Kennedy Center's pro-faith shift reflects a 'new day in America,' conservative leaders say
The Kennedy Center’s new openness to showcasing pro-faith and pro-family stories is a sign of a Christian and conservative revival happening in America, conservative leaders said last week. Top conservative and Christian figures spoke to Fox News Digital at the world premiere of the Christian documentary "The Revival Generation" on Aug. 27. They said the film debuting at the Kennedy Center heralds a cultural reinvigoration of the U.S. that values families and people of faith. "I think it's a new day in America," Dr. Ben Carson said during a red-carpet interview ahead of the film’s premiere.

President Donald Trump appointed himself as chairman of the Kennedy Center in February and fired some of the center's previous board members. At the time, he declared they did "not share our Vision for a Golden Age in Arts and Culture." He replaced them with 14 other members, including allies such as second lady Usha Vance and "God Bless the USA" singer Lee Greenwood.  In a Truth Social post at the time, he also called out "woke" content hosted by the center prior to the shakeup.

The president appointed his envoy for special missions, Ric Grenell, head of the Kennedy Center as well. Ahead of the premiere of "The Revival Generation," Grenell shared a video message laying out his vision for the arts center under its new board. He declared that faith-based content will be featured at the Kennedy Center going forward. "One important aspect of the arts is to bring faith-based and family-based programming that speaks to the human spirit, that reflects the enduring hope of the American story to this place," he said. - Abba, we CELEBRATE this "New Day" at the Kennedy Center highlighting faith-based programs by encouraging pro-family and conservative views. We are grateful for President Trump and Richard Grenell, appointed President of the Kennedy Center, in their efforts to bring transformation. We have joyful hearts in the news of the recent premiere of "The Revival Generation",  a documentary depicting Holy Spirit Revival among Gen Z students at college campuses! In Jesus' Name, we declare a new beginning of RESTORATION for America as Christian values are honored, bringing hope, revival and a thirst for God's Holy Ways across our nation! In the powerful blood of Yeshua, we pray- Amen and Amen.

Erika Kirk delivers moving tribute to husband, Charlie: 'I will never let your legacy die'

Erika Kirk, the widow of the late Charlie Kirk, gave an emotional tribute to her husband and declared that his mission will not end at Turning Point USA's headquarters Friday. It was her first public statement since her husband's assassination on Wednesday at Utah Valley University.

"To everyone listening tonight across America, the movement my husband built will not die," Kirk said. "It won't. I refuse to let that happen. … No one will ever forget my husband's name. And I will make sure of it. It will become stronger. Bolder. Louder and greater than ever. My husband's mission will not end. Not even for a moment.

"My husband's voice will remain, and it will ring out louder and more clearly than ever. And his wisdom will endure."

She delivered a steely message to the "evildoers responsible" for her husband's death, proclaiming that they "have no idea what they have done." (Fox News) Please read all of

- “So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11)

Erika Kirk's first speech since husband's assassination sparks massive TPUSA chapter surge nationwide

Turning Point USA leaders announced the organization received 18,000 new chapter requests after founder Charlie Kirk's wife, Erika, addressed the nation for the first time since her husband's assassination.

Republican Minnesota state Rep. Elliott Engen shared a screenshot Saturday of a conversation with a TPUSA leader, where they said they had received 18,000 requests to start chapters at colleges and high schools.

Prior to Erika's speech, TPUSA reported having 9,000 college chapters and 1,100 high school chapters.

"This is the Turning Point" the TPUSA leader wrote in the text exchange. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Lord, we thank You that Turning Point is surging. We pray that the anointing carried by Charlie Kirk will bring about a “surge” also in Your Kingdom. Let truth prevail against the evil of our day.

- “And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18)

Who is Erika Kirk?
What to know about the late Charlie Kirk's widow from their love story to his legacy

Erika Kirk, the widow of Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk, has lived much of her adult life in the public eye — first as Miss Arizona USA, later as a ministry leader and entrepreneur, and most recently as a wife and mother who shared her husband’s outspoken Christian faith. Their love story, rooted in prayer and purpose, shaped not only their marriage but the movement he built, a legacy she now carries forward after his death.

Hours before her life changed forever, Erika Kirk, posted a Bible verse, Psalm 46:1, which says: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

A baptized Catholic who attended Notre Dame Preparatory High School in Scottsdale, Arizona, Erika Kirk currently hosts a podcast called "Midweek Rise Up." It's described on her website as a devotional series released every Wednesday, along with Monday Meditations, "to provide you that deep breath of, ‘God’s got this.’"

The website says each episode "is intentionally and prayerfully crafted with words of encouragement to push you, Biblical leadership to challenge you, and God-breathed Scripture to posture your heart for the best that’s yet to come."

Erika and Charlie met in 2018 and then had a "very long dinner." Charlie said that he knew "almost immediately" that she was the one.

Erika posted a selfie of her and Charlie on Sept. 5, 2023, marking five years since the two met. She wrote, "5 years ago today, we sat inside Bill's Burgers in NYC deep in conversation and banter over theology, philosophy, and politics and at the end, you paused, looked at me and said, ‘I'm going to date you.’"

Both Erika and Charlie spoke openly about the importance of dating with intention, something they said they did when they met.

Charlie proposed to Erika in December 2020. She captioned photos of the engagement on Instagram, "When God writes your love story, you get to marry your best friend." The two married less than a year later in May 2021.

In a post with their wedding photos, Erika wrote, "To the man I’ve been praying for, before I ever met you. [T]o the man that I honor, respect, and deeply cherish. [T]o the man that leads in ways that remind me of the leaders before our time and [whose] confidence in God’s word reminds me of Daniel... [T]o the man that I am immeasurably blessed to be able to call my husband. My CJK. I love you, [Charlie]." (Fox News) Read more here.

- Holy Lord, we pray for Your Presence to bring Erika closer and closer to You. We ask that she be comforted by Your Spirit and anointed to carry on as a mother and whatever she puts her hand to do.

“Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!” (Psalm 90:17)

Alleged Kirk Assassin Had 'Trans Partner' He Was Living With - Partner Fully Cooperating With Authorities
New media reports indicate that Tyler Robinson, the suspect in the murder of Charlie Kirk, was living with a man who considered himself transgender and identified as a woman. At this point, the full extent of their relationship is unclear, although the New York Post referred to the individual living with Robinson as a “transgender partner” based on information from what the New York Post said was a law enforcement source.

Brooke Singman of Fox News posted a similar report on X. “Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson lived with his transgender partner, sources tell me,” she posted. “The individual, who is a male transitioning to a female, is fully cooperating with the FBI,” she wrote. “Sources tell me the FBI had texts and other communications between Robinson and the individual that helped FBI authorities solidify that Robinson was indeed the shooter,” she posted.

The New York Post also noted that the individual was cooperating with authorities. The individual told authorities that a contact named “Tyler” shared information with the roommate about bullet casings similar to those found at the scene of the shooting and also mentioned the “need to retrieve a rifle from a drop point.”

“Messages from contact Tyler also mention that he had changed outfits,” according to an affidavit relating messages shared on Discord. The messages were considered important enough that authorities used them in charging Robinson with aggravated murder.
(The Western Journal) Read more here.
- Lord, it is no surprise that the suspect was so hostile toward Charlie, since he was living with a trans partner. Holy God of Truth, we pray that You will convict all who live in sin of their situation and bring a mighty move of repentance across the nation. Thank You that this man is cooperating with authorities, even if the suspect may not be doing so. Bring a new life where death has reigned.

- “Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” (Galatians 5:19-21)
FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. IDF braces for Hamas kidnapping attempts in Gaza City offensive, officers say
- Jerusalem Post

Hamas is expected to attempt to kidnap IDF soldiers as troops push into Gaza City, an action the terror organization considers a strategic achievement, officers in the IDF’s Southern Command estimate.

Regular and reserve ground forces were informed of the expected tactic as they completed a series of training sessions and refresher courses ahead of the push to capture Gaza City.

The terrorist organization is planning to attempt kidnappings once the mission to capture the core of Gaza City begins and forces enter and fight in densely populated areas. Therefore, troops have been instructed to strictly follow security protocols. (Read more)

2. Israeli ministers call for annexation after UN vote on ‘Palestine - JNS

Israeli ministers on Saturday night called on the government to annex Judea and Samaria, after the U.N. General Assembly voted to adopt the so-called New York Declaration on the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine, which outlines the implementation of a two-state solution and the path towards recognition of a Palestinian state.

“The fact that a diplomatic attack on Israel is met with Israeli silence—is unacceptable and cannot continue,” said Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who is also a minister in the Defense Ministry responsible for overseeing civilian issues related to Judea and Samaria.

“France and other countries are openly acting against Israel. Israel must apply Israeli sovereignty as a preventive measure against the reckless attempt to establish a terror state in the heart of our land,” he added. (Read more)

3. IDF hits 500 Hamas targets amid push into Gaza City - JNS

The Israel Defense Forces is continuing widescale strikes on Hamas terrorist infrastructure across the Gaza Strip, hitting around 500 targets as part of “Operation Gideon’s Chariots II” amid a ground offensive into Gaza City.

This week, the IDF carried out five waves of strikes in Gaza City, with the first three concentrated on the Daraj Tuffah and al-Furqan neighborhoods, and the last two expanding to al-Shati and deeper into al-Furqan.

As part of the strikes, the IDF said it destroyed observation and sniper posts, buildings containing tunnel shafts, weapons depots and other Hamas assets. (Read more)

4. Netanyahu Posts Message Appearing to Confirm Hamas Leaders Survived Doha Strike - Algemeiner

i24 News – In a statement posted to social media on Saturday evening, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the Qatar-based leadership of Hamas, reiterating that the jihadist group had to regard for the lives of Gazans and represented an obstacle to ending the war and releasing the Israelis it held hostage.

The wording of Netanyahu’s message appeared to confirm that the strike targeting the Hamas leaders in Doha was not crowned with success.

“The Hamas terrorists chiefs living in Qatar don’t care about the people in Gaza,” wrote Netanyahu. “They blocked all ceasefire attempts in order to endlessly drag out the war.” He added that “Getting rid of them would rid the main obstacle to releasing all our hostages and ending the war.”

Israel is yet to officially comment on the result of the strike, which has incurred widespread international criticism. (Read more)

5. After Doha strike, Egypt calls to form Arab NATO - World Israel News

Egypt is pushing for the formation of a united Arab military force after Israel’s airstrike on a gathering of senior Hamas terrorists in Qatar last week.

According to a report by the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi is seeking support among Arab leaders for a decade-old plan to form a pan-Arab military organization modeled after the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

The plans for a Joint Arab Force date back to March 2015, after a civil war broke out in Yemen. The force was envisioned at the time both as a mechanism for maintaining regional stability — by creating a broad coalition to confront rebel forces and terrorist groups — and as a means of creating a pan-Arab collective defense, deterring attacks by non-Arab states.

The plans were shelved in 2016 after no agreement could be reached regarding the mandate of the new force, its finances, its command structure, and the levels of troop contributions by member states. (Read more)

1. 30 Children Rescued in San Antonio as Federal Task Force Targets Human Trafficking Network - Breitbart

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, working hand in hand with the San Antonio Police Department, located 30 missing children. Investigators also opened five new human trafficking cases during a two-week operation dubbed “Operation Lightning Bug.”
The operation, carried out from July 28 through August 15, focused resources to review every missing juvenile listed in the Texas Crime Information Center and National Crime Information Center databases for the greater San Antonio area. The multi-law enforcement agency task force compiled intelligence that was used to create operational plans that ultimately led to the recovery of the children and struck a blow to human trafficking activity in the Alamo city area.
On Wednesday, Deputy U.S. Marshal Jose Nunez, announced the results of the operation that led to the rescue of the missing children and evidence that led to the newly opened human trafficking investigations.
In addition to the location of the missing children, Nunez reported that the task force executed nine felony arrest warrants, made three arrests for harboring a runaway, provided victim services for six trafficking survivors, and contacted more than 120 additional missing juveniles, encouraging to return home.
As juveniles were recovered, San Antonio Police Department Special Victims Unit detectives conducted interviews to identify potential victimization. Survivors received immediate access to victim services through partner organizations, including Health and Human Services. This ensured recovery efforts extended beyond rescue to long-term safety and stability according to Nunez. (Read more)
- Holy Father, we thank You for the recovery of these children. We pray that the perpetrators of child trafficking be held accountable for their crimes and ask for justice in this matter.

2. FBI Searches For Foreign National Allegedly Involved In $34 Million COVID-19 Relief Fraud Scheme - Daily Caller

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced its search for a Jamaican national wanted on federal charges for her alleged involvement in a $34 million COVID-19 relief fraud scheme.
Florida-based 40-year-old Elaine Angene Escoe made the FBI’s most wanted list after failing to appear at a scheduled court hearing on June 5, according to a statement released by the bureau Friday.
Escoe is charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud, conspiracy to commit money laundering, wire fraud, concealment of money laundering and transactional money laundering, according to the press release.
Escoe allegedly belongs to a crew that submitted more than 90 fraudulent applications for funds from the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL), Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) and Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG) between May 2020 and November 2021, according to the FBI’s poster. (Read more)

3. Judge allows ICE to continue courthouse arrests in New York City following legal challenge - Fox News

A federal judge ruled on Friday ICE agents can continue making courthouse arrests in New York City, shutting down a challenge brought by the ACLU and immigrant rights groups.

District Judge P. Kevin Castel, a George W. Bush appointee, found there was not enough evidence to suggest that ICE's courthouse arrest policy changes were "unexplained, arbitrary and capricious" after 2021 guidance allowed arrests at or near immigration courts.

Noting the 2025 guidance is more "expansive and permissive," Castel acknowledged ICE made the changes because local correctional facilities and prisons, which are considered "safe" locations due to security screenings, are not available due to state and local policies regarding immigration detainers. (Read more)

- Thank You, Lord for this ruling. We pray that ICE will be protected, and that criminals who try to evade capture will be caught. May Your righteousness and truth reign over all that these agents do.

4. AG Letitia James slapped with illegal-fence ticket for NYC brownstone at center of mortgage fraud probe – New York Post

Embattled New York Attorney General Letitia James better mend fences — or pay up.
James is set to appear before an administrative law judge Oct. 8, where she faces up to $500 in fines for having a 5-foot, 6-inch high fence in front of her multi-family home in the Clinton Hill Historic District.
The brownstone is the focus of a federal mortgage fraud investigation.
The city Buildings Department slapped the far-left pol with the summons July 23 after fielding at least three anonymous complaints since April which claimed the black iron fence exceeded the 4-foot height limit, records show. (Read more)

Turning Point USA announces massive public memorial service for Charlie Kirk at Arizona football stadium

Turning Point USA announced Saturday that a massive public memorial service for its founder Charlie Kirk will be held next weekend to honor the life and legacy of the "American legend."

The celebration of life — "Building a Legacy, Remembering Charlie Kirk" — will take place on Sunday, Sept. 21, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona

The stadium, home to the NFL's Arizona Cardinals, has the capacity to host 63,400 people — which can be expanded to 73,000 for "mega-events," according to its website.

President Donald Trump said that he plans to attend Kirk’s services in Arizona.

"Join us in celebrating the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Charlie Kirk, an American legend," Turning Point USA posted to X Saturday afternoon. "The morning of Sunday, September 21, at State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals, in Glendale, AZ."

Doors for the event will open at 8 a.m. local time, and the program will begin at 11 a.m., according to the website created for the memorial. Interested attendees can register online, and the event is first come, first served.

A tribute posted on the memorial's website describes Kirk's dedication to his faith, family and fight for America's future. Kirk founded Turning Point USA as an 18-year-old in a garage in Lemont, Illinois, later growing it into "one of the most powerful grassroots movements in America," the tribute writes. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Father God, we thank You that this huge event is being planned for Celebration of Life, honoring the life of Charlie Kirk. We lift up all who are involved in orchestrating this service, and we ask that those who will be speaking would be equipped to release words from Your Throne of Grace. In Your Name, Abba, we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

- "Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor." (Romans 13:7)
Christian leaders mourn 'incredible loss' of Charlie Kirk
Christians are in mourning over the "incredible loss" of Charlie Kirk, who was shot dead at a university campus in Utah on Wednesday.

Christian author and broadcaster Eric Metaxas said it was "not too soon" to call Kirk a "martyr" after he was assassinated while talking to students at Utah Valley University.
"It's not too soon to say it: Charlie Kirk is a martyr. He was killed for his faith in Jesus, which was behind everything he believed politically and otherwise," said Metaxas. "We must all know that. He wasn't merely a political activist. It all came out of his faith in Jesus Christ." He ended his statement with an appeal to people to "turn to Jesus".

Conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation echoed these sentiments, saying: "It is providential that the organization that Charlie founded and so bravely led was named Turning Point. "His martyrdom must be a turning point for our country.”  It added that Kirk had made "immense contributions to the conservative movement and our country".

American evangelist Franklin Graham remembered Kirk as a man who "loved the Lord Jesus Christ". He asked people to pray for his wife and two young children. "What a tragedy," said Franklin. "This young man loved his country and invested his time and energy in trying to make it the best it could be. "He stood boldly for conservative values and defended free speech for all of us. Most importantly, Charlie loved the Lord Jesus Christ. (Christian Today) Read more here.
- Holy Lord, we thank You for the life of Charlie Kirk and his impact worldwide. May this impact be preserved for decades to come.

- “And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers.” (1Thessalonians 2:13)
UN General Assembly Passes Resolution to Establish Palestinian State* (If Hamas Leaves)
The United Nations (UN) General Assembly voted to pass a resolution Friday to establish a Palestinian State — if and when Hamas leaves power in Gaza, which is a condition the UN has no ability to enforce.
As Breitbart News reported earlier:
The so-called “New York Declaration” would recognize a Palestinian state, even though Palestinians have made no commitment to democracy, have refused to negotiate key issues with Israel, and still hold hostages in flagrant violation of international law.
The text of the declaration reads like a wish list: a democratic state, elections within a year, and the release of hostages — as if Hamas would agree to these terms.

The Times of Israel reported:
One hundred and forty-two countries vote in favor of the non-binding resolution enshrining the New York Declaration, which also calls on Hamas to release all hostages and condemns the terror group’s October 7 onslaught.
Joining Israel and the United States in opposing the resolution were Argentina, Hungary, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay and Tonga. Twelve countries abstained.
The resolution is separate from a separate meeting to declare a Palestinian state — which happens to be scheduled for September 22, coinciding with the Jewish New Year.
(Breitbart) Read more here
- Lord, we ask that all attempts to recognize a nonexistent country be rejected.  We pray for Your Sovereign protection over Israel and the US as many nations seek to listen to the wrong voices in this matter.

- “But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.” (2 Thessalonians 3:3)
And Now . . . Lion of Judah: ROAR!!!!
"The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man;
He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies."

Archaeologists unearth 3,000-year-old structure from the Bible in Jerusalem

Archaeologists have recently unearthed a massive structure in Jerusalem that is referenced in two books of the Bible. The discovery includes the ruins of an ancient moat, constructed over 3,000 years ago in the City of David, one of history's oldest cities.

For a century and a half, researchers have been working to confirm that the city was divided into two distinct areas, as described in the Bible. With the unearthing of the moat, they have provided concrete evidence that the southern residential region was separated from the upper city in the north by this formidable structure.

The moat itself was about 30 feet deep and nearly 100 feet wide, with steep cliffs on either side, making it nearly impossible to traverse. According to the team, these findings confirm that the moat was constructed during the Iron Age, the same period when the Book of Kings and the Book of Samuel were written. These texts describe the division of the City of David into two parts: Ophel and Millo.

"This is a dramatic discovery that opens up a renewed discussion about the terms from the biblical literature that refer to the topography of Jerusalem, such as the Ophel and the Millo," stated researchers from the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA). These terms, Ophel and Millo, are found in scripture to describe different sections of the City of David.

One reference appears in the first Book of Kings (11:27), where King Solomon is credited with building a structure called the "Millo." The passage reads: "…Solomon built up the 'Millo' and closed up the breach in the wall of the City of David his father." (The Brighter Side) Read More
