EXCLUSIVE: New Data Shows Arrests of Criminal Illegal Aliens Have Made a ‘Real Impact on Public Safety,’ DHS Official Announces
|
|
Violent crime is on the decline in the U.S. following the arrest and removal of criminal illegal aliens, the Department of Homeland Security announced Monday. “Under President Donald Trump and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, our law enforcement is working at lightning speed to remove violent criminal illegal aliens from the U.S.,” Tricia McLaughlin, DHS assistant secretary, said in a press release given first to The Daily Signal. “Every single day we are arresting gang members, murderers, pedophiles, and violent predators,” McLaughlin said, adding, “70% of Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrests are of illegal aliens who have been convicted or charged with a crime. These arrests and deportations of criminal illegal aliens are having real impact on public safety.”
During the first six months of 2025, homicides fell 17% across 30 U.S. cities when compared with the first half 2024, according to the Council on Criminal Justice, an independent research organization, which has just published its midyear report on crime trends in U.S. cities. In the first six months of 2025, there were “10% fewer reported aggravated assaults, 21% fewer gun assaults, 10% fewer sexual assaults, and 3% more domestic violence incidents” when compared to the time last year, according to the report. Robberies are also down 20% and carjacking fell by 24%. Vehicle theft was rising from the summer of 2020 through 2023, according to the Council on Criminal Justice, but the trend began reversing in 2024. Since Trump returned to office on Jan. 20, the Trump administration has arrested nearly 300,000 illegal aliens and deported more than 239,000, according to DHS. (Daily Signal) Read More Here
- Father, we give thanks for an amazing report, showing declining crime rates across our cities, with the deportation of convicted illegal aliens. This great news brings much relief, especially for those living in 'sanctuary cities'. We ask for double-portion blessings upon President Trump, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and Border Czar Tom Homan in their relentless efforts to bring safety and security back into our country. We pray for deported individuals; May those who've committed past crimes come into heartfelt repentance and turn towards Jesus, so their lives may be transformed. We give all GLORY to God for His plans and purposes being established, here on earth as it is in heaven! In the powerful Name of Yeshua, we pray- Amen.
- "But whoever listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of disaster." (Proverbs 1:33)

Trump admin imposes sanctions on PLO, Palestinian Authority
|
|
The U.S. State Department imposed sanctions on the Palestine Liberation Organization and Palestinian Authority on Thursday over their “pay-to-slay” payment scheme for terrorists.
The department said that the organizations had fallen afoul of the PLO Commitments Compliance Act of 1989 and the Middle East Peace Commitments Act of 2002.
“It is in our national security interests to impose consequences and hold the PLO and P.A. accountable for not complying with their commitments and undermining the prospects for peace,” the department stated.
The P.A. and PLO are also illegally “initiating and supporting actions at international organizations that undermine and contradict prior commitments in support of Security Council Resolutions 242 and 338, taking actions to internationalize its conflict with Israel, such as through the International Criminal Court and International Court of Justice,” according to the State Department.
The U.N. Security Council passed Resolutions 242 and 338 in the wake of the 1967 and 1973 wars, respectively. The resolutions call for a ceasefire between all parties and a “withdrawal of Israel’s armed forces from territories occupied in the recent conflict.” (JNS.org) Read more here.
|
|
- Lord, we praise You for these sanctions against an entity that has celebrated the deaths of hundreds, even thousands of Your people. Their promotion of money to terrorists should have ceased decades ago. We pray that You will remove every vestige of the terrorism against both Israel and the US in this region and beyond.
- "I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:3)

Lawmaker unveils 'ERIC ADAMS Act' threatening criminal penalties for sanctuary city mayors
|
|
A House lawmaker is making a push to hold mayors of sanctuary cities responsible for illegal immigrants committing murder within their jurisdictions. Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Ga., is introducing the Establishing Responsibility for Illegals’ Crimes and Adding Deterrence and Accountability for Mayors’ Sanctuary Cities Act, or the ERIC ADAMS Act, on Friday. If passed, the bill would open sanctuary city mayors to criminal liability if illegal immigrants living there were found guilty of murder.
It's named after New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who is up for re-election this November. Carter, meanwhile, is running to unseat Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-Ga., in the November 2026 midterms.
The bill's introduction comes days after the Trump administration moved to sue the Big Apple for its sanctuary policies, one of multiple such lawsuits President Donald Trump's officials are pursuing against Democrat-run cities and states. (Fox News) Read more here.
|
|
- Father, we ask that You stop the sanctuary movement and help the people understand that they are bringing criminals into their cities and states in the name of “compassion.” It is Your compassion that is real, living, and life-changing -- not the fake one that only causes harm.
- “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20)

Trump Drops The Hammer On Canada,
Pushes Mexico To Cut A Trade Deal In 90 Days
|
|
President Donald Trump signed an executive order late Thursday evening, raising the tariff on Canadian imports to 35% effective at midnight, while granting Mexico another 90 days to negotiate a trade deal with the United States.
The actions come as the August 1 deadline arrived for countries with trade deficits with the United States to reach new trade agreements, but Trump said they won’t take effect until August 7 for most nations. In a Truth Social post, Trump praised ongoing talks with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, while he ripped Canada for failing to crack down on drug trafficking. Trump also said that he would not raise tariffs on Mexico beyond current levels for 90 days.
“I have just concluded a telephone conversation with the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, which was very successful in that, more and more, we are getting to know and understand each other. The complexities of a Deal with Mexico are somewhat different than other Nations because of both the problems, and assets, of the Border,” Trump posted on Truth Social Thursday night. “We have agreed to extend, for a 90 Day period, the exact same Deal as we had for the last short period of time.”
The current deal hits Mexico, America’s top trading partner, with a 25% tariff imposed because of fentanyl trafficking over the southern U.S. border, a 25% tariff on vehicles, and a 50% tariff on steel, aluminum, and copper. (Daily Wire ) Read more here.

- Lord of Justice, the leftist party that runs Canada has “recognized” Palestine, which is a region, not a country. This, coupled with failure to help stop fentanyl, has left President trump in a difficult position. While was love Canadians, and their visits here are a driver of money to US businesses, rewarding Hamas and the drug cartels is unacceptable. WE ask for great wisdom for our President and his administration, as well as revelation of truth to come to Canadian leadership. bers

Trump Fires Labor Statistics Chief After July Jobs Report
|
|
President Donald Trump announced on Aug. 1 that he has directed the termination of the commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
Writing in a Truth Social post shortly after the July jobs report, Trump accused BLS Commissioner Erika McEntarfer of manipulating the job data and falsifying the employment numbers before the 2024 election “to try and boost [2024 presidential candidate Kamala Harris’s] chances of victory.”
“We need accurate jobs numbers,” the president said. “She will be replaced with someone much more competent and qualified. “Important numbers like this must be fair and accurate, they can’t be manipulated for political purposes,” he added.
His comments come as the BLS reported that the U.S. economy added 73,000 new jobs last month, below the consensus forecast. The federal agency also revised the May and June numbers lower by a combined 258,000, which places the three-month employment growth rate at just 35,000. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

|
- Father God, we thank you, once again, for giving us a President who has the strength, the integrity and the courage to govern in truth over this nation. Now that it has been uncovered that BLS Commissioner Erika McEntarfer was an appointee of President Biden, we see clearly that her motives were political and not for the good of our people. We now ask that You would grant President Trump Your wisdom as he seeks to find a replacement for Ms. McEntarfer, in Your name, amen and amen.
- " The fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom.
All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom."

1. Zamir: IDF will soon know if hostage deal possible or Gaza war must intensify
- JNS
The Israel Defense Forces will soon know whether a deal to recover the 50 remaining hostages in Gaza is possible or whether the military campaign will need to intensify, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said on Friday.
“I think that in the coming days we will know whether we can reach an agreement for the release of our hostages. If not, the combat will continue without rest,” he said during a situational assessment in Strip.
“We will adapt it to the changing reality according to our interests—the achievements you have made provide us with operational flexibility,” he told soldiers in the Strip.
Zamir also said that accusations of deliberate starvation in Gaza are a calculated and deceptive attempt to falsely portray the IDF as committing war crimes, stressing that responsibility for the humanitarian situation in the Palestinian enclave lies with Hamas. (Read more)

2. Hamas rejects deal as Netanyahu pushes for military resolution seeking to free hostages
- Israel Hayom
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to convene the Diplomatic-Security Cabinet on Tuesday to decide the next phase of the war in Gaza, as Hamas continues to reject all proposed agreements, including those involving the full return of hostages and the disarmament of the Gaza Strip in exchange for ending the war.
The terrorist organization's adamant refusal to accept any proposal that would jeopardize its survival as an armed entity in the Gaza Strip is pushing Israel's political leadership toward decisions it has so far avoided, decisions that could lead to a confrontation with the military echelon.
"We've reached a a critical point"
Sources close to the matter told Israel Hayom that a rift has emerged between Israel's political and military leadership over how to proceed. While IDF officials, including IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, support encircling Hamas controlled areas until the terrorist organization surrenders, hardline ministers such as Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich are calling for a full-scale reoccupation of the Gaza Strip, even in areas where hostages are believed to be held. 3. Hamas says it's ready to respond to Red Cross demands on hostages
- Israel National News
The Hamas terrorist organization claimed this evening (Sunday) that it is prepared to respond to the demands of the International Committee of the Red Cross on the issue of the remaining hostages, who still have never been visited by the Red Cross nearly two years after their abductions.
A Hamas spokesperson stated that the terrorist organization is willing to finally allow the Red Cross to visit and provide food to the hostages on the condition that the humanitarian crossings into Gaza are opened.
The Hostages and Missing Families Forum stated in response to the Hamas announcement: "Hamas's announcement about their willingness to cooperate with the Red Cross to deliver food to hostages, cannot hide the fact that we are dealing with an evil terrorist organization that has been holding innocent people in impossible conditions for over 660 days. We demand the immediate release of all 50 hostages. Until their release, Hamas has the obligation to provide them with everything they need. Hamas kidnapped them and they must care for them. Every hostage who dies will be on Hamas's hands." (Read more)

4. Protesters block Tel Aviv’s Ayalon Highway in call to release hostages, end war
- Times of Israel
Dozens of protesters blocked traffic on Tel Aviv’s Ayalon Highway on Sunday morning, calling to free the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza, after videos of two emaciated captives shocked Israelis and amplified calls for their release.
The demonstrators, led by the Women’s Protest group and including relatives of freed hostages, carried a banner reading “Abandonment of the hostages = destruction of the Third Temple,” along with “Everyone in a deal. Get out of Gaza.” Another sign read, in English, “Never again is now.”
They chanted, “Why are they still in Gaza?” and “Bringing them back, everyone now.” Among the marchers were Shai Mozes, nephew of released hostage Gadi Mozes, and Meor Rosenberg, a relative of freed hostage Arbel Yehoud, according to Channel 13. (Read more)

5. Ben-Gvir Joined by Thousands for Prayer at Temple Mount - Algemeiner
i24 News – On the Jewish fast day of Tisha B’Av, which mourns the destruction of the First and Second Temples, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir ascended the Temple Mount, joining thousands of Jewish visitors expected to visit and pray throughout the day.
Under Ben-Gvir’s policy, Israeli police have allowed Jewish visitors to sing, pray in the eastern section of the mount, and even prostrate, a significant shift from the longstanding status quo that prohibits overt Jewish worship at the flashpoint site.
Videos from Sunday morning showed dozens of Jewish worshippers singing and dancing openly on the mount. Police did not intervene. In one incident, an Arab man who shouted at a group of Jewish visitors was removed and arrested by security forces.
Associates of Ben-Gvir hailed the moment as “a monumental change that hasn’t happened in a thousand years,” adding that his policy is to ensure freedom of worship for Jews at all sites in Israel, including the Temple Mount. “There is no law permitting racist discrimination against Jews on the Temple Mount or anywhere else in Israel,” they said. 1: Democrats escalate anti-Trump lawfare by targeting Congress in Planned Parenthood funding fight - Fox
Abortion providers and Democrat-led states are bringing lawsuits over the Trump administration's decision to defund Planned Parenthood, a legal fight that raises the stakes by challenging the will of both Congress and the president.
Planned Parenthood and several blue states have sued over the provision in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act that strips Medicaid funding from certain abortion providers for one year. The bill was passed by Congress and signed by the president in July.
The legislation advances the pro-life movement’s longtime goal of defunding Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, but a federal judge in Massachusetts has temporarily blocked the Trump Health and Human Services Department from carrying it out.
"Congress has the power of the purse," Muller said. "Congress has a lot of discretion [over] how it wants to spend its money, and this is not an instance where the executive has been engaged in overreach or doubtful conduct. … This is ordinary legislation, and when it comes to ordinary legislation, there's more deference given to Congress, and certainly more in how it chooses to subsidize things, where it wants to give money or where it doesn't want to give money."
The judge's decision to temporarily block the funding cuts stemmed from a lawsuit brought by Planned Parenthood, a nonprofit with hundreds of facilities across the country that provide abortions and other reproductive health services. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray that this defunding of Planned Parenthood would be accomplished as quickly as possible. Our tax dollars should not be used for killing the unborn. Let higher courts rule in favor of the Trump administration in this matter.

2: ‘Unacceptable Burden’: Trump Gives Drug Companies 60 Days To Lower Prices- Daily Wire
President Donald Trump sent letters to drug company CEOs demanding that they lower prices.
The letters, which Trump posted to social media, say name-brand drug prices “are up to three times higher on average than anywhere else for identical medicines.”
“This unacceptable burden on hardworking American families ends with my Administration,” Trump said.
The letters were sent to 17 companies and are identical. They give companies 60 days to lower drug prices through most-favored-nation (MFN) pricing as explained in an executive order titled “Delivering Most-Favored-Nation Prescription Drug Pricing to American Patients.”
The executive order, signed in May, orders companies to sell drugs in the United States for the same price charged in foreign countries, The Daily Wire previously reported. The order says companies charge Americans more for drugs because “drug manufacturers deeply discount their products to access foreign markets, and subsidize that decrease through enormously high prices in the United States.” (Read more)

- Lord of Truth, we ask that you bring drug prices down to levels that all Americans can pay. We know that some name brand drugs are ridiculously high to the point that no one can pay for them. We ask Your favor and blessing for all things meant to help Your people. Above all, we pray that Your Healing would rise among those who are called by Your Name!
- "But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and frolic like calves from the stall." (Malachi 4:2)

3: 1 dead and at least 22 sick from Legionnaires' disease cluster in New York City – ABC
One person is dead and at least 22 people have become sick from a Legionnaires’ disease cluster in New York City since last Friday, health officials said.
The New York City Health Department provided an update on Thursday into its investigation of a community cluster of Legionnaires’ disease in the Harlem neighborhood of New York City and the surrounding communities.
“People who have been in the affected area since late July with flu-like symptoms, fever, cough, or difficulty breathing should seek immediate medical attention,” the New York City Health Department said Wednesday. “People living or working in the area with flu-like symptoms, such as cough, fever, chills, muscle aches, or difficulty breathing should contact a health care provider immediately. It is especially important for people at higher risk — including those ages 50 and older, cigarette smokers, and people with chronic lung disease or compromised immune systems — to get care if they have symptoms.”
Legionnaires’ disease is a type of pneumonia that is caused by the bacteria Legionella, which grows in warm water, health officials said, and people can get Legionnaires’ disease by breathing in water vapor that contains Legionella bacteria.

4: Three major broadcast networks didn't report on heinous Cincinnati brawl, review finds - Fox
Three major broadcast networks still have not covered the horrific viral brawl in Cincinnatti that left a woman unconscious on their main morning and evening news programs as of Thursday.
The Media Research Council's Newsbusters analyzed ABC’s "Good Morning America" and "World News Tonight," "CBS News Mornings" and "Evening News," and NBC’s "Today" and "Nightly News" in the days since the vile Cincinnati assault – in which a woman was left on the ground unconscious – and found no coverage of the event through Wednesday, July 30.
A subsequent Fox News Digital analysis found that the fight was not covered on any of the aforementioned networks’ shows Thursday. ABC and NBC's websites did cover the event, and NBC's streaming service and early morning show also reported the story, per the report. (Read more)

5: John Brennan, James Clapper In Damage Control After Russiagate Revelations - Daily Caller
Obama-era intelligence heads attempted to counter the Office of Director of National Intelligence’s (ODNI) disclosures in an op-ed Wednesday regarding the original 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) on Russia’s alleged interference in the 2016 election.
The New York Times (NYT) guest essay, written by former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence (DNI) James Clapper, still leaves several questions open regarding actions taken to finalize the ICA.
Brennan and Clapper hold to the findings of the original ICA that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election and that Russian President Vladimir Putin had a “clear preference” for Trump.
DNI Tulsi Gabbard recently declassified a 2020 congressional probe which found that “the judgment that Putin ‘developed a clear preference for candidate Trump’ and ‘aspired to help his chances of victory’ did not adhere to the tenets of the ICD (Intelligence Community Directive) analytical standards.” (Read more)

6: Catholic Classical Architect James McCrery To Lead White House Ballroom Construction – Daily Wire
Construction on the new White House ballroom will soon begin, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shared on Thursday, led by Washington, D.C., architect James McCrery.
Leavitt announced the news during Thursday’s White House press briefing, where she shared that the new ballroom will be “a much needed and exquisite addition of approximately 90,000 total square feet” able to seat 650 guests. Leavitt stressed that the new addition will be carefully crafted and beautifully designed.
The White House says that previous presidential administrations have wanted to add a large event space at the White House complex that could hold a much larger number of guests than the current space allows.
In a release, the White House notes that though the building is one of the most beautiful and historic in the world, it is “currently unable to host major functions honoring world leaders and other countries without having to install a large and unsightly tent approximately 100 yards away from the main building entrance.”
“Presidents in the modern era have faced challenges hosting major events at the White House because it has been untouched since President Harry Truman,” McCrery said in a statement shared by the White House. (Read more)

- Lord, we can hear those who oppose President Trump start screaming already. But this ballroom is being paid for by private donations, not taxpayer money. Thank You, Dear Savior, for a new ballroom that will accommodate more guests.
- “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)

Law Enforcement Officers Need Your Prayers
|
|
|
Violence against law enforcement has ramped up. ICE Agents in Los Angeles have been targeted over the last months. In Idaho, firefighters were killed, and several were injured while responding to a fire, later revealed as arson, set up to ambush them. Three deputies were killed in California during an explosion last week that is under investigation. Most recently in Idaho, three officers were shot while they were parked and eating on a lunch break. Those who have accepted the call to keep order in our nation are under attack. Let’s come together and shield our law enforcement. (These prayers can also be applied to firefighters and ICE agents.)

Gen. Flynn Caught One of the Most Important Details of Newly Found FBI Burn Bags - Could Hit Comey Himself: Fingerprints
|
|
|
Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, the former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, called on the FBI to check recently discovered burn bags filled with classified documents related to Russiagate for fingerprints. There is no better agency in the U.S. to do so, since it manages the largest fingerprint database.
“ALL OF THESE BURN BAG DOCUMENTS WILL HAVE FINGERPRINTS ON THESE DOCUMENTS,” Flynn posted on social media on Thursday. “IF YOU WERE ONE OF THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE FOR TRYING TO DESTROY THIS EVIDENCE, YOU NEED TO COME FORWARD NOW,” he continued.
“FBI Director Kash & FBID DBongino you may want to consider a very short window for amnesty for those who come forward to tell the truth,” Flynn concluded.
Fox News reported Thursday that the burn bags filled with classified documents were in a previously unknown sensitive compartmented information facility, or SCIF, at FBI headquarters.
A classified annex to a report on Russiagate written by former special counsel John Durham was among those documents. The annex included the intelligence reviewed by Durham. (The Western Journal) Read more here.

Josh Hawley Introduces Bill to Codify Trump's Rebate Check Suggestion - Here Are the Numbers
|
|
|
The concept of a rebate check fueled with revenue from tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump is making the rounds, but don’t expect a check any time soon unless Republican opposition to the concept fades away.
Trump raised the notion last week, telling the media, “The big thing we want to do is pay down debt, but we’re thinking about a rebate,” according to The Washington Post. “We have so much money coming in from tariffs that a little rebate for people of a certain income level might be really nice,” he said.
The outlet reported that the tariffs have taken in more than $93 billion.
That led Missouri Republican Sen. Josh Hawley to start the legislative process to turn the concept into reality, according to NBC.
“Like President Trump proposed, my legislation would allow hard-working Americans to benefit from the wealth that Trump’s tariffs are returning to this country,” Hawley said in a statement. Hawley proposed setting up the program as a refundable tax credit giving each adult and dependent child at least $600 — and more if tariff revenue exceeds projections.
But as noted by the Post, many Republicans are cool to another giveaway such as the checks sent out during the lockdowns.
“We’re $37 trillion in debt. We’re running deficits close to $2 trillion. I wouldn’t support it,” Wisconsin Republican Sen. Ron Johnson said. “At some point in time, this madness has to end.”
“I just don’t know that they’re necessary. The folks back home don’t feel like they’re being hurt by tariffs, just the opposite. Prices have stabilized,” Kansas Republican Sen. Roger Marshall asserted. Marshall said paying the national debt should come first.
Missouri Republican Sen. Eric Schmitt said sending checks might send an important message. “I think it’s also an acknowledgment that all the experts have been totally wrong about this, that the tariffs were going to be a disaster,” he said. (The Western Journal) Read more here.

Senate heads home with no deal to speed up nominee confirmations after rare weekend session
|
|
|
The Senate left Washington Saturday night for its monthlong August recess without a deal to advance dozens of President Donald Trump's nominees, calling it quits after days of contentious bipartisan negotiations and Trump posting on social media that Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer can “GO TO HELL!”
Without a deal in hand, Republicans say they may try to change Senate rules when they return in September to speed up the pace of confirmations. Trump has been pressuring senators to move quickly as Democrats blocked more nominees than usual this year, denying any fast unanimous consent votes and forcing roll calls on each one, a lengthy process that can take several days per nominee.
“I think they’re desperately in need of change," Senate Majority Leader John Thune said of Senate rules Saturday after negotiations with Schumer and Trump broke down. "I think that the last six months have demonstrated that this process, nominations, is broken. And so I expect there will be some good robust conversations about that.” (AP) Read more here.

- Lord God, we thank You that this tug-of-war has now come to an end, and we ask that, in the coming weeks, every member of the Senate will find the time to reflect upon this critical need, and find creative ways to resolve this impasse. We thank You, too, that You promise in Your Word that you WILL make a way where there seems to be no way to go forward. Amen and amen.
- "Do not call to mind the former things,
Or consider things of the past.

Stunning photos capture moment one of Indonesia's most active volcanoes erupts
|
|
For the second day in a row, one of Indonesia’s most active volcanoes, Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki, erupted.
The explosion launched a column of smoke and volcanic material shot up to 11 miles in the sky early Saturday morning. Debris from the volcano blanketed villages, but no casualties have been reported. The explosion was one of the country’s largest since the 2010 eruption of Mount Merapi, the country’s most volatile volcano.
