Muslims in Gaza Describe Life-Changing Dreams of Jesus
|
|
On a recent episode of The Rosenberg Report, Joel Rosenberg shared the story of a man in Gaza who had a dream where “Jesus appears to him and says, ‘You’re my man. You’re my man in Gaza. Tell everyone about me.’” He has embraced that mission, leading Muslims to faith in Jesus even in the midst of war. According to Rosenberg’s guest Tom Doyle, “Once they come to faith in Christ… God replaced the hate with love,” with new believers even praying for the Jewish people they once considered enemies.
Joanne Doyle described meeting women in Gaza who live “desperate lives,” with abuse so common that “literally every single woman no matter their age” in one gathering admitted to experiencing it. Many have dreams about Jesus, saying, “I have felt safe in the presence of a man when I’ve been with Jesus.” Doyle also told the story of “Dina,” a preschool teacher who refused to teach jihad during Hamas training camps, saying, “I don’t want to do that. I want to teach them that Jesus is the good shepherd,” even though she knew she “could be killed for that.” (Charisma news) Read More Here and Watch Video>

- Abba, we REJOICE to hear the testimonies from Muslims in Gaza of encounters with Jesus! We pray for Holy Spirit Fire to fall upon that territory to bring many more to salvation in Christ. May these stories in Gaza of personal experiences with Yeshua spread wide and far, unveiling eyes and hearts for Your Holy Kingdom. We lift all Praise to You and declare conversions to Christianity will cause a miraculous shift upon that territory for God's plans and purposes to be accomplished for His Kingdom! By the Blood of the Lamb, we pray- Amen and Amen.
- "I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see." (Rev. 3:8)

Russian drone strikes kill 7 in Kharkiv during Zelenskyy's White House meeting with Trump
|
|
Just as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Washington, D.C., to meet President Donald Trump at the White House, Russia routed his nation with airstrikes on Monday, killing 10.
Seven people, including a toddler and a 16-year-old, were killed by a Russian drone strike on the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, according to local authorities.
Ukrainian officials took the strikes as a message from Russian President Vladimir Putin that he has no intention to end the war.
"That’s why Putin doesn’t want to cease fire," Andriy Yermak, Zelenskyy’s chief of staff, wrote on Telegram. "He enjoys shelling peaceful cities while talking about his desire to end the war."
Video footage of the aftermath released by local authorities shows a residential building where the upper levels collapsed, with firefighters hosing it down as smoke rises from the rubble.
A partially blurred photo released by Ukraine’s emergency services appeared to show a firefighter holding the limp body of a child.
Ihor Terekhov, the mayor of Kharkiv, wrote on Telegraph that he believed the attack on the residential building was "deliberate."
"Five enemy ‘Shaheds’ approached it from different directions and targeted people who were peacefully sleeping at five in the morning," he said, referring to armed drones. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Lord God, we continue to cover Ukraine and Russia in the blood of Jesus. We speak to all violence or chaos as a result of these talks that it would cease and desist, and would not cause more harm or damage to the Russian people or the Ukrainian people in the name of Jesus. We pray Your perfect peace over Russia and Ukraine that drives out all fear, in Jesus' name, amen.

European Leaders Will Join Zelenskyy at White House Meeting With Trump
|
|
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be accompanied by European and NATO leaders during his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump on Aug. 18, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Aug. 17.
Zelenskyy’s previous meeting with Trump at the White House in February was cut short after the sit-down turned into a heated exchange, leading to the Ukrainian president’s early exit from the talks.
“This afternoon, I will welcome [Zelenskyy] in Brussels,” Von der Leyen, head of the European Union’s executive branch, posted on X on Aug. 17.
“At the request of President Zelenskyy, I will join the meeting with President Trump and other European leaders in the White House tomorrow.”
Other European leaders also announced that they will attend the meeting with Trump on Aug. 18, including British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, and NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte.
Their presence at the White House talks underscores Europe’s goal of ensuring that it has a voice at the table during any negotiations over peace between Russia and Ukraine. Trump is working on a deal to end the war following his summit on Aug. 15 with Russian President Vladimir Putin. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

Give Zelenskyy, President Trump, and all European leaders wisdom during these important talks. We continue to pray peace over these two countries, that your love and your perfect peace will surround them silencing all chaos and confusion, in Jesus' name, amen.
- “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.” (2 Thessalonians 3:16)

Russia rejects NATO-style security guarantee for Ukraine
|
|
The Russian Foreign Ministry roundly rejected the idea of NATO forces serving as peacekeepers in Ukraine, a provision sought by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his European allies in U.S.-brokered peace talks.
"We confirm the position that has been voiced more than once about our categorical rejection of any scenarios involving the appearance of Ukraine military contingent with the participation of NATO countries (which is fraught with an uncontrolled escalation of the conflict with unpredictable consequences)," a foreign ministry statement reported by Russian state media outlet Ria read.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President Donald Trump at the White House on Monday, alongside several European allies. Trump has urged Zelenskyy to accept a land swap deal with Russia after meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday.

President Donald Trump already suggested a European-led peacekeeping force to ensure Russia does not invade Ukraine again would be a part of peace talks. Asked if U.S. would contribute forces, Trump said: “[Europe is] first line of defense, because they're there, they're Europe, but we're going to help them out also, we'll be involved.”
Congressional lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have indicated they are ready to pass sanctions against Russia following the current recess set to end in a few weeks.
"As peace talks continue today in Washington, the U.S. Senate stands ready to provide President Trump any economic leverage needed to keep Russia at the table to negotiate a just and lasting peace in Ukraine," Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., said Monday on X. (Fox News) Read more here.

Zelenskyy Says He Needs 'Everything' from Trump in Order to Agree to a Peace Deal
|
|
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he will need “everything” from the United States in terms of military support when it comes to entering into a peace deal with Russia.
“What sort of security guarantees do you need from President [Donald] Trump to be able to make a deal? Is it American troops? Intelligence? Equipment? What is it?” USA Today reporter Francesca Chambers asked.
“Everything,” Zelenskyy answered.
He then elaborated, explaining that guaranteeing Ukraine’s security includes two parts. First, ensuring his own military is strong and well-equipped. And second, direct military backing, apparently with troops on the ground from “big countries” like the U.S., along with European nations.
Trump did not directly answer a question regarding whether he would be willing to send American peacekeepers to Ukraine.
Do you think the White House meeting between Trump and Zelenskyy will lead to a peace deal?
“Well, we’re going to work with Ukraine. We’re going to work with everybody, and we’re going to make sure if there’s peace, the peace is going to stay long-term,” the president said.
Asked if he would rule out U.S. troop involvement, Trump responded, “We’ll let you know that, maybe later today.”
“When it comes to security, there’s gonna be a lot of help,” he added. European nations are the “first line of defense, because they’re there, they’re Europe. But we’re going to help them out also. We’ll be involved,” Trump said. (Western Journal) Read more here.

1. Report: Israeli tanks advancing on Gaza City's Sabra neighborhood
- Israel National News
The Saudi al-Hadath news network reported on Monday evening that the Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip are continuing regardless of the developments in the negotiations with Hamas.
According to the report, IDF tanks are advancing toward the Sabara neighborhood in Gaza City, accompanied by aerial cover.
At the same time, Hamas's "Ministry of Health" briefed the Arab media and claimed that since midnight, 20 Palestinian Arabs were killed in the Gaza Strip. (Read more)

2. Hamas Accepts Proposed Deal for Ceasefire With Israel and Hostage Release, Egyptian Source Says - Algemeiner
Hamas has accepted the latest proposal for a 60-day ceasefire with Israel that includes the return of half the hostages the terrorist group holds in Gaza and Israel‘s release of some Palestinian prisoners, an Egyptian official source said on Monday.
Senior Hamas official Basem Naim wrote on Facebook: “The movement has handed over its approval to the new proposal presented by the mediators.”
Israeli media quoted Israeli sources as saying the Hamas response had been received.
There was no official response from Israel, but in a video from his office Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: “I, like you, hear the reports in the media, and from them you can get one impression – Hamas is under immense pressure.”
The Egyptian official source said the latest proposal included a suspension of Israeli military operations for 60 days and a path to a comprehensive deal to end the nearly two-year war. (Read more)

3. Israeli officials: all hostages must be released in any ceasefire deal
- World Israel News
Following the announcement that Hamas has accepted the most recent proposal for a hostage release and cease-fire deal, an Israeli official emphasized that the government will agree only to the release of all of the hostages at once.
The current deal would release 10 living hostages during a 60-day truce in fighting in exchange for 140 Palestinian prisoners, of whom 60 are serving at least 15 years or more for serious offenses.
This deal would mean that 10 living hostages would remain in Gaza.
Israeli sources reiterated earlier statements that the government demands the release of all 50 living and dead hostages.
During the time of the truce, the proposal demands that the IDF withdraw up to one kilometer in the northern and eastern areas of the Gaza Strip, excluding the neighborhoods of Al-Shujaiya and Beit Lahia. (Read more)

4. Israel kicks out Australian diplomats after visa row - Israel Hayom
Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar announced on Monday the immediate revocation of residence permits for Australian representatives to the Palestinian Authority operating in Israel, while implementing comprehensive screening procedures for all Australian visa applications. The decisive action responds directly to Australia's discriminatory visa denial targeting MK Simcha Rothman and former Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked, coupled with the Albanese government's move toward recognition of Palestinian statehood.
Three registered diplomatic personnel residing within Israeli territory face immediate expulsion, with their authorized status terminating without delay. "We're talking about days, not weeks," a senior Israeli official emphasized regarding the departure timeline, accounting only for essential logistical arrangements. The Australian ambassador received official notification of this decision, while Israel's Canberra embassy received instructions to scrutinize every official Australian entry request.
Australia's Home Affairs Department had cancelled MK Simcha Rothman's visa mere hours before his scheduled departure, undermining his planned solidarity mission with Australia's Jewish community confronting unprecedented antisemitic violence. Rothman intended visiting the Adass Israel synagogue in Melbourne following its destruction in a targeted antisemitic arson attack. (Read more)

5. 1,600 years of care: Archaeologists in northern Israel uncover world’s earliest home for elderly -Times of Israel
Israeli archaeologists believe they have found the world’s oldest home for the elderly to date during excavations at the Hippos National Park near the Sea of Galilee, the University of Haifa announced on Monday.
The discovery made by researchers from the university focused on an ornate mosaic medallion dated to the late fourth or early fifth century bearing the Greek inscription “Peace be with the elders,” which was found close to one of the most impressive mosaics at the site, the researchers said.
“This is living proof that care and concern for the elderly are not just a modern idea, but were part of social institutions and concepts as far back as about 1,600 years ago,” said Dr. Michael Eisenberg of the University of Haifa’s Zinman Institute of Archaeology, who co-directed the excavation project. 2. Flash floods kill hundreds in Pakistan - AP News
BUNER, Pakistan (AP) — Flooding in a northwest Pakistani district has killed at least 220 people, officials said Saturday, as rescuers pulled 63 more bodies overnight from homes flattened by flash floods and landslides, with forecasts of more rain in the coming days.
One eyewitness, who escaped the deluges in Buner, described seeing floodwaters carrying hundreds of boulders and “tons of rocks” crashing down.
Hundreds of rescue workers are still searching for survivors in Buner, one of several places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province where torrential rains and cloudbursts caused massive flooding on Friday, said Mohammad Suhail, a spokesman for the emergency services. 4. Netanyahu insists on comprehensive deal for all hostages; won't end war unless all his demands met - The Times of Israel
In a statement issued tonight amid reports of a revived Hamas willingness for a phased ceasefire-hostage deal, the Prime Minister’s Office insists on a comprehensive deal in which all hostages are freed at once and all of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s conditions are met.
The statement reads: “The Prime Minister’s Office clarifies that Israel will agree to a deal on condition that all the hostages are released in one go, and in accordance with our conditions for ending the war that include the disarming of Hamas, the demilitarization of the Gaza Strip, Israeli control of the Gaza perimeter, and the installation of non-Hamas and non-Palestinian Authority governance that will live in peace with Israel.”
Hamas negotiators in Cairo this week signaled a willingness to come down from demands they made last month that led to the collapse of hostage talks in Doha, an Israeli official and an Arab diplomat familiar with the matter told The Times of Israel yesterday.
There have been multiple reports in recent days of ostensible Hamas flexibility and its possible willingness to return to the so-called Witkoff proposal for a 60-day ceasefire-hostage deal, in which half the living hostages would be released, with provisions for negotiations on a permanent end to the war. 5. Aug.15: Lebanese PM blasts Hezbollah leader’s ‘unacceptable’ threat of civil war over disarmament - Times of Israel
In a message to Lebanon’s new President Joseph Aoun, Katz says Israel views Beirut as “directly responsible for enforcing Lebanon’s sovereignty and upholding the ceasefire agreement.”
The Lebanese government has been working to disarm Hezbollah, but has sometimes been criticized for not doing so effectively. Critics of Israeli policy, however, argue that carrying out such strikes too regularly without giving the Lebanese government the opportunity to dismantle Hezbollah on its own may risk undermining the first-ever government that has expressed a genuine willingness to address the issue. 6. US Justice Department announces Jew-hatred advisory committee - JNS.org
Pamela Bondi, the U.S. attorney general, decided that it is “necessary and in the public interest” to create an Anti-Semitism Advisory Committee, according to an Aug. 13 notice that the U.S. Department of Justice published in the Federal Register on Friday.
The federal advisory committee, which will operate for two years, will advise Bondi and department staff and “promote coordinated, timely and effective responses” to Jew-hatred, per the notice.
The body will support U.S. policy “to combat antisemitism vigorously, using all available and appropriate legal tools,” the Justice Department stated. Among the subjects upon which it will advise the department are protecting Jews on campus, securing synagogues and other Jewish sites, and coordinating with federal, state and local law enforcement.
It will also raise public awareness about Jew-hatred and support “interagency efforts to address antisemitism across various sectors.” (Read more)

Are You Walking Close to the Heels of God?
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, August 18, 2025
Moses begins his second address to Israel in Deuteronomy 7:12, saying, “Because you are listening to these rulings, keeping and obeying them, ADONAI your God will keep with you the covenant and mercy He swore to your ancestors.” The Hebrew root for “because” (akav) means “heel,” evoking the image of following closely on the heels of God’s instruction. God promised they would be “blessed above all peoples” and need not fear the Canaanites, for He would go before the Israelites and drive out their enemies. The same truth applies today. When our steps stay in stride with God’s Word, we walk in the shadow of His promises, under the shelter of His covenant love.
Moses reminded Israel how God sustained them through 40 years in the wilderness. “He humbled you, allowing you to become hungry, and then fed you manna…to make you understand that a person does not live on food alone but on everything that comes from the mouth of ADONAI” (Deuteronomy 8:3). Jesus quoted this during His 40 days in the wilderness (Matthew 4:4), succeeding where Israel had failed. God was bringing them into a good land—flowing with springs, wheat, barley, vines, figs, pomegranates, oil, and honey where they would lack nothing. In return, they were to bless the LORD for the good He had given (Deuteronomy 8:10). To bless God is not just to thank Him, but to invite His presence into every experience, great or small, revealing His goodness in the details of daily life. Read More

Trump hails US war tech as key to Ukraine’s defense in meeting with Zelenskyy
|
|
|
President Donald Trump, meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday, praised the strength of America’s military-industrial base and stressed that U.S. weapons are key to Kyiv's resistance against Russia.
"You mentioned the Patriots—how good are they?" Trump asked Zelenskyy, referencing Raytheon's missile system.
"They're literally 100% fool-proof. It's really like two bullets hitting each other in the air," Trump said, describing the Patriot's hit-to-kill technology.
Trump said that during his administration, U.S. policy has focused on selling military technology to European allies instead of directly financing weapons packages. He estimated that under former President Joe Biden, Washington supplied Kyiv with more than $300 billion in U.S. military equipment.
"We're not giving anything now," Trump clarified when asked how much the U.S. will continue to give to Ukraine. "We're selling weapons."
Zelenskyy thanked Trump for the opportunity to buy American-made defense equipment and noted that Europe and NATO allies have helped Ukraine cover the costs.
"Nobody in Europe has air defense [systems] like Patriot, for example. We need it very much," Zelenskyy said, referencing U.S. weapon production capability. (Fox News) Read more here.

Stronger, bigger Hurricane Erin forecast to create dangerous surf along US coast
|
|
|
MIAMI (AP) — A stronger and bigger Hurricane Erin pelted parts of the Caribbean and was forecast to create dangerous surf and rip currents along the U.S. East Coast this week.
It reintensified to a Category 4 storm with 130 mph (215 kph) maximum sustained winds early Monday and moved closer to the Southeast Bahamas, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami.
Around 5 a.m. Monday, Erin was about 105 miles (170 kilometers) north-northeast of Grand Turk Island and about 915 miles (1,470 kilometers) south-southeast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. The storm was moving northwest at 13 mph (20 kph).
Hurricane-force winds extended up to 60 miles (95 kilometers) from the center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 230 miles (370 km). The area of strong winds is expected to grow more over the next few days. At that size, Erin will impact coastal areas even though it isn’t forecast to make a direct landfall.
Dare County, North Carolina, declared an emergency and ordered an evacuation beginning Monday of Hatteras Island on the Outer Banks, the thin stretch of low-lying barrier islands that juts far into the Atlantic. Several days of heavy surf and high winds and waves could wash out parts of N.C. Highway 12 running along the barrier islands, the National Weather Service said.
Erin, the year’s first Atlantic hurricane, reached an exceedingly dangerous Category 5 status Saturday with 160 mph (260 kph) winds before weakening.
“You’re dealing with a major hurricane. The intensity is fluctuating. It’s a dangerous hurricane in any event,” Richard Pasch of the National Hurricane Center said. (Breitbart)

Experts Discover Over 86,000 Earthquakes Hiding Underneath Yellowstone Volcano — Thanks to AI
|
|
Although millions of tourists visit the Yellowstone National Park each year, the ground beneath their feet hides a secret that often goes unnoticed unless the visitor is an eagle-eyed scientist. It carries fire within its belly. Deep within the grounds of its central-western portion, a 34 by 45-mile magma chamber sits, per SciShow. But a recent study published in the journal Science Advances has uncovered yet another mystery that lurks inside this belly of Yellowstone caldera - over 86,000 earthquakes hidden in the cracks and crevices of this monstrous volcano.
Noting in the study, scientists report that the Yellowstone volcano is one of the most seismically active volcanoes on the planet. Bordered by a ring formed by volcanic eruptions nearly 2 million years ago, the volcano sits in a giant crater inside the Yellowstone National Park, promising a potential destructive explosion that could send volleys of nearly 350 miles of ash and dust into the air to cover an entire island.
AI reveals the truth
In this research, scientists employed machine learning to discover that the volcanic belly endured around 86,276 eruption events between 2008 and 2022. Using artificial intelligence, the team studied both the tectonic and magmatic composition of this volcano to extract nearly 15 years of seismic data, which unleashed the stunning mystery.
The research was led by Western University engineering professor Bing Li, in partnership with researchers from the Industrial University of Santander in Colombia and the U.S. Geological Survey. After studying the seismic processes and bursts of seismic events unfolding underneath the Earth’s crust, they uncovered evidence of this chain of undetected earthquakes, also called “earthquake swarms.” Read More
