Trump Announces Presidential Medal of Freedom for Charlie Kirk
|

|
The assassin’s bullet that struck down conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Wednesday won’t erase his memory.
At the White House on Thursday, President Donald Trump announced Kirk will be granted the Presidential Medal of Freedom, posthumously, in a ceremony that’s to be announced.
And, at the beginning of ceremony marking the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks almost a quarter century ago, Trump made it clear why the award was so fitting.
“Before we begin, let me express the horror and grief of so many Americans at the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk,” Trump said.
“Charlie was a giant of his generation, a champion of liberty, and an inspiration to millions and millions of people …
“We miss him greatly, yet I have no doubt that Charlie’s voice and the courage that he put into the hearts of countless people, especially young people, will live on.” (The Epoch Times) Read more here

- Father God, we are eternally grateful for the life and the life’s work of Charlie Kirk. We are beyond heartbroken that he is no longer with us, but we rejoice that the fruit of his earthly life will live on and be magnified in his tragic passing. May the ripple effect of his courage, boldness, sacrifice, godly wisdom and love for his country and its people become a tidal wave, bringing truth, freedom, hope and purpose to generations to come.
We praise You that our President has seen fit to bestow the Presidential
Medal of Freedom, posthumously, upon the life and memory of Charlie Kirk,

FBI Finds Weapon Used in Charlie Kirk Assassination: Manhunt Continues
|
|
Officials say they have footage of the suspected shooter, who appears to be college-aged,
but are not releasing it yet. Authorities are searching for the perpetrator who fatally shot conservative influencer Charlie Kirk at an event at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10.
The shooter, who wore dark clothing, fired from a campus building roughly 200 yards
from Kirk, the university and authorities said. Authorities said the suspect then jumped off
the building and fled into a neighborhood.
The FBI said it recovered the weapon, a high-powered bolt action rifle, in a nearby
wooded area. The shooter appeared to be college-aged and “blended in well” at the college, authorities said.
Two people of interest were questioned over the incident and later cleared. Authorities
have requested tips from the public in their search for the suspect.
President Donald Trump, in remarks on Wednesday evening, vowed to find those
responsible for the killing and hold them accountable. Utah Gov. Spencer Cox described the act as a “political assassination.”
U.S. lawmakers have called for heightened security in the wake of the attack, House
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said on Wednesday evening.

- Abba, our country needs You to help everyone whose heart has been broken over the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Father God, it is so confusing when horrible things happen to Your kids, our hearts cry out, "where are You?" We ask for Your presence to flood into our nation, allow the peace that passes understanding to change our minds and hearts from disbelief to praise and worship of the God that Charlie knew, loved and talked about all the time. Give us vision to see You as Charlie saw You, to know the length, breadth, and depth of Your love for each of us.
Your word says that vengeance is Yours, not ours. We ask Holy Spirit to guide and direct all law enforcement officers to the killer's exact location, we ask that he/she be brought in unharmed and able to tell investigators why they did this heinous act that took Charlie's life. We ask that he/she be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,and for Your justice to be accomplished for Charlie and his family. We ask this in the name Yahweh Rohi, the Lord Our Shepherd.

Iran Renews Cooperation with IAEA Under New Framework
|
|
The Iranian regime inked an agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency on Tuesday to resume cooperation and allow renewed inspections of its nuclear sites under a new framework.
It comes after months of suspension following Iran’s 12-day war with Israel in June, which included Israeli and American attacks on the country’s nuclear infrastructure, and subsequent parliamentary legislation halting collaboration.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and IAEA chief Rafael Grossi signed the deal in Cairo. Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty participated in the meeting.

Grossi called it “an important step in the right direction,” as quoted by France24, adding, “this is a door we are opening.”
During a joint press conference with Grossi and Abdelatty, Araghchi said, “Today, I and the IAEA director general hold a final round of negotiations to finalize the understanding on how to conduct Iran’s safeguards commitments in light of the developments following the unlawful attacks on Iran’s nuclear installations.”
The framework was “fully consistent” with the new law, which stipulates that nuclear inspectors would require authorization from the country’s top security body in order to conduct their work, he said.
However, Araghchi told state TV in an interview on Wednesday that “I have to reiterate the agreement does not currently provide access to IAEA inspectors, apart from the Bushehr nuclear plant.” He added: “Based on reports that Iran will issue in the future, the nature of access will have to be discussed at an appropriate time.” (JNS.org) Read more here.

- Abba, thank You for working behind the scenes to create an agreement between Iran and the IAEA, resuming cooperation in inspections of its nuclear sites. Father God, we ask You to speak to the hearts of all Iranian leadership, let them know how You see countries that negotiate contracts and then break them. Open their eyes to what Your response would be to that kind of decision making, give them an understanding of what will happen to each person who breaks their word given when the contract was signed. We ask that the fear of Your response keep the Iranians from cheating as they have every other time. We ask this in the name El Roi, The God Who Sees everything.

The Death of Liberty: France's Islamic Future and the The Coming Collapse of Europe

France, once a cradle of Western ideals, is being remade before our eyes. The nation of Charlemagne, Joan of Arc, and de Gaulle is crumbling into something unrecognizable. The steeples of cathedrals no longer define the skyline; minarets rise in their place. Bells grow silent, while the call to prayer echoes through neighborhoods once known for their Christian roots. This is not just demographic drift. It is a civilizational transformation--and it is accelerating.
Already, Muslims comprise about 10% of France's population. By 2050, that figure is expected to reach nearly 17%. That percentage may sound small, but in politics, it is enough to dominate elections and shape national policy. In Paris, Marseille, and Lyon, entire districts have been overtaken by Islamist influence. Police hesitate to enter. French law is mocked. Local councils are controlled by Muslim blocs that prioritize their own religious and political agendas. The France of liberté, égalité, fraternité is becoming a relic, a memory, a Wikipedia entry.
The transformation is most visible in the nation's places of worship. France now has more than 2,500 mosques, with hundreds more being built. Just decades ago, churches stood as the cornerstone of every French village. Today, those same churches are abandoned, sold off, or converted into libraries, restaurants, or apartment blocks. In rural France, some parishes report fewer than ten worshipers on a Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, mosques overflow with tens of thousands of faithful, spilling into the streets for Friday prayers. In some cities, local governments even block roads to accommodate the crowds, granting special privileges never extended to Christians. The message is clear: Islam is not simply present in France; it is ascendant.
And as Islam rises, Jewish life shrinks into the shadows. Antisemitic incidents have exploded, multiplying several times over in just a few short years. Jewish schools have become fortresses, guarded by soldiers with automatic rifles. Holocaust memorials are defaced with pro-Palestinian slogans. Families live behind locked doors, fearful of neighbors who once nodded politely but now spit threats. France's Jewish population--the largest in Europe--is fleeing in droves, seeking refuge in Israel or America. They know what France refuses to admit: the nation is no longer safe for them.
Yet President Emmanuel Macron responds not with courage, but with cowardice. This September, he will take the stage at the United Nations and announce France's recognition of a Palestinian state. He calls it a "principled stand." But it is nothing more than appeasement. Macron bows to a growing Muslim electorate, trading away France's moral spine for short-term political survival. While synagogues sit under guard and Jews pack their bags, France chooses to humiliate Israel--the one democratic ally in the Middle East--and reward its enemies.
This is not just political miscalculation; it is moral rebellion. Scripture warns in Joel 4:2: "I will enter into judgment... because they have scattered My people and divided My land." By turning against Israel, Macron is not protecting France from Islamist rage. He is inviting judgment on a nation already crumbling. France is no longer the Christian nation it use to be, but functions more like an Islamic nation, and many major cities like Brussels, London and Berlin are in very much the same place. Father God, we ask You to interceed in these neighborhoods and cities, speak to individual hearts that are fearful to show their love for You because of intimidation or threats of serious crimes. We ask You to prove Yourself strong for those in major European cities who can no longer follow their faith, go to church, speak Your name. We decree and declare that You have given Your people the strength, through prayer, to the pulling down of strongholds of Islamic rule and worship in their land, that law enforcement will no longer be unwilling to go into Islamic neighborhoods, that schools will no longer teach French children Islamic law because their parents have no way to object.. We ask this in the name El Gibhor, Mighty God, the God who will accomplish the destruction of His enemies.

Late-night hosts Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel mourn death of Charlie Kirk
|

Late-night hosts Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert mourned the death of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk on Wednesday after he was assassinated at a campus event in Utah.
"Instead of the angry finger-pointing, can we just for one day agree that it is horrible and monstrous to shoot another human?" Kimmel wrote on Instagram. "On behalf of my family, we send love to the Kirks and to all the children, parents and innocents who fall victim to senseless gun violence."
Colbert's remarks came ahead of "The Late Show" on Wednesday.
"Our condolences go out to his family and all of his loved ones. I am old enough to personally remember the political violence of the 1960s, and I hope it is obvious to everyone in America that political violence does not solve any of our political differences," Colbert said.
"Political violence only leads to more political violence. And I pray with all my heart that this is the aberrant action of a madman and not a sign of things to come," Colbert continued.
President Donald Trump issued a statement on Wednesday focused on Kirk’s legacy as a patriot and leader. He described Kirk as a "wonderful American" who embodied the values of faith, liberty, and courage, and vowed that his administration would pursue accountability for those responsible.
Trump also issued a strong warning about the dangers of political rhetoric that fuels violence. "It’s long past time for all Americans and the media to confront the fact that violence and murder are the tragic consequence of demonizing those with whom you disagree day after day, year after year, in the most hateful and despicable way possible," the president said. - Father God, we have been praying for healing for our nation, and now it seems that this is coming forth. We thank you for these two comedians, who both host late-night shows, who have (in a sense) repented of their ways and who are now encouraging their listeners to "stand down" from endorsing acts of political
viiolence. Yes, in America, we surely do have our First Amendment freedom to debate issues in the public square, but not to take lives in the process. We thank You for this new move on the part of Jimmie Kimmel and Stephen Colbert, and we ask that their listeners would take heed to their words.
Lord God, we also ask today for a MIRACLE: that this hostile rhetoric would disappear from our social media. We ask all of this in Your mighty name, Abba, for whom nothing is impossible! Amen and amen!

1. PM Netanyahu signs West Bank settlement expansion plan, rules out Palestinian state - Jerusalem Post
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu signed a “umbrella agreement” on Thursday to push ahead with a controversial settlement expansion plan that would cut across land in the West Bank that the Palestinians seek for a state.
“There will never be a Palestinian state. This place is ours,” Netanyahu said during a visit to Ma’aleh Adumim in the West Bank, where thousands of new housing units would be added to an already sprawling city of some 37,000 inhabitants.
“We will safeguard our heritage, our land, and our security.”

2. Israeli official: Qatar strike was a partial success - Israel Hayom
The decision to target senior Hamas officials in Qatar was made during a cabinet meeting that extended into Shabbat on January 18, 2025, as Israel was preparing for a second hostage deal. The move was part of a broader package of measures intended to reduce the heavy security costs of releasing hundreds of terrorists as part of the deal.
The goal, according to the discussions, was to launch a series of unconventional operations meant to increase pressure on Hamas until it agreed to surrender and return the hostages. One of these nonconventional measures was the plan to strike Hamas' leadership abroad.
In the months that followed, many cabinet ministers and most senior defense officials repeatedly stressed the need to target Hamas leaders overseas. Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir and other senior officers told the cabinet that the military campaign in Gaza had run its course, and that to increase pressure on Hamas to accept a deal, Israel had to hit its leadership abroad. Qatar will host an emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Doha on Sunday and Monday to discuss the Israeli attack on the Gulf state’s capital city that targeted Hamas leaders, according to an invitation received Thursday by Qatar’s news agency.
The unprecedented Israeli airstrike on Tuesday targeted a meeting of Hamas’s top leaders, headlined by Gaza chief Khalil al-Hayya, as they were said to be gathered at the group’s political offices in Doha to discuss a new US-sponsored hostage-ceasefire proposal aimed at ending the war in Gaza.
According to Hamas, none of the main leadership members targeted in the strike were killed, and Israel is said to be increasingly pessimistic about the success of the strike but has no definitive intelligence on who was killed. (Read more)

President Isaac Herzog traveled to London on Wednesday, where he met with Prime Minister Keir Starmer ahead of Britain’s planned recognition of unilateral Palestinian statehood at the United Nations.
Herzog’s office said the president flew to Britain to voice Israel’s “strong objections to the British government’s intention to recognize a Palestinian state” and to push back on Britain’s recent sanctions on Israel.

- Lord God, please forgive us for not pointing out sin as we go about doing Your work in our daily lives. Lord, help us to lead a lifestyle of repentance before You so that the Gospel we preach will match our lifestyle and be a witness to others. We pray that sermons and lesson in churches will point out exactly what sin is and what its consequences are. We know that evil has prospered because the result of sin has not been explained in clear terms and unknowledgeable people have not been corrected by the clergy. With the current events of a Christian leader being assassinated and the memorials for 9-11, we pray that people throughout our country will reconsider their spiritual wellbeing.

4. Treasury Claims The National Debt Is $37 Trillion - The Reality Is
Much Worse – Prophecy Newswatch
Ask officials in the U.S. Department of Treasury's Bureau of Fiscal Service what America's national debt total is, and they reply that as of September 3, 2025, every man, woman, and child currently living in America today is collectively responsible for $37,274,265,917,907.03. Or more than $37 trillion.
To put that figure into perspective, a stack of 37 trillion dollar bills, with each bill being 0.0043 of an inch thick, would reach more than 2.5 million miles high. That's enough to go to the Moon and back to the Earth 10 times. Or to put it in a more personal perspective, every man, woman, and child in America owes about $110,000.
But as daunting as those figures are, they don't tell whole story. Not even close, according to Truth in Accounting (TIA), a Chicago-based nonprofit devoted to reforming how government calculates and reports its actual debt and related fiscal obligations, such as loan guarantees.
"Truth in Accounting's review of the latest available audited Financial Report of the U.S. Government found its overall financial condition worsened by $4.7 trillion in 2024. Despite this alarming trend, elected officials continue to make financial decisions that have contributed to a mounting debt burden of $158.6 trillion," according to TIA's most recent Financial State of the Union report. "This staggering debt translates to a $974,000 liability for every federal taxpayer, resulting in the federal government receiving a failing grade for its fiscal responsibility."
Why such a yawning gulf between the official and the actual national debt? The reason,
according to TIA, is that Treasury Department officials don't include in its national debt
calculations benefits such as Social Security and Medicare promised in the future -- but not

We pray for you to give the Trump Administration wisdom and discernment in dealing with our mounting national debt. We ask you, Lord, to sort out the truth from the lies and expose it! Lord, make a way where there seems to be no way to reduce this debt so that our Medicare seniors will continue to receive the benefits that they deserve. We ask that the Trump Administration would continue to remove illegal aliens from the medicare system that is continually causing some of this debt. 5. Israel Suggests Further Attacks On Qatar Possible: "We'll Get Them Next Time" – ZeroHedge
Israel's leaders are doubling down on (indirect) threats toward Qatar after Tuesday's surprise strike on a Doha home and office which killed five top Hamas leaders and negotiators.
Qatari leaders have expressed outrage over the violation of their country's sovereignty, but Israeli Ambassador to the US, Yechiel Leiter, has said Wednesday that Israel could strike Qatar again if it harbors terrorists - though oddly, the Hamas team was there as part of public US-backed diplomatic talks.

6. Massive Leak Reveals China Exporting Digital Authoritarianism: Study - The Epoch Times
Researchers with InterSecLab and several human rights organizations on Sept. 9 published a report detailing how the Chinese communist regime has not only refined its internet surveillance and censorship abilities domestically, but is also exporting these methods for profit.
The findings are the conclusion of analyzing more than 100,000 leaked documents from Geedge Networks, a Chinese company that has contracted with governments in Kazakhstan, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Burma (Myanmar), and other unknown governments to “establish sophisticated systems of internet censorship and surveillance.”
An Associated Press investigation published the same day exposed how Chinese systems used to persecute ethnic and religious minorities, including Falun Gong practitioners, were built on technologies supplied by American companies over the past several decades.
The InterSecLab findings confirm that Geedge frequently copied products from Western companies and designed its own products to be “sanction proof” by enabling usage across a wide range of network equipment options.

We’re stunned and heartbroken by the brutal assassination of Charlie Kirk, shot in the neck during a speaking event at Utah Valley University. A father of two, conservative voice, pro-life, campus fixture, his life was ended in a brutal act of political violence that shakes us to the core. Words can’t capture the grief spreading across America. We pray. We mourn. His was a young life, standing on his beliefs who engaged our young people with ideas, truth and logic. Only, those who would rather hear the fallacies of their own hearts and believe them, took his stance as a threat to their self-proclaimed omnipotence. I can’t help but to think that some who are expressing outrage are denying their dark hearts.
Within hours, some on the left ignited the worst kind of rhetorical spin. On MSNBC, political analyst Matthew Dowd, formerly ABC political director, said, “He’s been one of the most divisive, especially divisive younger figures in this, who is constantly sort of pushing this sort of hate speech or sort of aimed at certain groups. And I always go back to hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions.” He implied Kirk provoked his own fate. Breitbart reported that House Democrats objected to a request for prayer after Kirk’s assassination. This speaks volumes. Law enforcement finds ‘transgender and anti-fascist ideology’ on Charlie Kirk assassin’s cartridges

Law enforcement have found a rifle near the campus where conservative influencer Charlie Kirk was shot, with cartridges all “engraved” with expressions of “transgender and anti-fascist ideology.”
Steven Crowder posted to X Thursday morning an exclusively obtained email from the American Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) sharing internal findings about the weapon used by Kirk’s yet-unidentified assassin.
“The suspect fired one shot from an elevated position on a rooftop in an adjacent building on the campus and surveillance video shows the suspect, jumping off and fleeing the area on foot,” read the ATF message.
Law enforcement, including ATF, “located an older model imported Mauser .30-06 caliber bolt action rifle wrapped in a towel in a wooded area near the campus,” in a location that “appears to match the suspects route of travel,” the message continues.
“The spent cartridge was still chambered in addition to three unspent rounds at the top fed magazine. All cartridges have engraved wording on them, expressing transgender and anti-fascist ideology.”
Utah Governor Spencer Cox denounced Kirk’s murder as a “political assassination.”
Former FBI Agent Stuart Kaplan believes Kirk’s assassination has the markings of a “professional hit.”
“This was a very well-planned, very well-orchestrated plot that was put in motion days before. This individual had a plan of escape … this assassination of Charlie Kirk, to me, is indicative of a professional hit,” said Kaplan on Fox News.

Charlie Kirk's casket to be flown on Air Force Two from Utah to Arizona

The second family will be flying to Salt Lake City, Utah, to visit Charlie Kirk’s family and a number of close friends on Thursday, Sept. 11, a source familiar told Fox News Digital.
The Turning Point USA founder, 31, was fatally shot Wednesday while speaking at Utah Valley University.
Kirk's casket will be flown back on Air Force Two to Phoenix, Arizona, likely on Thursday night, along with his family and friends, according to the source.
Turning Point USA is headquartered in Phoenix. Friends and followers gathered at the headquarters on Wednesday night for a vigil.
Vice President JD Vance shared a deeply personal remembrance of Kirk in a lengthy post on X, honoring his late friend as a man of courage, faith and profound loyalty.
Kirk was a close confidant of Vance’s, both personally and politically. Their friendship stretched from early skepticism about Donald Trump in 2016 to the heights of the 2024 campaign trail.
Vance’s candid social media reflection gave a rare glimpse into Kirk’s influence — not only on the conservative movement but also on the very formation of the Trump-Vance team.
"Charlie was one of the first people I called when I thought about running for Senate in early 2021," Vance wrote. "We talked through everything, from the strategy to the fundraising to the grassroots of the movement he knew so well. He introduced me to some of the people who would run my campaign and also to Donald Trump Jr."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Kirk was a “lion-hearted friend of Israel,” who “was murdered for speaking truth and defending freedom.” Kirk “fought the lies and stood tall for Judeo-Christian civilization,” the Israeli prime minister said. “I spoke to him only two weeks ago and invited him to Israel. Sadly, that visit will not take place.”
Danny Danon, Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, stated that Kirk, 31, was “a friend and an exceptional leader,” whose “unique voice influenced many young people in the United States and left a lasting mark on an entire generation.”
The American Jewish Committee stated that it is “heartbroken and outraged by the murder of Charlie Kirk and this horrific act of senseless violence.”
Morton A. Klein, national president of the Zionist Organization of America, stated that Kirk was “a great man, a personal friend and an ally who loved Israel and the Jewish people.”
“I had the pleasure of walking all over Jerusalem with him and sitting for an incredible interview with him on his radio show, where for over an hour, Charlie asked great questions to better understand the Arab-Islamist war against Israel, the Jewish people and the West,” he said. (Klein said that he asked Kirk to speak at the upcoming ZOA national gala, and the latter was “thrilled and was excitedly looking forward.”)
“Charlie was extremely smart, knowledgeable, well-read and an authoritative, yet genuine, voice who could speak on virtually every subject, capable of responding to those debating and critiquing him,” Klein said.
The Republican Jewish Coalition said it is “shocked and grieving at the murder of our dear friend Charlie Kirk.”
“Political violence has no place in this country. There is no reason, no excuse, no political view, no issue that justifies violence against a fellow American,” the RJC said. “Charlie has been a shining light in these troubled times for the American Jewish community, and we are deeply saddened at his passing. All people of goodwill must condemn this horrific murder and demand justice for Charlie.”

One of SpaceX's broadband-beaming Starlink satellites has been captured overflying a top-secret airbase in China that was photographed by a private American Earth-observation satellite.
The unexpected satellite alignment above the Dingxin Airbase in the Gobi Desert of western China took place on Aug. 21 and created a range of unusual effects in the high-resolution image.
The visible-light photo, taken by one of Maxar Technologies' WorldView Legion satellites orbiting at an altitude of 312 miles (518 kilometers), shows what appears to be a fleet of fighter jets resting on the ramp adjacent to the runway surrounded by brown, arid soil. In the upper-left corner of the image, a ghostly oblong shadow appears in the picture with a silver-colored middle section and two darker-colored arms stretching to the sides.
The photobomber is a satellite — specifically, one of SpaceX's Starlink internet satellites, which Maxar identified as spacecraft number 33828. The mirror effect comes from a trio of rainbow-colored reflections of the satellite, which enliven the drab desert surface below. (Space.com) Read More
