PRAISE REPORT: Muslims Meeting Jesus in Miraculous Ways
Our very own George Thomas just returned from a trip to Uzbekistan, where he told us “God is on the move,” drawing Muslims to Himself in truly stunning ways. Across the border of Uzbekistan, in Kazakhstan, George recalled hearing of one Uyghur woman who was burdened for five years by a “debilitating sickness” that kept her homebound. She sought guidance and healing from everywhere, speaking with imams, experimenting with Tarot cards, diving into Buddhism, and even attempting to practice Hinduism. But nothing worked.

Then she “'had a dream. She was walking down this road and she sees this man in white and holding her hands and taking her along this street that just was illuminated with such a brightness and she said, ‘I’ve never heard of] this man Jesus. I’ve never heard His name.’” The woman, George said, went online and typed the name “Jesus” into Google and what came up was a typical image of Jesus “'and it was the man in her dream.' In the process,” he said, “she gave her life to Jesus Christ and like this she was healed.”

Similarly, in Uzbekistan, George said believers will hear people — Muslims— struggling with infirmities of various kinds and they will “lay hands” on them and pray, and God heals them, and it causes them to turn from Islam and toward Jesus. Those encounters, he explained, often cause a ripple effect of biblical proportions. “The beauty in so much of the Middle East, especially among Muslim cultures, is, when one member of the family has an encounter with Jesus Christ, the entire family comes to Christ,” he said. “The whole family comes to faith, which is just beautiful.” (Faith Wire) Watch interview with George Thomas Here

- Father we celebrate with shouts of PRAISE for the miraculous encounters with Jesus throughout the Muslim population! You reveal yourself in mighty ways and we rejoice for Your holy Word which states You desire that no man shall perish. We thank You for the testimonies of families being converted as individuals share their encounters, like the woman at the well. May Your love and tangible presence continue to permeate every nation, calling souls onto Yourself, bringing a harvest of salvations and believers spreading the Good News of HOPE! In the powerful Blood and Name of Jesus Christ, we pray- Amen and Amen.

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me." (Revelation 3:20)

Special Counsel Office Opens Investigation Into Trump Prosecutor Jack Smith

The U.S. Office of Special Counsel has launched an investigation into former Department of Justice (DOJ) special counsel Jack Smith, who brought two separate federal criminal cases against former President Donald Trump during the Biden administration, between Trump’s two presidential terms.

On Aug. 2, the Office of Special Counsel confirmed it was investigating whether Smith’s conduct through his efforts to prosecute Trump constituted a form of improper political activity. The office is an independent federal agency separate from the DOJ that is tasked with protecting federal whistleblowers and enforcing civil service law, such as the Hatch Act, which restricts political activities by federal employees. The office has no criminal enforcement power but does investigate violations and has the authority to impose fines and other sanctions.

In November 2022, then-Attorney General Merrick Garland named Smith as DOJ special counsel, tasked with leading criminal investigations into Trump. Smith indicted Trump in June 2023 on charges of mishandling classified information after his first presidential term ended in 2021. Smith indicted Trump again two months later, alleging that the president committed crimes in his attempts to challenge the 2020 election results.

Smith dropped both criminal cases in November 2024, just weeks after Trump won his bid to return to the White House. He resigned from his special counsel post on Jan. 10, days after submitting a final report regarding his investigations.

The Office of Special Counsel announced its investigation three days after Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) called on the office to probe Smith for partisan election interference.

In a July 30 letter to the office, Cotton alleged that Smith pursued his criminal cases against Trump on an expedited timeline, attempting to bring the cases to trial in the opening phase of the 2024 election cycle.

“After filing the indictment against President Trump on Aug. 10, 2023, Smith demanded the trial start on Jan. 2, 2024, with jury selection beginning as early as Dec. 11, 2023,” Cotton wrote in one bullet-point example.

“Defendants in these types of cases typically have more than two years to prepare for trial, but President Trump’s defense team had fewer than six months to review 13 million pages of evidence and thousands of hours of video footage provided by prosecutors. Notably, jury selection was to begin just two weeks before the Iowa caucuses.” (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Lord God, we just asked all of this be exposed, and that the truth will be revealed in the mighty name of Jesus. These legal tactics and accusations are what happened all through 2016 when Trump was running, while he was president, and this is tearing at the very fabric of our values as a nation. And so we declare this would investigated and that accountability would be had in Jesus' name.

Trump Admin Moves to Restore Long‑Standing Ban on Taxpayer‑Funded Abortions at VA Hospitals

The Trump administration has announced a proposal to rescind a Biden-era rule and bar medical centers operated by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) from performing taxpayer-funded abortions except when the mother’s life is in danger.

The regulatory change will be formally proposed by the VA in the Aug. 4 edition of the Federal Register, with a 30-day public comment period to follow before it can enter into force.

With the move, the agency is looking to bring back its pre-2022 policy banning abortions and abortion counseling in its medical benefits package and its civilian health and medical program, restoring restrictions that had been in place since 1999.

- Lord, thank you for so many righteous leaders that are standing up for life! We pray for the men and women who have been elected to serve the American people at all levels, to govern and create laws to uphold the Constitution and provide life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all. Thank you for those that are speaking up for those who cannot speak for themselves and for rescuing the unborn who are unjustly sentenced to die. Amen.

Beijing Pays Influencers in Africa to Spread  Anti-US Messaging

JOHANNESBURG—Chinese and Russian agents are paying social media influencers in Africa to spread anti-U.S. messages worldwide, with the Trump administration being a top target, media experts say.

Their research reveals that many influencers who use the TikTok platform are earning hundreds to thousands of dollars per month by disseminating misinformation, disinformation, and propaganda that benefits Beijing and Moscow.

The studies align with information presented to Congress on July 22 by U.S. President Donald Trump’s nominee to lead the U.S. military in Africa.

Analysts say China, Russia, and other malign actors are taking advantage of an information void created by the White House’s decision to cut financial aid to Africa, which has impacted the funding of media previously supported by the U.S. government.

We cancel all lies and all mind control that is done on a daily basis to try to control a certain narrative, and we break their powers in the name of Jesus. We pray all ungodly agendas to control our media and media outlets all over the world would be exposed, in Jesus' name, amen.

Fighter jets scrambled after civilian aircraft violates Trump airspace at New Jersey Bedminster

Fighter jets scrambled to intercept a civilian aircraft on Sunday after it entered restricted airspace over Trump’s Bedminster retreat.

The pilot flew into a temporary flight restriction (TFR) zone at about 12:50 p.m. ET, according to a statement from the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).

The civilian aircraft was escorted out of the area by NORAD aircraft after using flares to draw the pilot’s attention.

NORAD said the intercept was the second of the day, noting that another aircraft had entered the TFR zone. In total, there were five unauthorized incursions over the weekend.

The second instance, NORAD said, involved flares, which may have been visible to the public.

NORAD added that flares "are employed with the highest regard for the safety of the intercepted aircraft and people on the ground."

The flares also burn out quickly and completely, NORAD said, so there is no danger to those on the ground when dispersed.

- We plead the Blood of Jesus over any and all airspace that covers our President, so that no harm or evil can come near him.  We thank You that these fighter jets were immediately scrambled to intercept this civilian aircraft on Sunday after it entered restricted airspace over Trump’s Bedminster retreat.

We decree that every demonic entity, and every demonic assignment is canceled and cannot come to pass, in Jesus' name. We thank you, Lord, that you are the creator of the heavens and the earth, and that you are supreme over everything and everything is yours! Amen!

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. IDF raids weapons trafficking sites in Syria - JNS

Israeli troops overnight Saturday completed an operation targeting weapons trafficking networks in the Hader area of southern Syria, questioning several suspects on site.

Acting on prior intelligence and an in-depth field investigation, Israel Defense Forces soldiers simultaneously raided four no locations, uncovering a cache of weapons.

Troops from the IDF’s 210th Division remain deployed in the area to prevent the entrenchment of terrorist elements in Syria, with the stated goal of protecting Israeli civilians—particularly residents of the Golan Heights. (Read more)

2.  Netanyahu decides to fully occupy the Gaza Strip - World Israel News

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to occupy the Gaza Strip as a means of achieving the twin war goals of “total victory” over Hamas and returning the hostages.

The strategy was reported by a source from within the Prime Minister’s Office to The Jerusalem Post on Monday night.

The strategy is at variance with that of IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, who opposes a complete occupation of Gaza.

The Prime Minister’s Office reportedly communicated a message to the IDF Chief of Staff that if he did not find the policy suitable, he could resign.

On Tuesday, the political leadership is expected to hold a meeting about possibly expanding military operations in Gaza. (Read more)

3. Cabinet weighs seizing control of Gaza as IDF Chief cancels US trip
- Israel Hayom

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir has canceled a planned trip to the US, as expectations for a ceasefire in Gaza have faded.

Zamir had been scheduled to fly out overnight, but called off the visit several days ago as it became increasingly clear that efforts to reach a hostage deal with Hamas had stalled.

The visit was meant to include sensitive meetings with top officials at the Pentagon, as well as participation in the change of command ceremony for US Central Command, where Gen. Michael Kurilla is stepping down.

Zamir's decision to remain in Israel comes amid reports that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is considering launching a large-scale military operation to seize control of the Gaza Strip. (Read more)

4. Sa’ar calls for world’s attention on hostages ahead of UN Security Council session - Times of Israel

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar on Monday urged the world to bring attention to the hostages held in Gaza before heading to a United Nations Security Council session on the issue, saying, “It must be front and center on the world stage.”

Israel called the UN session after Hamas and its ally Palestinian Islamic Jihad published videos last week showing hostages Rom Braslavski and Evyatar David appearing weak and emaciated, causing deep shock and distress in Israel.

Speaking at a press conference for international media in Jerusalem, Sa’ar called out international leaders and the UN for what he called “unfair” attitudes toward the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza and for making diplomatic moves that encourage the terror group to harden its stance in negotiations. 5. Government votes to remove Attorney General - Israel National News

On Monday evening, the government unanimously approved a proposal by Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Minister Yariv Levin to immediately end the tenure of Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara.

The government plans to begin the process of appointing her replacement without delay, despite the Supreme Court’s position that a new appointment should not proceed until the current term concludes.

During the cabinet meeting, Minister Levin criticized Baharav Miara’s conduct, accusing her of contradicting herself. “In section D-1 of her letter, she claims there is good cooperation with the government. But in section D-2, she says her legal opinions are systematically dismissed. If there is true cooperation, how can her views be ignored?” Levin said. “This claim of cooperation is nonsense. On every key legal and political issue, she has aligned with the opposition—even on marginal matters like Bar Association membership fee laws.” (Read more

1. Displaced Nigerians block highway to protest gov’t inaction after 200 Christians killed in massacre - Christian Post

Hundreds of displaced Nigerians blocked a major highway this week to protest government inaction after the mass killing of more than 200 Christians in a massacre last month. The demonstrators, mostly women and children, demanded food and security at a camp near Makurdi in central Nigeria.

Chanting “We want to go back home; no security, no food,” the protesters used tree branches to barricade the Makurdi–Lafia–Abuja expressway, halting traffic at the junction near the Maga IDPs Camp in Mbayongo, Truth Nigeria reported.

The demonstration came one day after Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, visited Benue State and announced a donation of 1 billion naira ($653,000) for the upkeep of internally displaced persons in the region. (Read more)

2.  Corporation for Public Broadcasting, funder of NPR and PBS, says it will end operations within months after federal budget cuts - CBS News

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting said Friday it would begin winding down its operations after its funding was eliminated by the Trump administration and Congress.

The CPB is a private nonprofit founded in 1967 that serves as a steward of funding for public media. It provides funds to 1,500 local public radio and television stations as well as PBS and NPR. It employs about 100 people.

President Trump signed an executive order in May instructing the organization to cease federal funding for PBS and NPR. In June, the House approved a White House request to claw back $1.1 billion in already appointed federal funds from the CPB. The Senate Appropriations Committee's 2026 appropriations bill eliminated funding for the CPB for the first time in over 50 years.

"Despite the extraordinary efforts of millions of Americans who called, wrote, and petitioned Congress to preserve federal funding for CPB, we now face the difficult reality of closing our operations," said CPB President and CEO Patricia Harrison in a statement. "CPB remains committed to fulfilling its fiduciary responsibilities and supporting our partners through this transition with transparency and care." (Read more)

3.  Fed Governor Kugler is resigning, giving Trump a nominee on committee that sets interest rates - CNBC

Federal Reserve Governor Adriana Kugler announced Friday she is stepping down from her role at the central bank, creating an important vacancy at a time when President Donald Trump is pushing for lower interest rates.

In a letter addressed to Trump, Kugler, 55, did not state a reason for her decision to leave, only noting that she will be returning to Georgetown University as a professor in the fall.

“It has been an honor of a lifetime to serve on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System,” Kugler wrote. “I am especially honored to have served during a critical time in achieving our dual mandate of bringing down prices and keeping a strong and resilient labor market.”

Kugler’s term was set to expire at the end of January 2026. A Biden nominee, she joined the Board of Governors in September 2023, filling the unexpired term of Lael Brainard, who left to serve as a Biden economic advisor. As a governor, Kugler was a permanent voter on the rate-setting Federal Open Market Committee.

Her resignation now paves the way for Trump to put his own nominee in for the board. (Read more)

4.  Trump calls on the Federal Reserve board to take full control of the central bank from Powell - The Hill

President Donald Trump on Friday called for the Federal Reserve’s board of governors to usurp the power of Fed Chair Jerome Powell, criticizing the head of the U.S. central bank for not cutting short-term interest rates.

Posting on his Truth Social platform, Trump called Powell “stubborn.” The Fed chair has been subjected to vicious verbal attacks by the Republican president over several months.

The Fed has the responsibility of stabilizing prices and maximizing employment. Powell has held its benchmark rate for overnight loans constant this year, saying that Fed officials needed to see what impact Trump’s massive tariffs had on inflation.

If Powell doesn’t “substantially” lower rates, Trump posted, “THE BOARD SHOULD ASSUME CONTROL, AND DO WHAT EVERYONE KNOWS HAS TO BE DONE!” (Read more)

- Lord, we do pray for these officials to lower the interest rates, as Trump is requesting. We pray against any pride that may be involved In these men's decisions.

5. 'Flashbacks to Tehran': Iranian pastor urges Trump to protect persecuted Christians, not deport them - Christian Post

Evangelical Pastor Ara Torosian knows what it's like to become a "target" of Iran's Islamist regime.

Having been on house arrest for two years, Torosian, who now shepherds the Farsi-speaking congregation at Cornerstone Church in Los Angeles, California, fled his native country more than a decade ago and is grateful to have been resettled in the United States as a refugee.

"I experienced true religious freedom for the first time in my life in this country, of which I am now a proud, grateful citizen," Torosian, who is now a U.S. citizen, wrote in an op-ed for the Los Angeles Times this week.

But in June, he was "shocked" when masked federal immigration officials detained five members of his congregation, including one couple seeking asylum. He said they were "separated from their families and threatened with deportation" back to a country that would "kill them for their Christian faith."

A viral video that circulated online purports to show one woman having a panic attack as officers arrest her husband on the street, a few blocks away from the church. Torosian ran over to the scene after being contacted by the woman. The pastor films the interaction and shouts at the officers, asking, "Why are you doing this?"

"I rushed over and began to film the shocking scene: First he was detained by masked officers, and then she was. I asked if they had a judicial warrant, but if they did, they would not show me," he recalled. "The woman experienced a panic attack and was taken to a hospital but discharged into ICE custody; she is now hours away in a detention center in California. Her husband is in a detention center in Texas." (Read more)

 - Lord, we do pray protection for these persecuted Christians and ask wisdom for President Trump regarding deporting them.

6.  Iran Accused of Targeting Jews at Home and Abroad as 14 Nations Condemn Assassination Plots - The Algemeiner

Britain, the United States, France, and 11 other allies issued a joint statement on Thursday condemning a rise in Iranian assassination and kidnapping plots in the West, as a new report warned Tehran has been intensifying efforts to target Jewish communities abroad.

On Tuesday, the US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) released a report detailing Iran’s systematic violations of religious freedom, both domestically and through operations targeting individuals abroad.

Within Iran, despite officially recognizing Judaism, the Islamist government also “publicly demonizes Jews as enemies of Islam, denies and distorts the history of the Holocaust, [and] surveils Jewish houses of worship,” the report said.

By promoting such antisemitic views and permitting assaults on Jewish sacred sites throughout the country, “authorities have nurtured a hostile environment in which Iranian Jews feel increasingly threatened.” (Read more)

- We pray protection for all Jews that are being targeted abroad. Keep them hidden from the enemy.

The Daily Jot

The Call of Grace

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, August 4, 2025

Deuteronomy 1-3:22, “Devarim” in Hebrew, begins the final address of Moses to Israel, a farewell that is part sermon, part history, and full of heart. The Hebrew title means “words,” and these are the last words of a leader who’s walked with Israel through triumph and failure. Moses recounts the journey from Mount Sinai to the edge of the Promised Land, repeating the law, urging obedience, and warning of the consequences of rebellion. But before launching into reproof, he blesses them, saying, “May the Lord… increase you a thousandfold… as you are.” Not because they earned it. Not because they were perfect. But because they are loved. Just as you are. That’s the starting point for all of us—loved by God, even in our mess.

That tender approach—correction with compassion—gives us a model. Moses doesn’t scold first; he blesses. He sees Israel with a “good eye,” the way Jesus sees us. As believers, we’re often tempted to lead with critique. But encouragement opens the heart. That phrase “as you are” packs a punch. Perfection is not a prerequisite for God’s blessing. He meets us in our condition and calls us forward. At the end of the reading, God commands Joshua to have courage, reminding him of past victories over giants like Sihon and Og. These victories are a nod to a deeper spiritual truth. If God brought you through before, He’ll do it again. Don’t let fear make your decisions. Don’t forget who’s fighting for you. Read More

Trump Admin Issues Emergency Order to Protect the Grid
Our grid is in danger. This past Monday, the Department of Energy issued an emergency order for a major power grid operator amid threats of outages and peak energy usage.
The PJM Interconnection (PJM) requested the order so that it could run the Wagner Generating Station in Maryland beyond its operating limit, and the emergency order allows PJM and Talen Energy to run “specified units” to meet demand, according to DOE. Several major grid operators have been straining under the summer heat, and the DOE has ordered several other emergency orders across the U.S. in recent months to ensure grid reliability in periods of need.
“This order reduces the threat of power outages during peak demand conditions for millions of Americans,” DOE Secretary Chris Wright said. “The Trump administration remains committed to swiftly deploying all available tools and authorities to safeguard the reliability, affordability, and security of the nation’s energy system.”

PJM recently stated that it faces a “growing resource adequacy concern” as demand climbs while power plants age and retire.
As the Caller notes, experts have warned about threats to our grid for years now. Old power plants are shutting down due to age and oppressive climate mandates, and newer plants based on renewable energy are unable to keep up. (IFA) Read more
FOOTNOTE FROM IFA:

At IFA, we care deeply about the various threats to our grid. We have covered these threats in various articles, webcasts, and resources. Summer will soon be over, but our grid will still be in danger unless something fundamentally changes. Let’s pray for wisdom for the Trump administration and the DOE as they work to protect our grid and solve this energy crisis!
Texas Takeover: 330 mosques, 450K Muslims
and growing political power
Texas is becoming ground zero for a cultural takeover, and no one in power is stopping it. In this explosive interview, Grant Stinchfield exposes how 450,000 Muslims, over 330 mosques, and entire Shariah-compliant neighborhoods are reshaping the state… right under Governor Abbott's nose. HOA fees funding mosques, Islamic courts operating in the shadows, and public schools bending to pressure. Politicians talk tough, but nothing changes. If you think this is just Dearborn or Minneapolis, think again. What happens in Texas won't stay in Texas. This is a warning. (World Net Daily) Read more here.
- Father God, we lift up this alarming report to you. We thank you that Grant Stinchfield has warned the citizens of Texas that there are now 330 mosques, and more than 450,000 Moslems living in their state. We cast down any form of Sharia law from operating in this state or anywhere else in our nation. We decree that their takeover scheme has now been uncovered, and that the Moslems in America will be prevented, by law, to encroach any longer upon our own freedoms as American citizens. In Your Name, Holy One, we offer this prayer, Amen and amen!

- ‘This far you may come, but no farther,
And here your proud waves must stop!’

Abbott threatens to remove House Dems from office following dramatic departure to avoid vote

Republican Gov. Greg Abbott threatened to arrest and expel the Texas House Democrats who fled the state to avoid a redistricting vote if they do not return by Monday afternoon.

Dozens of Texas' Democratic state representatives arrived in Chicago Sunday night to stall the vote. Shortly after Abbott released his statement, the Texas House Democratic Caucus issued a simple response, writing: "Come and take it."

The statement also described Republicans' proposed districts, which would potentially secure five new GOP U.S. House seats in next year's midterm elections, as a "racist mid-decade redistricting scheme."

Abbott criticized the Democrats' dramatic departure, starting his call for them to return with, "real Texans don't run from a fight."

"Rather than doing their job and voting on urgent legislation affecting the lives of all Texans, they have fled Texas to deprive the House of the quorum necessary to meet and conduct business," he wrote.

At least 100 members of the 150-member Texas House must be present to conduct business, and approximately 50 of the Democrats have left. Abbott said their commitment to voting as elected state officials is a duty and is "not optional."

The Texas House is set to reconvene at 3 p.m. on Monday and Abbott said the "derelict Democrat House members must return" by then or face being removed from their positions by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

The Republican AG has already stated that the lawmakers "should be found and arrested no matter where they go." (Fox News) Read more here.

Breaking: Texas House Authorizes Arrest of Rogue Democrats - It's Happening - The Western Journal

The Texas House of Representatives passed a resolution Monday afternoon calling for the arrest of dozens of Democratic lawmakers who fled the state to prevent a congressional redistricting vote from going forward.

At least 100 of the 150 members of the Texas House must be present for a quorum so business can be conducted.

Some of the Democrats went to the blue states of Illinois and New York to keep the redistricting vote from happening.

Republicans currently hold 25 of the Lone Star State’s 38 congressional seats, and if the change goes through, it could be 30 of the 38, according to Fox News.

Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott told the outlet Monday, “New York and Illinois are two hallmark states that have already done redistricting to eliminate Republicans.”

He noted that the Democrats who fled his state are also preventing critical flood-relief legislation from receiving a vote. (Read more)

- Lord God, as we pray over this critical matter, it comes to us that this action is a form of witchcraft. An action like this (the Democratic legislators in the State of Texas) is one that defies ordained law and instead serves the purposes of the evil one.

We ask that these fleeing members be held accountable and brought to justice, so that the will of the citizens of the State of Texas can be honored. Thank You, O Lord, for hearing our prayer, amen and amen.

- " Let all things be done decently and in order." (1 Corinthians 14:40)

He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies."

Sturgeon Moon: Aug. 8-9

The final full moon of meteorological summer, which spans June through August, will rise as the weekend kicks off from Friday, Aug. 8, into Saturday, Aug. 9.

August's full moon is known as the Sturgeon Moon, named after the large fish once found in abundance in the Great Lakes and in Lake Champlain, according to the Old Farmer's Almanac. The nickname can be traced back to Captain Jonathan Carver, who learned the phrase while traveling in the 1760s.
