JD Vance Hosts Charlie Kirk Show from
White House

Vance opened the show by stating that he was “filling in for somebody who cannot be filled in for” after Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was assassinated in a horrific act of political violence last week. He acknowledged the pain that Kirk’s family, those in the administration, and the country have gone through since Wednesday, before noting “every single person in this building” owes something to Kirk: He was a joyful warrior for our country. He loved America. He devoted himself tirelessly to making our country a better place. He was a critical part of getting Donald Trump elected as president, getting me elected as vice president, and so much of our success over the last seven months is due to his efforts, his staffing, his support, and his friendship.
Vance hailed Kirk as the most intelligent political operative he had ever met and a “fearless debater” who inspired young Americans by going into “hostile places” to discuss ideas: One thing that’s hit a lot of those young Americans over the last week was how Charlie was there for them when others were not. FBI Director Kash Patel reveals details about alleged Kirk assassin's texts
|
|
FBI Director Kash Patel shared new details Monday night about the prosecution of Tyler Robinson, the man accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk on Sept. 10. Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi appeared on "Hannity," with the FBI director first outlining evidence investigators are piecing together.
"We are going to be interviewing scores of people, on not just these chats on Discord, but any communications that this individual had," Patel told Sean Hannity. Patel confirmed that investigators had confiscated electronics from the suspect's Utah home and that of his alleged partner.
"We’ve seized multiple electronic devices from the home of the suspect and his romantic partner. We’ve got computers, we’ve got laptops, gaming systems, cell phones," Patel explained.
"The evidence and information will come out. I won’t stylize the evidence, but I will say what was found in terms of information was a text message exchange where he, the suspect, specifically stated that he had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and he was going to do that." When pressed on the suspect's motive, Patel noted words attributed to him: "And when he was asked why, he said some hatred cannot be negotiated with."
Bondi also weighed in on the pursuit of justice against the suspect accused of murdering Kirk. Bondi explained that state prosecutors in Utah have jurisdiction over the suspect. "They will indict most likely tomorrow or this week, and they will indict him for first-degree murder," Bondi said, suggesting that formal charges could be imminent.
Bondi also addressed speculation over whether the suspect could face the death penalty, a possibility under Utah law. "It’s too soon right now, legally to say, but I think the governor has said that they want to seek the death penalty, which is very real in Utah, and they still have the firing squad in Utah," she told Hannity. White House Requests Additional $58 Million for Security for Executive, Judicial Branches

Meanwhile, a review of security for Congress members is underway.
|
|
|
The White House has requested an additional $58 million for security for the executive and judicial branches in the wake of the assassination of conservative icon Charlie Kirk, a White House spokesperson told The Epoch Times on Sept. 15.
For the 2026 fiscal year, the judiciary has requested $892 million for security for courthouses, including a $91 million increase for video, screening, emergency, and other critical systems and equipment and $7 million for strengthening courthouses against external attacks.
Overall, the judiciary has requested a 9.3 percent increase over the $750.2 million allocated for the 2025 fiscal year. “Much of the requested increase is necessary to maintain current services, which include meeting government-wide obligations to fund previously-enacted federal employee pay increases and required adjustments to employee health benefit contributions; addressing non-pay inflation; and maintaining or replacing existing and outdated judicial facilities and infrastructure,” the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts stated.
In Congress, there is a review of security for members. “We’re in a deliberate review process right now to determine what measures are appropriate, how much we could allocate for that,” House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) told reporters on Sept. 11. “We’ve got to protect people who run for public office, or no one will, and that’s heavy on our hearts and minds as we also work through the trauma of what happened yesterday.”
In the executive branch, $107.9 billion was allocated for the 2025 fiscal year for the Department of Homeland Security, including $3.2 billion for the Secret Service. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

GOP Leaders Commemorate Charlie Kirk at Prayer Vigil

Republican leaders emphasized Kirk’s commitment to free speech and discussion.
|
|
Leading Republican congressmen hosted a prayer vigil on Sept. 15 in which they commemorated conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, who was recently assassinated.
Holding a candle, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) held a moment of silence before offering a prayer in the U.S. Capitol.
“We’re so deeply saddened by the untimely passing of our dear friend, Charlie Kirk,” Johnson said during the prayer. He added that there was a mixture of emotions that included encouragement that Kirk’s voice would not be silenced.
During his opening remarks, Johnson said Kirk would not want him and others to be overcome with despair but rather to honor his memory and “expand the legacy that he left behind.”
The vigil came nearly a week after Kirk, who founded Turning Points USA, was assassinated while taking questions during an event at Utah Valley University. Authorities have detained 22-year-old Tyler Robinson as the suspected shooter.
Kirk’s death has prompted an outpouring of support from leading Republicans, including President Donald Trump and cabinet secretaries. On the day of the vigil, Vice President JD Vance hosted “The Charlie Kirk Show,” which Kirk hosted on a regular basis before his death.
“The assassination of Charlie Kirk wasn’t just an attack on one individual,” House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) said.
“It was an attack on the traditional values that make our country—this great country—great: values of free speech, civil discourse, public debate, the ability to think independently and voice your opinions, exchange ideas, and even disagree with one another but to do so without fear of physical retribution.”
He added that Kirk created a movement that put those values into practice. Emmer then expressed concern about the future of the country.
“The fact that he got killed for it, and many Americans consequently celebrated his murder, begs the question: How did we get so far away from the values our nation was built upon?” he said. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

‘Gift to Hamas’: Trump administration blasts UN Palestinian statehood vote

The Trump administration condemned the Saudi and French-led push for Palestinian statehood at the United Nations on Friday after the General Assembly approved the "New York Declaration" by a vote of 142 in favor, with the U.S. and nine others voting against and 12 abstentions.
U.S. United Nations Counselor Morgan Ortagus condemned the vote.
"Make no mistake — this resolution is a gift to Hamas," she told members of the General Assembly.
"The United States will not participate in this insult to the victims of Oct. 7, but we will continue to lead real-world efforts to end the fighting and to deliver a permanent peace. Today’s resolution is yet another counterproductive gesture that only rewards Hamas, drags out the war and undercuts the very diplomatic efforts to free the hostages and end the suffering in Gaza."
A White House official told Fox News Digital after the vote, "As the President stated, he would be rewarding Hamas and would be hindering efforts to bring home the hostages if he recognizes a Palestinian state, and he doesn’t think they should be rewarded. So, he is not going to do that."
Proposed during a United Nations conference in July, the declaration is meant to chart what its sponsors describe as an "irreversible" path toward Palestinian statehood. It condemns Hamas for the Oct. 7 attacks, demands the release of hostages and calls for Hamas to relinquish control of Gaza and hand over its weapons to the Palestinian Authority.
In Paris, the French Foreign Ministry hailed the outcome, calling it a "historic vote" that demonstrated the determination of the international community to advance an "ambitious roadmap for peace and security for all in the region."
The ministry added that the declaration embodies unprecedented support for principles such as an immediate ceasefire, the release of hostages and the creation of a viable, sovereign Palestinian state and confirmed the process will continue at a follow-up conference in New York on Sept. 22, to be attended by President Emmanuel Macron.
Israel's U.N. Ambassador Danny Danon called Friday’s vote "theater," warning, "The only beneficiary is Hamas. When terrorists are the ones cheering, you are not advancing peace; you are advancing terror." (Fox News) Read more here.

1. IDF intercepts Houthi missile after sirens triggered in central Israel

The IDF intercepted a missile fired by the Houthis in Yemen on Tuesday evening, the military said, after alarms were triggered across central Israel.
Air raid sirens sounded in Tel Aviv's outer cities, around Ben-Gurion Airport, in Jerusalem, and in the surrounding areas.
The attack comes after a series of strikes by the military at the Hodeidah Port, with Houthi-linked media stating that at least 12 strikes were recorded.
The IDF explained that the attack aims to enforce a maritime blockade on the Houthis and prevent the smuggling of weapons to the terror organization. (Read more)

The IDF struck the Houthi-controlled Hodeidah Port in Yemen on Tuesday, which is the main supply port of the Houthi terror regime, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement.
"The strike was carried out in response to the repeated attacks by the Houthi terrorist regime against the State of Israel, including the launch of UAVs and surface-to-surface missiles towards the State of Israel," read a statement shared by the IDF.
Al Masirah TV, a station affiliated with the Houthis, said that 12 Israeli strikes targeted the port's docks. (Read more)

3. Qatari PM says Israel must be ‘punished’ for strike, vows to continue ceasefire efforts - Times of Israel
Qatar’s prime minister accused Israel of “state terrorism,” and said its attack in Doha last week targeting Hamas’s leaders was “an attack on the principle of mediation itself,” but nevertheless vowed to continue efforts to reach a ceasefire.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, who is also Qatar’s foreign minister, made the remarks at a preparatory session on Sunday for the emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Doha, which was called for Monday in the wake of last week’s bombing. Israel has defended the September 9 strike, even as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hinted that it was not successful.
At Sunday’s meeting, foreign ministers of the participating nations came together to write a draft resolution to be adopted the following day. Thani, whose government has acted as a key mediator in ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, stressed that the moment had come for consequences to Israel’s attacks in the wider Middle East.

4. Israel arming thousands of Druze fighters in southern Syria - Israel Hayom
Israel is supplying weapons and paying salaries to thousands of Druze fighters in southern Syria, while Damascus, under US pressure, accelerates talks with Jerusalem over a possible security agreement that Syrian officials hope will secure the return of recently lost territory, Reuters reported Tuesday.
According to two senior Druze commanders and a Western intelligence source, Israel is providing military supplies, including arms and ammunition, to Druze militias in the Suwayda region in southwestern Syria. They said Israel is also paying salaries to many of the roughly 3,000 Druze fighters active there.
At the same time, four sources involved in the discussions told Reuters that Washington is pressing Syria and Israel to advance negotiations so that US President Donald Trump can announce a breakthrough at the upcoming United Nations General Assembly later this month. One Israeli security source said, "The US is pressuring Syria to move forward with the security deal. 5. Spain cancels $825 million Israeli rocket launcher deal - World Israel News
Spain has canceled a 700 million euro ($825 million) deal for Israeli-designed rocket launchers, deepening the leftist government’s hardline stance against the Jewish state over the war in Gaza.
Spain’s official public contracts platform registered the cancellation on Sept. 9. according to an official document seen Monday by AFP.
A day earlier, Spanish Prime Minister Sánchez presented nine harsh measures against Israel to “prevent genocide in Gaza,” a charge that Jerusalem and Washington vehemently deny.

2. Utah Authorities Announces Seven Charges Against Kirk Assassin Tyler Robinson – Will Seek Death Penalty - Gateway Pundit
Utah authorities on Tuesday announced seven charges against Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson. They will also be seeking the death penalty.
Tyler Robinson, 22, was taken into custody last Friday for assassinating TPUSA founder and conservative political activist Charlie Kirk during an event at Utah Valley University.
Robinson will be held without bail.
“I am filing a notice of intent to seek the death penalty. I do not take this decision lightly, and it is a decision I have made… based solely on the available evidence and circumstances and nature of the crime,” Utah County District Attorney Jeff Gray said during a press conference.
Robinson was charged with:
– Count 1: Aggravated murder (capital offense)
– Count 2: Felony reckless discharge of a firearm causing bodily injury
– Count 3: Felony obstruction of justice for hiding the firearm
– Count 4: Felony obstruction of justice for discarding the clothing he wore during the shooting
– Count 5: Witness tampering for asking roommate to delete incriminating messages
– Count 6: Witness temperating for demanding trans roommate stay silent, and not speak to police

3. Marxist LGBTQ Paramilitary Group in Utah Under Investigation by FBI Regarding Kirk Assassination as Group Leader’s Ties to State Department and United Nations are Revealed - The Gateway Pundit
A group under investigation by the FBI for having potential foreknowledge of Charlie Kirk’s assassination has a leader with some damning ties to both the federal government and the United Nations.
As The Gateway Pundit’s Cassandra MacDonald previously reported, The investigation into the assassination of Kirk has expanded to scrutinize pro-trans online communities to figure out if they helped him with the shooting — or at least heard it was going to happen.
One of the groups is a Marxist paramilitary organization called Armed Queers of Salt Lake City, which took down its Instagram after Kirk was killed.
In a video that has since been scrubbed, the leaders of the Armed Queers of Salt Lake City brag about a trip to communist Cuba in May of 2025, where they trained with militant Marxists to stage a “revolution in America” when they returned home. 4. FBI Director Shattered a Conspiracy Theory About Kirk’s Assassin - PJMedia
Since Charlie Kirk’s assassination, social media has been awash with conspiracy theories about the suspected shooter, Tyler Robinson. Disinformation is flying fast, and one claim that keeps resurfacing is that Robinson isn’t even the man we see in the security footage. These theories picked up steam after reports surfaced that Robinson lived with a transgender partner. This detail seems to have made some people desperate to deny his role in the killing, since it undercuts the left’s preferred narrative that Robinson was a MAGA supporter. It’s time to put those rumors to rest.
FBI Director Kash Patel was on Fox & Friends Monday morning, during which he confirmed that DNA on evidence collected at the scene matches Robinson’s.
“And I can report today that the DNA hits from the towel that was wrapped around the firearm and the DNA on the screwdriver are positively processed for the suspect in custody,” Patel revealed. (Read more)

5. ‘Demon-possessed’: Why spiritual darkness is behind recent killings - The Blaze
The past few weeks have seen multiple terrible tragedies — the Catholic school shooting, the stabbing of Iryna Zarutska, and the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

We pray for the church to rightly divide the word of truth in order to lead the charge against the demonic wickedness and witchcraft running roughshod in our schools and through technology. Holy One, You are greater and more powerful, so may we Your people learn our authority to push back this darkness by shining the glorious and mighty light of Christ upon it, in Jesus's holy name. An Illinois news anchor resigned from her position on Monday after allegedly being suspended for an on-air Charlie Kirk tribute.
Beni Rae Harmony told viewers in the "non-partisan tribute" on Friday that it is "okay" for people to grieve Kirk's death and to "lean on your neighbors, speak up for what you believe in, I don't care what it is."
Harmony says she was suspended from WICS, ABC's Springfield, Illinois affiliate, following the tribute.
"When conversations stop happening, when individuals become wordless, that's when violence begins," Harmony said in her on-air tribute, quoting Kirk. "So if you do one thing today, make it be with passion, with conviction, stand up for your friends, stand up for your beliefs and speak loudly even if your voice shakes. A Tragic National Harbinger

The tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk has revealed much about the state of our nation. Yes, Kirk was a public figure, but also a husband, father, and fellow citizen. His death should have inspired sympathy, even from critics of his politics. Instead, thousands took to social media to mock, ridicule, and celebrate his murder. That so many would cheer the death of a man simply because of his beliefs is a sobering reminder of how far society has fallen from even the most basic standards of decency. Scripture warns that when people do what is right in their own eyes, the result is corruption, chaos, and grief. Sadly, we are living in that reality. This single event is no doubt a national harbinger of a country at a crossroads.
The sheer number of celebratory posts was staggering. From cheer coaches to school board members, from employees at companies to ordinary citizens, many proudly displayed their joy that a man had been assassinated for his beliefs. Videos and memes were shared openly, mocking Kirk’s wife and family. Social media, once intended to connect communities, has become a tool for hate and destruction. What used to be whispered in dark corners is now shouted from digital rooftops without shame. The willingness of thousands to revel in another’s murder shows not only the hardness of hearts, but also the presence of a darker, more sinister cultural current rising within our nation. Read More

The Pain of a Parent: How the Robinsons’ Courage Led to Their Son’s Capture

There are only two families on earth who understand the truly nightmarish pain of September 10. While Charlie Kirk’s wife, children, and parents bear an unspeakable grief, made all the more gut-wrenching by the violent and public way he died, there’s a couple in Utah living with another kind of anguish — the unimaginable suffering that comes when your son is responsible.
No one raises a child thinking they’ll be a killer. Like the rest of the world, Matt and Amber Robinson were probably horrified at the news of Charlie’s assassination. They must have reeled from the footage with the same revulsion and disbelief as tens of millions of Americans who were stunned at the savage way his bright light was snuffed out. And like any mom and dad of three good sons, it would have never crossed their minds that this massive manhunt would lead straight to their door.
Those were the blissful hours when the Robinsons didn’t know life was about to change; when they didn’t realize that the family they’d built was about to come crashing down. These were the moments before reporters were on their lawns, before their happy Facebook photos became headline news, before sirens showed up to take the first child they’d held in their arms away. . .
Who can imagine, in that first grainy image of the shooter, the paralyzing fear of recognizing his face — of knowing 22 years of its contours and expressions. Or turning to your wife with a look of unfathomable loss, realizing there was no going back to what was. But even then, at their darkest, most soul-crushing moment, they did the hardest thing a parent could do: they turned their son in. . .
At a Sunday’s gathering to pray for the country, a woman named Diana laid out large baskets on a table with multicolored pens and paper. Tacked to the top of one was a sign that read “Prayers for the Kirk Family,” and another right next to it, “Prayers for the Robinson Family.” As shocking as it’s been for their small town, most people can’t believe that Matt and Amber had the strength to make the “unbelievable decision” to bring their son to justice. “I’m very grateful they did that, and I have the utmost sympathy for his family,” Melissa Tate reflected. “I can’t even imagine what they’re going through right now.”
What they’re going through is the ultimate reminder of our humanness, our fallenness, our desperate need for the love and mercy of a Savior. And no matter what they or we are tempted to believe, there is no perfect home, no perfect parent, no insulation from the darkness and destruction Satan is so desperate to inflict. And so we pray. Not just for the Kirks, whose trauma and anguish are inconceivable, but for the Robinsons — who also know the heartbreak of a son never coming home, but only because he chose it.
May God, in His infinite compassion, draw near to them both.

DOJ Recommends Detransitioner Bill

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has approached the issue of gender transition procedures for minors from a unique angle, transmitting a legislative proposal to Congress last Wednesday. The bill aims to help detransitioners seek justice, and it applies only to circumstances in which the federal government has clear jurisdiction.
The legislation forbids doctors, hospitals, and other health care providers to “directly engage in the planning, authorization, prescription, administration, or performance of any act constituting chemical or surgical mutilation,” including prescribing or administering puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, carrying out gender transition surgeries, or knowingly coordinating any such treatments.
The legislation is enforced by allowing “an individual subjected as a child to chemical or surgical mutilation” to bring a civil action for damages in federal court.
Notably, the bill stipulates an unusually long statute of limitations. The minor may bring a suit “either within 25 years from the date of the eighteenth birthday … or within 4 years from the time the cost of a detransition treatment is incurred, whichever date is later.” The stated reason for this timetable is “because these decisions are often made by parents, or medical providers, on a child’s behalf, and because these actions often have long term effects that are not discovered until years after the medical actions have been taken.”
This language evidently reflects the influence of detransitioners, who have petitioned federal officials for justice but have found their efforts blocked by much shorter statutes of limitations. In fact, Attorney General Pam Bondi suggested as much in a press release. “The Department of Justice has heard from far too many families who have been devastated by mutilative medical procedures that fly in the face of basic biology,” she said.
The timetable in the federal bill would allow detransitioners to sue over the harm done to their bodies until at least the age of 43. (The Washington Stand) Read more here.

- Abba, thank You for the Department of Justice putting forth a bill that would stop any and all medical facilities and personnel from actively taking part in medical transitioning of an individual from planning to completion. Thank You that it provides many years between the medical completion of transitioning and the filing of suits for damages done to young children who couldn't understand what the ramifications of transitioning would be. Father God, we ask You to speak to the hearts of all US leadership who will be voting on this bill, give them Your eyes to see and understand Your vision of this demonic medical practice. Remind them Your word says that we were created male and female, not male/female, he/she/it, they/them/their. Father, You are God and You don't make mistakes. I ask You to intervene in the minds and hearts of those who see Your word as hate instead of truth, reveal Yourself to them, show them Your ultimate love for them and Your desire and plans for their lives. California Bill Stripping Away Parental Rights Reaches Newsom’s Desk

A bill in California that expands the list of individuals who could assume a “caregiver” role over children without requiring parental notification has passed the state legislature and now sits on Governor Gavin Newsom’s (D) desk for his possible signature. Parental rights advocates are urging Newsom to veto the measure, which they say further undermines the rights of parents as the primary educators and decision makers for their children.
The legislation, titled the “Family Preparedness Plan Act of 2025” (AB 495), was introduced in February by Assemblywoman Celeste Rodriguez (San Fernando-D) and touted as a way for illegal immigrant children whose parents are detained to be able to live with a “caregiver.” The legislation originally allowed not only for distant relatives to make critical medical and mental health decisions for a child, but also “nonrelative extended family members,” which could include (but was not limited to) “teachers, medical professionals, clergy, neighbors, and family friends.” Experts noted that this was “legal pathway for predators” to exploit the law by presenting the required affidavit to school and government authorities with false information in order to take custody-like control of a child.
After considerable pushback against the legislation from parental rights advocates, the “nonrelative” language was removed from the bill. But experts point out that the legislation still allows for an adult “who has ‘affinity’ with a child to the ‘fifth degree of kinship,’ including stepsiblings, to assume custody-like control through a one-page ‘Caregiver’s Authorization Affidavit.’” Jonathan Keller, who serves as president and CEO of the California Family Council, says that the legislation is still a huge threat despite the revisions.
“A large reason for that is because even though they officially have removed that language and they are claiming that it’s not going to allow nonrelatives, the fact remains, number one, that you still do not need a parental signature,” he explained to The Washington Stand. “So, I mean, yes, it’s great that it theoretically can’t just be a person off the street that can do it. But if you’re removing the signature, that is fundamentally still an assault and an attack on parental rights.” ...
Despite the public outcry over the bill, which has included staunch opposition from numerous parental rights organizations such as California Family Council, the Home School Legal Defense Association, and a 6,000-person rally at the state capitol in Sacramento, the measure sailed through California’s legislature and currently sits on Governor Newsom’s desk. Newsom has until the end of September to sign or veto the legislation.
As to whether or not Newsom is expected to sign the bill into law, Keller stated, “I would say we don’t want to take anything for granted either way. We would encourage everybody who has signed any of the petitions or who has called their legislators to call and contact the governor’s office and firmly request a veto.” (The Washington Stand) Read more.

Engineers unveil bonkers prototype for ‘crash-proof’ plane following Air India disaster

In the wake of the tragic Air India crash, engineers have designed a new AI-powered safety system to prevent future in-flight mishaps. What they came up with seems just plane ridiculous — an aircraft equipped with outside airbags — but it apparently could save lives.
The Michelin Man-esque anti-crash concept, dubbed Project REBIRTH, is a finalist for the prestigious James Dyson Award, which spotlights inventions that can change the world.
“Project REBIRTH is the first AI-powered crash survival system,” reads the description of the pillowy protective measure on the site. “It deploys smart airbags, impact-absorbing fluids, and reverse thrust mid-air — turning fatal crashes into survivable landings.”
AI sensors can reportedly detect when a crash is about to happen, prompting airbags to deploy and cocoon the fuselage, evoking a giant piece of popped popcorn. In theory, this protective padding ensures that the landing isn’t deadly or violent, regardless of the plane’s velocity.
The designers, engineers Eshel Wasim and Dharsan Srinivasan of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science’s Dubai campus, were reportedly inspired by the tragic Air India Flight 171 fiasco in June.
The 787-8 Dreamliner reportedly crashed in Ahmedabad — a city of about 5 million people — just 30 seconds after taking off en route to London, UK, killing all but one of the 242 people aboard.
“After the June 2025 Ahmedabad crash, my mother couldn’t sleep,” one of the creators wrote. “She kept thinking about the fear the passengers and pilots must have felt, knowing there was no way out. That helplessness haunted us. Why isn’t there a system for survival after failure?” Read More
