House Speaker Cancels Votes, Recesses Chamber Early
House Speaker Mike Johnson adjourned the lower chamber a day earlier than anticipated this week. The House of Representatives is now on a 7-week recess leading up to November’s midterm election. All the seats in the House are up for election every two years, and the representatives seeking reelection are heading back to their districts to campaign. The Senate, which returned Monday, will be in session for three weeks. (Read more here)

White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles announced that she is now cancer-free after fighting breast cancer. “Some personal news I’m grateful to share. After a medical appointment at the Mayo Clinic this week, my pathology results came back clear,” she wrote on X. “I am cancer free.”
“Thank you to my family, friends, doctors, and everyone who prayed for me, checked in, and supported me along the way,” Wiles continued. “A special thank you to President Trump for his unwavering support. I am deeply grateful and will continue to work to advance his America First Agenda.”
President Trump announced in March that Wiles was diagnosed with breast cancer. “Susie Wiles is an incredible Chief of Staff, a great person, and one of the strongest people I know but, unfortunately, she has been diagnosed with early stage breast cancer, and has decided to take on this challenge, IMMEDIATELY, as opposed to waiting,” he wrote on Truth Social. at the time. “She has a fantastic medical team, and her prognosis is excellent! Why the GOP May Defy History and Win the Midterms
|
|
Every talking head with a spreadsheet is already writing the obituary. The president’s party loses seats. Always. Average since 1930 is about 28 in the House and four in the Senate. Trump’s approval is underwater. The generic ballot has Democrats up by high single digits in some surveys and by a baker’s dozen in others.
Fine. Those charts were built for a country that no longer exists. In 2026 the old rules are antiques, and the GOP can still hold both chambers because the map, the product on the other side of the ballot, and the people who actually show up refuse to cooperate with the model.
In 2026, History Is the Past
Everything that once made sense in American politics has been stood on its head. The party of the working man now lectures the working man about his truck, his church, and his pronouns. The party that once claimed to hate corporate power is in bed with Big Tech, the universities, and the same foundations that write the talking points. “Democracy” now means you may vote, provided the result does not inconvenience the people who count themselves the grown-ups. Law and order became optional, then a punch line, then a crisis the same people swore they did not create.
The Maps Already Paid a Down Payment
Trump’s mid-decade redistricting fight was mocked as a democracy-ending tantrum until it worked. Fox News reported the new lines netted Republicans at least ten additional right-leaning House seats. California’s Prop 50 clawed some of that back. Missouri’s extra seat got tangled in court. The net is still a structural head start the generic ballot does not capture. Democrats do not need a vibe. They need five real districts. Those districts were drawn on purpose.
The Senate Math Is Brutal for the Left
Republicans start at 53–47. Democrats need a net four to run the chamber without Vice President Vance. That means winning red and red-leaning turf while defending what they already have. Texas, Ohio, Iowa, Alaska, and North Carolina are not Massachusetts. A national D+8 poll can coexist with a Republican Senate if the map is the map. It is.

Supreme Court Blocks Trump's Postal Service Rule for Mail-in Ballots for 2026 Midterm Elections

The nationwide injunction stands; the suspended rule would have required unique barcodes and scanner-ready envelopes.
The Supreme Court late on Sept. 14 declined to lift a nationwide injunction blocking a United States Postal Service (USPS) rule on federal ballot mail, leaving it on hold for the 2026 midterms.
The ruling in USPS v. California took the form of an unsigned order. “The Government is unlikely to succeed on the merits of its challenge to the District Court’s preliminary injunction,” the order said. “And the equitable factors applicable for obtaining emergency relief from this Court do not favor a stay.”
Justice Brett Kavanaugh filed a concurring opinion. Justice Samuel Alito filed a dissenting opinion, which was joined by Justice Clarence Thomas.
The Trump administration had filed an emergency application on Sept. 6, asking the justices to pause an injunction issued on Sept. 4 by U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani of Massachusetts. Her ruling extended a temporary restraining order she granted on Aug. 27.
The injunction blocked the mandatory parts of the Postal Service’s final rule published on Aug. 26 that implements Section 3 of President Donald Trump’s executive order 14399. That provision would assign federal agencies a larger role in who receives a mailed ballot and how those ballots are processed by the USPS. (The Epoch Times) Read more |

What to Know About the Battle Over Trump's Election Integrity Order and Midterms
|
|
President Donald Trump’s plan to tighten regulations on mail-in ballots remains blocked in the courts weeks before the midterms, after the Supreme Court on Sept. 14 declined to let a U.S. Postal Service (USPS) rule implementing the plan take effect.
This situation has prompted debate over how mail voting will unfold during the Nov. 3 midterm elections.
A federal judge in Boston, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, a federal judge in the nation’s capital, and now the Supreme Court have all left in place orders stopping the USPS from enforcing a postal rule from late August that would change how states mail ballots and to whom.
Democrats and legal experts have offered varying assessments as to whether Trump’s order will create chaos or help prevent fraud in the upcoming elections.
Here’s what to know.
Trump’s Order
Before the USPS published a final rule implementing provisions of Trump’s Executive Order 14399 that would assign federal agencies a larger role in who receives a mail ballot and how those ballots are processed by the postal service, the fight was over the executive order.
Section 2 directs the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), working with other federal agencies, to put together state-by-state lists of voting-age U.S. citizens and share them with the states. The order also instructs the Department of Justice (DOJ) to prioritize investigations and prosecutions of election officials who issue federal ballots to people the federal government determines ineligible.

Abba, Your son, Donald, needs Your help. He has been trying to create boundaries around how mail-in ballots are managed, hoping to stop all of the illegal ballots that are counted when they should not be included in voting totals. We ask You to do what the courts have blocked President Trump from doing, identify those filed illegally and ensure they are not counted. We ask Holy Spirit to highlight every illegal ballot and stop the enemy from destroying our elections. Dem Fundraising Giant ActBlue Accused of Fraudulent Donation "Cover up" in Explosive Report
|
|
ActBlue, which is used by a litany of high-profile Dems, is accused of accepting foreign donations. A Democrat fundraising giant used by the biggest players on the left is being accused of covering up the acceptance of fraudulent political donations and lying to Congress about its security standards.
Congressional Republicans are providing an update on their investigation of ActBlue — a platform for campaigns to raise money that's used by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, and the Democratic leaders of the House and Senate, among others — that alleges the company potentially accepted foreign contributions and concealed the evidence from the GOP's probe. ActBlue has previously denied any wrongdoing.
"The Committees’ oversight has found that ActBlue, in its own words, decided to take 'a more lenient approach' to fraud prevention in 2024, weakening its fraud-prevention policies at least twice even though internal assessments showed that these changes would result in a measurable increase in fraudulent contributions," the report said, citing an ActBlue staff report.
"Similarly, internal trainings directed ActBlue’s fraud prevention team to 'look for reasons to accept contributions' rather than to examine them closely for indicators of fraud — as required by federal regulation. ActBlue took this lax approach to fraud prevention even though it had detected at least 22 significant fraud campaigns on the platform in recent years, including several from foreign sources."
Republicans accused ActBlue of accepting "illegal foreign political donations" and the "subsequent cover-up" of that information. (The Epoch Times) Read more

We ask You to bring Your light into everything that is hidden in darkness, let Your light shine on information that reveals any contributions made by groups that do not fall within US laws. We ask Holy Spirit to speak to all those in ActBlue responsible for these decisions, give them eyes to see what they have done through Your eyes, make each aware of how You see their behavior in manipulating internal policies to create "reasons why" they allowed contributions that are "outside the lines" of legality and acceptability. We ask this in the name Yahweh Palet, The Lord, the Judge.

1. Netanyahu: ‘We'll bring down the Iranian regime, eliminate Hamas and deal with Hezbollah’- Israel National News
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared Thursday that Israel would continue its campaign against Iran and its terrorist proxies, saying that the Iranian regime would ultimately fall and that Israel would eliminate Hamas and continue acting against Hezbollah.
Speaking at the ISA 2025 Outstanding Personnel Ceremony at the President’s Residence, Netanyahu praised the Israel Security Agency’s operations in Judea and Samaria and the Gaza Strip, as well as its cooperation with the IDF and other security services.

2. 'Our fate will be decided in Jerusalem, not Ramallah': Palestinians look ahead to Israeli elections - Jerusalem Post
A little over a month before Israelis head to the polls, West Bank Palestinians are watching the run-up to the election with anticipation.
Some describe the Israeli vote as decisive for their future, stressing that the election in Israel at the end of October matters more to them than their own scheduled elections for the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC), which PA President Mahmoud Abbas has announced for November 28.
Ibrahim Za’oul is a Palestinian contractor from the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem, who employs local workers. The outcome of Israel’s election is critical for tens of thousands of Palestinian laborers, he told The Jerusalem Post.
Since Hamas's massacre on October 7, 2023, Israel has barred West Bank workers from entering the country, except for a limited number employed in sectors that are considered essential. (Read more)

3. Israeli defense minister: Gaza is realizing that ‘Hamas’ path has failed’

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said Thursday that public opinion in Gaza is turning away from Hamas, pointing to a new Palestinian survey showing limited support for “armed resistance.”
“Gaza is already realizing Hamas’s path has failed,” Katz said, citing a poll by the Jerusalem Media and Communication Center (JMCC).
The survey, released on September 8, found that 9.7% of respondents in Gaza identified “armed resistance” as the best means of achieving Palestinian national goals. (Read more)

4. UN votes to let Abbas address General Assembly by video after US visa ban

The United Nations General Assembly voted overwhelmingly Thursday to allow Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas to address next week’s high-level session by prerecorded video after the United States again denied visas to the PA delegation.
The resolution passed with 152 countries voting in favor, four abstaining and three voting against - the United States, Paraguay and Israel.
The measure follows Washington’s decision to extend visa sanctions against members of the Palestine Liberation Organization and Palestinian Authority officials, preventing Abbas from attending the General Assembly in person for a second consecutive year.
Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, said in response to the vote, “As long as Abbas continues his policy of making payments to terrorists and their families, he cannot expect the international community to simply ignore it. Instead of coming to New York, he will send videos. The responsibility for changing this policy is in his hands."

5. Israel, Morocco agree to upgrade diplomatic ties, expand flights at US-backed summit - Jerusalem Post
Israel, Morocco and the US held a trilateral diplomatic summit in New York on Wednesday, agreeing to advance the Abraham Accords.
The meeting of Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, and US Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz comes a day after the sixth anniversary of the Abraham Accords.
The three countries reaffirmed their commitment to steps including upgrading diplomatic relations between Israel and Morocco, raising the status of their respective diplomatic missions to embassies and appointing ambassadors. (Read more)

1. USDA Says Crackdown on SNAP Fraud Prevented $5.8 Billion in Taxpayer Losses – The Epoch Times
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins announced nearly $6 billion in total savings tied to efforts to eliminate fraud in the government’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
Rollins outlined the wins in a Sept. 15 post to X, saying that $5.8 billion in taxpayer losses have been prevented by the anti-fraud initiatives implemented during President Donald Trump’s second term.
This was done through the shutdown of nearly 1,840 illegal SNAP devices that processed Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards and the disqualification of 5,335 fraudulent retailers.
“Those who defraud SNAP are stealing from taxpayers and taking resources away from Americans who genuinely need assistance,” Rollins said. “We have zero tolerance for this abuse, and we will continue pursuing bad actors and protecting the integrity of the program.” Read more

Lord, as this fraud crackdown continues, we pray for truth to come forward and that those who are deceiving the American people will be found out, stopped, disqualified, and brought to justice.
Father God, we pray that only Your will be done in our nation concerning the Snap benefits and that only qualified citizens will receive any payouts and ask that Your guardian angels will keep watchful eyes over the good and the evil.

2. The Judeo-Christian "one-two" punch: Evangelical and Jewish Republicans Target the midterms - AllIsraelNews
With control of both the United States Senate and U.S. House hanging in the balance, Republicans are getting help from a powerful political combination: Evangelical Christians at the grassroots level and Jewish Republican organizations supplying money, endorsements and a muscular pro-Israel message. Call it the "one-two" punch of the 2026 midterms.
The two groups are not operating as a formal coalition. There is no evidence they are coordinating their activities. But their political footprints overlap in at least three main Senate races that could determine control of the Senate: Michigan, North Carolina and Ohio.

Father, as our U.S. Senate and House seats are hanging in the balance in the coming midterm elections, we pray for You to take control and push us across the finish line in favor of the Republican ticket!
As the Evangelical Republicans and Jewish Republicans come in unity together to get out the vote, we pray that eyes will be opened and truth will be the seed that stops all Democratic Socialists and Islamic organizations from winning elections in our states.
Thank You, Lord, for the Faith and Freedom Coalition that has issued a get out to vote for churchgoing voters to see how important it is for Christians to vote in the midterms to stop the radical left and extremists from taking over our nation and continuing in anti-semitism against our Jewish brothers and sisters.

The bill is headed to Trump’s desk for his signature after more than a year and a half of negotiating. The bill was championed by the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., who had worked across the aisle to get this passed, according to The Hill.
The House passed it by a vote of 262-159, with 203 Republicans and 58 Democrats voting for it, with seven Republicans and 152 Democrats opposing it. It also extends new sanctions on Iran. Read more

What: Yom Kippur fast day is the holiest day of the year, when we are closest to G‑d and to the essence of our souls. Yom Kippur means “Day of Atonement,” as the verse states, “For on this day He will forgive you, to purify you, that you be cleansed from all your sins before G‑d.”1
When: The 10th day of Tishrei (in 2026, from several minutes before sunset on Sunday, September 20, until after nightfall on Monday, September 21), coming on the heels of Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year, which is on the first and second days of Tishrei).
How: For nearly 26 hours the Jews “afflict our souls”: we abstain from food and drink, do not wash or apply lotions or creams, do not wear leather footwear, and abstain from marital relations. Instead, they spend the day in synagogue, praying for forgiveness. Read more

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. stood before the Republican Midterm Convention last Thursday night and delivered a message especially for those who traditionally vote Democrat. Kennedy spent most of his 72 years identifying with the Democratic Party. His father was a Democratic senator, attorney general and presidential candidate. His uncle was President John F. Kennedy. Yet Kennedy told Republicans, “I mourn the fact that neither my father nor my uncle would recognize the Democratic Party of today.” Kennedy was asking longtime Democrats a simple question: Does the party you support today still represent the principles that caused you, your parents or your grandparents to support it?
Kennedy described the Democratic Party of his youth as the party of working people, laborers, police officers, firefighters and the middle class. He recalled that John Kennedy campaigned for tax cuts, strong national defense and opposition to communism. Kennedy remembered Democrats as defenders of the Bill of Rights, particularly what he called “unbridled free speech,” and as skeptics of concentrated government and corporate power. His argument is that the party gradually became dominated by political, corporate and cultural elites while becoming increasingly comfortable with government intervention in Americans’ lives. Dear Friends,
Greetings from New York City.
Almost 2,500 years ago, the prophet Zechariah wrote, “On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And all the nations of the earth will gather against it.” (Zechariah 12:3, ESV)
Jerusalem is becoming a burden for the nations. Despite being a tiny country with a small capital city, Israel and Jerusalem remain the focus of attention for governments, international organizations, and media outlets around the world. In an interview with CNN Türk on July 2, 2026, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan described Israel as a “burden that humanity can no longer bear.”
When 193 nations gather at the UN for this year’s General Debate, many will bring with them antisemitism and hatred of Jews, the reversal of perpetrator and victim roles, and false accusations. These views will be expressed in the large assembly hall before a global audience, the media, and will also be discussed behind closed doors.
Let us pray with Zechariah 12:9 (ESV), “And on that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.” Let us bind the spirit of antisemitism and hatred of the Jewish people, as well as the distortions and lies that will surface during the General Debate. And let us bless the nations, that they may not oppose Israel but stand alongside her—and be blessed themselves.
The prophecy does not end with the nations. It leads to Zechariah 12:10 (ESV), “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn.” The nations look upon Jerusalem and see a burden. God looks upon Jerusalem and sees His city and a central place in His plan of salvation.

Let us stand together in prayer to:

Release God’s plans for this time and take authority over any plan of the enemy to single out Israel, or any attack on the Israeli delegation, Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon.

Destroy the plans of the enemy to rally the nations against Israel, like the UK ban on Israeli goods from Judea and Samaria just before Rosh Hashanah.

Ensure safety and security for all world leaders coming to New York, as well as for the city and its people.

Bless all security personnel, including the NYPD and the Secret Service, praying that they remain alert and that any attempted attack will be exposed.

Pray for the upcoming addresses, noting that President Trump will speak on September 22, representatives from France and the UK, as well as Prime Minister Netanyahu, on September 24, and the Palestinian Authority, China, and Russia on September 26, just to name a few.

In the past 25 years, dozens of democratic nations have refused to participate because the original 2001 summit in Durban, South Africa, and its subsequent follow-ups repeatedly devolved into platforms for virulent antisemitism and disproportionate anti-Israel bias. While the core theme of the original UN World Conference Against Racism is widely considered crucial, the hatred directed at a single nation—Israel—is outrageous.
Please pray against any form of antisemitism during this conference and the spreading of lies and hatred through this platform against Israel and its people.

T rex footprints unearthed in first-ever discovery 66 million years after creature walked the Earth
|

4 massive three-toed prints spanning more than 23 feet were discovered at the site

Scientists in North Dakota recently discovered what researchers believe is the first known trackway left by an adult T. rex — preserving the predator's footsteps some 66.5 million years after it walked the Earth.
The findings, which centered on footprints discovered near Marmarth, North Dakota, were published Sept. 9 in the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology.
The trackway, or sequence of footprints, was discovered in 2025 in the Hell Creek Formation of southwestern North Dakota, on federal land administered by the U.S. Forest Service.
In a recent announcement, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science said the trackway stretches more than 23 feet and consists of at least four three-toed prints.
Pictures from the site show researchers examining the massive, three-toed prints in the rocky terrain.
The prints are roughly 3 feet long — and their enormous size led researchers to determine that they were left by an adult T. rex.
The identification was "based on the footprints’ exceptional size and narrow shape of the toes, along with the abundance of T. rex fossils found in the surrounding area," the museum said in a statement. (Fox News) Read More
