Hundreds of Christians Rally to Pray Across Tennessee:
'Our Hope Is in Jesus Alone'
|

Hundreds of Christians from various denominations in Tennessee gathered together to pray and seek God, believing for a move by His Spirit that will ultimately "transform" families, cities, the Volunteer State, and the nation.
A 30-day prayer and fasting initiative, called Pray4TN, launched on July 1 and concluded over the weekend on August 2nd. Organizers told CBN News in an emailed statement that while similar events have been held before, this year's timing was critical.
"It's a time at the beginning of the TN government's fiscal year when we focus on praying for our government leaders, humbling ourselves and repenting for our shortcomings, standing in the gap and repenting for the evils in our state, and repenting of our own personal sins. We want Jesus to be honored in Tennessee as the Volunteer State that is #LeadingtheWay," wrote Barbi Franklin, Pray4TN State Facilitator.
As CBN News reported, State Rep. Monty Fritts (R) took steps last year to spearhead a resolution that would officially make the month of July a month to pray, fast and repent.
HJR0051 was signed in May by Gov. Bill Lee, designating the period of July 1, 2025, through July 31, 2025, as a time of prayer and fasting in Tennessee, seeking God's hand of mercy and healing on the state.
Organizers say that with the signing of the resolution, they believe it placed an "unprecedented, annual call for those 'physically able and spiritually inclined' to join in the effort."
"Tennessee faces urgent challenges: deadly drugs in our smallest towns, broken families, rising crime, and more that make the need for hope and healing essential. But no law or politician can offer this, and without repentance, there is no Revival. Our hope is in Jesus alone," reads a statement on their website. (CBN) Read more here.

Kremlin Responds to Trump’s Submarine Move, Urges Caution on Nuclear Rhetoric

The Russian government on Aug. 4 responded to President Donald Trump’s moving of two nuclear submarines closer to its territory in response to comments made by a former Russian president.
Trump said on Aug. 1 that he had ordered two nuclear submarines to be moved to “the appropriate regions” in response to what he called “highly provocative” statements by former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
Nuclear-capable vessels are “in the region” of Russia, Trump said, although he did not go into details.
While he said the nuclear submarine repositioning came in response to Medvedev’s remarks, he did not elaborate on what the former Russian president said.
However, he was likely referring to a post on Telegram from Medvedev that noted that Russia has a “dead hand” system that automatically activates nuclear weapons if the country’s leadership were to fall.
In its first public response to Trump’s order, Moscow appeared to play down the significance and said Russia was not looking to get into a spat with the American president.
“In this case, it is obvious that American submarines are already on combat duty. This is a constant process,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Aug. 4, according to state-run media outlet RT.
Peskov said that Russia does not want to “get involved in such a controversy in any way” and that it is “very careful about any statements related to nuclear issues.” He said that Moscow is “very attentive to the topic of nuclear non-proliferation.”
“We believe that everyone should be very, very careful with nuclear rhetoric,” the longtime Kremlin spokesman said.
“We do not believe that we are talking about any escalation now. It is clear that very complex, very sensitive issues are being discussed, which, of course, are perceived very emotionally by many people.” (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

According to Burr, Biden’s director of the FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products (CTP), Brian King, bears special blame for overseeing an agency so crippled by inaction that, Burr said, "most of the products that are on the marketplace today not only are illegal, they have never even attempted to go through an application process at the FDA." Israel’s government likely to approve plan to re-occupy Gaza, Israeli media reports

Israel’s Security Cabinet is set to meet on Tuesday to discuss next steps in the nearly two-year-old war with the Hamas terror group in the Gaza Strip, including the possibility of taking full control of the Palestinian enclave and operating militarily in areas they have refrained from entering until now, the local media reported.
Israeli journalist Amit Segal, a commentator for Channel 12, the country’s highest-rated news broadcast, quoted a source from the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as saying that the "decision has been made… we are going to occupy the Gaza Strip."
"Hamas will not release hostages without total surrender, if we do not operate now the hostages will die of starvation and Gaza will stay under Hamas’ control," Segal quoted the official as saying.
"Israel for months was at a crossroad and, let’s be honest, it was not achieving victory or the hostages. The mandate for a deal was broad, but we did not get agreement, so we will go for occupation," he quoted.
The reports of deepening the military operation in Gaza come after months of mediated ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas appeared to have collapsed this week and despite assurances by U.S. Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff, who visited Israel over the weekend, that he was working on a plan that would end the war. Netanyahu responds after Israeli hostage seen emaciated, digging grave: 'Cruelty of Hamas has no boundaries'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has responded to a disturbing new Hamas propaganda video showing 24-year-old Israeli hostage Evyatar David severely emaciated and digging what he said was his own grave.
"The cruelty of Hamas has no boundaries," Netanyahu said in a statement. "While the State of Israel is allowing the entry of humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza, the terrorists of Hamas are deliberately starving our hostages and document them in a cynical and evil manner."
"The entire world must take a stand in a clear message against the criminal Nazi abuse perpetrated by the Hamas terror organization," Netanyahu added.
The office of the Israeli prime minister said Saturday that Netanyahu had spoken "at length" with the families of David and another hostage, Rom Braslavski, who was recently seen in similar condition. Netanyahu "expressed profound shock over the materials distributed by the terror organizations Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad." According to his office, the prime minister told the families "that the efforts to return all our hostages are ongoing, and will continue constantly and relentlessly."
His office said Netanyahu also "conveyed, in his wife Sara's name, a great embrace to the families, telling them that she is heartbroken over the unbearable videos."
In one video released by the terror group and made public Friday, a shirtless David is seen crossing off dates on a calendar and digging the grave in a tunnel barely as tall as he is.
In a statement released through the Hostages Families Forum Headquarters, David's family said they were forced to watch their beloved son and brother "deliberately and cynically starved in Hamas’s tunnels in Gaza – a living skeleton, buried alive."

1. After war meet, Netanyahu said to favor complete conquest of Gaza even if hostages harmed - Times of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with senior security officials on Tuesday to hammer out Gaza war plans, and reportedly came out in favor of the military taking control of the entire enclave, even if it meant that the remaining hostages could be harmed or executed by Hamas.
The meeting came amid multiple reports of rising tensions between the prime minister and IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir over the prospect of Israeli forces fully occupying the enclave.
The Prime Minister’s Office said in a brief statement that Netanyahu “held a limited security discussion today that lasted about 3 hours, in which the chief of staff presented the options for continuing the campaign in Gaza.” (Read more)

2. Sa'ar at UN: Countries that backed Palestinian state 'assasinated hostage deal, prolonged war' - Jerusalem Post
Those who continue to back a Palestinian state have "directly assassinated the hostage deal and ceasefire," Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said in a statement at the UN on Tuesday.
"They gave Hamas free gifts. Let me be clear: These countries prolonged the war," he said.
Sa'ar discussed the recent videos released by Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad of hostages Evyatar David and Rom Braslavsky.
"Bones standing out in their skin. Like living skeletons... this is satanic," he said.

3. Israel unveils new aid mechanism for Gaza to bypass Hamas, sideline UN

Israel announced a new mechanism to gradually and carefully resume the entry of goods into the Gaza Strip through the private commercial sector on Tuesday, marking a significant shift in its humanitarian aid policy to bypass Hamas and sideline the United Nations.
“Following the Cabinet’s decision to expand the scope of humanitarian aid and following staff work formulated within the defense establishment, a mechanism was approved to resume the entry of goods through the private sector in Gaza in a gradual and controlled manner,” said Israel’s Defense Ministry in a statement.
“This is with the aim of increasing the scope of aid entering the Gaza Strip, while reducing dependence on the collection of aid by the UN and international organizations.”
A special report by The Press Service of Israel on Thursday found that, according to the UN’s own numbers, a staggering 85% of the aid entering the Gaza Strip by truck since May 19 has been stolen. (Read more)

4. IDF bans Chinese vehicles from all bases over data leak fears

The IDF has issued a sweeping ban on the entry of Chinese-made vehicles to all its bases, citing concerns over potential data leaks from onboard cameras and sensors.
The new directive will require career officers and civilian employees who own Chinese vehicles to park them outside military bases. The concern is that sensitive information could be compromised through the cars’ built-in surveillance and sensor systems.
As first reported by Calcalist, the IDF last month restricted parking for Chinese vehicles at the Gideonim Communications Corps base near Tzrifin. 2. 'CRIMINAL acts': Kash Patel gets asked to help Texas track down and arrest fugitive Democrat lawmakers - Breitbart
FBI Director Kash Patel, along with federal law-enforcement resources, has been enlisted to help state authorities track down and arrest Democrat Texas lawmakers who've fled to Illinois to prevent the Republican-controlled legislature from approving a redistricting plan that favors the GOP.
As reported by the Gateway Pundit, Texas U.S. Sen. John Cornyn Monday sent a letter to Patel, urging the FBI to deploy federal resources to assist in the Democrats' arrest.

4. North Carolina Republicans override veto to defund ‘gender transitions,’ protect parental rights - LifesiteNews
The North Carolina legislature voted to enact a new law comprehensively cracking down on the transgender agenda and its threats to religious freedom and conscience rights (plus impose new limits on the pornography industry and further protections for parental rights), overriding a veto from Democrat Gov. Josh Stein.
Stein vetoed it July 3, claiming that it added “divisive, job-killing culture wars” to an early draft that only had the porn provisions, which he supported. Yet on July 29, the House voted 72-48 to override his veto, and the Senate voted 30-19 to do the same, making it law despite the governor’s objection.
“We applaud the NC House and Senate for taking this needed and common-sense step to protect women and girls, and to reaffirm parental rights in our state,” reacted North Carolina Values Coalition Executive Director Tami Fitzgerald. “NC needed to define two sexes by biology in the law so that women are not robbed of safety, dignity, and opportunities. 5. British Mums Leading Nationwide Protests Against Migrants Assaulting Their Daughters - PJ Media
In 2018, small boats began crossing the English Channel from France, crammed with migrants from the Middle East and Africa. They were hazarding the water crossing from France to avoid traditional border controls and reach the UK, with its liberal asylum policies.
The troubles began in early July when Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu, a 38-year-old Ethiopian, arrived “informally on a boat” and claimed asylum in Britain. The migrant propositioned and tried to kiss a 14-year-old girl in a restaurant close to the hotel. Kebatu was charged on July 17 with “three counts of sexual assault, one count of inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity, and one count of harassment without violence."
That's when all hell began to break loose.
On the same day Keebatu was charged, about a thousand people showed up in front of the hotel to protest. Most of them were local women enraged at the danger their daughters were exposed to on a daily basis.
“I just want the hotel to be moved, not only off our streets, but away from making any other family feel how we’re feeling right now,” the 14-year-old’s father said in a letter to the town council. “It’s not fair that the Government are putting our children and grandchildren at risk, even their own.” (Read more)

6. United Nations Admits: 88% of Its Aid Trucks into Gaza Were Looted - Breitbart
The United Nations has admitted that 88% of the aid trucks it brought into Gaza since mid-May were looted, or “diverted,” either by Hamas and other armed groups, or by mobs of Palestinian civilians.
The admission, based on the United Nations’ own data, contrasts starkly with the success of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which has not been looted once during the same period, due to its use of private security contractors.
The Times of Israel reported: The United Nations Office for Project Services has published data showing that since the resumption of humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza on May 19 and up until August 5, a total of 2,604 aid trucks were collected by the UN after entering the Strip. Of those, 2,309 did not reach their intended destinations inside the enclave. (Read more)

Media Continues to Mislead on Obama Coup Coverage

A Daily Jot analysis of media coverage surrounding the deliberate coup orchestrated by Barack Obama in collusion with the Democratic National Committee, the Hillary Clinton campaign, and various intel agencies indicates a tremendous lack of mainstream corporate media participation. In fact, the mainstream media has largely ignored or downplayed the story. Analysts estimate only about 20–30 % of major outlets have even reported on these revelations, with just ~10 % of that coverage verifying the claims and roughly 70 % downplaying or dismissing them. Tone-wise, about 75 % of reports have criticized or rejected the narrative, leaving only 25 % sympathetic to the thrust of the evidence.
Despite mounting documentation, mainstream media is treating this treasonous undermining and apparent overthrow of a duly-elected president like a footnote, not the constitutional crisis it is. The smoking gun is clear: the Clinton campaign and DNC funded the Steele dossier via Fusion GPS and Perkins Coie. That dossier became the centerpiece for FISA surveillance of the Trump campaign. The Department of Justice Inspector General and Special Counsel John Durham found that the FBI exhibited confirmation bias, lacked analytical discipline, and failed to consult seasoned Russia analysts before opening Crossfire Hurricane. Durham’s 306‑page report concluded the investigation lacked proper basis and ignored intelligence in Clinton Plan documents indicating the dossier may have been engineered to vilify Trump. Read More

Senator Introduces Legislation to Ban US Visas for Chinese, Iranian Students

Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) has introduced legislation aimed at preventing students from adversarial countries, particularly China and Iran, from obtaining student visas to study in the United States.
Tuberville announced his legislation, the Student Visa Integrity Act (S. 2555), in a statement on July 31. He said he was “recently shocked” to learn how many students from hostile countries were studying at U.S. universities, including institutions in Alabama.
“We need to go on offense against countries who hate us and are desperate to try to take us down—as we saw with the violent, anti-American protests on our college campuses over the past few months,” Tuberville said in the statement.
“There is zero reason why we should be allowing students from countries that hate us to take the spot of a law-abiding American citizen at our elite colleges and universities.”

House Speaker Prays At Western Wall For US To ‘Always Stand With Israel

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) offered a prayer at the Western Wall in Jerusalem on Sunday that America should always stand with Israel.
Johnson, who is heading a congressional delegation to Israel amid the nearly two-year-long war against Hamas in Gaza, is known for his strong support for the Jewish state.
A Christian who is very public about his faith, his visit took place against the backdrop of burgeoning relations between Israel and American evangelicals.
“We are grateful for the privilege of being here in Israel today, on the day we recognize the destruction of the Temple twice in history,” Johnson said, as Jews around the world marked Tisha B’Av.
“Our prayer is that America will always stand with Israel and for the preservation and peace of Jerusalem.”
The House speaker’s delegation included Michael Cloud (R-Texas), Michael McCaul (R-Texas), Nathaniel Moran (R-Texas) and Claudia Tenney (R-N.Y.). Heather Johnston, founder and executive director of the U.S. Israel Education Association also participated.
The delegation met with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar and Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, who thanked them and U.S. President Donald Trump for their strong moral support for Israel. (United with Israel) Read more here.

Gifford Fire grows to over 65,000 acres on California’s Central Coast
|

The Gifford Fire continued to burn Monday in California’s Central Coast region, prompting expanded evacuation orders and road closures as the blaze grew to more than 65,000 acres.
The fire, which ignited Friday afternoon northeast of Santa Maria in the Los Padres National Forest, is only 3% contained. At least three people have also been injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Explosive wildfires tear through the West as megafires emerge
|

Wildfires are tearing across the West, fueled by extreme heat, dry vegetation and gusty winds. California and Arizona are facing megafires, with crews racing to contain fast-moving flames and protect threatened communities.
Wildfires are intensifying across the western United States, with extreme heat, dry fuels and gusty winds pushing several into megafire territory. From Arizona to California, crews are battling fast-moving flames and days of brutal conditions.
The Dragon Bravo Fire, burning along the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, has scorched nearly 123,000 acres since a lightning strike ignited it on July 4. According to the National Interagency Fire Center, it is currently the largest wildfire in the Lower 48 states.
Containment has dropped back to just 13% after the fire briefly reached 26% over the weekend. Crews say worsening weather has caused erratic fire behavior, particularly along the northern and southwestern flanks.
The fire became so intense that it generated its own weather and exploded into what officials call a "megafire" that has spawned its own weather systems, according to a news release from the Southwest Area Complex Incident Management Team. Fire information officer Lisa Jennings told The Associated Press on Thursday that pyrocumulus clouds—also known as fire clouds—were observed over the blaze for at least seven days in a row. Read More
