DHS Arrested Over 900 Human Trafficking Suspects
and Rescued 180 Victims during FIFA World Cup
|

The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) celebrates the resounding success of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in cracking down on human trafficking operations during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. In total, HSI and the DHS Center for Countering Human Trafficking (CCHT), along with federal, state, and local partners, arrested 905 suspects and rescued 180 victims—150 adults and 30 juveniles.
In one operation on July 24, HSI Dallas executed 8 federal arrest warrants related to an adult bookstore in Dallas that had operated as an illicit and covert brothel for more than 20 years. The investigation, which was started by HSI Dallas in 2023, determined that thousands of adults and minors were sold for commercial sex through the illicit business, with dozens of victims being identified. One victim was murdered in 2024, for which a defendant was convicted and sentenced to life in prison. The targets of the arrest warrants were indicted on multiple counts, including conspiracy to commit sex trafficking, sex trafficking through force, fraud, and coercion, and conspiracy to launder monetary instruments. The investigation is being prosecuted by the US Attorney's Office in the Northern District of Texas.
In another operation on June 23, HSI San Francisco, along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the San Francisco Police Department, conducted an operation that identified two female minor victims of human trafficking and rescued them. One of the two victims was reported missing out of Bakersfield, California in November of 2025 and had not been seen since.
"While Americans and international visitors were enjoying the FIFA World Cup, the men and women of ICE law enforcement were hard at work cracking down on human trafficking operations in FIFA host cities across the country," said Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. "Federal law enforcement arrested more than 900 suspects and rescued nearly 200 victims. Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, we are dismantling human trafficking networks." Abdul El-Sayed Defeats Haley Stevens and Democrat Establishment, Will Face Republican Mike Rogers

Abdul El-Sayed has defeated establishment Democrat Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI), according to race calls from NBC News and Decision Desk following Tuesday’s primary in which the radical transformation of the Democratic Party is center stage.
El-Sayed, a public health official and former failed candidate for governor in 2018, delivered the most high-profile win to date for the movement increasingly calling the shots in Democrat politics. While he is not a formal member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), the ascendant power center of left-wing American politics, DSA officials including Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) campaigned hard for him over several months leading up to the August primary.
El-Sayed surged to double-digit leads in most polls with overwhelming grassroots support despite Stevens and establishment allies spending over $30 million on her behalf. Additionally, Stevens earned endorsements from a host of establishment Democrats including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and outgoing Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
With over 95 percent of results in, El-Sayed leads Stevens by approximately 16,000 votes. Mallory McMorrow, who dropped out of the contest and made a primary eve endorsement of El-Sayed, still captured 61,000 votes in the primary.
El-Sayed ran up the score in Kent and Washtenaw counties, leading with affluent white voters, as Stevens performed better with Michigan’s working class voters statewide.

Fetterman Says He Has No Intention of Leaving Democrat Party: 'Never'

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) confirmed that he has no intention of ditching the Democrat Party, pointing out that he votes “90-something percent with Democrats.”
In an interview with the New York Times, Fetterman said that Democrats who “want to abolish the border, abolish prison, abolish the presidency,” and the U.S. Senate are supporting “full-on communism.” Fetterman also shut down speculation that he was going to switch his political affiliation, stating that he would “seek” the outlet out and “give” them the exclusive if he ever changes his mind — while saying he never would.
“Never,” Fetterman told the outlet. “I’m not being cute. I vote 90-something percent with Democrats.”
The Times tied speculation of a possible Fetterman party change in with the upcoming midterm elections:

Spanberger Restores Voting Rights to 66,000 Virginia Felons

Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D) announced that her administration has restored voting rights to more than 66,000 Virginians who have “past felony convictions.”
In a press release on Friday, Spanberger expressed that “the right to vote is foundational to who we are as Americans.” Spanberger added that as a gubernatorial candidate and since taking office she has “heard from many Virginians who have shared their personal stories of redemption with me.”
Per the press release, the civil rights restored by Spanberger also include “the right to vote, serve on a jury,” and to “run for public office”:
“I’m proud that — after contending with my predecessor’s efforts to deny Virginians their fundamental rights — we have restored the rights of more than 66,000 Virginians who have served their time,” Spanberger said. “These Virginians deserve the right to use their vote, make their voices heard, and be recognized as contributing citizens to our Commonwealth and country.” (Breitbart) Read more here.

Bill Maher Draws Audible Gasps From Audience When He Reads DSA’s Own Words

Bill Maher told his audience that the Democratic Party is being taken over by communists, and the crowd’s stunned reaction proved his point.
The HBO host used the closing segment of Friday’s “Real Time” to argue that the Democratic Socialists of America have embraced communism openly, according to a clip Maher released on X. Maher said that when President Donald Trump labels the group communist, the description holds up. “Donald Trump has told one trillion lies, but when he says the Democratic Socialists of America are actually communist, that’s not one of them,” Maher said in the clip.
Maher built his case by reading statements from DSA figures and candidates. He pointed to the DSA platform’s borrowing from Karl Marx and noted that New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani once posted Marx’s words directly. Maher also cited a faction called the Marxist Unity Group, which he said now holds sway inside the organization and describes its aim as a classless society, “in a word, communism."
The audience went silent when Maher recounted a social media post from Cea Weaver, a top Mamdani aide, urging voters to back communist candidates. “Yes. Good, I’m glad you’re shocked,” Maher said. “People got to realize this is going on.”

The Senate confirmed the next director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as viral outbreaks wreak havoc across the country, and as lawmakers worry whether they’ve found someone to stand up to President Donald Trump’s top health official.
The upper chamber confirmed Dr. Erica Schwartz to be the next CDC director on Wednesday along party lines. Her confirmation comes as a Cyclospora outbreak, commonly known as the diarrhea parasite, carves its way across the U.S. from contaminated lettuce.
Schwartz is the latest person to lead the agency during Trump’s second term in a position that has seen nearly a half dozen different names and faces helming the nation’s disease-fighting outfit.
She almost didn’t make the cut for a full confirmation vote.
Lawmakers on the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee grilled Schwartz on whether she would actually stand up to the Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his position on vaccines.
Notably, HELP Committee Chair Bill Cassidy, R-La., who proved the decisive vote to confirm Kennedy last year, didn’t buy whether she would just take orders or make scientific and medically-based decisions.
When pressed during her initial committee hearing whether she would buck orders that were politically motivated, Schwartz told Cassidy, "The secretary will absolutely allow me to be CDC director."
"I feel like I’m having to go after this question a little bit more firmly than I feel like I should," Cassidy said. "You can be CDC director and just take orders. We need a CDC director that will actually stand up to crazy, stupid things being said that undermine faith in immunization."
That changed, though, and Schwartz cleared her committee test. Cassidy, who has used his newfound freedom to test the waters against the administration after being ousted by a Trump-backed opponent in his primary, said the agency "needs someone who understands that the way to prevent vaccine-preventable diseases is to reassure the public that vaccines are safe and effective." 1. Israel weighs stronger Lebanon response after Hezbollah ceasefire breach

Israeli political leaders blocked a request from the Israel Defense Forces for broader strikes in Lebanon after what the military described as a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire by Hezbollah, opting instead for more limited attacks as discussions continued over whether to escalate the response, Ynet reported.
The IDF said it launched targeted strikes in southern Lebanon after accusing Hezbollah of violating the ceasefire.
Security officials and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continued consultations over whether to authorize a more forceful operation later in the night, and it remained unclear whether the current attacks would be Israel’s final response. (Read more)

2. IDF announces 2 reservists killed, 4 seriously wounded by IED blast in south Lebanon - Times of Israel
Two reservist soldiers were killed, and four were seriously wounded after being hit by an explosive device in the southern Lebanon town of Majdal Zoun yesterday, the IDF announces.
The slain troops are named as: Maj. (res.) Harel Birenstock, 34, a company commander from Nokdim; and Sgt. Maj. (res.) Tamir Vaknin, 33, from Eilat. Both served in the 55th Paratroopers Brigade’s 2855th Battalion.
According to an initial IDF probe, at around noon on Wednesday, troops of the reserve brigade entered a structure in Majdal Zoun, during efforts to demolish Hezbollah infrastructure. As they entered the building, an explosion occurred, killing and injuring the forces. (Read more)

3. Israel, Lebanon make no progress in Rome talks - Israel Hayom
Lebanese newspaper Al-Modon reported that the first day of talks between Israeli and Lebanese delegations in Rome on Tuesday ended without a breakthrough.
The talks were difficult and tense, according to the report, and Israel did not provide a final answer regarding a halt to controlled demolitions, one of the Lebanese delegation's demands. No progress was reported on establishing a verification mechanism for disarming Hezbollah in the pilot areas.
The only development was Israel's agreement to discuss the border dispute between the two countries, though those discussions produced no practical results. Sources familiar with the talks said it would be necessary to wait until the current round concluded to determine whether Israel's political leadership would make decisions allowing its delegation to provide answers, rather than merely continue the discussions. Sources stated that Hamas has conditioned the rollout of Phase Two on Israel fully honoring its commitments from the first phase. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Wednesday that Tehran would support any initiative or decision taken by Palestinian leaders in ongoing indirect negotiations between terrorist group Hamas and Israel, Iranian state media reported.
Pezeshkian pledged Iran's support for the Palestinian leaders' decision in a phone call with the head of Hamas' political bureau, Khalil al-Hayya.

On Friday, Axios reported that officials from Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) urged Hamas delegation members not to sign the BoP disarmament deal.

1. ADP Disappoints: U.S. Businesses Add Just 44,000 Jobs In July - Breitbart
ADP Research said that private payrolls rose by 44,000 in July, missing estimates for 65,000 jobs. The prior month’s estimate was revised down slightly from 98,000 to 95,000.
The lower-than-expected payroll growth may not reflect a lower demand for labor but a lower supply of available workers. The report showed wage growth for workers who switched jobs picked up to the strongest pace in nearly a year, a sign that demand may be outstripping supply.
“Job-changers are highly sensitive to real-time economic conditions, and their rapid pay growth implies supply constraints in parts of the labor market. 2. Big money propels Dem megachurch pastor to victory in longshot Kansas Senate bid - Fox News
Kansas Democrats have made their choice in one of the most crowded primary battles in the nation and are backing a political newcomer with an eye-popping campaign war chest.
Adam Hamilton emerged victorious in an 11-way primary Tuesday night in the race to take on incumbent Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., who is running for a second term in the upper chamber.
And he has a line of attack against Hamilton already teed up.
History is on the side of Marshall, who previously served four years in the House before making the leap to the Senate in 2020. That’s because Kansas has not sent a Democrat to the Senate in nearly a century. The last time was in the 1930s, when Kansans elected former Sen. George McGill. 3. NJ’s Voter Rolls Scandal Is a Midterm Warning - Million Voices
New Jersey is at the center of a growing election integrity firestorm, and it could not come at a more critical time. With the midterms just months away, a stunning admission from Governor Mikie Sherrill has confirmed what conservatives have warned for years: noncitizens are getting onto voter rolls, and some of them are casting ballots.

This is not a fringe blog post or a stray tweet. It is an official platform update from an organization whose members now serve in Congress and in statehouses across the country. If enacted, it would tear down the three-branch system that has protected American liberty for nearly 250 years.

6. City Puts Price Tag on Preacher’s Free Speech - Million Voices
According to CBN News, Conwell regularly holds pro-life and Gospel-centered signs on public property near the city’s farmers market. He waits quietly and speaks only to people who approach him first. The lawsuit describes him plainly: he blocks no one, threatens no one, and sells nothing.
Despite that, a city council member facilitating the farmers market demanded Conwell purchase a $20 commercial vendor’s license simply to hold his signs. When he returned this July and refused to pay again, city officials responded with legal action rather than dialogue.
Details from Charisma Magazine explain the city’s stated justification. Officials told Conwell he had to either leave the public parking lot or pay the vendor fee because market organizers claimed “exclusive use” of that space during business hours. Stupidocrisy: History Didn't Start Yesterday

Pennsylvania Democrat Chris Rabb recently explained that he identifies as a democratic socialist because he is Black, pointing to his great-great-great-grandfather, Rev. Amos Noë Freeman, a Black abolitionist, as the inspiration for his politics. That is where history disconnects with Rabb's argument. The abolitionist movement found its political home largely in the Republican Party after its formation in 1854. Republicans were created with the central purpose of stopping the expansion of slavery, while Southern Democrats fought to preserve it. History strongly suggests Rabb’s ancestor would have been standing shoulder to shoulder with Republicans of his day, not defending the Democratic Party that opposed his cause.
History becomes even more uncomfortable after the war. Once slavery ended, many Southern Democrats worked to rebuild political control through Black Codes and later Jim Crow laws. Those laws suppressed Black voting rights, enforced segregation in schools, transportation, housing, restaurants, and nearly every aspect of public life for generations. That history was never hidden. It is documented in congressional records, court decisions, and countless history books. Democrats accusing election integrity laws of being "Jim Crow 2.0" require an extraordinary amount of historical amnesia. Jim Crow was a real system created to deny constitutional rights, and it lasted for nearly a century. Christian Mental Health Megacenter Pushes LGBT+ Agenda

A Christian mental health empire in Grand Rapids, Mich. promotes an LGBT+ agenda medically, socially, and politically. Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services claims to operate “from a Christian world-view,” despite its historical ties to a Christian denomination that still holds to biblical teachings on marriage and gender. Pine Rest says its mission is “to express the healing ministry of Jesus Christ,” but it clarifies that its version of the Christian worldview is “sensitive, inclusive, and without apology.”
Magnitude of Pine Rest
By any measure, Pine Rest ranks among the nation’s largest mental health groups. It claims to be “the second largest non-profit behavioral health provider in the U.S.,” according to its website. Its 2024 Annual Report (the most recent posted on its website) recorded annual operating revenue and expenses above $210 million, while it treated nearly 54,000 patients, including more than 7,000 children.
Separately, Philanthropy.org ranks Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services as the nation’s 13th-largest “mental-health nonprofit” by revenue and expenses reported on 990 forms — a slightly larger category with slightly updated data.
This sizable budget translates into a sizable footprint in Western Michigan. Google Maps shows Pine Rest hospital locations in both Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, as well as six geographically separate clinics in Grand Rapids and one each in Kalamazoo and Grand Haven. In March 2026, Pine Rest opened a 136,000-square-foot Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health, which cost $98 million and includes 66 inpatient beds.
Christian History of Pine Rest
Pine Rest dates back to 1910, when it was formed by pastors and laity of the Reformed Church in America and the Christian Reformed Church in America. While not officially affiliated with any denomination, the institution claims to “still reflect our faith-based heritage in all we do by providing professional behavioral health services that are rooted in Christian teaching and values.”
Pine Rest retains residual connections to the Reformed denominations through its donor base. For example, the David and Carol Van Andel Family Foundation donated $8 million towards the construction of a Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health. The Van Andel family made its fortune from Amway and has been involved with the Christian Reformed Church for generations.
In 2020, the Christian Reformed Church issued a Human Sexuality Report that grounded its framework for interpreting human sexuality in Jesus’s teaching in Matthew 19, which appealed to creation, the fall, and redemption in Christ. The report concluded that “biblical teaching concerning human sexuality … restricts sexual intercourse to the context of a marriage between husband and wife.” It further concluded that, while “some people experience a disconnect between their gender identity and their sex … there is no redemption in embracing this disconnect as a sign of God’s good intent.”
‘LGBTQ+ Affirming’ Health Care
Despite its background in this Christian tradition, Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services has adopted and advocated for a health care model that unquestioningly promotes LGBT lifestyles.
Using the “Find a Clinician” function on the Pine Rest website, The Washington Stand counted 25 providers listed under the treatment category “LGBTQ+ Affirming Care” (archived here). When TWS further specified “LGBTQ+ Affirming Care” as the treatment category and the patient’s age as “Child,” TWS counted seven providers in the Pine Rest system (archived here).
“Gender-affirming care” refers to a clinical strategy that never questions a person’s expressed internal feelings about their gender in counseling or treatment options. It usually involves providing the patient with cross-sex hormones and ultimately surgeries in a quest to validate their transgender feelings. In many cases, the rush to affirmation has caused health care providers to overlook other serious mental health factors, which were therefore left untreated. The alternative to “gender-affirming care” is “watchful waiting,” which postpones any drastic physical interventions like drugs or surgery to see whether a person’s expressed feelings persist unchanged. Lord God,
We humbly come in prayer on bended knee concerning this Christian mental health empire in Michigan that is promoting an LGBTQ agenda medically, socially and politically. Lord, this nation has once again failed You in allowing Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services to even continue to operate promoting things that are an abomination to You. Forgive us, Lord, for being complacent and not recognizing what is going on right before our eyes.
Father, Your Word says that not everyone who cries Lord, Lord is of You as it appears to be with the leaders of the Christian Reformed Church of America. Our hearts are grieved that Your Word is being changed to promote unrighteous behavior, and we pray for truth and discernment to hit the leaders who say they are rooted in Christian values but who teach the opposite lies. Please, Lord, give them a wake up call directly from You.
Lord, send Your Holy Spirit to penetrate the darkness that has come forth in Michigan so that the light of Your glory will come forth. May the leaders of the Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services come to repentance, fleeing the darkness and walking in the light of Christ. In the Mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen and Amen.

Almighty God,
We pray for the people of Spain today and for their protection as thousands of illegal working age immigrants have invaded their country from Morocco with anticipation of more to come.
Father, it is alleged that George and Alex Soros are at the root cause of this invasion, having bought off the judiciary systems to set in place laws that say that if migrants come by sea the police have no authority to stop them. Lord, we pray that You give the Spanish people wisdom about how to reverse their pro-immigration laws set in place by their Parliamentary system that does not give them a vote in this matter.
Lord, send Your warrior angels into this chaotic situation and give wisdom to the Spanish people about how to send these migrants back to their own country. Father, protect all nations whose judiciary systems have been compromised by the Soros family so that confusion and chaos will be brought to an end. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Dutch Sheets posted the story of General Patton’s call to his chief chaplain to write a prayer for good weather. The weather was so severe, it brought offensive operations to a grinding halt. Short story, the Chaplain wrote a prayer-the weather changed – Patton smashed through German lines on 12/26’1944. Patton gave Chaplain O’Neill the Bronze Start for such a successful prayer.

“Father, we acknowledge the role You have given the church in influencing earth’s affairs. We also acknowledge the partnership You intended between civil and spiritual authorities. It is biblical and imperative that we work together, producing synergy and releasing divine order on the earth, allowing for peace and security.
When You taught us to pray in Matthew 6, You told us to ask for deliverance from the evil one. Just as leaders and citizens appealed to You many times in WWII, we do so now, asking for deliverance from the evil one and his actions throughout Iran. Deliver the people of the Middle East from the principalities and powers that operate there; break their diabolical hold. Overthrow evil leaders. Iran's End-Times Theology Is More Dangerous Than Its Missiles

The West tends to explain wars in terms of military strength, economics, diplomacy, and political ambition. Those factors certainly matter. But when it comes to Iran, one critical element is often overlooked: theology.
For many in the Islamic Republic, history is not simply unfolding--it is moving toward a divinely ordained climax. The current conflict with the United States and Israel is viewed by some not merely as another Middle East war, but as part of the events that will usher in the return of Islam's long-awaited messianic figure: the Mahdi.
That belief is no longer confined to obscure religious circles. It has become intertwined with the ideology of the Islamic Republic itself, echoed by senior officials, promoted within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and increasingly amplified across the Muslim world through social media.
This matters because beliefs shape behavior. Nations do not simply fight with weapons; they fight with worldviews. And when leaders become convinced they are participating in a divine script, traditional assumptions about deterrence, compromise, and even survival begin to change.
A Theology That Shapes A Nation
Iran is the world's largest Shiite Islamic power, and its ruling establishment is deeply rooted in Twelver Shiite theology. Central to that belief is the expectation that the Twelfth Imam, Muhammad al-Mahdi, did not die but entered a state of hidden existence over a thousand years ago. One day, believers say, he will return to establish worldwide justice after a period of extraordinary chaos, bloodshed, and oppression.
Unlike many religious traditions where end-times prophecy remains largely academic, Mahdist expectation has become woven into the identity of Iran's revolutionary government.
Since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iranian leaders have repeatedly framed their struggle against the West as part of a larger spiritual battle.
