120 Student Athletes Commit to Christ During Georgia Church Event
|
|
A Georgia church group for young athletes is reporting a powerful move of God after more than 100 students gave their lives to Jesus Christ at a recent gathering. First Baptist Church of Hazlehurst (FBC) partnered with Strength of a Champion Ministries and held the "Night of Champions" event where 120 students chose to follow Christ.
Philip Worthington, the executive pastor of administration and missions at FBC, through the Strength of a Champion Ministry, invited coaches from six counties to the church for a tailgate-inspired block party with hamburger meals, games, and a chance to hear the gospel. Middle and high school teams were invited. Worthington said in a report from The Christian Index that FBC prepared for 500 students and 65 to 70 coaches.
Craig Whitt, who leads Strength of a Champion Ministries, described the "Night of Champions" event as an evangelistic outreach that focuses on helping local churches reach student-athletes in their communities. Throughout the event, coaches and other attendees shared their own testimonies and their impact on their young athletes.
Jake Fromm, a former NFL quarterback, encouraged the coaches in attendance to not discount their influence on the youth they coach. "Don't underestimate the impact that you have on a young person's life," Fromm told the coaches. "There are a lot of souls that you're running into. And God wants those souls. He's going to use you to reach out to them, to mentor them and to help lead them to Him." (CBN) Read More Here

Father, we Praise you for the 120 student athletes that made genuine commitments to follow Jesus Christ! Continue to guide them and place mentors alongside their path. We ask abundant blessings upon the Christian coaches who boldly shared their own testimonies, which made a life-changing impact on many young hearts. We give You all the GLORY and declare these new believers will impact their own peers, who will also joyfully surrender their lives to the Lord! By the powerful Name and Blood of Yeshua- we pray- Amen.
"My mouth will tell of your righteous acts, of your deeds of salvation all the day, for their number is past my knowledge. With the mighty deeds of the Lord GOD I will come; I will remind them of your righteousness, yours alone." (Psalm 71:15-16)

E.U. Vows 'Emergency Meeting' Six Days After Ceuta Illegal Migrant Invasion Began
|
|
|
The European Union (E.U.) will meet in video conference Tuesday before issuing stern warnings over the illegal migrant invasion that started flooding the Spanish enclave of Ceuta mid-last week.
The call to action will come six days after the surge was first reported in what is now regarded as the single largest crossing of its kind in the E.U.’s history.
The BBC reports 22 member states issued a joint letter calling for co-ordinated action and the strengthening of the E.U.’s external borders after some 60,000 illegal migrants freely entered the outpost from Morocco.
The E.U. members’ letter addresses concerns around “hybrid threats to create the perception that illegal entry into the European Union is possible,” adding the free, open borders “would encourage further attempts, undermine confidence in our common migration policy and have repercussions for all Member States”. Lord we pray over the E.U. that they take this crisis seriously. We pray that they choose to do the right thing to protect their citizens and not allow this illegal activity that will tear the foundations of their country apart. Lord, we need your wisdom and your guidance now more than ever in Europe, America, the Middle East and all nations, in Jesus' name, amen.
"All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before You, for Kingship belongs to the Lord and He rules over the nations." (Psalm 22:27-28)

UK: Over 2,000 Illegals Arrive in First Two Weeks of Burnham Government
|
|
|
The first fortnight of Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s government appears to indicate that his administration, like those before his, will once again be overshadowed by the migrant crisis in the English Channel, with over 2,000 illegals arriving on British shores since he took power just two weeks ago.
A further 326 illegal migrants successfully crossed the Channel from the French coastline on Saturday in people-smuggler-coordinated small boats, taking the total number since Burnham was installed in Downing Street by the left-wing Labour Party last month to 2,057.
In comparison, some 1,962 migrants were recorded crossing the Channel illegally during the same time period in 2025, ITV reported. While the modest increase doesn’t show a sudden rapid leap, it would appear to rubbish the insistence by Britain’s governing Labour Party and its new leader Andy Burnham that “the plan is working”.
The continuing border control crisis under Burnham saw the busiest day of the year in the Channel on Wednesday, with 752 migrants being brought ashore in 24 hours.
Appearing at the migrant landing hotspot of Dover over the weekend, the Prime Minister said that he would be “relentless” in efforts to stem the tide of boat migrant arrivals. But his words suggested he doesn’t truly believe there is a problem, and the only challenge facing the government is one of perception, that the public feel the border “looks like” it isn’t being managed.
“The public don’t like the idea that the border looks like it’s not controlled,” Burnham said. “We need to bring back that control, but also we need to offer support for people who genuinely need it. Slowly but surely we are putting in place those building blocks of a very different approach to this issue. It’s working, but there’s more to be done.” (Breitbart) Read more here.

Lord, we pray for the U.K and the leaders there that they would make wise decisions and choose to serve their citizens correctly. Help those who are suffering under this socialist regime. We pray for justice now in this situation but we set our hope ultimately in the King of kings who will judge the nations with perfect justice at His return.
“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” (Hebrews 4:16)

Saudi Arabia Proposes ‘Maritime Defense Coalition’ for Red Sea
|
|
|
Saudi Arabia on Thursday held the first planning session for its proposed Red Sea maritime defense coalition which would secure the vital trading passage through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and Gulf of Aden against piracy and terrorism, primarily from the Iran-backed Houthi separatists of Yemen.
The Saudi Defense Ministry said representatives from 43 nations attended Thursday’s meeting in Riyadh. Fourteen of them issued a joint statement that said they were willing to consider “joint maritime operations” in the Red Sea, including training, intelligence-sharing, and military exercises.
Saudi Arabia is particularly concerned about the safety of Red Sea shipping, and with good reason. The kingdom shifted much of its seaborne oil to Red Sea ports to work around Iran’s terrorist blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, only to have Iran’s proxies in Yemen announce a “maritime ban” on Saudi tankers in the Red Sea on July 20.
The Houthis have since attacked several Saudi civilian vessels, warned international shipping firms that any ship carrying Saudi oil could be attacked, and floated the possibility of setting up an extortion racket in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, much as Iran hopes to squeeze “fees” out of ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
The Saudis have also tried sending oil through the Suez Canal in Egypt, a much slower route requiring smaller oil tankers, but a drone attack on a U.S.-owned gas tanker in the Suez port of Damietta on Wednesday suggested that route may not be safe, either.
Saudi Arabia led a multi-national effort to intervene against the Houthis in the Yemeni civil war from 2015 until 2022 when a ceasefire went into effect. The Houthis have since resumed their effort to conquer the rest of Yemen by force, and the Saudis have acted to prevent Iran from extending its influence in Yemen. (Breitbart) Read more here.

Lord God, we pray over this proposal that it would be successful. We break the powers of all piracy and terrorism in Jesus' name. We pray for safe passage through the Red Sea and that justice would be done in this situation, in Jesus' name, amen.

Trump Admin Cancels 28,000 Trucker Licenses Held by Illegal Aliens
|
|
|
The Trump administration has helped cancel more than 28,000 commercial trucker licenses (CDLs) held by non-citizens and is also launching a program to replace the migrants with U.S. military veterans.
The administration recently posted a press release reporting that officials have worked with their counterparts in the states to completely cancel the CDLs of 24,000 non-citizens who cannot speak or read English proficiently. They have also worked with the states to cancel 28,000 illegally issued drivers licenses and to shut down 9,500 driving schools that have helped put these dangerous truckers on America’s roads.
“DHS [Department of Homeland Security] will be a force multiplier of our efforts to clean up America’s roads. President Trump is using every lever at his disposal to ensure the safety of American families,” U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy said.
“Too many American lives have been lost in completely avoidable accidents because illegal aliens have been granted commercial driver’s licenses to drive trucks and 18-wheelers on America’s roadways,” added DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin. “DHS law enforcement is partnering with the Department of Transportation to eliminate CDL fraud, strengthen the integrity of the CDL system, and investigate commercial driver’s license schools throughout the country. This is a whole of government approach, to keep America’s roads safe.” (Breitbart) Read more.

Lord, we pray that this new initiative would be successful and that all these trucker positions are filled with the best drivers we have. We thank You, too, that this ruling will prevent illegal aliens from driving these vehicles, thereby endangering our roads. We cover our economy in the blood of Jesus, and we pray that this new ruling will not affect our goods and services in Jesus' name, amen.
“And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)

Idaho In-N-Out Burger shooting motive still a mystery as armed citizen speaks out
|
|
|
Police are still working to determine why a 24-year-old gunman opened fire at a crowded In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho, killing three people and wounding seven others before taking his own life after taking fire from a bystander and an off-duty Idaho state trooper.
Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks said Sunday that investigators were confident Chad Williams acted alone in Saturday's attack, but detectives had not yet established a motive or fully traced his movements before the shooting.
"We believe their actions helped drive the suspect away from the scene, preventing further casualties," Hicks said of an armed citizen and officer who returned fire. "We want to take a moment and commend the actions of the off-duty officer and the citizen, and their heroic action to stop this incident."
Police have not publicly identified the trooper or the bystander, but the Idaho Statesman detailed the heroics of Jordan Salinas, 35, of Kimberly, Idaho, strapped by the shoulder with a FN Five-seven semi-automatic pistol fitted with a suppressor.
Salinas, a reported "healthcare worker, the full-time caregiver of his wheelchair-bound brother," told the paper he took up gun training after a 2021 shooting – never even aiming a gun at an animal – saying he was able to "observe," "orient" and "decide" that "OK, this is the guy," he said before being resolute to "act."
The gunman, he said, was shocked by the armed response.
"He did not like it when bullets started firing both ways," Salinas, whose girlfriend at the restaurant was stuck in Williams fire, told the Statesman, adding he felt "no fear."
"There’s a task that needs to be done, and we’re the ones who need to do it," he added, only standing down when he said police took over the scene, thinking, "OK, my part is done." (Fox News) Read more here.

We pray for all of those who are suffering right now, that the pain and trauma would ease over time, in Jesus' name, amen.

1. IDF denies LAF report Lebanese troops wounded in Israeli strike - JNS
The Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) claimed on Sunday that its troops in the Bint Jbeil area had been wounded in an Israeli strike. The Israel Defense Forces, after initially telling JNS that it was “not aware of any IDF strikes” in the area involving injured LAF troops, discovered upon further investigation that the LAF vehicle had driven over an explosive device belonging to Hezbollah.
The LAF at first had claimed five soldiers sustained minor injuries in what it described as an “Israeli enemy attack.”
The LAF admitted in a subsequent statement that an inspection by a “specialized unit” found that the explosion had been caused by a “suspicious object,” rather than an IDF strike. It said the incident remained under investigation.
The incident occurred outside the Security Zone in southern Lebanon, where no IDF soldiers are present. (Read more)

2. Israel demands Hamas arms removed from Gaza before deal advances
- Israel Hayom
Israel has informed Gaza Board of Peace Director-General Nickolay Mladenov that while the 15-point document reached with Hamas represents progress, it is inconsistent with the principles of US President Donald Trump's peace plan and Israel's security requirements.
According to a senior Board of Peace official, the disagreements remained unresolved even after a contentious meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Mladenov. The first dispute concerns the timetable, which is important both for determining the starting point at which Israel would be required to cease fire and for setting the dates of an Israeli withdrawal.
Another major point of contention is Hamas' arsenal. Hamas' agreement to surrender its weapons to another party represents significant progress in itself, given that the terrorist organization has made armed struggle a central part of its identity. Israel, however, is demanding that the weapons be removed from the Gaza Strip for the territory to be considered demilitarized. The agreement instead calls for the weapons to be stored under the control of the Palestinian technocratic body expected to assume responsibility for governing Gaza. (Read more)

3. Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey scold Israel for strikes on Gaza terrorists
- Israel National News
Mediators Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey issued a joint declaration on Monday targeting Israel, alleging that IDF military operations directed at Hamas operatives in the Gaza Strip threaten the stability of the current ceasefire.
In their joint address, the trio denounced what they labeled as "the ongoing Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip", accusing the Jewish state of "particularly the targeting of healthcare facilities and medical infrastructure, and the resulting civilian casualties, including women and children, which constitute a flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law."
"The mediators stress the need for Israel to comply with all of its obligations under international law and to fully uphold its commitments under the ceasefire agreement, affirming that the continuation of these violations constitutes a breach of the agreement and undermines the efforts aimed at implementing its second phase, particularly following Hamas and the Palestinian factions’ announcement of their acceptance of the roadmap, especially the provision concerning the confinement of weapons," the statement read, adding that “these violations threaten the path toward de-escalation and exacerbate the suffering of civilians in the Gaza Strip." 4. After dissing IDF West Bank chief, announcing replacement on live TV, Katz now says he’s doing ‘well,’ isn’t ousted - Times of Israel
Defense Minister Israel Katz said Monday that IDF Central Command chief Maj. Gen. Avi Bluth, the army’s top officer in the West Bank, is “performing his duties well,” further walking back his declared move to replace the commander on live TV just a day earlier.
Katz stressed Bluth “has not been dismissed, and claimed “there is no disagreement” between them, less than 24 hours after he had denounced the general for wilfully contravening his instructions regarding a violent settler.
Katz’s Monday evening statement came shortly after a Channel 13 report said the defense minister’s initial castigation of Bluth had infuriated Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. (Read more)

5. Europe's elites turn against Israel, but Its people are awakening - Israel Hayom
I write these lines as the editor of an Italian newspaper that has never hidden its pro-Israel stance. I do so addressing an Israeli audience because I believe it useful, and indeed necessary, to provide an honest picture of the climate that exists today in Europe regarding Israel. A picture that contains two opposing elements, destined to coexist for a long time to come.
The first element is worrying and, in many ways, bleak. There exists in Europe a climate of prejudice and of political and media hostility toward Israel that has reached levels barely imaginable only ten years ago. This is not merely criticism of a government's policies: it is a dominant narrative that transforms the legitimate self-defense of a democratic Jewish state into "aggression," "occupation," "genocide." Newsrooms, universities, the parties of the institutional left, and much of European diplomacy have internalized a lexicon and an interpretive framework that make any balanced reasoning almost impossible.
After October 7 this hostility has not softened: it has radicalized. The wall is often ideological, cultural, almost theological. Breaking it is extremely difficult. Those who try are labeled, isolated, sometimes threatened. (Read more)

1. Gulf frustrated with US, turns to China to rein in Iran - Israel Hayom
Saudi Arabia is demanding that the US and China find solutions to the crises in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb and restore the free passage of tankers and commercial vessels from the Gulf to the rest of the world.
Riyadh's appeal to China, alongside its approach to the US, reflects Beijing's status as the main consumer of Gulf oil and gas. Although China has alternative suppliers, including Russia, they cannot fully meet the vast country's energy needs.
According to Reuters, the Gulf states are turning to Beijing amid growing frustration over the war, which has placed them in the line of fire and disrupted their vital energy exports. The appeal is testing China's dual role as both a major buyer of Gulf oil and Iran's largest trading partner. (Read more)

Lord, we do pray that You provide solutions to opening up access to the Strait of Hormuz. We also pray that this war with Iran would end quickly. We ask that You would turn the hearts of the leaders of these Gulf nations to move away from China, and to continue to rely upon the U.S. and our own allies for their own protection and support.

2. IDF arrests over 200 terror suspects across Judea and Samaria - Israel National News
Over the past week, IDF troops conducted dozens of counterterrorism operations throughout Judea and Samaria.
During the operations, more than 200 wanted individuals were apprehended. Among those apprehended were individuals involved in promoting and inciting terrorism, suspects affiliated with the Hamas terrorist organization, a wanted individual who was planning to carry out an imminent terrorist attack, suspects involved in smuggling illegal residents, arms dealers, and a wanted individual involved in manufacturing explosive devices.
The troops confiscated dozens of items used to manufacture weapons, airsoft weapons, hunting rifles, a pistol, a UAV, and tens of thousands of Shekels intended for terrorist activity. They also located and dismantled five explosive devices.
In addition, the mapping of the homes of two terrorists who carried out last weekend’s attack was completed, and one of the homes was sealed ahead of its demolition. (Read more)

3. State department to offer Trump-branded US passports nationwide - The Guardian
Americans outside the nation’s capital will soon be able to get limited-edition passports that feature a picture of Donald Trump and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, the state department announced.
The department’s 27 passport agencies nationwide will start offering the special travel documents next month. They previously had only been available at the Washington DC passport office for in-person applicants.
Trump, whose stern portrait is emblazoned on an inside page, is the first living president featured in the travel document. The government plans to issue more than 250,000 of the passports nationally and has dubbed them “patriot passports”.
Passport offices in Centennial, Colorado; Chicago; Dallas; Detroit; New Orleans; New York; and Stamford, Connecticut, will offer the Trump passports at one-day special events starting on 8 August. The list will grow to include other passport offices. (Read more)

4. US drops charges against Olympian in Reflecting Pool damage, citing flawed work - USA Today
The U.S. Justice Department announced it is dropping charges against a former Olympian after the Trump administration admitted the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool damage was caused by a contractor's flawed work.
The damage to the reflecting pool "was the result of flawed installation by the contractor ... and the rush to complete the project prior to events associated with the America 250 celebration in the weeks surrounding Independence Day 2026," U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro's office wrote in a July 31 court filing obtained by USA TODAY.
The filing from the government moved to dismiss the criminal case against David Hearn, an Olympic canoeist who was arrested in June on a felony destruction of property charge after he was accused of causing more than $1,000 in damage to the pool.
But the government's only grand jury witness, a National Park Service official, testified that the Reflecting Pool was already damaged before Hearn touched it, according to court filings obtained by USA TODAY earlier this week.
It was only after Hearn was indicted that the Department of Interior provided the U.S. Attorney's office with documents "showing that the damage was the result of a botched installation and not vandalism as initially represented" by the Interior. (Read more)

Thank You, Lord, that the charges were dropped against this former Olympian. We are saddened that documents that show the reflecting pool were damaged previously did not come forth prior to this Olympian having to go through this charge against him. We ask that our justice department would act more quickly to prevent people from having to go through this hardship.

Because We Listen
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, August 3, 2026
Ekev (Because), Deuteronomy 7:12-11:25, begins with a powerful promise. Moses is reinforcing the principles of the covenant God made with Israel and what is expected from them as a chosen nation in the Promised Land. If they are faithful in keeping the covenant, they will be blessed spiritually and materially. They should never attribute their position to themselves or their own righteousness. Moses reminds them of the sin of the Golden Calf and Korah’s rebellion, yet also of God’s love, care, and forgiveness, exhorting them to love God and teach their children to love Him. As Jonathan Sacks observed, “Israel’s fate depends on Israel’s faith.”
Ekev begins, “Because (ekev) you are listening to these rulings, keeping and obeying them, ADONAI your God will keep with you the covenant and mercy (loving kindness) that He swore to your ancestors” (Deuteronomy 7:12). Normally, ekev means “heel,” sharing the same root as Jacob (Ya’akov), who grasped Esau’s heel at birth. Here, however, it means “because of” or “on the heels of,” illustrating that God's blessings follow faithful obedience. The covenant called Israel to trust God, remember His faithfulness, and walk humbly in His ways. That truth still speaks today. Blessing is never earned by self-righteousness but received through faithful hearts that honor the Lord. Read More

"A tremendous tragedy":
thousands evacuated,
hundreds of structures destroyed in Spokane Area Fires
|
|
|
|
SPOKANE, Wash. - Hundreds of homes were lost in a series of fires that broke out in the Spokane area in the afternoon of August 1. First responders mobilized quickly on three fires, the Old Trails Fire north of Airway Heights, Autumn Lane Fire near Five Mile Falls and the Fairview Fire near Mead.
A "particularly dangerous situation" alert was set for Saturday for red flag conditions in the region that helped the fires grow to thousands of acres Saturday. Evacuations were issued for many homes in the area, and crews worked throughout the night to protect structures.
Spokane County Sheriff John Nowels emphasized on Monday that neighborhoods still under Level 3 evacuation orders are not safe and residents should stay away. “Because of the weather conditions, because of the fire behavior, those homes could quickly be threatened and people could be in real danger," Nowels said. "If it’s a Level 3 evacuation area, please stay out. Let our firefighters do the work they need to do.” Nowels also said people entering neighborhoods under Level 3 evacuation orders makes it harder to quickly identify looters or individuals doing “nefarious things.”
Additionally, more than 200 people called the Spokane County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) for evacuation after the fires broke out. Nowels said the sheriff's office has been able to account for all of them by phone except for 14.
The total combined size for the three fires making up the Spokane Area Fires is 8,026 acres. The Old Trails Fire is burning 3,619 acres, the Autumn Lane Fire is around 3,351 acres in size, and the Fairview Fire is burning around 1,046 acres.
According to California Interagency Incident Management Team 7, the total number of structures impacted is more than 600. However, "impacted" does not necessarily mean completely destroyed. More than 900 firefighters are working the Spokane Area Fires on Monday. That number is expected to grow to more than 2000 this week.
Incident command said a major emphasis Monday is keeping drones out of the sky after 26 incidents of interference on Sunday. If drones are in the sky, air attack on the fires has to be halted until the situation is clear. (Read more here)

Merciful Father,
We pray over these devastating fires in the Spokane, Washington area of our nation. Father, send rain to put out these horrendous fires that have destroyed more than 8,000 acres and are still growing and destroying hundreds of structures and homes. We pray, Lord, that the drones in the sky that are creating problems for the firefighters with 26 incidents reported on Sunday will cease so that the firemen can concentrate on putting out the fires.
Lord, as the evacuations continue, we pray for mercy and comfort for those who are in danger of losing their lives, homes and belongings. We bless the firefighters and first responders as they put their own lives in danger to evacuate those who are in immediate danger of the fires. Father, supernaturally make a way for these fires to be put out quickly. In Jesus' name. Amen and Amen.
"Even though I walk through the darkest valley. I will fear no evil, for you are with me, Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." (Psalm 23:4)

House Dem, 80, Hospitalized After Hit-and-Run Crash
While Campaigning for 23rd Term
|
|
|
|
Rep. Marcy Kaptur, a Democrat from Ohio, was hospitalized Sunday after a vehicle she was riding in was struck by a hit-and-run driver, according to her office.
Police in Toledo said the Democratic lawmaker suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening. In a statement posted on X, Kaptur’s office said she was heading to a church service when the crash occurred.
“This morning Congresswoman Kaptur was a passenger in a vehicle on her way to a church service when the car she was traveling in was struck,” her office said in a statement. “She is active, alert, and being treated for non-life threatening injuries,” Kaptur’s office added.
“We look forward to additional information from Toledo Police as they investigate the accident. Congresswoman Kaptur is thankful for the quick actions of first responders from Toledo Police and Fire Departments who arrived promptly on scene, and the medical professionals helping to take care of those involved in the crash.”
The 80-year-old’s staff concluded, “She expressed her deep gratitude to the hundreds of constituents who have reached out and looks forward to returning to a full schedule soon.”
Toledo Police did not offer a suspect description.
According to CBS News, officers responded shortly before 11 a.m. local time on Sunday to the area of Detroit Avenue and Central Avenue. Two people, including Kaptur, were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to police.
Per CBS News, a witness told police the hit-and-run driver was picked up by another vehicle and fled the scene immediately after the incident.
Kaptur, 80, has represented Ohio’s 9th Congressional District since 1983. She is the longest-serving woman in Congress in either chamber. Kaptur is seeking a 23rd term in the House in November. (The Western Journal) Read more here.

Lord God,
We pray for Democratic Representative, Marcy Kapture, from Ohio who suffered non life threatening injuries from an accident in a car she was riding in that was caused by a hit and run driver. We pray, Lord, that the hit and run driver will be apprehended and for justice to be done. Thank You, Lord, for the quick responses of the Toledo Police and emergency responders as they covered this accident.
Father, we pray for a quick healing for 80 year old Marcy and the others she was riding with as they recover in the hospital. Let Your spirit penetrate the hospital that they are in and let them see that it was You, Almighty God, that saved them from being seriously injured so that You will get all the praise.
"And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well, the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven." (James 5:15)

Trump Cites 'Signal of Friendship' as U.S. Joins Japan to Boost Yen
|
|
|
|
The U.S. moved to support Japan on Friday in their first joint action in 28 years to boost the yen after the struggling currency plunged to a four-decade low.
President Donald Trump applauded the historic intervention in the yen market as a “signal of friendship” that would financially benefit the U.S. and the wider global economy.
The full scope and scale of the joint operation is not known, but AFP reports it is the first since 2011 when the two countries — and other G7 members — sold yen to stop it rising after a huge earthquake.
Trump affirmed the concerted action aboard Air Force One saying “friendship” with Japan is “good for the world economy.” Trump outlined, “And we’re always there for Japan. Japan’s been very good to us, with the exception, of course, of Pearl Harbor,” Trump added, referring to the Japanese attacks on the Pacific U.S. naval base in World War II.
“We will not hesitate to participate in further joint intervention,” U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said, adding U.S. officials “strongly support Japan’s decisive market and monetary steps to correct the substantial undervaluation of the yen.” (Breitbart) Read more here.

Lord God,
We thank You that President Trump has taken this opportunity to strengthen the ties between our two nations. We ask that this action will, indeed, boost the value of the yen as Japan continues to recover from the earthquake it suffered several years ago. We speak blessings over this joint action, in Jesus' name, amen and amen.
"In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Ancient Book of Revelation city gives up stunning secret buried for 1,500 years

An ancient mosaic was recently revealed in a Turkish city long known for being one of the seven churches mentioned in the Book of Revelation.
The artwork was uncovered in the ancient city of Smyrna, an archaeological site in modern-day İzmir, Turkey, according to Turkish state news outlet Anadolu Agency (AA).
Smyrna — along with Ephesus, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea — is one of the seven churches of Asia Minor addressed by Jesus in the Book of Revelation.
Revelation 2:8 states: "To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of him who is the First and the Last, who died and came to life again."
The mosaic was found during infrastructure work at the archaeological site. It dates to between the fourth and sixth centuries A.D., according to officials, and measures roughly 16.4 by 8.2 feet.
Photos show archaeologists brushing away centuries of dirt to reveal the remarkably preserved 1,500-year-old mosaic and its geometric and floral motifs.
Excavation director Akın Ersoy said the mosaic was first found last year, but archaeologists did not fully excavate the artwork until this year, according to AA.
"In connection with this, we also found traces of the walls that defined the space," said Ersoy.
"We believe that a structure was built over the mosaic during the Ottoman period in the 19th century, and that the new layout was created while avoiding damage to the mosaic floor as much as possible. (Fox News) Read More

"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
