'Nothing Short of a Move of God':
Nearly 5,000 Decisions for Christ at Recent 'Life Surge' Events
|
|
Leaders overseeing a faith-based leadership and business event are watching something phenomenal taking place in stadiums around the country. Hundreds, and sometimes even thousands of attendees, are giving their lives to Jesus in what they are calling "a move of God." Life Surge gathers thousands of people from around the country to "learn why and how to create and multiply financial resources for Kingdom Impact," according to their website. Joe Johnson founded the for-profit organization that invites prominent faith speakers and artists, such as Priscilla Shirer, Tim Tebow, and Chris Tomlin. Additionally, it is known to attract well-known business leaders like Robert Herjavec from Shark Tank and Marcus Lemonis from The Profit.
Johnson previously founded Welfont and, according to his website, is a "diehard Jesus follower." He told Startup Magazine he started Life Surge to help integrate faith with careers. "Another guiding philosophy I would say is we talk about this as an organization, but as individuals, that there's the biblical commandment to be fruitful and multiply, fill the Earth, but we use that in a business setting that we want to be fruitful as individuals — and we're always multiplying," Johnson told the outlet. At a recent Grand Rapids, Michigan, meeting, more than 5,000 attendees participated in worship, received dynamic teaching, and gained practical tools to bring back to the marketplace. - Abba, we are grateful for the intentional training of Christians in making impact for Christ in the world of business. We ask Your blessings upon 'Life Surge' as they teach and challenge believers to be fruitful for Kingdom purposes. We also celebrate the re-dedication of believers' lives for following Jesus, as many are responding to the altar calls. May each attendee be filled with the Holy Spirit and dedicate themselves to integrating faith within every aspect of their business. To God be the GLORY as the 7 Mountains of Influence; Religion, Family, Education, Government, Media, Arts/Entertainment and Business are being re-aligned across America, towards God's holy Ways, for His Kingdom plans and purposes! In the powerful Name of Yeshua, we pray-Amen and Amen.
- "In the last days the mountain of the Lord's temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it." (Isaiah 2:2)

Key Moments From Charlie Kirk's
Memorial Service
|
|
Trump, Erika Kirk, officials, and conservative leaders spotlighted Charlie Kirk’s faith and vowed to carry on his movement.
|
|
PHOENIX—Tens of thousands turned out for Charlie Kirk’s memorial service at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Sept. 21, which featured speeches from President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, cabinet members, conservative leaders, and those who knew and worked with the conservative commentator the closest.
The event came 11 days after the 31-year-old father of two was killed by a shooter at an event at a university in Utah.
Kirk was honored for the lives he touched, his commitment to his Christian faith, and his passion for debating politics with anyone willing to engage. Speakers also remembered Kirk’s years of work dedicated to building Turning Point USA, an organization credited for helping conservatives break through to young people.
Here are eight key moments from the event memorializing Kirk’s life and legacy. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Father God, we were so blessed to hear the comments of these governing officials, and more, during the Memorial Service for Charlie Kirk. Each one was so anointed by Your Hand as they spoke; reflecting the love and the truth of the Gospel. We ask that Your Hand of protection would rest upon each of these mighty men and women, as well as their families, as together we continue to wage the spiritual warfare that is necessary until Your soon coming. FBI Director Kash Patel says agency investigating 'theories and questions' surrounding Charlie Kirk's murder

Patel addressed the questions swirling about a plane that allegedly turned off its transponder after departing near assassination site
|
|
FBI Director Kash Patel announced Sunday that his agency is investigating "theories and questions" related to the Sept. 10 assassination of Charlie Kirk.
In a social media post on X, Patel affirmed that he is "committed to ensuring the investigation into Charlie Kirk’s assassination is thorough and exhaustive."
"We are examining every facet of this assassination," the official said, before addressing some of the theories that have circulated in recent days.
"We are meticulously investigating theories and questions, including the location from where the shot was taken, the possibility of accomplices, the text message confession and related conversations, Discord chats, the angle of the shot and bullet impact, how the weapon was transported, hand gestures observed as potential ‘signals' near Charlie at the time of his assassination, and visitors to the alleged shooter’s residence in the hours and days leading up to September 10, 2025."
Patel added that while some details are "known today," law enforcement agencies are still pursuing others "to ensure every possibility is considered."
"Our primary focus is to complete this investigation and deliver justice," Patel added. "To protect the integrity of the investigation and subsequent prosecution, we cannot release every piece of information we have to the public right now."
He also addressed questions swirling about a plane that allegedly turned off its transponder after departing near Orem, Utah, where Kirk was shot.
"We can share updates (about the plane) when answers are confirmed," Patel said. "After interviews with the pilot and consultation with the FAA, we determined the transponder was not turned off. Incomplete flight data in rural areas caused the apparent gap." (Fox News) Read more here.

- Lord God we pray the truth would be revealed in this tragedy. We are tired of lies and secrets kept from the American public. We continue to cover Erika and her children in prayer that they would be encouraged during this time. We commit this situation to you. Lord, and we know that your perfect justice will win out in Your time, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Netanyahu: There will be no Palestinian state
|
|
The Israel prime minister says response to international recognition to come after his U.S. visit.
|
|
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated on Sunday that there will not be a Palestinian state, and said that an Israeli response to the international recognition by various Western countries will come upon his return from a visit to the United States.
“I have a clear message to those leaders who have recognized a Palestinian state after the terrible massacre of October 7: You are granting a huge prize to terrorism,” Netanyahu said. “And I have another message: It will not happen. There will be no Palestinian state west of Jordan.”
The Israeli leader noted that he has been a longtime opponent of such a state against vast international pressure, while doubling the size of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.
“The response against the latest attempt to force a terror state on us in the heart of our country will be given after my return from the United States,” he said.
Netanyahu will be in New York later this week for the U.N. General Assembly’s annual general debate—he is scheduled to address the forum on Friday—and will meet with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House next Monday. (JNS.org) Read more here.

|
- Father God, in prayer we continue to stand in agreement with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as he opposes the creation of a Palestinian State. We ask that Your hand of blessing would rest upon him as he visits President Trump at the White House next week. May Your plans then unfold for the land of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Lord we pray, too, for wisdom for Prime Minister Netanyahu and all Israeli officials as they respond to this announcement. We cover in prayer our elected leaders to stand with Israel and for strength for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are in Israel ministering to those in need. We know that you, Lord watch faithfully over Israel and all your people all over the world delivering them from evil. In Jesus name, amen.
- “but because the Lord loved you and kept the oath which He swore to your forefathers, the Lord brought you out by a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.” (Deuteronomy 7:8)

UN Prayer Watch Newsletter
for Israel, America and the Nations
September 2025
|
|
Dear Friends,
Greetings from New York City.
We were shocked by the assassination of Charlie Kirk, a Christian and friend of Israel, last week. Besides founding Turning Point USA, he was first and foremost a husband and father. Where are we heading as a society when his death is celebrated? Please keep his family and the family of his alleged murderer in your prayers.
As world leaders come to New York City for the UN General Debate next week, pray for them according to 1 Timothy 2:1-2. Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, is on September 22 and 23, so this time is crucial for the nations. Matthew 25:31-33 (ESV) says, “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left.” Let us lift up the nations before the Lord so that they may choose to stand with Israel.

Items to Keep in Prayer
- We will not forget the 48 remaining hostages who have been held in Gaza for almost 2 years. Pray against the spirit of death and for strength, hope, and courage for the hostages and their families—especially in light of the ground operation happening right now by the IDF as Hamas is using the hostages as human shields. Read the article on worldisraelnews.com.
- Pray for Judge Julia Sebutinde at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), who stands with Israel. There are calls for her to resign as one of the 17 judges who is working on the genocide case against Israel.
- Pray for the humanitarian situation in Gaza and that the needed goods will get to the Palestinian people and not Hamas. The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) and other organizations want to distribute aid to the people in Gaza.
- Please continue to pray for an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine. Drones are being sent into Poland’s airspace by Russia and Nato is acting accordingly by taking them down.

1. World summit to meet on two-state solution; 6 more nations set to recognize Palestine - Times of Israel
France and Saudi Arabia will convene dozens of world leaders on Monday at 3 p.m. New York time (10 p.m. Israel time) to rally support for a two-state solution, with several of them expected to formally recognize a Palestinian state — a move that could draw harsh Israeli and US responses.
Israel and the United States will boycott the summit, said Israel’s UN Ambassador Danny Danon, describing the event as a “circus.” “We don’t think it’s helpful. We think it’s actually rewarding terrorism,” he told reporters on Thursday.
The UK, Canada, Portugal and Australia all announced on Sunday that they formally recognized a State of Palestine, with six more countries — France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Malta, San Marino and Andorra — set to follow suit on Monday, ahead of world leaders’ addresses to the UN General Assembly. 3. IDF Central Command chief cautions of escalation in Judea and Samaria amid statehood debate and holidays - World Israel News
The head of the Israel Defense Forces’ Central Command, Maj. Gen. Avi Bluth, cautioned that the Jewish holiday season could bring heightened violence in Judea and Samaria, as political tensions and other factors converge.
Speaking at a ceremony marking the 35th anniversary of the Border Police’s undercover unit in Judea and Samaria, Bluth cited what he called “many challenges before us.”
He pointed to ongoing fighting in Gaza City, security threats from the north, and the “constant struggle against terror in Judea and Samaria.” He added that the current environment has been further inflamed by international “political declarations,” the holiday calendar, the olive harvest, incitement from abroad, and the “inspiration and contagion of the lone perpetrator.”
“These are not reasons for optimism,” Bluth told the officers in attendance, “but I am full of hope, because I believe in you.” (Read more)

France is advancing an initiative aimed at establishing an “International Stabilization Mission” that would replace the IDF in Gaza and work to disarm Hamas after the war ends, according to a draft of the proposal obtained by The Times of Israel.
The proposal aims to operationalize an internationally-backed declaration from July calling for a two-state solution, the disarmament of Hamas and the gradual transfer of internal security in Gaza to the Palestinian Authority.
The proposal envisions several states leading the transitional force and specifically names Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar as preferred candidates. (Read more)

5. Israel Making Progress on Syria Pact but Deal Still Far Off, Netanyahu Says
- Algemeiner
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday there has been progress on a security deal with Syria but an agreement was not imminent.
Speaking at the outset of a cabinet meeting, Netanyahu said victory against Hezbollah in Lebanon had opened up the possibility of peace with Israel’s northern neighbors.
“We are holding talks with the Syrians, there is some progress, but there was still a ways to go,” he said. “In any case these discussions, as well as the contacts with Lebanon, would not have been possible without our decisive victories on the northern front and others.” (Read more)

1. Trump and Xi discuss future of TikTok in US - BBC
US President Donald Trump has said that he and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping approved a deal on the future of TikTok's US operations during a phone call on Friday, although there was no confirmation from Beijing.
Trump wrote on Truth Social that the call was "productive" and he "appreciated" Xi's approval of deal, which would reportedly see TikTok's US business sold to a group of US investors.
Trump added he believes TikTok has "tremendous value" to the US. "The people that are investing it are among the greatest investors in the world," he said. "And they'll do a great job - and we're doing it in conjunction with China." (Read more)

2. Judge rejects Trump’s New York Times lawsuit for being ‘decidedly improper and impermissible’ - CNN
In a ruling dripping with derision, a federal judge has rejected President Trump’s defamation lawsuit against The New York Times, asserting that the rambling 85-page suit did not follow federal rules for filing civil complaints.
The president’s team has been given a month to refile, and a Trump spokesperson indicated that they will do so.
Judge Steven D. Merryday of the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida said Friday that the suit “stands unmistakably and inexcusably athwart the requirements of Rule 8” of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
A complaint must be a “short, plain, direct statement of allegations of fact,” he wrote, and Trump’s broadside against The Times was “decidedly improper and impermissible.”
Merryday said Trump’s legal team can refile in the next four weeks, but must keep the complaint to 40 pages or fewer.
A complaint is not supposed to be “a public forum for vituperation and invective” or “a megaphone for public relations,” he said. (Read more)

- Lord, Give President Trump's legal team wisdom on how to refile this complaint in 40 pages or less communicating according to the guidelines of being short and direct in their complaint. We forgive this judge for releasing these impudent remarks.

3. Here are the groups Trump has designated as terrorist organizations - Washington Examiner
President Donald Trump has made liberal use of terrorist designations during his second term, giving the designation to 14 different groups and networks.
These militant groups range from far-left anarchists in the U.S. to Central American drug cartels and Iranian-backed militias. The designations give Trump greater leeway to combat the groups.

4. Government shutdown looms after Senate rejects House-passed stopgap funding bill - The Hill
Senate Democrats on Friday blocked a House-passed bill to fund federal departments and agencies for seven weeks, putting Washington on the path to an Oct. 1 government shutdown.
Democrats came together in near unison to defeat the measure on a 44-48 vote, with only Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman (D) voting for the Republican-drafted proposal, which passed the House earlier Friday by a 217-212 vote.
Two Republicans voted against the House-passed continuing resolution: Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.), an outspoken fiscal hawk who argued it would prolong Biden-era spending levels, and Sen. Lisa Murkowski (Alaska), a centrist who has voiced grave concerns about the Medicaid cuts Trump signed into law earlier this year.
Democrats blocked the resolution, which would fund government until Nov. 21, after Republicans defeated an alternative Democratic proposal to fund government until Oct. 31, extend health insurance subsidies and restore nearly $1 trillion in Medicaid funding cuts.
The two failed votes leave Republican and Democratic leaders at loggerheads over how to avoid a government shutdown in only 11 days. (Read more)

6. Trump said seeking congressional approval to sell $6 billion in weapons to Israel - The Times of Israel
The Trump administration is seeking congressional approval to sell nearly $6 billion in weapons to Israel, The Wall Street Journal reports, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.
The proposed sale includes 30 AH-64 Apache helicopters worth $3.8 billion, which would double Israel’s current fleet of the aircraft. The package also includes 3,250 infantry assault vehicles worth $1.9 billion.
The weapons likely wouldn’t be delivered for two to three years, one of the sources tells WSJ.
The White House is now seeking approval from the four top Republican and Democratic leaders of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in order to move the package forward.
The leaders of those two committees typically must sign off on major foreign weapons deals before an administration can send a notification to the entire Congress. (Read more)

- Lord, in this Jewish New Year, we pray Your will be done in this Congressional approval of weapons sale to Israel.

Standing Before the Lord
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, September 22, 2025
In Deuteronomy 29:9-30:20, Nitzavim, Moses affirms the covenant with Israel with a reminder that every person, great and small, is standing before ADONAI. He said, “Today you are standing, all of you, before ADONAI your God…But I am not making this covenant and this oath only with you. Rather, I am making it both with him standing here with us today before ADONAI your God and also with him who is not here with us today.” In other words, this covenant was not limited to those physically present, but extended to every generation. This underscores God’s timeless faithfulness and the responsibility of His people across the ages to walk in His ways, no matter the era or the nation where they reside. This includes us today.
Nitzavim is read each year before Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, a time of repentance before Yom Kippur. It is a prophetic call to stand before God, examining our lives, as Israel was commanded to do. Moses warns that disobedience would lead to exile, but promises that after repentance, the LORD would gather His people and circumcise their hearts. Deuteronomy 30:2 speaks of returning to God: the Hebrew word teshuvah means to turn back, to return from the wrong place. Yeshua’s (Jesus’s) parable of the prodigal son illustrates this: the son left his father’s house and lived in sin but eventually returned. The father’s joyful embrace is a picture of God’s mercy. Deuteronomy 30:4 promises that when His people return, He Himself will gather them. Today we see glimpses of this in the worldwide return of the Jewish people to both their faith and their land. Trump Officials Preach Gospel, Praise God at Charlie Kirk Memorial Service
|
|
Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was honored Sunday in a memorial service attended by President Donald Trump and members of his administration, where Kirk’s Christian faith took center stage. “It’s like an old-time revival, isn’t it?” the president asked, after listening to Charlie’s family, TPUSA colleagues, and friends in the administration preach the gospel for five hours in State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
“Eleven days ago, my friend was martyred for using his voice to engage in peaceful dialogue. Charlie’s assassin thought that he could steal and silence his voice by putting a bullet in his neck,” Kirk’s friend and TPUSA Chief of Staff Mikey McCoy recalled. Quoting philosopher Soren Kierkegaard, he continued, “The tyrant dies and his rule is over; the martyr dies and his rule has just begun. Charlie was not silenced. His movement is only beginning.” McCoy referenced one of Kirk’s frequently-worn t-shirts, featuring the slogan “live free,” and urged the tens of thousands gathered there to do so. “True freedom is not found in doing whatever we want, but pursuing Christ and doing what is right. In Charlie’s words, get married, have more children than you can afford, build a legacy, pass down your values, and pursue the eternal.”
... Members of the Trump administration, many of them Kirk’s friends, also spoke, calling for Christian virtue and bravery to arise anew in the country. Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard said, “Charlie was fearless. But where did his fearlessness come from? The answer lies in Corinthians.” The DNI then cited 2 Corinthians 5:6-9:
“Therefore be always of good courage and know that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord. We are of good courage, I say, and prefer to be absent from the body and at home with the Lord. Therefore we have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to him.”
“Every one of us needs to be a warrior like Charlie, to take shelter in God, to draw strength and fearlessness from the Lord,” Gabbard advised. “God says, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am with you. I will strengthen you and help you.’ And He is with us. He sits within every one of our hearts, just waiting for us to choose Him to say, as Charlie did, ‘God, use me for your will.’”
“Charlie’s overarching passion was his Christianity and his devotion to his God,” observed Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who identifies as Catholic. “He believed what Saint Francis taught us almost a thousand years ago, that we should strive to live our lives in perfect imitation of Christ, that we should turn every day and every moment and every interaction into a prayer.” He added, “And Charlie understood the great paradox that it’s only by surrender to God that God’s power can flow into our lives and make us effective human beings.” (The Washington Stand)

The Gaming Connection: The Role of Online Culture in Charlie Kirk’s Assassination
|
|
|
In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, a national dialogue emerged over what contributed to Kirk’s alleged murderer, Tyler Robinson, resorting to violence. Debate has raged over his motivations, political allegiance, and his tie to gender ideology. While the FBI investigates further, one topic of discussion has been Robinson’s involvement online. Already, the investigation has unearthed some indicators as to the level of Robinson’s online presence.
Multiple friends of Robinson described him as “terminally online.” The bullet casings used by Robinson were each inscribed with messages containing numerous online and gaming references. The bullet that struck and killed Kirk read, “Notices, bulges, OwO what’s this?,” which comes from a meme commonly used by members of an online subculture known as “furries.” These “furries” are obsessed with anthropomorphic animal characters, or animals with human characteristics. Another of the inscriptions read, “If you read this, you are gay, LMAO,” which may derive from common online “trash talk” or “troll behavior.”
Two of the messages specifically related to the world of gaming, with one reading, “Oh, Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Ciao,” which comes from an Italian folksong commonly used by “antifascists,” but it’s also referenced in the video game “Far Cry 6.” One bullet held another gaming reference, saying, “Hey fascist catch,” followed by a series of arrows with one arrow pointing up, one pointing right, and three pointing down. The message seemingly comes from the video game “Helldivers 2” where the user plays as a type of “fascist” in space to enforce “managed democracy” in the galaxy. The arrows correlate with a control input combination meant to call in an airstrike.
Robinson also allegedly confessed his guilt in a chat thread via a common messaging platform among gamers called Discord. When Senator Josh Hawley (R- Mo.) observed the thread contained as many as 20 users, FBI Director Kash Patel noted that the chat included “a lot more than that.”
Given Robinson’s gaming references and online presence, many are reviving the debate as to how video games may affect their users, and whether they stoke proclivities toward violence. Family Research Council President Tony Perkins pointed out that online gaming has coincided with “real world violence” before, while positing the question, “Is there a connection or is it just coincidence?” (The Washington Stand) Read more here.

- Father God, it is written that "in the last days perilous times will come:" (2 Timothy 3:1). We are now living in those times, and these days can be truly frightening. Come, Lord Jesus! We thank You that, when we invite You into our lives as our Savior and our Lord, You are always there with us, to comfort us and to protect us.
We lift up those who may be able to thwart this plan of the enemy, ensnaring the next generation(s) with this diabolical scheme. Abba Father God, we ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way for these young men and women to flee from this evil, and to find their way to You. We ask this prayer in Your Name, Abba, amen and amen.

Most powerful storm on earth this year lashes Philippines. Hong Kong, Taiwan and southern China on alert
|
|
Super Typhoon Ragasa made landfall over Panuitan Island after generating sustained winds of over 267 kph (165 mph), the equivalent of a Category 5 hurricane.
The strongest storm of the year so far has descended on the northern Philippines with destructive winds and torrential rain, prompting evacuations of thousands of people and preparations in nearby Hong Kong, Taiwan and mainland China.
Typhoon Ragasa, known in the Philippines as Nando, made landfall over Panuitan Island, in the northern Cagayan province, on Monday, according to the country’s meteorological agency (PAGASA) – after generating sustained winds of over 267 kph (165 mph), the equivalent of a Category 5 hurricane.
Tens of millions of people could be impacted by the storm, which is expected to pass over parts of the Asian island nation before heading toward the major cities of Hong Kong and Macau, and mainland China’s Guangdong Province.
“Local winds may be slightly stronger/enhanced in coastal and upland/mountainous areas exposed to winds. Winds are less strong in areas sheltered from the prevailing wind direction,” PAGASA said.
As of Monday morning, the storm was located just over 1,000 km east-southeast of Hong Kong and moving west at roughly 23 kph (14 mph). Read More

"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
