Trump Says No to Pride Proclamation
White House Won’t Honor ‘Pride Month’ This Year
Asked about any potential presidential proclamations coming down the pipeline during what many on the Left celebrate as “Pride Month,” Leavitt said during a White House press briefing that the administration had no such plans, adding that President Donald Trump “is proud to be a president for all Americans regardless of race, religion, or creed.”

The Trump White House is doing a complete 180 from the Biden administration’s focus on LGBT issues. While Trump celebrated “Pride Month” with a tweet in 2019, he never issued a presidential proclamation for the LGBT festivities.

President Joe Biden, meanwhile, took the “Pride Month” celebration to a new level, releasing proclamations each year he was in office and hosting LGBT activists and social media personalities at the White House. (Daily Wire) Read

- Father God, we are so deeply blessed to see that this administration continues to uphold Biblical values in all they stand for. May President Trump be blessed as he continues to honor the Word of God in all he says and does. In Your name, Holy One, we offer this prayer. Amen and amen.

- "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." (Genesis 1:27)
Army preparing for largest military parade on the capital’s streets in decades, featuring 7 million pounds of hardware

Millions of pounds of military hardware are expected to roll down the US capital’s streets in less than two weeks, fulfilling a dream of President Donald Trump but also sparking concerns about how the roads of Washington, DC, will fare under the literal weight of heavy tanks and fighting vehicles.

The largest military parade the city has seen in decades is expected to bring seven million pounds of vehicles and weaponry as well as a price tag potentially in the tens of millions of dollars, and this week the US Army has started reinforcing the roads that will carry the hardware downtown and along the parade route.

The parade on June 14 will feature dozens of M1-A1 Abrams tanks and Bradley and Stryker fighting vehicles rolling through the streets of DC, as well as Howitzers and other artillery pieces, officials said. Nearly 7,000 soldiers are set to participate.

Most of the tanks, vehicles and equipment are currently en route to Maryland from Fort Cavazos in Texas, and will arrive by train at the rail station in Jessup, Maryland, early next week. They will then be offloaded onto flatbed trucks for onward transport to DC.

But the US Army Corps of Engineers, which has been leading on the effort to protect DC roads and infrastructure, is confident in the mitigation efforts the Army is deploying to minimize damage – efforts that have cost more than $3 million alone so far, Army officials said. The total cost of the parade could be as high as $45 million, officials have estimated.

The damage mitigation efforts include laying steel plates down on roads, particularly at spots where the tanks will make sharp turns; putting new track pads on every vehicle to relieve some pressure and create separation between the metal and the asphalt; and ensuring the tanks move only at a walking pace during the parade itself, the officials said. - Father God, we are grateful that President Trump has seen fit to honor the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the United States Army in such a glorious way! We ask for Your hand of protection to rest upon all who are participating in this vast parade, as well as all onlookers. We bind any spirit of terrorism that would try to raise its ugly head on the glorious day, in Your Name, Abba,
amen and amen!

- "Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor."         (Romans 13:7)
Hegseth joins veterans in Normandy to mark 81st anniversary of D-Day
U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth joined veterans in Normandy, France, on Friday to mark the 81st anniversary of the D-Day landings

Friday marks 81 years since Allied troops, led by American soldiers, stormed the beaches of Normandy in a pivotal moment in the Second World War.

The Allied invasion on June 6, 1944, which became known as D-Day, around 4,400 Allied troops died—including 2,500 Americans—and more than 5,000 were wounded or went missing. But the landing eventually led to the defeat of the Nazis and their leader Adolf Hitler.

Hegseth joined veterans at the American Cemetery overlooking the shore in the village of Colleville-sur-Mer.

French Minister for the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu told Hegseth that France acknowledges what it owes to its American allies who helped liberate them from Nazi occupation.

Hegseth responded that France and the United States should be prepared to stand together and fight again if the moment ever arose, saying "good men are still needed to stand up." (Newsweek) Read more here.
- Father God, as we view the photos that are included in this article, our hearts are thrilled to see the thousands of French and Americans
who marched today, celebrating the victory of D-Day. We pray that, as it was then, so it shall be now; that our two glorious nations continue
to be united in the cause of freedom. In Your Name we offer this prayer, amen and amen!

- "Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the LORD!" (Psalm 150:6)
