One of the most stunning reports came from Josh Howerton, pastor of Lakepointe Church in the Dallas area of Texas. He posted on social media that the response to their gospel presentation "was nothing short of powerful," with 2,772 people making first-time decisions to follow Jesus.

Vice President JD Vance said Sunday that high-stakes talks between the U.S. and Iran ended without a deal after Iranian officials refused to accept American terms.
Speaking during a press conference from the Serena Hotel in Islamabad, Pakistan, Vance said Iran has "chosen not to accept our terms."
"The bad news is that we have not reached an agreement," Vance said. "And I think that's bad news for Iran much more than it's bad news for the United States of America."
The vice president said talks with Iranian officials lasted 21 hours, describing them as "substantive discussions," but adding the U.S. was unwilling to compromise on its "red lines."
"So we go back to the United States, having not come to an agreement. We've made very clear what our red lines are, what things we're willing to accommodate them on and what things we're not willing to accommodate them on," Vance added. "And we've made that as clear as we possibly could, and they have chosen not to accept our terms."
Fox News Digital’s Preston Mizell asked Vance if he had been in contact with President Donald Trump during the talks, and the vice president said he had been "consistently."
"I don't know how many times we talked to him — a half dozen times, a dozen times over the past 21 hours," Vance said, adding that the U.S. team was also communicating with other members of the Trump administration, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.
"So, look, we were constantly in communication with the team because we were negotiating in good faith," Vance said. "And we leave here with a very simple proposal, a method of understanding that is our final and best offer. We'll see if the Iranians accept it."
Vance arrived in Pakistan early Saturday to lead high-stakes negotiations with Iran aimed at preserving a fragile ceasefire announced by Trump earlier this week and preventing a broader regional war.
Vance was joined by U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, as part of a senior delegation engaging Iranian officials in Islamabad. (Fox News)

Tensions reportedly escalated during overnight U.S.-Iran talks in Islamabad, with negotiations breaking down amid a heated exchange between senior officials.
According to a report published by Israel Hayom, the meeting began with a handshake between Iranian delegation head Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, alongside tea and refreshments, but quickly deteriorated as accusations were directed at U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
The confrontation escalated into shouting, prompting Pakistani mediators to intervene and separate the delegations.
Turkish journalist Cetiner Cetin claimed on X that the exchange nearly turned physical, writing: “A few minutes ago, there was tension between Minister Abbas Araghchi and Witkoff that nearly led to a physical fight due to serious disagreements over the management of the Strait of Hormuz. Never threaten the Iranians.”
According to The New York Times, citing Iranian officials familiar with the talks, key disputes remain over reopening the Strait of Hormuz, the fate of Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile, and Tehran’s demand for the release of roughly $27 billion in frozen assets.
U.S. officials reportedly pushed for the immediate reopening of the strait, but Iran rejected the demand, saying there will be no change until a broader agreement is reached.

President Donald Trump detailed a sweeping "all-or-nothing" U.S. blockade of the Strait of Hormuz in a "Sunday Morning Futures" exclusive interview, vowing to choke off Iran’s oil profits and warning that no country — ally or adversary — will be allowed to bypass the crackdown.
"We're not going to let Iran make money on selling oil to people that they like and not people that they don't like... It's going to be all or none and that's the way it is," Trump said.
"You saw what we did with Venezuela. It'll be something very similar to that but at a higher level."
The president told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo that the policy would be strictly "all or nothing," meaning every country would either be allowed full access through the waterway or none at all, with no exceptions for allies.
"We think that numerous countries are going to be helping us with this also, but we're putting on a complete blockade," he said.
Trump announced the blockade in a Truth Social post shortly before the broadcast, blaming the decision on a failure to reach a deal with Iran during talks in Pakistan this weekend.
"So, there you have it, the meeting went well, most points were agreed to, but the only point that really mattered, NUCLEAR, was not. Effective immediately, the United States Navy, the Finest in the World, will begin the process of BLOCKADING any and all Ships trying to enter, or leave, the Strait of Hormuz," he wrote in part.
"At some point, we will reach an 'ALL BEING ALLOWED TO GO IN, ALL BEING ALLOWED TO GO OUT' basis, but Iran has not allowed that to happen by merely saying, 'There may be a mine out there somewhere,' that nobody knows about but them. THIS IS WORLD EXTORTION, and Leaders of Countries, especially the United States of America, will never be extorted," Trump continued.
Trump's post continued, declaring that U.S. forces will begin destroying mines laid in the strait while detailing his instructions for the Navy to "seek and interdict" every vessel in International waters that has paid an "illegal" toll to Iran.

Pelosi, California Dems slam Swalwell over bombshell sexual assault allegations: 'Indefensible'

California Democrats, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., have come out against Democratic gubernatorial candidate Eric Swalwell after multiple bombshell reports were published Friday accusing Swalwell of sexually assaulting a former female staffer and allegedly sexually harassing other female staffers.
Amid repeated denials and cease and desist letters sent by Swalwell's lawyer Thursday, one of the alleged victims shared her story publicly for the first time, accusing Swalwell of taking advantage of her while she was intoxicated.
The alleged victim's story also included claims Swalwell pressured her to send naked pictures of herself and sent sexually explicit photos of his own, pulled out his private parts while driving in a car with her and requested she perform oral sex on him.
She said these and other incidents affected how Swalwell treated her professionally.

Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir ordered a heightened state of alert following the collapse of the U.S.-Iran ceasefire talks in Islamabad on Sunday morning, according to Hebrew media reports.
The IDF has shifted into an readiness protocol similar to those implemented in the days leading up to past campaigns against the Islamic Republic, according military sources cited by Ynet, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
As part of Zamir’s directive, the military has been ordered to maintain high operational readiness across all units, shorten response times and address any existing operational gaps. Planning and execution processes are also being accelerated, the sources added. (Read more)

3. Israel pummels Hezbollah’s ‘last stronghold’ in southern Lebanon - JNS
Israel Defense Forces entered Bint Jbeil, a city in southern Lebanon on Sunday, Israel’s Channel 12 reported. The army has called it the “last stronghold” of the terror group Hezbollah that threatens northern Israeli settlements. It expects to conquer it in the coming days.
Lebanon’s National News Agency on Sunday described “violent clashes” in the city amid Israeli artillery shelling. The IDF said dozens of terrorists have fled to Bint Jbeil, which it has surrounded for several days.
Bint Jbeil is considered a symbol of Hezbollah “resistance.” Its former Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah delivered his infamous “cobweb” speech from the city on May 26, 2020 during Israel’s evacuation from Lebanon under then-Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak.
“This Israel, with its nuclear weapons and most advanced warplanes in the region, I swear by Allah, is actually weaker than a spider’s web,” Nasrallah said. “Israeli society is war-weary and lacks the resilience to endure a bloody conflict or suffer casualties. Israel may appear strong from the outside, but it’s easily destroyed and defeated.”

Florida Republican Rep. Maria Salazar’s migration bill is a high-stakes attack by business groups on the wages of her party’s populist-minded voters.
“Here’s what matters most,” Salazar said in a poll-tested, talking-point response to populist criticism from Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX):
“It costs ZERO taxpayer dollars. Reduces the deficit. Invests $70 BILLION into our [employers’] workforce.”
“It’s really simple” for business lobbyists, Gill told a radio show:
“They want cheap labor …They want illegal aliens in the country. Because for them, that is bigger profit margins whenever you suppress American wages, or whenever you’re able to replace more expensive American workers with cheaper illegal aliens or other [visa worker] foreigners. That increases their profit margin. I mean, it’s really, really simple for them.”
Salazar’s bill provides work permits to at least 12 million illegal migrants. That flood of legalized migrants would slash wages, goose profits, and expand the Gross Domestic Product number — all of which is desired by investors on Wall Street and by boomer retirees in suburbia.
But her bill also shrinks the per-person income needed by ordinary Americans, destroys opportunities for young Americans, and also shrivels the incentive for companies to raise productivity — even as China invests in high-tech production, autos, and robots.

House Democrats are weighing a long-shot scenario to remove President Donald Trump using the 25th Amendment but are declining to say whether they’ll act before the November midterm elections.
House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Jamie Raskin, D-Md., will brief congressional Democrats Friday afternoon on the constitutional mechanism that would rely heavily on Trump’s Cabinet agreeing to push him out of office.
The 25th Amendment has never been used before to involuntarily remove a president and is effectively moot without widespread Republican buy-in. But a bevy of House Democrats have embraced that scenario following the president’s escalating conflict with Iran.
"Donald Trump’s deranged threat to destroy ‘a whole civilization’ in Iran is a threat to commit war crimes and genocide," Raskin wrote on social media Tuesday. "Republicans in Congress must prevail upon Vice President Vance, now campaigning for Putin’s puppet Viktor Orban in Hungary, to return to the U.S. and invoke Section 4 of the 25th Amendment." 3: Planned Parenthood Report Shows Record Number of Babies Killed in Abortions- Breitbart
Planned Parenthood released a report over Easter weekend showing a record number of abortions between 2023-2024.
The abortion giant’s service data is a year behind, with the 2024-2025 report showing the number of abortions the organization carried out between 2023 and 2024.
According to the report, titled “Care Continues,” Planned Parenthood aborted 434,450 unborn babies in that time period. The pro-life Charlotte Lozier Institute (CLI) released an analysis of the report, showing an 8 percent increase from the previous year and a 34 percent increase since 2014.
“Yet again, abortions performed by Planned Parenthood hit a record high, demonstrating that abortion remains a top priority for the organization,” CLI Senior Research Associate Tessa Cox said in a statement.
The report shows that prenatal services, miscarriage care, and adoption referrals accounted for only 1.7 percent (7,685), 0.6 percent (2,852), and 0.7 percent (3,038) of the organization’s other services. (Read more)

4: Biden-appointed judge at center of repeated clashes with Trump administration issues new immigration block- Fox News
A Biden-appointed federal judge twice rebuked by the Supreme Court temporarily blocked another Trump administration immigration priority, postponing the termination of temporary protected status (TPS) for Ethiopians living in the U.S.
Judge Brian Murphy of Massachusetts, who has become a frequent legal hurdle for the Trump administration, found that the Department of Homeland Security did not follow proper protocols when it decided to cancel the TPS of more than 5,000 Ethiopians in the United States.
DHS' decision would have made the migrants eligible for deportation in 60 days and aligned with the Trump administration's goal of dramatically narrowing the government's use of TPS as part of its immigration crackdown.
Conservatives lashed out at Murphy on social media for dealing another loss to the president they perceived as unjust. Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., said the ruling was not subject to judicial review under federal immigration law. Murphy had found that DHS did not meet the necessary conditions under the law to legally cancel TPS. (Read more)

5: USPS halts pension contributions after warning of looming cash crisis – Fox Business
The United States Postal Service is suspending employer pension contributions for workers beginning Friday, citing a looming cash shortfall, the agency announced Thursday.
The move, which affects the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS), comes just weeks after the Postal Service warned Congress it could run out of cash in under a year without significant reforms, including changes to pension funding and stamp prices.
USPS emphasized that the pause will have no immediate impact on current or future retirees.
"There will not be any immediate detrimental impact to our current or future retirees if normal FERS cost payments are temporarily withheld," Postal Service Chief Financial Officer Luke Grossmann said. (Read more)

6: Canada Poised To Criminalize Christianity With Ban On Citing Biblical Truths - The Federalist
Leftists may claim that they work for the common good, but what really drives them is often nothing less than religious fanaticism.
Case in point: Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and his new anti-Christian bill (C-9). Not content with the current hate speech laws in force in Canada, Carney is pushing stricter restrictions on speech with a new law that would prohibit using religious texts as a defense of speech the left deems offensive. According to a report in The Telegraph, “Bill C-9, the Act is a wide-ranging piece of legislation aimed at targeting what Carney’s government claims is ‘rising anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, homophobia and transphobia.’”
Already, Canada punishes citizens like Derek Reimer, who called drag queen story hour events “pervert grooming sessions,” with fines and jail time while assigning mandatory training to public intellectuals like Jordan Peterson who refuse to use preferred pronouns. Presumably, they will apply these punishments to the more polite protesters who quote the Bible as their reason for disapproving of sexual fetishists and predators reading to young children. According to the minister of Canadian identity and culture, he just could not, as The Telegraph put it, “understand how the concept of good faith could be invoked in quoting such passages.”
It should go without saying that Bill C-9 will do absolutely nothing to help anyone feel safer. Although some Muslims have raised objections to the new bill, no one really believes that any Canadian resident will face legal punishment for referencing the Quran or Hadiths for rejecting transgenderism. Rather, as a protected class, Muslims will face no legal repercussions for their beliefs and can even legally charge any Christian daring to criticize the Muslim faith with Islamophobia.
Nor will Bill C-9 do anything to remedy Canada’s moribund economy, crumbling welfare state, or expanding culture of death. Bible-thumping Christians aren’t the ones facilitating mass migration from the Third World, nor are they the ones capping oil wells and giving away vast swathes of valuable land to the descendants of the country’s indigenous tribes, so punishing them won’t help. On the contrary, they represent what’s left of Canada’s dwindling middle class. (Read more)

Artemis II astronauts splash down after first moon mission in more than 50 years
|

The four Artemis II astronauts splashed down off the coast of San Diego Friday evening following a 10-day mission that marked the first manned moon mission in more than 50 years at 5:07 p.m. Pacific Time.
The crew launched from the Kennedy Space Center April 1 and traveled around the moon, 252,000 miles from Earth, flying farther from Earth than any previous mission.
After NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman landed on the USS John P. Murtha ahead of the splashdown, he shared a massage for those helping with the recovery of the astronauts.
"I have no doubt that you're all going to execute this flawlessly as we get these astronauts who will just complete an absolute historic mission, traveling further into space than any humans have gone before," he said.
"For the first time, we've gone into the lunar environment in more than half a century," he added. "We are back in the business of sending astronauts to the moon again."
Isaacman added that once Artemis III launches in 2028 for the first moon landing in decades, NASA plans to stay and build a moon base. (Fox News) Read more here.

Department Of War Leaker Nabbed In Journalist Tip Case As Kash Patel Signals Next Move

The FBI has arrested a former Army employee accused of leaking classified information to a journalist.
FBI Director Kash Patel said Wednesday that Courtney Williams, 40, a former employee at Fort Bragg who previously held top security clearance, has been charged with transmitting classified national defense information.
“FBI and our partners have arrested a former [Special Operations Command] employee, who supported our top-level military warfighters, for allegedly transmitting classified information to a member of the media. Outstanding work by [FBI Charlotte] and the FBI Counterintelligence & Espionage Division – as well as our [Justice Department] partners,” Patel said.
“Let this serve as a message to any would-be leakers: we’re working these cases, and we’re making arrests. This FBI will not tolerate those who seek to betray our country and put Americans in harm’s way,” he added.
In a subsequent post, Patel suggested that more arrests over leaks were “coming.” The arrest follows statements by President Donald Trump threatening jail time for reporters who decline to identify sources in connection with a leak about a downed American aircraft.
Williams held top security clearance from 2010 to 2016. Authorities say that from 2022 to 2025, she communicated with an investigative journalist through more than 10 hours of phone calls and 180 text messages. Supreme Court blocks candidate after alleged GOP infiltration scheme exposed

The Supreme Court on Thursday rejected a self-described "progressive" candidate’s bid to enter Ohio’s Republican primary, leaving in place a decision by state election officials to disqualify him for misrepresenting his party affiliation.
Samuel Ronan, a former Democratic state and national candidate, attempted to run as a Republican in Ohio’s 15th Congressional District against GOP incumbent Rep. Mike Carey. To do so, he signed a declaration of candidacy — under penalty of election falsification — swearing he was a member of the Republican Party.
However, court documents filed in U.S. District Court note Ronan was caught publicly admitting that his candidacy was part of a calculated strategy to run Democrats as Republicans in "deep red districts" to "get a foot in the door."
A Republican voter, Mark Schare, filed a protest with the Franklin County Board of Elections, presenting social media posts and interviews as evidence of Ronan's scheme to "trick" GOP voters. (Fox News) Read more here.

If you’ve ever read the account of Jehoshaphat in the Bible, you remember how the Lord caused the armies coming against him and the people of Judah, to turn on each other, eventually defeating themselves in the process giving him the victory.
It's maybe not to that point yet (unfortunately), however, the infighting among the IRGC in Iran that began after a 2-week ceasefire was announced by President Trump, has grown to the point of spilling out onto the streets in Tehran.
Hardliners have been railing against the more moderate (however still brutal) members of the Islamic regime, screaming out "Death to the compromisers!"
Iran International reports: Senior Iranian officials are locked in a dispute over the composition and authority of the delegation set to negotiate with the United States in Islamabad, according to information received by Iran International. The IRGC commander-in-chief Ahmad Vahidi is seeking to curb the authority of Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in the talks. Vahidi has also pushed for the inclusion of Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, in the negotiating team—a move opposed by current members, who consider him lacking experience for strategic negotiations. At the same time, Vahidi and the IRGC Aerospace Force commander have stressed that the delegation must avoid any negotiations over Iran’s missile program.
This certainly makes coming to the table to hammer out an agreement with the US for ceasefire, and an end to the current phase of the war much more difficult.

Still, Vice President JD Vance has traveled to Pakistan, where the—albeit unlikely—agreement will be explored and negotiated.
Meanwhile, the IRGC has reportedly continued to gaslight the people of Iran, who have been kept in the dark with no internet—with the exception of the few that were able to hold onto their Starlink receivers. (Before the airstrikes began, the regime had gone door-to-door searching for those with Starlink, and confiscating them)

Archaeologists in Egypt have uncovered rare papyrus scrolls — and the "valuable" items are yielding remarkable insights.
The eight rare papyri, found along with a "cache of colorful coffins of Amun chanters," date back to the Third Intermediate Period, which lasted from 1070 B.C. to 664 B.C. The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced the discovery just last month.
The scrolls were uncovered during an excavation in the Qurna area on Luxor's West Bank, near the tomb of Seneb.
Excavators found the ancient scrolls in a large pottery vessel, with some even bearing their original, 3,000-year-old clay seals.
"They vary in size and are considered a valuable source of information, with the world awaiting the results following their restoration and translation," the translated release said.
