New Partnership Will Help More Women Find Abortion Alternatives
|
|
Cogency Strategic announced the formation of a new strategic partnership with Heartbeat International and the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), through which a nationwide series of public service announcements (PSAs) will inform women that life-affirming women’s health centers exist.
For the first time, these messages will point women directly to OptionLine.org, the 24/7 bilingual helpline connecting women to thousands of life-affirming women’s health centers across the United States. These national PSAs will reach women at the moment they need help, connecting them to local care and the hope many never knew was available.
This announcement comes at a pivotal cultural moment:
• Six out of ten women who had abortions say they would have chosen life if they had known support was available.
• Planned Parenthood facilities continue to close, marking a measurable decline in Big Abortion’s influence.
• Public perception of the abortion pill’s safety is dropping sharply.
• Women are increasingly open to life-affirming care – yet millions still don’t know real help exists.
“These PSAs allow us to bridge the gap instantly,” said Nelly Roach, CEO of Cogency Strategic. “Every time these PSAs air, a woman hears something she rarely hears today: ‘You have options. You’re not alone. Real support exists.’ With Option Line experiencing extraordinary expansion, including a 200 percent increase in connections to trained consultants and Option Line Plus nurses this year, we are grateful for this opportunity to partner to connect more women and men than ever before to this viable lifeline.” (Life News) Read More Here >

May You alone receive the GLORY in this coordinated effort to save precious lives in the womb! By the powerful Name and Blood of Jesus Christ we pray- Amen and Amen.

Brown University shooting manhunt resets with release of person of interest
|
|
The search for a gunman in the deadly Brown University shooting remains ongoing after officials in Providence, Rhode Island, announced late Sunday that a detained person of interest would be released from custody.
Police in Providence, Rhode Island, are going to businesses and homes to ask for video footage to help investigators track down the gunman who killed two students and wounded nine others at Brown University, Providence Mayor Bret Smiley said Monday.
Smile advised the community that police have an “enhanced presence” in the city’s neighborhoods in the wake of the shooting.
He also reiterated officials’ calls for tips from the public.
The public can submit tips to police by calling (401) 272-3121 or via the FBI’s tipline.
|
|
|
The second victim killed in the Brown University campus shooting has been identified as Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov.
“I am heartbroken to learn that Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov — who just graduated from Midlothian High School — is among the victims of the horrific act of violence at Brown University,” Virginia Governor-elect Abigail Spanger wrote on X. “Adam and I are praying for his family and all those impacted by this tragedy.”
Umurzokov’s family wrote in a GoFundMe post that he “had big dreams of becoming a neurosurgeon and helping people.”
“He always lent a helping hand to anyone in need without hesitation, and was the most kind-hearted person our family knew,” the post read. “Our family is incredibly devastated by this loss.”
The New York Times reported that Umurzokov and his family are naturalized citizens from Uzbekistan now living in Virginia.
Gov. Glenn Youngkin offered condolences for Umurzokov and the other student killed, Ella Cook, in a post on X.
“We are praying for the victims of the horrendous act of evil at Brown University: Ella Cook from Birmingham, Alabama, and Midlothian High School’s own Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov,” the governor wrote. “We lift up their families, friends and communities in a prayer of comfort and peace.” (Fox News) Read more here.

Lord God, we take a stand against the violence that’s going on in our country right now. We know we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers and dark rulers from the other realm influencing these things to happen. So we decree and declare this violence must cease, in Jesus' name. We speak peace over our country and over the holiday season that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We pray your hand on this investigation, and the perpetrator would be found quickly, in Jesus' name.
We also stand alongside Carol Howell and the intercessors in Rhode Island,
agreeing with their own prayers for their state! AMEN!
“He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.” (Mark 4:22)

Australia terror attack: 16 dead, including gunman, after father-son duo opens fire on Jewish community
|
|
Police say a father and son were behind the horrifying mass shooting that left 16 people dead, including one of the gunmen, and 40 people hospitalized during a Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia.
New South Wales Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon said during a press conference on Monday in Australia that it was a 50-year-old man and his 24-year-old son that carried out the terror attack.
The father is dead, police said, and the son is in critical but stable condition in a hospital. Lanyon also said they are not looking for additional suspects at this time.
The father was a licensed gun owner with six legally registered firearms. All six of the firearms have been recovered, with some being recovered at the scene. The others were located and recovered when investigators executed search warrants at two separate locations, police said.
The commissioner told reporters Monday afternoon that the father met the eligibility criteria for a hunting license used for recreational hunting.
Still unidentified, the father was issued a Category A/B firearms license, which allowed him to possess the long firearms he registered.
Lanyon told police the warrants were executed at a property in Campsie and another property in Bonnyrigg. He added that their residential address was in Bonnyrigg, though they were staying in Campsie.
The commissioner also told reporters the father had held a gun license for 10 years.
"There was very little knowledge of either of these men by the authorities," Lanyon said. "The person was determined to be entitled to have a firearms license and…the person had a firearms license for a number of years for which there were no incidents."
Two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were also found at the scene of one of the homes where search warrants were executed. The IEDs were taken into possession by a rescue and bomb disposal unit and found to be active. They were then rendered safe by police. (Fox News) Read more here.

Lord God we cover Australia in the blood of Jesus. We cover all those who are suffering that you would send supernatural help. We come against all anti-semitism, division, and confusion and break its powers now in Jesus' name. Give the leaders in Australia who are now dealing with this tragedy wisdom and courage to do what’s right for the Jewish community and for their country, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Clinton-appointed judge once again sabotages DOJ's Comey case
|
|
|
Government seeks higher court intervention before Monday deadline
|
|
After more than eight years of Democrat lawfare against President Trump, his aides and his allies, the Justice Department under Attorney General Pam Bondi is bringing much-needed accountability — which is what American voters demanded in our last presidential election. But Democrat activist judges are doing what they do best: weaponization and sabotage.
In South Carolina, Clinton-appointed Judge Cameron Currie — handpicked by a Biden-appointed judge — wrongly disqualified Eastern District of Virginia U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan, the bold and fearless prosecutor who had secured an indictment against former FBI Director James Comey for lying and obstruction of a Senate investigation into his politicization, weaponization, and corruption of the intel agencies and law enforcement to go after political enemies and protect political allies. The government is appealing that decision to the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Now, another Clinton-appointed judge in the District of Columbia, Colleen Kollarr-Kotelly, has interfered even more egregiously with the government’s case. This ruling threatens the separation of powers essential to the Republic, and either the D.C. Circuit or Supreme Court must intervene immediately.
Comey was indicted on two charges: making false statements to Congress and obstruction of Congress. The indictment stemmed from the events surrounding Operation Crossfire Hurricane, more colloquially known as the Russiagate hoax. Comey used his longtime friend, Columbia Law Professor Daniel Richman, as a conduit to leak material unfavorable to President Trump to media outlets. In addition to being a law professor, Richman was a government contractor. He and Comey communicated frequently via email on government and private accounts. Communications on a government email account enjoy no reasonable expectation of privacy — the standard under the Fourth Amendment as a result of Justice Harlan’s concurrence in Katz v. United States (1967) — because the government can monitor its own email servers.
Shockingly, Kollar-Kotelly granted the motion and has ordered the FBI to destroy the emails by 4 p.m. on Monday. Kollar-Kotelly’s ruling ordered the destruction of emails obtained pursuant to a warrant signed by another (Obama) judge six years ago. She claims that the seized information relates to a new investigation; however, she is basing this assertion on a decision by Eastern District of Virginia U.S. Magistrate Judge William Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick issued a suppression-like decision even though suppression was not briefed by the parties — yet another example of blatant and unlawful judicial sabotage by partisans in robes. (Fox News) Read more here.
|
|
- Father God, by the time we are able to publish this alarming news, the deadline regarding the destruction of these vital emails will have passed. We ask for a miracle of divine intervention in this case, as our times are in YOUR hands -- not the courts. Let justice be served we pray, amen!
"Our times are in Your Hands." (Psalm 31:15)

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell announces run for Minnesota governor: 'I'm still standing'
|
|
|
MyPillow founder and CEO Mike Lindell announced his candidacy for Minnesota's 2026 gubernatorial race Thursday, throwing his hat into the race against former Democratic vice presidential nominee, Gov. Tim Walz, who is running for his third consecutive four-year term.
"After prayerful consideration and hearing from so many of you across our great state, I've made the decision to enter the 2026 gubernatorial race," the 64-year-old Lindell posted on social media. "I'm still standing and I'll stand for you."
Lindell also announced his candidacy in a speech from his MyPillow factory in Shakopee, Minnesota, which was streamed live on his media network, LindellTV.
According to his campaign website, Lindell's policy goals include stopping fraud, deporting illegal immigrants, fixing failing public schools, ratcheting back "exploding property taxes" and securing elections.
"Minnesota deserves a governor who will stand against all fraud, and will go after anyone who steals our tax dollars. No one is above the law," his website says, which comes in the wake of a New York Times report that exposed a $1 billion alleged fraud scandal in Minnesota's social services, primarily among the state's Somali community.
Lindell told the Minnesota Star-Tribune that he considers himself to be the frontrunner in the crowded race, which includes Minnesota House Speaker Lisa Demuth, 2022 gubernatorial nominee Scott Jensen, Minnesota state Rep. Kristin Robbins, Minneapolis defense attorney Chris Madel and businessman Kendall Qualls vying for the GOP nomination. (Christian Post) Read more here.

|
Lord we pray over Mike Lindell, if he were to get elected, that he would be a righteous leader and would be a blessing to all those who live in Minnesota. We pray, Lord, that Mike Lindell, and all candidates running for any area of leadership in the government would reject their own agenda, and their own way for Your way, to lead people to the light and restore our nation, in Jesus' name, amen.
“If anyone wants to be My follower, he must give up himself and his own desires. He must take up his cross and follow Me.” (Mark 8:34)

FBI arrests 4 alleged members of radical pro-Palestinian group accused of plotting New Year’s Eve bombings
|
|

Individuals self-identified as members of the Turtle Island Liberation Front
|
|
|
Federal authorities say they disrupted a credible terrorist threat over the weekend, arresting four alleged members of a radical pro-Palestinian extremist group accused of planning coordinated New Year’s Eve bombings in Los Angeles.
The FBI told Fox News Digital that the members self-identified as part of a radical offshoot of the Turtle Island Liberation Front (TILF), an extremist group motivated by pro-Palestinian, anti-law-enforcement, and anti-government ideology.
According to the FBI, they were allegedly planning coordinated bombing attacks on New Year’s Eve using improvised explosive devices, targeting five separate locations across Los Angeles.
The agency said the four were arrested in Lucerne Valley, where they were believed to be preparing to test explosive devices ahead of the planned attacks. They have each been charged with conspiracy and possession of a destructive device.
The FBI said Monday that a fifth individual believed to be connected to the same TILF extremist group was arrested in New Orleans for allegedly planning a separate attack.
A TILF Instagram account said its founding chapter is in Los Angeles, and its goal is to free "Turtle Island," an Indigenous name used to refer to North America, from the "illegal American empire."
"Free Palestine. Free Hawaii. Free Puerto Rico," the account posted. "Freeing the world from American imperialism is the only way to a safe and peaceful future," it continued.
Attorney General Pam Bondi posted on X that the Department of Justice worked with the FBI to prevent the alleged terror plot in the Central District of California.
She said TILF was also planning to target United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and vehicles.
"This was an incredible effort by our U.S. Attorneys’ Offices and the FBI to ensure Americans can live in peace," Bondi wrote. "We will continue to pursue these terror groups and bring them to justice." (Fox News) Read more here

Thank you, Lord, that this plot was uncovered and taken care of. We continue to plead the blood of Jesus over our nation, that any other plots and schemes and plans by the enemy would be canceled, in Jesus' name. We break all fear off of our nation and the citizens of our nation! We decree that our people will be at peace and able to enjoy the holidays. Amen.
"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

1. In Jerusalem, Netanyahu, US special envoy Barrack discuss regional matters
- JNS
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met in his Jerusalem office on Monday with Tom Barrack, U.S. ambassador to Turkey and special envoy to Syria.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, others included in the talks were Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar; Gil Reich, acting head of the National Security Council; military secretary Maj. Gen. Roman Gofman; Mike Huckabee, U.S. ambassador to Israel; and Yechiel Leiter, Israel’s ambassador to the United States.
Barrack’s visit comes in the backdrop of a terror attack in Syria on Saturday, in which a “lone ISIS gunman” ambushed, shot and killed two U.S. service members and a civilian, according to the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).
The two soldiers were confirmed on Monday to be part of the Iowa National Guard, deployed as part of an antiterrorism mission. (Read more)

2. ICC keeps Netanyahu, Gallant warrants in force after Israeli appeal fails
- Israel National News
Appeals judges at the International Criminal Court (ICC) on Monday rejected one in a series of legal challenges brought by Israel against the court's probe into its conduct of the Gaza war, Reuters reported.
The judges refused to overturn an earlier decision allowing the prosecution’s investigation into alleged crimes under its jurisdiction to include events following Hamas’s deadly assault on Israel on October 7, 2023.
The ruling means the investigation will continue, and the arrest warrants issued last year for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant remain in effect.
In response, Israel’s Foreign Ministry said: “Israel rejects the ICC Appeals Chamber’s decision, by a narrow majority, to deny Israel’s right to receive advance notice, as demanded by the principle of complementarity particularly with regard to a democratic state with an independent and robust judicial system.” (Read more)

4. 'The hunt has begun': Iran-linked hackers put bounties for info on Israeli air defense developers - Jerusalem Post
An Iran-linked hacker group has put a bounty for information on over a dozen Israelis it claims are developers of Patriot, Arrow, and David's Sling air defense systems, as part of a continued project threatening and doxing Israeli academics, journalists, and defense personnel.
The Handala hacker group on Saturday offered a $30,000 bounty on information on Israeli engineers and technicians, listing their photos, names, credentials, email addresses, locations, and phone numbers. The Jerusalem Post is yet to verify if all the doxxed information is correct. However, it has been spread widely on Arab media and Telegram, including by Hamas.
The profiles on the Israelis often included personal messages, with one target being warned that his children would not be safe.
"You thought your family - the wife - three children - were safe," the hacker group wrote on its target database website. "Don't forget about those three children.” (Read more)

1. World Vision distributes toys to children in Jamaica impacted by Hurricane Melissa - Christian Post
World Vision is distributing toys to children in Jamaica whose lives have been affected by Hurricane Melissa, as the long road to recovery on the hard-hit island nation continues.
The Evangelical charity organization is distributing toys to children in the five western parishes of Jamaica that were severely affected by Hurricane Melissa earlier this year.
In an interview with The Christian Post, which took place after a distribution in Chester Castle in Hanover Parish on Thursday, where the charitable organization Operation Blessing also helped out, World Vision’s Director of U.S. Programs, Reed Slattery, spoke about their relief efforts and discussed the situation on the ground six weeks after the hurricane made landfall in Jamaica.
“So we had Squish Mallows for the little kids … so that every time they open it up out of the box, they just give it a big hug and squeeze,” he explained. “We had some Lego sets for the older kids. Then we had Puma shoes that the kids were also able to pick out, so they got a brand new pair of shoes, and then we topped it off with a backpack full of school supplies.” (Christian Post.com) Read more here.

2. One million households without power in Ukraine after Russia attacks energy grid - BBC
More than a million households are without electricity in Ukraine after a barrage of overnight Russian strikes hit energy and industrial infrastructure, officials said.
Ukraine's internal affairs minister, Ihor Klymenko, said five regions were hit and at least five people were injured, and work was under way to extinguish fires and restore supplies.
While Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure have been common throughout the war, Moscow has intensified strikes as the country heads into winter.
It comes as US President Donald Trump's overseas envoy will travel to Germany this weekend to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European leaders for more talks on ending the war. Steve Witkoff, who has been leading White House attempts to mediate between Ukraine and Russia, will discuss the latest version of the proposed peace agreement in Berlin.
On Saturday, Zelensky said more than 450 drones and 30 missiles were used by Russia in overnight strikes. Klymenko said the Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa and Chernihiv regions were hit. Russia's defence ministry said it used weapons including Kinzhal hypersonic missiles in the strikes - which are hard to track as they can change direction mid-flight. (Read more)

3. Tourists to US would have to reveal five years of social media activity under new Trump plan - The Guardian
Tourists to the United States would have to reveal their social media activity from the last five years, under new Trump administration plans.
The mandatory new disclosures would apply to the 42 countries whose nationals are currently permitted to enter the US without a visa, including longtime US allies Britain, France, Australia, Germany and Japan.
In a notice published on Tuesday, the US Customs and Border Protection agency (CBP) said it would also require any telephone numbers used by visitors over the same period, and any email addresses used in the last decade, as well as face, fingerprint, DNA and iris biometrics. It would also ask for the names, addresses, birthdates and birthplaces of family members, including children.
CBP said the new changes to the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (Esta) application were required in order to comply with an executive order issued by Donald Trump on the first day of his new term. In it, the US president called for restrictions to ensure visitors to the US “do not bear hostile attitudes toward its citizens, culture, government, institutions, or founding principles”. 4. National Trust files lawsuit to stop Trump's ballroom construction - USA Today
The National Trust for Historic Preservation filed a lawsuit on Dec. 12 aimed at blocking the construction of President Donald Trump's new White House ballroom, alleging it is unlawful and asking the court to halt further construction until the plans go through a legally-mandated review process.
The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, names Trump, the National Parks Service and several other administration officials involved in a fast-expanding project that already included the demolition of the East Wing and prompted the ire of preservationists and former first ladies including Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama.
"No president is legally allowed to tear down portions of the White House without any review whatsoever—not President Trump, not President Biden, and not anyone else," the lawsuit says. "And no president is legally allowed to construct a ballroom on public property without giving the public the opportunity to weigh in." (Read more)

5. Israel says no to UN resolution demanding it work with UNRWA - JNS.org
Israel on Friday rejected a resolution adopted by the U.N. General Assembly earlier in the day calling on the Jewish state to cooperate with the U.N.’s relief agency for Palestinians, on the grounds that the organization has become a “subsidiary” of Hamas.
The U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) is a “hotbed of terrorism,” Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon tweeted.
Israel “will not forget the crimes against humanity committed by UNRWA workers on October 7th. We will not forget that an UNRWA ‘social worker’ kidnapped Yonatan Samerano’s lifeless body to Gaza. For the sake of peace in the world, UNRWA must go,” the ambassador wrote.

6. US Aims for International Gaza Force Deployment Early Next Year, Say US Officials - The Algemeiner
International troops could be deployed in the Gaza Strip as early as next month to form a UN-authorized stabilization force, two US officials told Reuters, but it remains unclear how Palestinian terrorist group Hamas will be disarmed.
The officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the International Stabilization Force (ISF) would not fight Hamas. They said lots of countries had expressed interest in contributing and US officials are currently working out the size of the ISF, composition, housing, training, and rules of engagement.
An American two-star general is being considered to lead the ISF but no decisions have been made, the officials said.
Deployment of the force is a key part of the next phase of US President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace plan. Under the first phase, a fragile ceasefire in the two-year war began on Oct. 10 and Hamas has released hostages and Israel has freed detained Palestinians.
“There is a lot of quiet planning that’s going on behind the scenes right now for phase two of the peace deal,” White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt told reporters on Thursday. “We want to ensure an enduring and lasting peace.” (Read more)

Faith Forged in A Pit
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, December 15, 2025
Vayeshev (And He Dwelt), Genesis 37:1-40:23 focuses on Joseph, the son whose life will set the stage for an entire nation. Joseph receives the famous tunic from his father, shares dreams that hint at a future rise, and sparks jealousy among his brothers. Their resentment leads them to sell him into slavery in Egypt while telling Jacob that his beloved son is dead. Jacob’s grief is bottomless. Meanwhile, in Egypt, Joseph rises in Potiphar’s household, only to be thrown into prison after false accusations from Potiphar’s wife. Even there Joseph is elevated, interpreting the dreams of Pharaoh’s baker and cupbearer, which come to pass, though he remains confined for a time.
When we read Torah narratives, we’re reminded that these stories look forward as much as backward. They’re not simply ancient history but prophetic markers for future generations. Joseph’s life stands out as a master class in endurance and faith. He moves from favored son to slave overnight, with every reason to fold under bitterness. Instead, he works faithfully, earning trust in places where others would have given up. His journey shows that our circumstances don’t define who we are, but rather how we respond, especially when the bottom falls out. Joseph held fast to what he knew of God’s character, the stories of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and the dreams that hinted at something greater than the injustice in front of him. Read More

Exclusive – Marsha Blackburn Defends Seizure of Venezuelan Oil Tanker: ‘We’re Enforcing Sanctions’
|
|
|
Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) defended the seizure of a Venezuelan oil tanker, contending that President Donald Trump is totally within his right on this and that the United States is simply enforcing sanctions.
During an episode of Breitbart News Daily, host Mike Slater asked the gubernatorial hopeful about the seizure of the Venezuelan oil tanker, given the left’s reaction.
“[It was] led by another one of your constituents, our Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth,” Slater said. “You okay with this? …The left is calling it this shocking escalation, or are we just enforcing sanctions that we’ve had since 2015?”
“Yeah – we’re enforcing sanctions” the Tennessee senator responded. “The president is within his right on this, and it is imperative that we enforce these sanctions. You look at what has happened in Venezuela. When you look at the way sanctions were not important, not enforced on China, on Russia, and Donald Trump is saying, ‘No, the sanctions are there. That is the law. We will enforce it.'”
She said the left has no right to be upset over it, but they are essentially used to the Biden administration, which ignored the law.
“I will say, under Joe Biden’s term as president, they worked overtime trying to make illegal legal and circumvent U.S. law, and now you have Donald Trump who says, ‘No, the law is the law. We’re going to enforce it.’ And all of a sudden they’re very upset,” she pointed out. (Breitbart) Read more here.

Lord, we praise You that the Trump administration is enforcing the sanctions placed on evil rogue nations like Venezuela. We ask that these actions be preserved against all who attempt to create problems for the administration.

Trump Admin Secures Release Of 123 Political Prisoners, Including American Citizens, From Belarus
|
|
|
Belarus freed 123 political prisoners, including 2022 Nobel Peace Prize winner Ales Bialiatski and a number of American citizens, after the U.S. agreed to lift some trade sanctions on the Russian proxy state, The New York Times reported.
The release of the prisoners came after John Coale, President Donald Trump’s special envoy for Belarus, met Friday and Saturday with Belarus’s autocratic president, Aleksandr G. Lukashenko, at his palace in Minsk, The New York Times reported. A catalyst for the diplomatic breakthrough was the U.S. government’s agreeing to remove sanctions on potash, according to BBC News. Potash is an important ingredient used for fertilizer and also a key export for the Russia-aligned Belarus, according to the outlet. (Daily Caller) Read more here.

Supreme Court Won’t Hear Appeal of Christian Baker Who Declined to Make a Same-Sex Wedding Cake
|
|
|
|
The U.S. Supreme Court declined to take up the case of a Christian baker in California who was prosecuted for declining to bake a wedding cake for a same-sex marriage celebration.
The nation’s highest court turned away the petition without comment in an unsigned order in Miller v. Civil Rights Department on Dec. 8. No justices dissented.
The ruling came after Christian professionals who object on religious grounds to providing services related to same-sex marriage have won victories at the U.S. Supreme Court on First Amendment grounds in recent years.
In 2023, in 303 Creative LLC v. Elenis, the court ruled Colorado couldn’t force a Christian website designer to create websites to celebrate same-sex weddings. In 2018, in Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission, the court ruled Colorado couldn’t compel a Christian baker to make a custom cake to celebrate a same-sex union.
In the case at hand, the petitioner, Catharine Miller, is the sole owner of Cathy’s Creations Inc., which operates a small bakery in Bakersfield, California, called Tastries Bakery, where she designs and produces custom wedding cakes. Miller opposes same-sex marriage on religious grounds.
After Miller started the bakery in 2013, she started to receive requests for custom projects that “were not in line with” her faith. Among those requests were “gory” cakes, “marijuana” cakes, “adult” cakes, and cookies depicting genitalia, as well as a cake announcing a divorce that a husband was planning to surprise his then-wife with. Miller declined the requests, according to the petition her attorneys filed. (The Epoch TImes) Read more here.

Righteous Father,
We grieve over this decision given by the Supreme Court to not hear Cathy’s case. Lord, this precious baker has been treated so unfairly simply because she would not bake a wedding cake for same sex marriages because it goes against her faith in You and Your Word. Father, we ask that you vindicate her and make a way where there seems to be no way for this decision to be reversed! Forgive all the Supreme Court Justices and speak to them as they sleep and let them have a change of heart.Give wisdom to her attorneys as to what she is to do now. In Jesus' name. Amen.
“Let my vindication come from you; may your eyes see what is right. Though you probe my heart, though you examine me at night and test me, you will find I have planned no evil, my mouth has not transgressed.“ (Psalm 17: 2-3)

Pineapple Express to bring new surge of major flooding amid ongoing Pacific Northwest recovery
|
|
|
Following a very wet pattern last week, AccuWeather meteorologists warn that additional rain in the Northwest this week that will heighten the risk of widespread flooding.
Back-to-back atmospheric rivers have doused the Pacific Northwest as of late, resulting in flash flooding, damaging mudslides and major river flooding. Some locations have already picked up over a month’s worth of rainfall within just a few days amid the active weather setup.
Although the region caught a brief break from the intense storminess this past weekend, conditions won't stay quiet for long. Another round of storms, including a specific type of atmospheric river known as the Pineapple Express, will affect the region for at least the first part of this week.
Pineapple Express to douse the Pacific Northwest into Wednesday
This conveyor belt of moisture originates near the Hawaiian Islands, which is how it earns its name, and will transport a relatively warm, humid stream of air toward the northwestern United States and will be capable of producing intense and long-lasting rainfall. Depending on how long these conditions persist, these events can deliver exceptionally high rainfall totals.
This particular event, which began on Sunday night, will intensify on Monday and continue through Wednesday morning, although there will be additional chances of rain and high-elevation snow later this week.
Rounds of rainfall will be funneled into western Washington and Oregon, as well as northwestern California into Wednesday. In the typically colder spots, rain can mix with snow at times, particularly overnight. (Accuweather) Read More
