Government officials from the United States and several countries will convene in Washington, D.C., next week on the eve of the National Prayer Breakfast for the inaugural meeting of the new International Religious Freedom Alliance.

Trump’s Defense Speaks Up
Trump's Defense:
After Democrats' 'Bluster and Innuendo,' Six Key Facts Remain
"Let's talk about the facts and the evidence in this case," Michael Purpura, deputy counsel to the president, told the U.S. Senate on Saturday morning.
. . . Once you sweep away all of the bluster and innuendo, the selective leaks, the closed-door examinations of the Democrats' hand-picked witnesses, the staged public hearings, what we're left with are six key facts that have not and will not change.
Purpura listed those six facts, as follows:
1. The transcript shows that the president did not condition either security assistance or a meeting on anything. The paused security assistance funds aren't even mentioned on the call.
2. President Zelensky and other Ukrainian officials have repeatedly said that there was no quid pro quo and no pressure on them to review anything.
3. President Zelensky and high-ranking Ukrainian officials did not even know about the pause in security assistance until the end of August, over a month after the July 25 call.
4. Not a single witness testified that the president himself said that there was any connection between any investigations and security assistance, a presidential meeting or anything else.
5. The security assistance flowed on September 11th and a presidential meeting took place on Sept. 25 without the Ukrainian government announcing any investigations.
6. The Democrats' own witnesses testified that President Trump has been a better friend and a stronger supporter of Ukraine than his predecessor.
"Those are the facts," Purpura said. "We plan to address some of them today and some of them next week." (Read more)

1. Minister Yariv Levin; 'Big win for Netanyahu and his policies' - Israel National News
Tourism Minister Yariv Levin spoke to Arutz Sheva in Washington ahead of the rollout of President Donald Trump's Deal of the Century Mideast initiative. "When you read about the meetings you hear various things but when you are there and you see the real, real friendship between President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu, it's something that I think no Israeli prime minister ever had with an American president.
"I think President Trump is a real friend of the State of Israel, the best friend Israel had in the White House, and the meeting that was very important dealt mainly with our mutual fight and struggle against Iran, against the nuclear program of Iran, and also dealt with our need to stop the procedures in the ICC that aim to put Israel in a situation that it won't be able to defend itself against terror and won't be able to continue our efforts to build in Judea and Samaria and in the Jordan Valley."
What are Levin's expectations from tomorrow? "I surely think it will be an historical day, it will be a turn from what we knew up until now, many things that in the past the Right-wing in Israel wanted, and the Israeli policy led by Netanyahu put on the table, and many people thought it will never be accepted by the United States; I think tomorrow we have a chance."
2. With PM at his side, Trump says without Palestinians 'we don't do the deal' - Times Of Israel
WASHINGTON - The US administration will publish its long-anticipated Israeli-Palestinian peace proposal on Tuesday, US President Donald Trump confirmed on Monday, standing next to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House.
"Peace in the Middle East has been long sought, for many, many years and decades and centuries. This is an opportunity. We'll see what happens. Whatever it is, it is," he said in the White House Rose Garden.
"Tomorrow at 12 o'clock, we're going to show a plan, it's been worked on by everybody. And we'll see whether or not it catches hold. If it does, that would be great. And if it doesn't, we're going to have to live with that too. But I think that it might have a chance."
Sitting with Netanyahu in the Oval Office afterwards, Trump predicted that the Palestinians will "ultimately" come round to giving their support. "They probably won't want it initially. I think in the end they will," he said. "I think in the end they're going to want it. It's very good for them. In fact, it's overly good to them. So we'll see what happens. Now without them, we don't do the deal. And that's okay."
3. Trump to reveal 'Deal of the Century' map - Jerusalem Post
WASHINGTON - US President Donald Trump will release his peace plan for Israel and the Palestinians on Tuesday and for the first time publicize a map outlining the borders of a proposed Palestinian state.
Presentation of a detailed map of the borders between Israel and a future Palestinian state is something that no American president has done before, a source involved in drafting the plan told The Jerusalem Post on Monday.
Trump will reveal the plan at a ceremony in the East Room of the White House that will be attended by Jewish and Republican leaders. He will be joined onstage by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
4. Netanyahu to heads of the Yesha Council: I'm keeping my promise - Israel National News
The leaders of the Yesha Council on Monday held a meeting with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in Washington, immediately after his meeting with President Donald Trump.
Attending the meeting were: Jordan Valley Regional Council chairman and Yesha Council chairman David Elhayani, Binyamin Regional Council chairman Yisrael Gantz, Gush Etzion Regional Council chairman Shlomo Ne'eman and Efrat Mayor Oded Revivi.
After the meeting, they said, "We came to strengthen the Prime Minister, stand to his right and bring the voice of the entire settlement enterprise to the White House clearly and sharply. It was important for us to hear things firsthand and not from rumors. We stressed the important issues for the settlement enterprise and for the entire state: Israeli sovereignty, maintaining the wholeness of the land and continuing the development and prosperity of the settlement enterprise."
"The Prime Minister was attentive and assured us that he did not deviate in any way from his promises, and out of commitment to the President, he is not currently going into the details of the plan."
5. Palestinian factions call 'day of rage' on day of Trump peace plan - Jerusalem Post
Palestinian factions on Sunday called for a "day of rage" for the day US President Donald Trump releases his long-awaited plan for Mideast peace.
Parts of the plan are expected to be publicized during separate meetings in Washington this week between Trump, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Blue and White chairman Benny Gantz.
Palestinians often mark "days of rage" by initiating clashes with IDF soldiers in the West Bank and Israeli policemen in east Jerusalem.
The latest call for a "day of rage" came as the Palestinian Authority continued to threaten that Trump's upcoming plan, also known as the "Deal of the Century," would ignite mass protests in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

1. 'Direct Hit' Reported as Rockets Target US Embassy in Baghdad - CNS News
Several rockets targeted the U.S. Embassy in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, on Sunday evening, with some reportedly hitting the building itself for the first time in several years.
The Iraq Security Media Cell, which falls under the office of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, reported that five Katyusha rockets had landed the city's international "Green Zone," causing no casualties.
The AFP news agency cited a security source as saying that three of the rocket launches achieved a "direct hit." Security officials were also quoted as saying that the mission's dining hall was struck. (Read more)
- Lord, we rebuke the source of these rockets and in the mighty Name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against our embassies worldwide will prosper.

2. Three US Military Veterans Killed in Australia C-130 Water Bomber Crash - Military Times
The three American firefighters who were killed Thursday in the crash of a C-130 Hercules water tanker plane while helping to battle the raging wildfires in Australia have been identified.
Their employer, Portland, Ore.-based Coulson Aviation USA, identified the victims as Capt. Ian McBeth, 44, of Great Falls, Mont.; First Officer Paul Hudson, 42, of Buckeye, Ariz.; and Flight Engineer Rick DeMorgan Jr., 43, of Navarre, Fla.
All three were U.S. military veterans, according to a Coulson statement. McBeth served in both the Montana Air National Guard and the Wyoming Air National Guard; Hudson served in the Marine Corps after graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy; and DeMorgan served 18 years in the U.S. Air Force. -Lord, we pray Your comfort for the families of these brave men who went to help Australia. We thank You for their willingness to help, and pray for all who are attempting to stop the wildfires there.

3. Experts think the Wuhan coronavirus jumped from bats to snakes to people. Bats have been the source of at least 4 pandemics - Business Insider
The coronavirus spreading in China and the SARS outbreak of 2003 have two things in common: Both are from the coronavirus family and both were passed from animals to humans in a wet market.
Coronaviruses are zoonotic diseases, meaning they spread to people from animals. Because wet markets put people and live and dead animals - dogs, chickens, pigs, snakes, civets, and more - in close contact, it can be easy for a virus to make an interspecies jump. "Poorly regulated live-animal markets mixed with illegal wildlife trade offer a unique opportunity for viruses to spill over from wildlife hosts into the human population," the Wildlife Conservation Society said in a statement on Thursday. 4. 'Economist' EIC: No One Talked About Impeachment in Davos - Free Beacon
The editor in chief of the Economist said on Sunday that attendees at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, were gearing up for a second Trump term, while "literally no one" spoke to her about impeachment. CNN anchor Fareed Zakaria asked Economist editor Zanny Minton Beddoes what the global elite in Davos thought about impeachment.
"To be honest, I didn't think they're paying a huge amount of attention to it," Beddoes said. She went on to say that while few were closely following what they saw as a foregone conclusion, many attendees were "taking almost as given that there might be a second term for President Trump." "The mood I think certainly amongst the business types in Davos was 'get ready for a second term,'" Beddoes said. "Literally no one spoke to me about impeachment."
House Democrats presented their impeachment case against Trump to the Senate this past week. Trump's lawyers will continue their defense of the president this week, in advance of a possible end to the trial on Friday. (Read more)
- Lord, we thank You that in the international realm, people are learning about the President through his skills rather than the loud noise coming from Democrats.

5. Soros-Funded Leftist Group 'Vote Vets' Attacks Tom Cotton by Twisting Interview Out of Context - Breitbart
The George Soros-funded organization Vote Vets, which purports to stand for veterans but is a leftist organization, is twisting comments made by Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) in an interview Sunday morning on CBS about Americans injured in Iran's ballistic missile strike on U.S. installations in Iraq.
Iran's ballistic missile strike, which consisted of at least a dozen ballistic missiles launched at at least two U.S. installations in Iraq in retaliation by the regime in Tehran for President Donald Trump's strike taking out Quds Force leader and infamous terrorist Qasem Soleimani, claimed no American lives. There were upwards of 30 injuries of varying degrees, however, including 16 who returned to duty quickly, another 9 who were transported to Germany for treatment and evaluation, and another 8 who were brought home to the United States for treatment and evaluation. 6. Automatic Voter Registration Led to Illegal Ballots, Illinois Admits - Free Beacon
A watchdog group has requested records from the Illinois State Board of Elections after 574 noncitizens were added to its voter rolls, allowing some of them to vote illegally in the 2018 midterm elections.
The Public Interest Legal Foundation, an election integrity law firm, made the request on Thursday after the board admitted the error. The individuals in question were improperly invited onto the rolls through a glitch in the state's automatic voter registration system while applying for a driver's license or state identification. The watchdog says Democratic politicians are pushing automatic voter registration at the expense of election integrity. The issues in Illinois with automatic voter registration, which has been implemented in 18 states and the District of Columbia, contribute to an already widespread trend of noncitizens making their way onto voter rolls nationwide. (Read more)
- Father, we thank You for this revelation and pray that every state that has this kind of automatic voter registration be purged of noncitizens before the election.

7. Joe Biden Says 'No Room For Compromise' On Transgender Issues As Bernie Faces Backlash For Joe Rogan Endorsement - Daily Caller
Former Vice President Joe Biden said Saturday that "there is no room for compromise" on transgender issues, which he called the "civil rights issue of our time."
Biden has previously said that passing the Equality Act, a Democratic-supported bill that would require schools to include biological males who identify as transgender on girls' sports teams, would be his top legislative priority.
"Let's be clear: Transgender equality is the civil rights issue of our time. There is no room for compromise when it comes to basic human rights," the Democratic presidential candidate wrote in a tweet Saturday. (Read more)

8. Denver Post Columnist Fired After Arguing There Are Two Sexes - Free Beacon
A Denver Post columnist says he was fired after disputing the idea that there are more than two sexes. Jon Caldara, president of the libertarian Independence Institute, announced that he has been fired from the Post, chalking it up to "a difference in style" that his editors found "too insensitive."
"My column is not a soft voiced, sticky sweet NPR-styled piece which employs the language now mandated by the victim-centric, identity politics driven media," he said in a Facebook post. "What seemed to be the last straw for my column was my insistence that there are only two sexes and my frustration that to be inclusive of the transgendered (even that word isn't allowed) we must lose our right to free speech." (Read more)
- Lord, we know from Your Word that there are only two sexes. We pray that this columnist will be blessed and that You will find a venue that will encourage his free speech and bring him to Yourself.

9. MLK's Niece Denounces Democrat For 'Race Baiting' Trump - Daily Wire
If there's anyone in America who might be considered the top expert on racism, it's got to be Alveda King, the niece of the late Martin Luther King Jr.
"I've had the experience of going head-to-head with genuine racists," King said on Fox News. "Back in the 20th Century, I was a youth organizer. At the time, my uncle, Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King was killed [in 1968] . . . I was in a home that was bombed. A racist is a person who really does believe that their race, their category of humanity, is superior or different." And, King said, Trump isn't one of them. (Read more)
- Lord, we know in our spirits that President Trump is not a racist. We ask that truth be revealed in a way that people can actually understand it. We thank You, too, for giving us our sister, Dr. Alveda King, who always speaks truth to power. In Jesus' name, amen.
- "Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart." (Psalm 51:6)
10. Dershowitz calls out House Dems in Trump's Senate impeachment trial after Bolton shock waves - Fox News
Harvard Law School Professor Alan Dershowitz, delivering a spirited constitutional defense of President Trump at his Senate impeachment trial Monday night, flatly turned toward House impeachment managers and declared they had picked "dangerous" and "wrong" charges against the president -- noting that neither "abuse of power" nor "obstruction of justice" was remotely close to an impeachable offense as the framers had intended.
In a dramatic primetime moment, the liberal constitutional law scholar reiterated that although he voted for Hillary Clinton, he could not find constitutional justification for the impeachment of a president for non-criminal conduct, or conduct that was not at least "akin" to defined criminal conduct.
"I'm sorry, House managers, you just picked the wrong criteria. You picked the most dangerous possible criteria to serve as a precedent for how we supervise and oversee future presidents," Dershowitz told the House Democrats, including head House impeachment manager Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif. (Read more)
- We thank You, Father, for the clarity of this argument. May we all consider the word "impeachment" in the light the understanding of the U.S. Constitution. In Jesus' name, amen.

Prophecy-Beware of the Israel Peace Plan
The time is near when President Donald Trump will unveil his long-awaited plan to bring peace between the political entity of violent anti-Israel "Palestinians" and the state of Israel. They are calling it the "Deal of the Century" and it is supposed to meet Israel's vital security concerns and the needs of the Palestinian Authority, which morphed over the years from the terrorist Palestinian Liberation Organization. Every president who has tried to broker peace between these entities has failed and has suffered seemingly prophetic consequences as documented by White House Correspondent Bill Koenig in his book "Eye to Eye-Facing the consequences of Dividing Israel." Concessions to terrorists are never a good idea.
Koenig points out that "Despite their good intentions, previous American presidents, and to a lesser degree the international community, are accountable for dividing the land God gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and their descendants; promoting a peace plan that would position Israel in indefensible borders; interfering with God's plan of having Jews move home to Israel and Judea and Samaria-the biblical heartland of Israel; and participating in the eviction of Jews from their homes within the biblical heartland of Israel." Koenig documents political, economic and natural disasters that occurred within 24-48 hours after every time the US has meddled in dividing the land for peace.
The current US President represents America as a true friend to Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is optimistic about this peace plan, saying, "An opportunity such as this comes once in history and cannot be missed. Today, we have in the White House the greatest friend that Israel has ever had; therefore, we have the greatest opportunity that we have ever had." The Times of Israel reports, "The Palestinian Authority has preemptively rejected the Trump plan and is reportedly threatening to cancel its security coordination with Israel in the West Bank if it moves ahead." If the sovereign state of Israel favors the plan and the terrorist-sponsoring Palestinian Authority rejects it, then the plan might be a step in the right direction-by man's ways.
God's ways, however, may not be so accepting. God told Abram in Genesis 12:2-3, "And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless you and curse him that curses you: and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed." Israel was miraculously reestablished May 14, 1948, and there is prophetic significance to this. As Koenig writes, there have been 208 weather disasters since 1980 costing the US over $1.1 trillion, "Most of the catastrophes occurred at the time the United States was pressuring Israel to divide their covenant land." The weather disasters are just one example. While optimism awaits the Trump peace plan, the power of prophecy will move as this plan unfolds. We will see how man's plan aligns with God's plan, or not.
Kobe Bryant Crash Investigation
Weather conditions eyed in Kobe Bryant helicopter crash, officials say
Officials in Los Angeles said late Sunday that dense fog in Southern California likely played a role in the deadly crash in Calabasas that claimed the lives of nine people, including NBA great Kobe Bryant and his teenage daughter. Several experts pointed to the poor flying conditions in the area and said fog will likely play a key part in the investigation, the Los Angeles Times reported. Dense fog covered the area and continued to hang low on the Santa Monica mountain range hours after the crash.
"You could hear it - thump, thump, thump - and then a loud thud," Pastor Bob Bjerkaas, who was teaching Sunday school at the Church in the Canyons, told USA Today. His wife ran out and saw a cloud of gray billowing from the mountains, the report said. Bjerkaas said it was "dense. My guess is he was flying low," he said. (Read more)

Statement by 21 State AGs
State AGs urge Senate to reject impeachment in stinging letter:
'A dangerous historical precedent'
The attorneys general of 21 states have come forward with a blistering rebuke of the impeachment of President Trump, asserting that it "establishes a dangerous historical precedent."
The Republican attorneys general, in a letter submitted to the Senate Wednesday morning and obtained by Fox News, urged the chamber conducting Trump's trial to "reject" the impeachment articles.
The letter accuses House Democrats of impeaching Trump as a politically motivated response to the 2016 election and warned that it poses a threat to the 2020 election as well.
"Even an unsuccessful effort to impeach the President undermines the integrity of the 2020 presidential election because it weaponizes a process that should only be initiated in exceedingly rare circumstances and should never be used for partisan purposes," the letter continued.
. . . The GOP letter was signed by the attorneys general of Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia. (Source: Fox News)

State AG letter to Senate on impeachment
Conclusion
Because the legal theories underlying both Articles I and II are both legally flawed and factually insufficient, are inherently destructive of separation of powers, and are contrary to the Framer's vision of the impeachment power, the Senate should explicitly reject them. Even more importantly, it should reject them to protect the institution of the Presidency and the Constitution from such a dangerous precedent for future generations. The Senate should not adopt the specious and legally vacuous theories of "corrupt motives" and "unilateral control." Both theories present the same destructive seed of thought: that a President may be removed from office for exercising his lawful constitutional privilege and authority.
This partisan political effort undermines the democratic process, both now and in the future. The House unilaterally re-writes the constitution, without the people's consent to amend it. It weaponizes a process that should only be initiated in exceedingly rare circumstances and never for partisan purposes. This purely partisan attack on President Trump will damage democracy in America in the worst possible way: it will forever weaken the separation of powers-the very edifice upon which our democracy stands. .
If the Senate does not reject the politically-motivated, manufactured theories upon which the impeachment articles are based, the House will be emboldened to base future impeachment efforts upon the same vague, boundless, and destructive theories. Indeed, because congressional precedents establishing the contours of impeachable conduct are wholly insulated from judicial review, it is imperative that the Senate's basis for rejecting the articles against President Trump be clear for future generations. We, therefore, urge the Senate to reject the Articles of Impeachment.
> > > Please note, in particular, the names of these 21 Attorneys General who have signed this letter. Let us pray for their protection, and that their voices will be heard.

1. Rivlin, world leaders vow to stand united against racism, antisemitism - Jerusalem Post
President Reuven Rivlin invited world leaders gathered in Jerusalem on Wednesday to send a message that they stand united against racism, antisemitism and extremism.
Speaking at a gala banquet organized in the President's Residence for the dozens of heads of states who are here to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, Rivlin said historical research should be free of politics.
"Historical research should be left to historians," he said. "The role of political leaders is to shape the future. I hope and pray that from this room, the message will go out to every country on earth, that the leaders of the world will stand united in the fight against racism, antisemitism and extremism."
Rivlin called the gathering historic not only for Israel and the Jewish people but for all humanity. It embodies the commitment of all those who attend to pass on the awareness of what happened during the Holocaust to the next generations, he said.

3. In apparent gesture, Netanyahu to meet Pence at Jerusalem embassy - Israel Hayom
In a rare move, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet with US Vice President Mike Pence this week at the newly inaugurated US Embassy in Jerusalem rather than at the regular venues where he normally hosts foreign leaders.
Pence is expected to arrive in Israel on Thursday, to take part in the Fifth World Holocaust Forum alongside dozens of world leader. The embassy meeting, which will take place that same day, could be Netanyahu's way of showing his appreciation to the Trump administration's daring move of relocating the embassy from Tel Aviv despite international opposition.
Netanyahu usually meets with visiting dignitaries at the Prime Minister's Office or at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem.
Pence, who is considered one of the most pro-Israel figures in the administration, was a strong advocate of the move to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

5. Netanyahu Gives Putin Disputed Old City Church in Exchange for Jailed Israeli Woman - Jewish Press
Following a report on Channel 13 on Monday night that as part of the efforts to release Naama Issachar Russia is demanding possession of Alexander's Court in the Old City, Ma'ariv on Wednesday morning published a document confirming that Israel had already responded to the Russian demand, and did it three weeks ago.
MK Omer Bar-Lev (Labor) tweeted in response: "In 2003, Sharon informed Putin that he would hand over Alexander's Court if Russia stopped selling weapons in the Middle East. Tomorrow, Netanyahu will hand it over in exchange for a girl who shouldn't have been in custody for one second." And he concluded: "We used to have strong leaders."
The land on which Alexander's Court was built, Which includes the Alexander Nevsky Church and several other buildings, was purchased in 1859 by Czar Alexander III, Emperor of Russia, King of Poland and Grand Duke of Finland.

1. McConnell's impeachment trial rules pass in Senate 53-47-Fox News
In all, the Senate handed President Trump a series of wins throughout the day Tuesday by voting 53-47 nine separate times to effectively kill a series of previous proposals from Schumer to subpoena White House, State Department, Defense Department, and Office of Management and Budget documents, as well as acting White House Chief of Staff Mike Mulvaney, Blair and Duffey, respectively. The party-line votes demonstrated GOP unity at the start of the trial, which is all but certain to result in the president's acquittal. An additional amendment on written responses was tabled by a 52-vote majority. (Read more)
- Father God, today we praise you that so far the SENATE REPUBLICANS stand STRONG and UNITED behind our President! Thank you Jesus!
- "I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds." (Psalms 9:1)
2. Senate rejects subpoenaing Mulvaney to testify in impeachment trial-The Hill
Senate Republicans rejected an effort by Democrats to call White House acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney to testify at the outset of the impeachment trial.
Democrats forced a vote to get language included in the resolution on the trial rules that would subpoena Mulvaney, who previously defied a subpoena to appear as part of the House impeachment inquiry.
But senators voted 53-47 along party lines to table the amendment, effectively killing it. Democrats needed four Republican senators to support their efforts to get a deal on calling Mulvaney to testify as part of the rules resolution. (Read more)
- Father God, we thank you for this victory in protecting President Donald Trump against this extremely illegal and unconstitutional impeachment trial. Continue to deliver the president and acquit him fully in Jesus name, Amen!
- "Although they plot against you, their evil schemes will never succeed. For they will turn and run when they see your arrows aimed at them. Rise up, O Lord, in all your power. With music and singing we celebrate your mighty acts." (Psalm 21:11-13)
3. Whistleblower Was Overheard in '17 Discussing With Ally How to Remove Trump-Real Clear Politics
Barely two weeks after Donald Trump took office, Eric Ciaramella - the CIA analyst whose name was recently linked in a tweet by the president and mentioned by lawmakers as the anonymous "whistleblower" who touched off Trump's impeachment - was overheard in the White House discussing with another staffer how to remove the newly elected president from office, according to former colleagues.
Sources told RealClearInvestigations the staffer with whom Ciaramella was speaking was Sean Misko. Both were Obama administration holdovers working in the Trump White House on foreign policy and national security issues. And both expressed anger over Trump's new "America First" foreign policy, a sea change from President Obama's approach to international affairs.
"Just days after he was sworn in they were already talking about trying to get rid of him," said a White House colleague who overheard their conversation. (Read more)
- Father God, we ask that you would continue to reveal the truth to the hearts and minds of the American public on how deceptive this so-called whistleblower was in accusing president Trump of something he did not do. Let your light expose these lies in Jesus name.

4. Sen. Paul: 45 Republicans ready to dismiss impeachment charges against Trump-Washington Post
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a leading ally of President Trump, said Wednesday that 45 Republicans are ready to dismiss the charges against the president and he would keep pushing to rally a majority of GOP senators to end the impeachment trial.
"There are 45, with about five to eight wanting to hear a little more," Paul said in an interview with The Washington Post. "I still would like to dismiss it, but there aren't the votes to do it just yet."
With support from other Trump allies, Paul said he would continue to pressure his colleagues in the coming days to move on from the trial and listening to the House's Democratic managers, including Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam B. Schiff (D-Calif.). (Read more)
- Thank you God for the unity among republicans in the senate. We ask that you continue to work on the hearts of those being pressured to betray president Trump and give them boldness to do the right thing!

5. Trump admin releases trove of documents on Ukrainian military aid-The Hill
The White House's Office of Management and Budget (OMB) late Tuesday released a cache of nearly 200 documents related to officials' discussions surrounding the withholding of military aid to Ukraine.
The documents - which were released just before midnight in response to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by American Oversight, a watchdog group - featured a host of communications between senior White House official Michael Duffey and other OMB aides, including Mark Sandy and Paul Denaro. Emails from acting OMB Director Russell Vought are also included in the documents.
The records, which are heavily redacted, include a flurry of emails between officials in late June after the Washington Examiner published a story about the Defense Department's plans to send $250 million in security aid to Ukraine. (Read more)
- Father, we pray these documents give favor to President Trump!
- May the favor[a] of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us- yes, establish the work of our hands. (Psalm 90:17)
6. DC sues Trump inaugural committee, alleging abuse of funds-AP News
The District of Columbia is suing President Donald Trump's inaugural committee and two companies that control the Trump International Hotel in the nation's capital, accusing them of throwing parties for the Trump family with nonprofit funds, and overpaying for event space at the hotel.
The district's attorney general, Karl Racine, said the inaugural committee had been "blatantly and unlawfully abusing nonprofit funds to enrich the Trump family." The lawsuit, announced Wednesday, alleges that the committee abused nonprofit funds and coordinated with the Trump family to "grossly overpay for event space" in the hotel.
The committee has maintained that its finances were independently audited, and that all money was spent in accordance with the law. (Read more)

8. We will take a look': Trump to consider entitlement cuts toward end of 2020-Washington Examiner
President Trump said he will begin considering cuts to entitlement spending "toward the end of the year," putting a politically perilous issue in play for 2020 that he had kept off the table in 2016, when he pledged to leave the programs alone.
Trump told CNBC in an interview from the sidelines of the Davos Summit on Wednesday that an increasingly strong U.S. economy will create the perfect moment to consider cuts. "It will be toward the end of the year. The growth is going to be incredible. And at the right time, we will take a look at that."
Spending cuts have technically been on the agenda since at least last year, when the White House budget proposal for fiscal year 2020 proposed trillions in cuts to reach the goal of a balanced budget by 2034. The administration's forecast, which relies on strong economic projections, calls for a $2.7 trillion spending cut over the coming decade. Much of this would come through cuts to entitlement spending, estimated at $1.9 trillion. But none of the entitlement cuts were expected to be enacted in the near term. (Read more)
- Father, give President Trump insights on balancing the budget and making the cuts to entitlement spending.

9. Pro-Life Is Pro-Woman': What to Expect From 2020 March for Life-The Daily Signal
"Life Empowers: Pro-life Is Pro-Woman" is the theme of this year's March for Life, set to take place Friday in the nation's capital. Since 1974, the March for Life has gathered to remember the lives lost since the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade ruling legalizing abortion, and to remind America that each life has value.
People come to March for Life in Washington, D.C., from states all across America....The March for Life is very interesting in that it's a place to come and witness and testify to the beautiful inherent dignity of the unborn person. And yet, ironically, for those of us who participate in the march every year, it's an opportunity for our own hearts and minds to be changed even more about this issue. (Read more)
- Father God, we pray that you would richly bless those who are fighting for the rights of the unborn. We realize these babies are God's ideas, created by you before they were ever in their mothers womb. Let the public and the courts be moved by these truths.

10. US TEAM MEETS MIDEAST OFFICIALS TO DISCUSS PEACE PLAN ROLLOUT-The Jerusalem post
The United States's peace team - Jared Kushner, senior adviser to the president; Avi Berkowitz, special representative for international negotiation; and Brian Hook, special representative for Iran - is holding a series of meetings with Middle East officials and other relevant leaders to discuss a possible rollout of the US administration peace plan. The three are currently attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, where they are expected to stay until Wednesday, before traveling to Israel to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Blue and White leader Benny Gantz.
Earlier this week, Berkowitz also met with Middle East officials in London to discuss the plan, The Jerusalem Post had learned. The sensitive talks are taking place amid growing speculations that the administration could introduce the deal in the upcoming days. While no decision has been made, it is likely that US President Donald Trump will decide whether to release the plan in the coming days in order to avoid making the announcement too close to Israel's elections in March. (Read more)
- Heavenly Father, we lift up to you this meeting between the US Peace Team and the leaders of Israel. We pray for Your will to be done in Israel, as it is in Heaven. We ask You, God the Protector and Defender of Israel, to give divine wisdom to all in attendance and cause their hearts and minds to stand strong for a united Israel. We ask that any plans made in darkness with hidden agendas be revealed and not allowed to violate Your plans and purposes. We pray for the peace, Your Shalom, to fall on Jerusalem. In the name of Yeshua, amen.
- "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee." (Psalm 122:6)
White House Comments
White House Comments:
5 times Adam Schiff just totally made it up today
Wednesday, January 22, 2020
Democrats have based their whole impeachment sham on the word and judgement of Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who pleaded the left's case for 2 ½ hours before the Senate today. Spoiler alert: That wasn't a good idea. Schiff is the worst choice to put in front of Americans fed up with Washington's partisan circus. His only real priority is attacking President Trump, and he's more than happy to resort to lies, leaks, and whatever else it takes to do it.
In September, during a House Intelligence Committee hearing, Schiff made headlines by fabricating a completely made-up version of the July 25th phone call between President Trump and President Zelenskyy of Ukraine. Then, news broke that Schiff's staff had behind-the-scenes contact with the "whistleblower" at the center of the impeachment probe before that complaint was ever even filed.
"We have not spoken directly with the whistleblower," Schiff had claimed before the truth caught up with him. Oops-not the best person to stake Democrats' credibility on.
Today was no different. Schiff's one-sided impeachment report-the document that serves as the basis for Democrats' entire case-is nothing but a partisan hatchet job. Rather than draw more attention to their flimsy, fake "investigation," Schiff chose to deflect and make up more lies about President Trump. Here are a few of the biggest ones:
- Schiff claims that President Trump endorsed the theory that Russia did not interfere in the 2016 election. FACT: President Trump has publicly said, very clearly, that he accepts the conclusion of the intelligence community that Russia interfered in 2016.
- Schiff says that President Trump withheld an Oval Office meeting from President Zelenskyy. FACT: President Trump invited President Zelenskyy to the White House-with no preconditions-on THREE occasions: April 21, May 29, and July 25. They met at the first opportunity, at the UN General Assembly.
- Schiff once again brought up claims of a "quid pro quo." FACT: Notice what's not in Democrats' articles of impeachment? Allegations or accusations of a quid pro quo. They couldn't include that claim-because no such arrangement existed.
- BONUS: Schiff completely misrepresented what Acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney said about foreign policy, Chris Wallace says.
For years, Schiff lied about the Russia hoax, claiming there was evidence of collusion only to be proven wrong by the Mueller Report. This time, House Democrats learned their lesson: Why risk letting the facts get in the way? Impeach first, investigate later-or beg the Senate to do it for them.

Media lies on Richmond gun control protests
An egregious example of fake news in 2020 is the media's manipulation and propagandizing of Monday's protest rally held in Richmond, VA., against the gun control measures proposed by radical leftist Democratic governor Ralph Northam and his Democrat-controlled legislature. The media characterized the protest as white nationalists, racists, bigots, white supremacists, and other right-wing groups pitted against a noble governor who just wanted to stop mass shootings with a few reasonable and harmless gun control measures. The media told the public that all Northam and his Democrat buddies wanted to do was background checks and a limit on hand gun purchases to one a month. Lies of omission.
The media failed to metion that Northam and the leftist legislators had expressed intent to actually go so far as door to door confiscations of guns-and that is what was truly behind the protests. Northam backed a slate of gun control bills that would make some guns illegal and Democrat legislators are mulling over what to do about existing weapons owned by private individuals. Northam hinted in December 2019 that law enforcement may be used to enforce compliance, "If we have constitutional laws on the books and law enforcement officers are not enforcing those laws on the books, then there are going to be consequences, but I'll cross that bridge if and when we get to it." Another VA Democrat, Rep Donald McEachin, suggested the use of the National Guard to enforce the laws, and in doing so, confiscate guns from private individuals.
This prompted many cities and counties in Virginia to vote to become Second Amendment Sanctuaries. All this has been down-played by the media up to the rally in Richmond Monday. Then the media wrote several stories about poor little reporters who were fearful of covering the protests because they might be shot. The media was beating the drum of possible violence, which did not occur. Then AP wrote a story about how the white nationalists played nice, no violence, and that only 22,000 showed up. AP quoted a leftist representative saying that he was surprised so few people came to the protest and that it wouldn't change his mind about the gun controls. That was the largest rally in Richmond in ages.
There is so much wrong about the media coverage of this and their willful ignoring of not only the facts, but the Constitutional rights issues involved. Criminals and leftists are perpetrators of violence, not law-abiding gun-owning citizens- which was proven Monday. To lie about the fundamental crux of the protest-the use of a police state to enforce unconstitutional gun grabs-and to pass off the anger as being generated by background checks, is totally irresponsible. Then to characterize all gun owners in Virginia as white nationalists/supremacists is reprehensible. The media in general demonstrated clearly it is a propaganda arm for a socialist police state. It is shameful. Proverbs 13:5 says, "A righteous man hates lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and comes to shame." And so it is in Virginia's statehouse and media.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY
"God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever." (Galatians 1:4-5)
Lyrics
To God be the glory,
Great things He has done;
So loved He the world
That He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life
An atonement for sin,
And opened the life gate
That all may go in.
Refrain
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father,
Through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory,
Great things He has done.
O perfect redemption,
The purchase of blood,
To every believer
The promise of God;
The vilest offender
Who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus
A pardon receives.
Refrain
Great things He has taught us,
Great things He has done,
And great our rejoicing
Through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher,
And greater will be
Our wonder, our transport,
When Jesus we see.

ARCTIC LIGHT PILLARS
They look like auroras, but they're not. "I saw a brilliant display of light pillars on Jan. 20th," reports Andy Pritchard of Saariselka, Finland. "They were sparkling like static noise."
Pritchard had just finished skiing when the pillars appeared. "We were walking to our cabin and looked back toward the ski slopes to see the lights. They were amazing!"
Light pillars are caused by ice crystals in the air, which intercept manmade lights and spread them into vertical columns. The "sparkling" Pritchard observed was a glinting of light from facets of the blowing, falling crystals. No solar activity is required for the phenomenon. The only ingredients are ice and light bulbs.
Light pillars get their color from the hue of the underlying light bulb. Warm orange corresponds to traditional high pressure sodium lamps, while bright white typically comes from new LED lamps. The slopes in Saariselka appear to be illuminated by a mixture of both.

A Virginia state senator has sounded a warning bell three days before a massive rally is set to coalesce in the commonwealth's capital.
Conservative Sen. Amanda Chase of District 11 took to Facebook on Friday with a warning for every patriot who plans to attend the pro-Second Amendment rally Monday in Richmond.
Daily Brief
US President Donald Trump on Friday mocked and warned Ayatollah Ali Khamenei after the Iranian supreme leader called him a "clown" earlier in the day as he addressed prayers in Tehran. "The so-called 'Supreme Leader' of Iran, who has not been so Supreme lately, had some nasty things to say about the United States and Europe," Trump wrote on Twitter, apparently referring to Khamenei's speech. "Their economy is crashing, and their people are suffering. He should be very careful with his words!" Trump said.
