Why Is No One Talking About the Manufacturing Boom?

Beneath the cacophony of media noise, an important untold story emerges: A manufacturing boom is unfolding across America right now, and especially so in the geographic center of the country.
This developing boom represents an epochal shift because investments in factories and tangible production involve the stickiest kind of capital expenditures. The commitment to production involves a macro “bet” on a yearslong cycle, not a near-term wager on the latest fad or concerns about the price of gasoline next week.
As such, this mostly hidden story deserves to be studied and amplified, both for the economic benefits and also for the possible political windfall for candidates on the populist right.
But before considering the import of this shift, it’s important to look at the numbers, the verifiable on-the-ground data sets that prove this new reality. Why America's Socialist Movement has Israel in its Crosshairs
|
|
When it comes to the Democratic Socialist Movement, the agenda laid out is fundamentally economic: Medicare for all. Free college. Stronger unions. Higher taxes on the wealthy. Government-funded housing. A dramatically larger social safety net. Even, in some cases, government-run grocery stores.
But increasingly, another issue has become deeply embedded in America’s socialist movement: opposition to Israel and Zionism. Look at the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), the country’s most prominent socialist organization. The connection is impossible to miss.
The DSA doesn’t just criticize individual Israeli governments or Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. No, that’s low-hanging fruit. The organization formally supports the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, calls for ending U.S. aid to Israel and routinely describes Israel as a “settler-colonial” and “apartheid” state.
It’s that last point, the colonialism aspect, where the DSA explicitly tries to connect Palestinian liberation to its larger socialist project. So to understand why so many DSA-backed candidates hold strongly anti-Israel positions, you first have to understand that the organization doesn’t view Israel as an isolated foreign-policy question.

Justice Department Charges 11 People in Alleged Marriage Fraud Scheme Involving Over 1000 Sham Marriages
|

The network, which ran from at least 2016 through July 2026, was based in New York City but functioned nationally and arranged sham marriages between foreign nationals and United States citizens.
he Justice Department announced charges Wednesday against a group of 11 people who were allegedly tied to a decade-long marriage fraud network allegedly involving more than 1,000 sham unions.
The two-count indictment charged the individuals with conspiring, over the course of more than a decade, to orchestrate more than 1,000 fake marriages to fraudulently obtain immigration status for foreign nationals, primarily Chinese citizens. Some individuals paid up to $100,000 per sham marriage.
The network, which ran from at least 2016 through July 2026, was based in New York City but functioned nationally and arranged sham marriages between foreign nationals and United States citizens.
The foreign nationals paid up to $100,000 for the fake marriage and American citizens tied to the scheme were paid $30,000 for their roles. Recruiters were paid as much as $5,000 for each citizen that agreed. Read more

A Proper Knowledge of Israel and Eschatology is Essential to Our Understanding of God's Word
|
|
I wonder if people ask you, like they ask me, “Why do you focus so much on Israel? Why not focus only on the gospel and how to live out our Christian lives today?”
Here are eight reasons why the Bible says Israel really does matter so much and why Christians should focus on the nation.
1. Without Israel, we do not have the gospel.
Jesus said that “salvation is of the Jews” (John 4:22). The message of reconciliation and peace with God didn’t originate with any Gentile nation or even the church. It was through God’s promise to Abraham, of descendants and a great nation, that the world would be blessed (Genesis 12:1–3). God set apart Israel for His purposes and to represent Him in the world (Exodus 19:5–6).
2. Without Israel, we do not have our Jewish Savior, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, according to the flesh, is the descendant of Israel’s patriarchs—Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Romans 9:5). He is identified with the people of Israel, as the apostle John wrote, “He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him” (John 1:11). Jesus also confirmed He was the King of the Jews (Mark 15:2).
3. Without Israel, we do not have the revelation of God’s Word and will for our lives.
The covenants, the giving of the Law, the service of God, and the promises belong to Israel (Romans 9:4). These are presented throughout the Old Testament Scriptures for our knowledge and benefit (2 Timothy 3:16–17). We also owe our New Testament Scriptures to Jewish authors.
4. Without Israel, we do not have a tree of spiritual blessing to be grafted into. By God’s grace, Gentiles have been “grafted into the olive tree” (cf. Romans 11:17–18). This tree represents the covenantal blessings of salvation, originally given to Israel, through the Abrahamic Covenant. Gentiles are therefore commanded not to have any arrogance toward Israel in its temporary rejection of Christ, for Gentiles are not the root source of blessing but participants by God’s grace.
5. Without Israel, we do not have the foundation of the church.
The church was built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, who are of Israel (Ephesians 2:2). Furthermore, the composition of the early church was predominantly Jewish. The church gradually transitioned to a greater “Gentile membership” under the ministry of the apostle Paul. However, we owe the establishment of the Christian church to Jewish believers in Christ.
6. Without Israel, we do not have the Second Coming of Jesus.
Biblical prophecy reveals that, in response to Israel calling on His name, Jesus Christ will return in glory to this earth to save the nation at the climax of the Tribulation. Jesus declared to Israel, “You shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD’” (Matthew 23:39).

1. Gaza lookouts warn of October 7 echoes as Hamas tests IDF response
- Israel National News
IDF lookouts serving in two different sectors in the Gaza envelope have been warning in recent days that they have been noticing suspicious individuals and Hamas terrorists approaching the yellow line, which demarcates the IDF-controlled area in the Gaza Strip, daily. According to the lookouts, the terrorists constitute a threat, but the forces on the ground do not receive authorization to eliminate them.
Speaking to Channel 12, the soldiers claim that Hamas is taking advantage of the situation to test each time how the IDF reacts to its terrorists' actions.
One of the lookouts described a feeling that reminds her of the period leading up to the October 7th Massacre, "I feel like October 6th. The only difference is that we see it on the yellow line and not on the fence." According to the lookout, the Gazans are continuously examining whether the IDF is responding to their activities: "It's literally like before October 7th." (Read more)

2. Security officials warn: Rising settler-Palestinian friction could ignite Judea and Samaria - Israel Hayom
The events of recent days have once again proved that Judea and Samaria, the West Bank, is on the verge of an eruption. According to senior Israeli security officials, the situation on the ground has become so chaotic that there are serious concerns about an imminent resurgence of Palestinian terrorism. The concern stems from growing friction between the Palestinian and Jewish populations, coupled with what officials describe as Israel's glaring failure to enforce the law against Jewish lawbreakers and rioters who act with impunity.
The widely reported events in the Palestinian village of Qusra in recent days are a microcosm of what is happening throughout Judea and Samaria, encouraged and supported by coalition MKs and ministers who repeatedly declare that Areas A, B and C no longer exist and that the Oslo Accords should be scrapped.
In fact, the house in Qusra that Jews took over is only one of many Palestinian homes that Jews have taken over. This particular case attracted significant media attention because the family involved has US citizenship. 3. 21 years after Disengagement, Samaria town of Ganim resettled
- World Israel News
Israeli families moved into the reestablished northern Samaria community of Ganim on Thursday, 21 years after Israel evacuated and demolished the settlement as part of the 2005 disengagement, marking another major step in the government’s effort to reverse the withdrawal from four Samaria communities.
Thirty families moved to the site after dozens of prefabricated homes were brought in to accommodate residents.
A branch of the Bnei David yeshiva in Eli is also being established there.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who also holds authority over civilian affairs in Judea and Samaria through a ministerial position in the Defense Ministry, attended the return and portrayed it as the correction of what he has long described as a historic wrong.
Smotrich said Israel was “erasing the disgrace of the expulsion” from northern Samaria, referring to the 2005 evacuation. (Read more)

President Isaac Herzog marked the sixth anniversary of the Abraham Accords on Wednesday, writing on X that the milestone was "an important moment to reflect on the remarkable partnerships that we have built across our region."
"It is also a moment to look to the future and chart the road ahead together," Herzog wrote. "I firmly believe that this is just the beginning. Now is the time for us all to work to expand this circle of peace across the Middle East to the benefit of all our peoples."

5. Bank of Jerusalem stock plummets, revives amid rumors over employee’s disappearance in Vienna -Times of Israel
The Bank of Jerusalem’s stock swung erratically on Thursday, suffering sharp drops followed by partial recoveries, amid rampant speculation over the disappearance of bank employee Mali Yahalomi and unsubstantiated social media rumors that bank funds were somehow involved.
At one point the stock lost some 12 percent. It then largely recovered, and as of 2 p.m. was down about 2%.
Yahalomi, 50, vanished with her daughter Liel, 23, in Vienna on Friday, and Israeli and Austrian authorities are probing their disappearance. (Read more)

Moderate Democrats trying to steer their party back into a position of electability in November – when not just their party's voters decide the outcome of races, appeared to get a little help in Tuesday's primaries when democratic socialist Francesca Hong lost her bid to become Wisconsin governor.
"They didn't admit they wanted to grab guns, but now they're admitting that," Paul Renner, a Florida Republican gubernatorial candidate, recently told Just The News. "They didn't admit that they were socialists. Now they're just saying, 'yeah, we're socialists.'"

We pray against the spirit of confusion that has entered the Democratic party and those who stand with them. We are grateful that the moderate Democrats are beginning to turn away from the Democratic Socialists although there is still a fine line between them. Lord, continue to expose and dismantle the DSA party who hate Israel and want to destroy our Constitution.
It is our prayer, Father, that people's eyes and ears will be opened to the truth! May they turn from their wicked ways of voting and vote righteously in the upcoming elections. We plead the blood of Jesus over this alarming article that could put the United States and its allies and partners at risk. The military partnership between Russia and China is a potential threat against the United States according to retired Rear Admiral Mark Montgomery.
Lord, we pray that this unity between Russia and China, that muffles submarine sounds making them harder to detect, will be destroyed by Your mighty hand! We pray for increased technology for the U.S. and Israel as we enter battles that we have never seen before. Father, we pray for You to expose every wicked agenda between China and Russia and neutralize their weapons!

3. Jury Selection Begins in Major Youth Addiction Case Against Meta – The Epoch Times
Twenty-nine states allege that the company unlawfully collected children’s data, with four also accusing it of designing addictive platforms. Jury selection began on Aug. 12 in a federal trial over allegations that Meta Platforms designed Facebook and Instagram to be addictive to children.Twenty-nine state attorneys general are part of the suit against the social media platform.
The Oakland, California trial is expected to last nearly two months and will first hear allegations by California, Colorado, Kentucky, and New Jersey that Meta’s design was created to keep young people hooked and mislead users about safety.
Additionally, the trial will cover claims by all 29 states that the company illegally collected children’s data in violation of federal law. Meta spokespeople deny these claims, saying they are confident that the case will show the company’s commitment to supporting youth.
“We strongly disagree with these allegations and are confident the evidence will show our longstanding commitment to supporting young people,” a spokesperson for Meta told The Epoch Times in an emailed statement. Read more

4. Major Supermarket Chain Closes at Least 39 Stores as Nationwide Overhaul takes Shape - Fox news
Kroger has closed at least three dozen stores since announcing plans last year to shutter 60 locations that were not "delivering sustainable results" by the end of 2026.
The Cincinnati-based grocery giant did not release a full list of stores or banners slated for closure, but online searches listed 39 locations across nine banners as no longer operating. Local reports also confirmed that many of the locations were part of the broader store overhaul.
As of January 2026, Kroger operated 2,697 supermarkets across 35 states under roughly 20 banners, including Fred Meyer, Fry’s Food and Drug, Harris Teeter, Jay C, King Soopers, Mariano’s, Pick ’n Save, QFC and Ralphs, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
The company said the closures are intended to help it "run more efficiently and ensure the long-term health of our business," according to FOX 26 Houston, which reported that two Houston-area locations were slated to close in April. Read more

Abba, we wonder why so many supermarkets are closing. You know what is behind all of this, as these stores were no longer profitable for Kroger. Perhaps prices became too high for many, or lots of customers moved their business to the ‘Big-Box Stores’. Abba, we are concerned that some people in the neighborhoods where the stores are closing may not have consistent access to a grocery store that charges reasonable prices. We stand in the gap for any in this predicament and ask You, as our Father and Creator, to provide bread—natural and spiritual-- for Your children in need—please open their eyes to Your kind and merciful provision of food for their souls and bodies.
Lord, we ask that You give wisdom and guidance to the CEO’s at Kroger and show them Your plans for their grocery chain. May they become the blessing that You would like them to be, and may You bless the work of their hands as they follow. In Yeshua’s name, Amen.

Father God, we thank You that the Green Bay City Clerk, Celestine Jeffreys, has resigned her position, opening the way for an honest counting of the ballots in that district in November. We thank You, too, that these hidden things have been revealed. We ask that Your light would shine throughout the State of Wisconsin, so that no darkness, evil or deception would prevail there. Thank You, O Lord, in Your Holy Name, amen and amen!

The full health consequences of the COVID vaccines may never be known because the manufacturers purposely contaminated the control groups designed to help determine future impacts. Pfizer and Moderna originally divided trial participants between vaccinated and placebo groups, creating a scientific comparison that could have followed health outcomes for years. But after emergency authorization, many placebo participants received the vaccine. This act effectively dismantled much of the long-term randomized control group. Thus there can be no long-term health outcomes comparison between vaccinated and unvaccinated trial participants. You cant “follow the science,” when the “science” is compromised.
There were other warning signs. In 2021, The British Medical Journal reported that Brook Jackson, a regional director at Ventavia, a company conducting portions of Pfizer’s vaccine trial, raised concerns about data integrity, participant unblinding, inadequately trained vaccinators, protocol deviations and slow follow-up of adverse events. She reported those concerns to the FDA and was fired by Ventavia that same day. The BMJ reported that the FDA did not inspect Ventavia’s trial sites following her complaint. Meanwhile, post-authorization surveillance identified myocarditis and pericarditis recognized risks associated with mRNA vaccination. The CDC now acknowledges such evidence. DNA recovered from centuries-old mummies in Chile has provided the strongest evidence yet that smallpox arrived in the Americas after European colonization.
The recent research, published in the journal Science, centers on Chilean mummies whose ancient DNA yielded evidence of smallpox infections dating to the early colonial period.
Geneticist Shigeki Nakagome of Trinity College Dublin and his colleagues analyzed 13 bone samples previously collected from an archaeological site at Camarones in northern Chile.
They then uncovered evidence of two smallpox infections in one man and one woman believed to have died between 1492 and 1631.
While historians have long known that smallpox reached the Americas following European contact, the discovery marks the first evidence of the disease in that part of South America.
The research raises questions about how the virus traveled so far south.
Smallpox, which was eradicated in 1980 and no longer naturally circulates, was once one of the world's deadliest diseases.
It killed roughly one-third of those infected. Those who survived the disease were often left disfigured and scarred.
