World War II veterans travel to Normandy for emotional D-Day commemoration
Some World War II veterans have landed in France to mark the 81st anniversary of D-Day on Friday. A group of about two dozen veterans who served in Europe and the Pacific traveled back to the once bloody beaches of Normandy, the Associated Press reported.
The veterans, who are mostly centenarians, represent the dwindling number of those who were on the front lines defending freedom. The veterans in Normandy are reportedly treated like "rock stars" in the region, being handed notes and hearing many "thank yous." (Fox News)

Singer’s Wife Experiences Radical Miracle While Being Prayed Over: ‘Instant Healing’

Pop and hip-hop musician Bodie said God continues to “speak fresh vision” into his life, saying it’s been “really special” watching the Lord work throughout his personal and professional life. He also shared the most incredible miracle he’s experienced in his life — a radical healing his wife, Royale Kuljian, experienced. “I think a recent physical miracle … is my wife’s eardrum was completely blown out, infected, and not working,” Bodie said. “And the doctors were like, ‘Oh, this is not good.’ And then, that week, we went to church, laid hands on it [and] instant healing, full hearing [came] back right away.”
The performer said the experience was a “pretty cool, tangible miracle” — one that is proof of the Lord’s faithfulness. Royale also spoke about the experience and offered more specific details of her healing. “I had gone to the doctors because it was just gone completely,” she said of her hearing. “And, so, they saw that there was no eardrum even there anymore. JD Vance, Rubio Remind Washington What "America First" Really Means

Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Tuesday night detailed how the America First movement is inspired by pursuing the national interest and empowering everyday Americans.
Vance and Rubio were the special guests for the evening celebrating the fifth anniversary of American Compass — a right-of-center think tank that challenges conventional conservative orthodoxies — and they each delivered remarks explaining how the leadership classes’ failure to deliver for Americans in recent decades motivates the Trump administration’s policy agenda. In a sit-down talk with American Compass founder Oren Cass, Rubio focused his speech on the connections between geopolitics and domestic economic strength. Vance, meanwhile, explained his view that American leaders violated the social contract with millions of Americans.
“I just want normal people who work hard and play by the rules to have a good life. And I think that was very, very possible in the United States of America that I was growing up in, but you started to see some signs that was fraying, and I think it got a lot worse over the course of the nineties and the 2000s,” said Vance. “And that has got to change, and I think that’s fundamentally why Donald Trump is the president of the United States, is because he was the first mainstream American politician to come along and say, ‘This isn’t working. These trade deals are not working for the normal people who power our economy.’”
Vance argued that American institutions and the American government must return their focus to serving the interests of the millions of people who power the country. Moreover, Vance explained that many of the Washington elites he considers responsible for negative outcomes tend to lack the inherent wisdom and common sense of everyday Americans.
“They’re not hyper-ideological. They’re not reading, like, conservative intellectual periodicals, because they have day jobs and families to take care of, but they’re much, much wiser about these things than intellectuals give them credit for,” Vance said of ordinary Americans. “And I take a lot of inspiration from that, but I also take a lot of willingness to kind of test the outer limits, because most of our fellow Americans, they’re not nearly as dumb as Washington, D.C., assumes they are. Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei rejected the Trump administration's offer for a nuclear deal on Wednesday, saying it compromised the country's "national independence."
In an address marking the 36th anniversary of late leader Ruhollah Khomeini, Khamenei said that the "proposal contradicts our nation’s belief in self-reliance and the principle of 'We Can.'"
Last weekend, US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff submitted a proposal to Iran for a nuclear deal, with the Trump administration urging Tehran to accept it or face the consequences.

House Committee Sheds Light on NGO Government Influence

In the wake of repeated comments from Elon Musk calling non-governmental organizations “one of the biggest sources of fraud in the world,” the House Department of Government Efficiency subcommittee held a hearing Wednesday further exploring the nature of their relationship to the government.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., called NGOs the “fifth branch of government” in her opening remarks. “If the permanent bureaucracy is the de facto fourth branch of the government, then these leftist NGOs are the fifth,” Greene said.
Non-governmental organizations are non-profits that typically focus on addressing social, humanitarian, environmental or economic development issues, sometimes internationally. heir missions are often government-adjacent and often contract with the government to carry out government programs, while still operating independently, they’re referred to as “non-governmental.”
However, Greene highlighted that NGOs can receive most – sometimes, nearly all – of their funding from government grants or contracts and then individuals within that organization can donate to the political campaigns of the party that helped secure their funding.
“The scheme works in a cycle… Democrat administration officials work with leftist NGOs to implement programs in a manner that ensures those NGOs receive massive grants and contracts. The leaders of those recipient groups then turn around and donate to Democrat political campaigns,” Greene said.
And because they often work so closely with the government, NGOs can significantly influence federal agency policies and practices.
“Federal agencies fund the NGOs, and the NGOs shape the agency’s behavior. It can be hard to tell, to tell where the government ends and the NGO begins. The nonprofits essentially serve as an arm of the government,” Greene said. (Discern Report) Read more here.

1. Bodies of murdered US-Israeli hostages Gadi and Judith Haggai recovered from Gaza, IDF confirms - Christian Post
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israel Security Agency (ISA) announced in a joint statement on Thursday morning that they had located and recovered the bodies of hostages Gadi Haggai (72) and Judith Weinstein-Haggai (70) from within the Gaza Strip. The bodies were found in the Khan Younis area.
The couple, who were dual American-Israeli citizens and residents of Kibbutz Nir Oz in southern Israel, were brutally murdered and their bodies taken into Gaza on Oct. 7, 2023, following the Hamas-led attack that left 1,200 Israelis and foreign nationals dead and resulted in the abduction of 251 people to Gaza.
The couple was killed by the Palestinian Mujahideen terrorist organization, which is also responsible for the deaths of the Bibas family. (Read more)

2. Israel Recovers Bodies of 2 Slain Hostages From Gaza - Algemeiner
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet security agency recovered the bodies of two deceased hostages during a special operation in Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office announced on Thursday.
Gadi Haggai and Judith Weinstein-Haggai, a married couple with US citizenship, were murdered during their morning walk near their home in Kibbutz Nir Oz on Oct. 7, 2023, when Hamas-led Palestinian terrorists invaded southern Israel and perpetrated the largest single-day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. Their bodies were taken to Gaza as hostages.
“We will not rest or be silent until we return all of our abductees home — the living and the dead alike,” Netanyahu said in a statement. “Together with all citizens of Israel, my wife and I convey our heartfelt condolences to the dear families. 3. IDF strikes Hezbollah facilities in Beirut's Dahiyeh - Israel Hayom
Reports from Lebanon on Thursday evening indicated that the Israeli Air Force carried out "roof-knocking" strikes in the Dahiyeh neighborhood of Beirut, triggering panic and traffic jams in the city's southern suburbs. The incidents followed warnings from the Israel Defense Forces, prompting many residents to flee areas near Hezbollah installations shortly after the IDF spokesperson announced plans to target the terrorist organization's drone infrastructure in Beirut.
According to the IDF, the targeted facilities are located in the heart of civilian neighborhoods in Dahiyeh and are operated by Hezbollah under Iranian direction. The military said Hezbollah, with Iranian guidance, is working to manufacture thousands of unmanned aerial vehicles in preparation for a future conflict—activity it said contravenes understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
Arabic-language IDF Spokesman Lt. Col. Avichay Adraee issued a warning Thursday evening to residents of southern Beirut, urging immediate evacuation of buildings marked in red on accompanying maps due to their proximity to Hezbollah sites. The IDF this evening (Thursday) identified the launch of a missile from Yemen toward Israeli territory, IAF aerial defense systems are operating to intercept the threat.
Minutes after the official statement, sirens were heard in dozens of communities across the country, including the Jerusalem area, Judea, Gush Etzion, Mateh Yehuda, and Modi'in.

2. Can Jews admit that Trump is right about woke antisemitism? – JNS News
The Boulder attack is more proof that a cause chanting for the genocide of Israelis is inextricably linked to violence against American Jews.
It was no coincidence that on the same day that much of the mainstream media swallowed
Hamas lies about Israelis slaughtering people in the Gaza Strip, that another violent
antisemitic attack occurred in the United States. What happened in Boulder, Colo., on June
1, when an Egyptian immigrant attempted to incinerate a group of American Jews, many of
them elderly, who were walking in a public space on behalf of the remaining Israeli hostages being held by Hamas, was a horrifying crime.
But this third incident of violence in recent weeks—following the murder of two young Israeli embassy employees in Washington last month and the attack on Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro’s home in Harrisburg on Passover—cannot be separated from the avalanche of anti-Israel propaganda coming out of the mainstream liberal media in the last 20 months since the Hamas-led Palestinian Arab terror attacks on southern Israeli communities on Oct. 7, 2023.
As such, it means that American Jews should do something many of them would prefer to avoid: accept that many of their erstwhile political allies on other issues who have embraced “pro-Palestine” advocacy are part of a movement that is inextricably tied to antisemitism. (Read more)

President Donald Trump has ordered an investigation into whether officials in the Biden
administration illegally exercised presidential power by using an autopen—a device that
reproduces a presidential signature—without President Joe Biden’s direction.
A June 4 memorandum signed by Trump directs his administration to investigate “whether
certain individuals conspired to deceive the public about Biden’s mental state and
unconstitutionally exercise the authorities and responsibilities of the President.”
In the memorandum, Trump wrote: “In recent months, it has become increasingly apparent
that former President Biden’s aides abused the power of Presidential signatures through the use of an autopen to conceal Biden’s cognitive decline and assert Article II authority.
“This conspiracy marks one of the most dangerous and concerning scandals in American
history. The American public was purposefully shielded from discovering who wielded the

4. Trump Bans New Visas for Foreign Nationals From 12 Countries – The Epoch Times
The proclamation will not limit ’the ability of an individual to seek asylum, refugee status,
withholding of removal, or protection.’
President Donald Trump on June 4 issued a full suspension on new visas for foreign
nationals from a dozen countries applying for entry to the United States and a partial
suspension on nationals from another seven.
The proclamation is set to go into effect at 12:01 a.m. ET on June 9.
A full suspension will go into effect for nationals from Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, the
Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and
Yemen. A partial suspension will affect nationals from Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone,
Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela.
Trump stated that the entry of these persons “would be detrimental to the interests of the
United States,” and “their entry should be subject to certain restrictions, limitations, and

The Media’s Economic Gaslighting—Recession or Reality?

If you’ve been paying attention to mainstream media lately, you might think the U.S. economy is teetering on the edge of a cliff. With every headline screaming “recession,” it’s hard not to feel a sense of impending doom. Yet, a closer examination of the data reveals a much different picture—one that contradicts the narrative being pushed by some outlets. The facts show that the economy, while facing challenges, is far from the collapse the media would have you believe. A closer look at the key economic indicators—inflation, unemployment, gas prices, the stock market– challenge the media’s recession claims, and paint a picture of an economy recovering from four years of Biden-era socialist economic policies.
Recent media narratives point to what they keep saying as “troubling signs,” claiming that a recession is inevitable. They report that the GDP contracted by 0.3% in the first quarter of 2025, marking the first decline since early 2022. This, combined with a Moody’s downgrade of the US credit rating due to rising federal debt and fiscal deficits, has the media ginning up fears of an economic meltdown. They harp on consumer confidence concerned about inflation, tariffs, and global instability. All these factors are a residual of the Biden administration. Debt and deficits skyrocketed under Biden. Controversial airport watchlist program terminated by DHS amid weaponization concerns

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is ending the Quiet Skies program, which left some Americans subject to additional screenings at airport security.
The department says the agency was overly politicized to either benefit or hurt specific people and ran a bill of roughly $200 million annually. According to DHS, the program kept a watchlist as well as a list of people exempted. The department says Quiet Skies has not prevented any terrorist attacks but will continue to use other methods to assure safe air travel.
"It is clear that the Quiet Skies program was used as a political rolodex of the Biden Administration — weaponized against its political foes and exploited to benefit their well-heeled friends. I am calling for a Congressional investigation to unearth further corruption at the expense of the American people and the undermining of US national security," DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement.
DHS says that the list of exemptions of people who avoid "security policies" included "foreign royal families, political elites, professional athletes, and favored journalists."
The program that started in 2010 was seen as a terror prevention method, and it faced escalating scrutiny from the left and right, including groups like the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
"TSA’s critical aviation and security vetting functions will be maintained, and the Trump Administration will return TSA to its true mission of being laser-focused on the safety and security of traveling public. This includes restoring the integrity, privacy, and equal application of the law for all Americans," Noem continued. (Fox News) Read more here.

Thank You that their lists—political friends and the watch list of their political enemies—will no longer be used by Democrats to enable their cohorts to breeze through or around security as they travel, as well as their friends in high places, and to secretly monitor those considered to be a threat to their ambitions.
Father it is both criminal and disgusting that ‘foreign royal families, political elites, professional athletes, and favored journalists’ could circumvent security protocols and be on their way. It is also unconscionable that travelers had no idea they were being watched and secretly investigated, nor did they know records were kept and hidden for an undetermined time and purpose. Thank You that the Quiet Skies Program was made public, that it is being eliminated and that travel security will now be a division of Dept. of Homeland Security under Sec. Kristi Noem. May those who jeapordized our national security while working at Quiet Skies be brought to justice and hidden records be revealed to those who were improperly under surveillance.

US vetoes UN Security Council resolution calling for Gaza ceasefire

The United States on Wednesday vetoed a UN Security Council resolution calling for an “immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire” between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, the release of all the hostages and unhindered aid access across the enclave.
“The United States has been clear we would not support any measure that fails to condemn Hamas and does not call for Hamas to disarm and leave Gaza,” Acting US Ambassador to the UN Dorothy Shea told the council before the vote.
“This resolution would undermine diplomatic efforts to reach a ceasefire that reflects the realities on the ground, and embolden Hamas,” she said of the text that was put forward by 10 countries on the 15-member council.
The other 14 countries on the council voted in favor of the draft as a humanitarian crisis grips the enclave of more than 2 million people, where international organizations assert famine looms, and where aid has only trickled in since Israel lifted an 11-week blockade last month.
The Security Council vote came as Israel pushes ahead with an offensive in Gaza after ending a two-month truce in March. Gaza health authorities said Israeli strikes killed 45 people on Wednesday, while Israel said a soldier died in fighting. (Times of Israel) Read more here.

- Abba Father, we know that Israel and her people are the apple of Your eye and that You will bless those who bless Israel and curse those that curse Israel. What grief You must carry as more and more of the world's nations seem to be coming against Your Land. We bless You, dear Abba, and thank You that the United States has vetoed the U.N. Security Council resolution calling for a Gaza ceasefire. We pray, Lord, that You would bring about Your good plans for Israel, and that Israel’s leaders would clearly hear Your voice and only do what they see and hear the Father doing.
We say a resounding ‘NO’ to any new UN resolutions that come forth in the same vein. May Israel not submit to appeasement and submission which, ultimately, will not bring peace to Israel, only more terror. Lord, empower and embolden Your people, Israel, to move forward in Your strategies.
We ask that Hamas become only a very bad memory and that the Palestinians begin to finally repent and cease their evil desires to overtake Israel. Abba, show them Your good plans for them.
Even so, Lord Jesus, come quickly!

Elon Says 'It's Time to Drop the Really Big Bomb,' Launches Vile Accusation Against Trump

The rapidly escalating feud between President Donald Trump and former Department of Government Efficiency head Elon Musk has taken a deeply personal turn.
At first, most barbs between the two were primarily policy-based and related to the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” as Musk chimed in with a faction of fiscal conservatives deeply concerned about the spending bill’s impact on the national debt.
But the ex-DOGE leader veered down a decidedly dark path Thursday afternoon.
Musk took to the social media platform he owns and dropped what he called “the really big bomb” involving disgraced film financier and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Epstein was a wealthy financier and hedge fund manager who ran in elitist and powerful circles with many elite, powerful friends. Epstein’s career came crashing down when he was convicted in 2008 for soliciting minors, as noted by USA Today.
That led authorities to further investigate, which eventually resulted in Epstein being charged with sex trafficking minors. He would ultimately commit suicide while in custody, though there is ample public skepticism surrounding that claim.
(The FBI is insistent that the official narrative is true.)
With Epstein — and answers — gone, there has been a great public interest in knowing just who those aforementioned elite, powerful friends are, and to know whether they were a part of some elaborate sex trafficking scheme.
This deeply personal shot from Musk at Trump comes as the two both dig in their heels regarding the “Big Beautiful Bill.”
Musk and fiscally conservative Republicans like Rep. Thomas Massie and Sen. Rand Paul, both of Kentucky, feel that the congressional spending bill, which is currently going through potential Senate revisions before a final vote, will have devastating consequences on the national debt. - Father God, it is so sad to see our national leaders fall to this depth of "mud-slinging." We ask you to forgive both Elon Musk and President Trump for their recent actions and words spoken against each other. We ask that You dispatch one of Your Holy Angels to stand between these men, diffusing the impact of their words. We bind the spirit of hostility that has now gained ground between them, and we loose peace.
We ask, too, dear Lord that each one would agree to put the past behind them, calling our nation to a new season of greatness. Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. In Your Holy Name, we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

‘Living Fossil’ Fish Photographed for First Time
in 70 Million Years

It's one thing to rediscover a species that hasn't been seen for a few years but to stumble upon a species that has been missing for more than 70 million years is worth mentioning. This "living fossil" was photographed nearly 475 feet below the ocean’s surface for the first time ever.
This ancient fish was caught on camera for more than 70 million years in Indonesian waters by marine biologist Alexis Chappuis and support team, UNSEEN Expeditions. While the coelacanth was famously rediscovered in 1938 and later photographed in shallow Indonesian waters in 1998, these new images capture it actively navigating its twilight-zone ecosystem.
"The coelacanth, often mistakenly called a 'living fossil' or 'dinosaur fish,' had been known from fossils dated back to more than 400 million years – way before dinosaurs – and was thought to be extinct until 1938, when a specimen was discovered in a fishing net off the coast of South Africa.
