candidates running in key congressional races around the country and also "everyday Americans" who say they have been helped by Trump's policies. The event will focus on topics such as trade, public safety and Republican candidates contrasting "the extreme positions" of Democrats.
On Thursday, the eve of the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, attacks, organizers plan a remembrance with the families of emergency responders.

President Donald Trump scored a key victory in New Hampshire on Tuesday night, with his chosen candidate winning the GOP primary for one of the state's two battleground congressional districts.
Businessman Anthony DiLorenzo defeated Novel Iron Works owner Hollie Noveletsky and state Rep. Brian Cole to clinch the Republican nomination for the Granite State's 1st U.S. House district. The race has been contentious on both sides of the aisle for the open seat, which is currently occupied by Rep. Chris Pappas, D-N.H., who is running for the U.S. Senate.
DiLorenzo said he supported deporting people who came to the U.S. illegally and added, "I would start with the dangerous people, the criminals, the drug dealers, the human traffickers. The law is clear, and I support law enforcement and the enforcement of our laws."
Trump endorsed DiLorenzo in July, writing on Truth Social, "As a very successful Businessman and Entrepreneur, Anthony understands the America First Policies required to Create GREAT Jobs, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Unleash American Energy DOMINANCE, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., and Champion our Nation’s Golden Age." ‘If you boycott Israel, we boycott you’: Florida Rep. Fine warns UK of consequences

The United Kingdom’s recent decision to impose sanctions on Israeli settlements and individuals in the West Bank is a “disgusting” political calculation that could lead to the bankruptcy of major British companies, Florida Rep. Randy Fine (R) warned in an interview with The Jerusalem Post.
Fine, a leading voice in Florida’s pro-Israel legislative efforts, reacted sharply to the UK’s shift in policy, attributing the move to internal British demographics and a “desperate effort” to court specific voter blocs.
“I think it’s disgusting, and I think it shows the risk of the mass Islamification of Western societies,” Fine said. “This is a political calculation. They let all of these people in – who hate Britain – and now they’re catering to them for votes.”
He added that the UK’s trajectory serves as a “warning sign” to the United States regarding immigration and social integration.
Fine, who was instrumental in crafting Florida’s anti-BDS (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions) legislation, emphasized that the fallout for the UK from his state will be legal and economic rather than merely rhetorical. Iran Planning Bigger 'October 7' Style Attack On Israel Using Proxies: Report

Iran is actively coordinating a comprehensive, multi-front October 7-style attack against Israel alongside its regional proxy networks, according to Israeli intelligence assessments.
The Islamic Republic is planning to combine its forces, often referred to as the "Axis of Resistance", with Hezbollah in Lebanon, Houthis in Yemen, Hamas and pro-Iranian militias in Iraq and Syria in one single assault, the Jerusalem Post reported.
Even though the October 7 attack was launched without the other fronts joining in, Hamas documents seized from the Gaza Strip revealed that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar envisioned a broader regional war with Hezbollah and Iran to join a wider campaign against Israel.
Sinwar assumed the initial success of Hamas' assault would force Iran and Hezbollah into a full-scale regional campaign.
However, the report cited published US and Israeli assessments which stated that Iran and Hezbollah had not been informed about the details of the October 7 attack or on which date it would be carried out.
This lack of prior synchronisation resulted in a fragmented response, with Hezbollah launching limited strikes in the north rather than a massive, parallel offensive that morning.

Israel’s upcoming election officially took shape on Tuesday night, as the last of 38 parties submitted their candidate slates for the October 27 vote.
The parties registering their lists ahead of Tuesday’s 10 p.m. deadline ranged from the ruling Likud party to Blue and White, the centrist faction widely expected to fall short of entering the Knesset. Also submitting on Tuesday evening were the Knesset’s two Haredi parties, Shas and United Torah Judaism, plus the far-right Religious Zionism, and the Joint List comprising three mostly Arab factions.
But while the candidate lists featured a smattering of new names and last-moment recruits, there were no eleventh-hour mergers. Despite heavy speculation that some parties would unite, the flurry of party registrations this week ended with the electoral landscape largely unchanged, and still deadlocked between supporters and opponents of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar affirmed that Israel is not planning to expel any Palestinians from the Gaza Strip when asked if Slovenia would support efforts to move Gazans out of the territory, during a joint press conference with Slovenian Foreign Minister Tone Kajzer on Wednesday.
“First of all, we are not planning to expel or to deport anyone from the Gaza Strip,” Sa’ar emphasized, stating that his position is in line with international norms and laws.
He added that Israel would not force anyone to stay in Gaza and would not oppose Palestinians choosing to leave Gaza of their own volition if they are provided with an opportunity to do so. (Read more)

The Likud party is demanding an investigation into the Haaretz newspaper and the journalists behind a report claiming that approximately a week and a half before October 7, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received a warning from the president of the United Arab Emirates regarding Hamas’s intentions.
“The real affair that has been uncovered over the past two days is blatant foreign interference in Israel’s elections. It has emerged that the person behind the false report in Haaretz is senior Palestinian official Mohammed Dahlan, who is based in the Emirates," the party said in a statement issued Wednesday evening.
“Dahlan formed a joint slate with Hamas for the Palestinian Authority elections. He wants to bring down the right-wing government headed by Netanyahu because he dreams of taking control of the Gaza Strip. To do that, he needs a weak left-wing government of Eisenkot, Yair Golan, Liberman and the Arab parties. Such a government would withdraw from Gaza and hand it over to his control," Likud claimed. For decades Hezbollah has been exploiting Lebanon's fractured political system to dominate the country's south, but it has also stepped into the place of the Lebanese state and usurped its position as the provider of education and social welfare.
In particular, Hezbollah has opened private educational institutes in the country that cater to its Shia constituency. However, rather than provide a quality education to improve the lives of its base, Hezbollah has instead developed its education sector as an "ideological and doctrinal incubator," which according to The Beiruter, can be described as "educational mobilization."
These educational institutions vary from basic elementary schools all the way to higher education institutions like the Al-Mustafa International University. Their goal is to create a "Resistance Society" capable of supporting the development of a theocratic Shia government similar to Iran's, which necessitates total control over education. (Read more)

5. Ahead of Rosh Hashanah, Israel population is at 10,305,000, up 1.2% over last year - Times of Israel
Israel’s population is estimated at 10,305,000 people, the Central Bureau of Statistics said Wednesday in figures released ahead of the Jewish New Year, or Rosh Hashanah, which begins on Friday night.
They include 7,828,000 Jews and those classified as “other” (78.3% of Israelis), 2,173,000 Arabs (21.7%), and 304,000 foreign nationals residing in the country.

1. Treasury to Buy Back $6 Billion in Long-Dated US Government Debt - DML News
The Treasury Department said on Sept. 9 that it will buy back $6 billion in long-term debt, more than it initially announced last month.
On Aug. 19, the Treasury confirmed that it would increase debt buybacks from $2 billion to at least $4 billion to put pressure on long-dated yields.
But a preliminary announcement revealed that the Treasury plans to repurchase $6 billion in 10- and 20-year government bonds.
This is triple the normal amount and 50 percent more than last month’s department plan. The buyback, taking place on Wednesday, involves the government repurchasing its own bonds to help ease long-term interest rates. (Read more) |

2. Senate Probe: Abortion Pill Firms Profit While Skipping Safety Checks - Million Voices
A new Senate investigation says the companies that make and sell the abortion pill mifepristone have no real system for policing the doctors and websites that prescribe it. The five-month probe, led by Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee Chairman Bill Cassidy, was released on August 27. It raises fresh questions about who is actually watching over a drug used in roughly two-thirds of all U.S. abortions each year.
The Senate report examined three companies that make mifepristone: Danco Laboratories, which sells the brand-name drug Mifeprex; GenBioPro, which makes a generic version; and Evita Solutions, the newest generic maker. All three are required under Food and Drug Administration safety rules, known as REMS, to make sure prescribers are certified and properly trained.
Under those rules, certified prescribers must be able to confirm how far along a pregnancy is, diagnose a life-threatening ectopic pregnancy, and arrange emergency care such as surgery or a blood transfusion if something goes wrong. But investigators found that Danco and GenBioPro have never disciplined a prescriberfor violating those safety requirements, even after five months of scrutiny. (Read more) |

3. Liberty University Student Asks Supreme Court to Restore Aid - Million Voices
A Liberty University student is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a 22-year-old precedent that lets states deny scholarship money to students studying for religious ministry. Attorneys for Bethany Hall filed the petition on August 11, arguing the 2004 case has no place in today’s First Amendment law.
Hall started college in 2023 as a music education major at Liberty University, fully eligible for Virginia’s Tuition Assistance Grant, a $5,000-per-year benefit available to students at the state’s private colleges. Everything changed when she switched her major first to youth ministries, then to music and worship.
State officials declared her ineligible for the grant the moment her coursework became religious in nature, even though secular music students receive the same funding without question. The change cost her roughly $20,000 in lost tuition assistance over her four years at Liberty. (Read more) |

4. Supreme Court to Decide Fate of AR-15-Style Rifles - Million Voices
The Second Amendment Foundation filed its opening brief at the U.S. Supreme Court on August 28, launching what could become the most significant Second Amendment case since District of Columbia v. Heller. The case asks whether the Constitution protects Americans’ right to own AR-15-style rifles, the most popular firearm in the country.
The case, Cutberto Viramontes, et al. v. Cook County, Illinois, challenges a local ban on so-called “assault weapons” that Cook County passed back in 2006. The Supreme Court consolidated it with a similar Connecticut case, Grant v. Higgins, on June 30 and will hear one hour of argument covering both once the new term begins in October.

5. Homeschooling explodes in NYC as frustrated families reject Big Apple’s failing public school system - New York Post
The number of New York parents choosing to homeschool has exploded by more than 200% over the past 15 years — the highest rate of growth in all school sectors — as the nation’s biggest public school system struggles with an illiteracy and innumeracy crisis.
According to the most recent 2025-2026 figures analyzed by The Post, New York state now has a whopping 53,905 children being homeschooled — a figure that has more than tripled since 2009-10.
In New York City, those figures are also rising — with more than 14,000 children being homeschooled at last count.
Zilvinas Silenas, president of the Empire Center for Public Policy think tank, told the New York Post that state taxpayers have been spending a whopping $37,000 per child on the public school system – the highest rate in the world – “yet we lose in reading and mathematics to Mississippi, the poorest state.” (Read more) |

6. Anthropic researcher quits ‘out of control’ AI with chilling warning - DML News
Jacob Coxon, a researcher for OpenAI and Anthropic, the companies behind chatbots ChatGPT and Claude, announced he exited the business in a social media post on Tuesday and warned that neither company is ‘acting responsibly.’
‘I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives,’ Coxon wrote on X.

Stupidocrisy: Of Democrats, Ballots, and Socialism

The Democratic Party has a marvelous new definition of freedom where socialism deserves a comfortable chair inside their “big tent.” DNC Chairman Ken Martin says there are small differences between conservatives to socialists. New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, an avowed democratic socialist, says there is room for both socialists and traditional Democrats. The Democratic platform, meanwhile, speaks reverently of protecting American “rights and freedoms.” So we are asked to believe that socialist government authority comfortably coexists with individual liberty. These Democrats are redefining “freedom” to mean what government says it is, while assuring you the arrangement is liberating.
Then there is election integrity. Democrats proclaim that voting is sacred, elections must be secure and public confidence protected. Yet Democratic leaders fiercely oppose the SAVE America Act and its stronger citizenship and voter-identification requirements. Meanwhile, 14 traditionally Democratic-controlled states plus Washington, D.C., allow people to vote at the polls without presenting any identification. Democrats argue that identification requirements can burden eligible voters, including married women, seniors and people without ready access to documents. Fine. Solve these issues, if indeed they are problems. But instead, identification itself becomes the villain. Houthi Attacks Injure 73, Disrupt Energy Facilities: Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia stated that Houthi missile and drone attacks struck energy infrastructure and civilian sites in its southern border region near Yemen on Sept. 8, temporarily disrupting operations, sparking fires, and injuring 73 civilians.
The Iran-aligned Houthi terrorist organization claimed responsibility and vowed further attacks. The attacks targeted facilities in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran, according to Maj. Gen. Turki al-Maliki, a spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen.
The Red Sea port city of Jazan is home to one of Saudi Arabia’s largest oil refineries, Aramco, which processes 400,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
Al-Maliki described the strikes as a dangerous escalation that targeted the kingdom’s national assets, citizens, and residents.
The attacks sparked fires and temporarily disrupted some energy facilities, the Saudi Energy Ministry stated. Authorities were taking steps to maintain operations under contingency plans, it stated.
Houthi military spokesperson Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree said the group carried out what he described as a large-scale, specialized military operation using dozens of ballistic missiles and drones. Saree said the attacks were retaliation for 121 Saudi airstrikes over the previous three days against Yemen’s Marib, Al-Bayda, Hodeidah, Taiz, and Al-Jawf provinces. (The Epoch Times) Read more.

We come against this attack on Saudi Arabia by the terrorist group Houthis and Lord we pray that You would intercede and tear down this Iranian-controlled group in Yemen.
Lord, we pray that these strikes that created a dangerous escalation of Saudi Arabia's national assets, its citizens and residents would wake up the world to see that we cannot play games with these wicked regimes and instead must completely remove them.
As Saudi Arabia recovers from the attack on their energy facilities and the Saudi Aramco Refinery, we pray for protection over their citizens and for their families. Lord, we know that You see who the common denominator is in all the battles happening in the Middle East and we ask that Your vengeance will be released upon all wickedness.

Hungary Expels 10 Russian Diplomats

Hungary ordered the expulsion of 10 Russian diplomats on Sept. 7.
Moscow’s ambassador to Budapest was told that “according to the assessment of the Hungarian authorities, 10 members of the Russian mission had engaged in activities in Hungary that are unacceptable for diplomats under the Vienna Convention,” Foreign Minister Anita Orbán said in a Sept. 8 post on X.
The Vienna Convention is a 1961 treaty that governs diplomats’ behavior.
“This decision protects Hungary’s security and sovereignty,” Orbán continued, adding that it “does not imply breaking off diplomatic relations with Russia,” and that Budapest “intends to continue the necessary dialogue, based on mutual respect and adherence to the rules.”
She did not provide any more details, including as to how long the banishment would last.

We pray for Hungary as they expel 10 Russian Diplomats for allegedly being engaged in unacceptable activities under the Vienna Convention. Protect them, Lord, from the wicked one who seeks to cause division. Lord, we pray that this decision by Hungary will not escalate into any kind of military retaliation from Russia, as their foreign ministry has stated that the Kremlin's response would be harsh and painful.
Father, we continue to pray that nothing would happen out of Your timing, as we keep our eyes on You, the Author and Finisher of our faith. We will not be afraid of the terrors and rumors that come upon us each day through media reports but will trust in You as You guide us to the finish line. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Schools Ban Headscarves For Girls As Islam’s Bloody Teachings Spread

Austria began implementing a new ban on headscarves for young girls at schools as lawmakers grapple with the growing influence of Islam in the country.
The ban, which prohibits girls 14 years old and younger from wearing headscarves at schools, went into effect on Monday as school started. Supporters of the proposal have argued that the intent is to establish a “clear commitment to gender equality.” Claudia Bauer, a top Austrian official and member of the conservative People’s Party, described the headscarf as “a sign of oppression and a means of controlling girls from the earliest childhood.”
While about just 8% of Austria’s population is Muslim, data indicates that around 35% of students at primary schools in Vienna, the country’s most populous city, are Muslim.
The law passed last year after a similar effort was struck down by a court in 2020. The new law was made more broad. When violations occur, school officials must meet with the girl and her legal guardians. Repeated violations could lead to a $929 fine and notification of child protective services, according to the BBC.
Yannick Shetty, a supporter of the ban and member of the liberal Neos party, said the proposal is “not a measure against a religion. It is a measure to protect the freedom of girls in this country.”
Others, like Ricarda Berger, a spokeswoman for the Freedom Party of Austria, want the ban to be extended.

We rejoice with Austria for implementing a new ban prohibiting headscarves to be worn by girls 14 and under at schools, recognizing that the headscarf is a means of oppression and a means of controlling girls from the earliest childhood.
As Islam becomes more prominent in our nations, we pray, Lord, that nations would wake up just as Austria has and recognize that political Islam has no place in trying to implement their values and religious beliefs on other countries.
God Almighty, You are the King of the entire Universe and we trust You to give Your people wisdom and discernment before they allow other beliefs to sneak in, causing confusion and wreak havoc with our justice systems.

Divers uncover hundreds of ancient relics near shipwreck untouched for 2,100 years
|

Archaeologists recently uncovered a roughly 2,100-year-old shipwreck off the coast of Sicily — along with hundreds of remnants of its ancient cargo.
The discovery was announced last month by the Italian Ministry of Culture. The ruins are about three miles off the coast of Mazara del Vallo, a city located about 50 miles southwest of Palermo.
The wreck was discovered during a joint inspection by Italian cultural heritage officials and Carabinieri diving units after private citizens reported the site.
The Roman-era wreck dates between the second and first centuries B.C., the ministry said.
Divers found the site at a depth of about 150 feet.
"Hundreds of amphorae, predominantly of the Dressel 1A type, are present on the seabed, along with two lead anchor stocks and another structure made of the same material," officials said in a translated statement.
Pictures show hundreds of ancient amphorae clustered across the seabed, many still remarkably intact despite spending more than 2,000 years underwater. (Fox News)
