Meet Hero Who Tackled, Stopped Alleged Terrorist in Australia
|
|
A brave man who risked his life to stop one of the gunmen who attacked a Hanukkah event at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, is receiving international praise. Australian media identified the man as Ahmed al-Ahmad, 43, after video showed al-Ahmad sneaking up on one of the two shooters as he was shooting at people, tackling him, and taking the gun away, Fox News reported. Footage shows the hero, who reportedly owns a local fruit stand and was visiting a friend when the deadly attack unfolded, then turning the gun on the assailant, though he reportedly didn’t fire it.
New South Wales Premier Chris Minns called al-Ahmad a “genuine hero” and others agree. “That man is a genuine hero,” Minns said. “And I’ve got no doubt that there are many, many people alive tonight as a result of his bravery.” Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese also heaped praise on people like al-Ahmad who stepped out and helped in such a powerful way. He thanked these “everyday Australians who, without hesitating, put themselves in danger in order to keep their fellow Australians safe.” Albanese thanked brave individuals like al-Ahmad for saving lives. Al-Ahmad, a Muslim, was reportedly shot in the shoulder and hand during the heroic act as the second shooter targeted him during his moment of bravery, according to The New York Post. Abba we are saddened with this tragedy yet PRAISE You for many lives saved by a man who courageously confronted the gunmen. Lord, we need You now, more than ever! Father, bring healing and restoration to families of individuals who lost their lives. We ask Your complete recovery for Ahmed al-Ahmad, who was shot in the process of trying to stop the bloodshed. We pray for holy JUSTICE to spring forth for ALL Jewish people and for Your mighty Hand to be revealed through this circumstance. We give You praise for the bravery shown that ended the shooting and declare in Jesus Name that believers around the world will stand in righteous anger and in unity for the safety of every Jewish brother and sister around the world! Hawley Pro-Life Initiative Reportedly Sparks White House Anger

A Republican senator’s new pro-life initiative is generating blowback within President Donald Trump’s administration, according to a new report. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) and his wife Erin, a constitutional attorney affiliated with Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), announced last week that they are launching a new political action committee (PAC) to promote pro-life measures across the U.S.
The new PAC, called the Love Life Initiative, is intended “to be a voice, strong voice, advocating for life, and not just in the narrow political sense … but also advocating culturally,” Hawley explained in an Axios interview. On Monday morning, however, Axios reported that Trump administration officials are “furious” over the Hawleys’ PAC. Axios cited an unnamed “close Trump advisor” saying, “Clearly, Senator Hawley and his political team learned nothing from the 2022 elections, when the SCOTUS abortion ruling [overturning Roe v. Wade] resuscitated the Democrats in the midterms.” Another unnamed advisor was quoted saying that economic issues “alone will be the driving force behind the next election.” The unnamed advisor added, “Picking a fight on an issue like abortion in a midterm is the height of asinine stupidity.”
In early 2024, as he was campaigning to reclaim the White House, Trump distanced himself from the abortion issue, classifying it as a states’ right issue after the three justices he placed on the U.S. Supreme Court during his first term joined Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas in overturning Roe. Then-Senators J.D. Vance (now Trump’s vice president) and Marco Rubio (now Trump’s secretary of State) followed Trump’s lead and dismissed calls to protect the unborn at the federal level. The Trump-Vance ticket later led the way in slashing the Republican Party’s longstanding commitment to advancing pro-life principles from the GOP’s 2024 platform and ruled out endorsing pro-life legislation at the federal level. Hawley, meanwhile, was one of the few Republicans who bucked the trend and continued to champion pro-life principles after Trump’s shift on the issue.(Washington Stand) Read more here.

We pray for the people of this nation to stand strong and loud in defense of unborn lives, in Jesus's name. 'Bombshell': Biden officials knew Mar-a-Lago raid against Trump was illegal, but did it anyway
|

Under Joe Biden's administration, the FBI staged a SWAT-style raid on President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago home in Florida.
Now a report is revealing his administration was told there was no basis for probable cause, meaning the raid was illegal and they knew it. And they did it anyway.
Now Congress is expected to act on the knowledge of that politicization and weaponization by Biden of the federal government against his political foe. A report at Just the News explains Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel have documents and are giving them to Congress. They include "bombshell emails showing the FBI warned that the Biden Justice Department did not have probable cause to raid President Donald Trump's home at Mar-a-Lago, but prosecutors proceeded anyway," the report said. Holy King, here is more evidence of lawbreaking committed by the previous administration against President Trump. We thank You for once again exposing and revealing everything necessary to see justice enforced in this matter. Unfortunately, it seems there are some powerful forces at work against this administration (or within) who are able to deflect and evade the law and justice. So, we ask You to grant Your intercessors the wisdom and strategies to pray effectively according to Your will, to see Your righteousness extended upon this matter, in Jesus's mighty name.

Spilling the beans: Government memo exposes real reason massive Somali fraud not investigated

Minnesota and its officials have been under fire in recent weeks after a City-Journal investigation revealed bluntly: "Billions in taxpayer dollars have been stolen during the administration of Governor Tim Walz alone. Democratic state officials, overseeing one of the most generous welfare regimes in the country, are asleep at the switch. And the media, duty-bound by progressive pieties, refuse to connect the dots."
Now we know why the Democrat governor and the Democrats in power in the state didn't stop it: They feared offending a "core voting bloc," the Somalian immigrant community that was perpetrating the fraud.
Evidence shows so far that just one of the frauds was the many child-care facilities set up by the community, and their subsequent claims to have distributed many, many more daycare services or meals than they actually did, inflating their government checks.
Estimates that the schemes cost Minnesota taxpayers at least a billion dollars, much of which was sent by the Somali community back to Somalia, where it found its way into the checkbooks of al-Shabaab terrorists. (WND) Read more here.

Lord of All Creation, we know that our nation was ordained by You and covenanted with You from our founding, so we make a demand on these agreements and call for the USA to be restored to its Godly roots and founding, in Jesus's name. As John Adams stated, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people." Allowing false and idolatrous religions to stand in the place of Godly people and our Constitution has opened the doors for this obvious corruption that must be addressed. Brown University shooting person of interest spotted in new images

Authorities have released new images of a person of interest in the deadly shooting that happened at Brown University on Saturday. Police in Providence, Rhode Island, are leading manhunt to track down the gunman, with assistance from the FBI.
Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha added that while there are cameras inside the building, there was a major addition to the building within the last five years and the older section did not have many, if any cameras.
"The building is on the edge of the Brown campus," Neronha said. "Where the shooting took place is at the edge of that building, and then you're very quickly into a residential neighborhood."
"There is no footage that depicts this individual that would be useful in identifying him, that we have not released you," he continued. "I think you can tell from, frankly, the not very helpful quality of the initial footage, that our standard is pretty low. If we thought it was at all helpful, we would have and will release it."
The Providence Police Department, which has come under fire as the manhunt for the Brown University gunman drags into its third day, is continuing to lead the fatal shooting investigation with assistance from FBI Boston, despite calls for federal authorities to take over.
Though officials previously confirmed the FBI and ATF are assisting with the investigation, the case falls under local jurisdiction since there are no confirmed suspects in custody and no indictable federal crimes have been identified.
Providence Police Chief Col. Oscar Perez Jr. announced during a news conference Tuesday the person of interest in the fatal Brown University mass shooting was "casing out" the area prior to the tragedy.
Video showed the person of interest in the neighborhood at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday, nearly six hours before the shooting.
"We also know in this profession there are many criminals who case out an area weeks and days prior," Perez said. “It's important for us to ensure that we can have you look at that and help us."
"Our officers [and] our agents are looking at terabytes of data, and we're looking for a moment that is shorter than somebody taking a breath," he added. "It's incredibly hard work to do that, and so we're asking the public to assist us with that." (Fox News)

Prime Minister Netanyahu and his wife Sara, placed a note between the stones of the Western Wall for the success of the IDF soldiers and security forces. Mrs. Netanyahu expressed her wishes for the return of the fallen hostage, a hero of Israel, Ran Gvili, of blessed memory.

2. Israeli Officials Sound Alarm on Heightened Threat of Kidnappings, Terror Attacks at Home and Abroad - Algemeiner
Israeli officials are warning of a heightened threat of kidnappings and terrorist attacks targeting Israelis at home and abroad, particularly during Hanukkah, following the deadly massacre at Sydney’s Bondi Beach.
During a closed Security Cabinet meeting last week, the head of Israel’s Shin Bet domestic intelligence service, Maj. Gen. (res.) David Zini, warned of an elevated risk of kidnappings targeting Israelis amid mounting tensions and growing hostility at home and abroad, the Israeli news outlet Ynet reported on Tuesday.
“The threat of kidnappings has not declined — it has intensified and will continue to intensify, as a result of the compromises made to secure the hostages’ release,” Zini reportedly told government officials, referring to the thousands of Palestinian prisoners and detainees, including many convicted terrorists serving life sentences, released under the US-backed ceasefire agreement to halt fighting in Gaza. Mid-level officials from 32 countries attended the meeting, where they discussed key elements of the force's potential deployment, including command structure, rules of engagement, locations within Gaza, and the force’s role in disarming Hamas.

4. IDF finds weapons, surveillance gear during raids along truce line in Rafah - JNS
Israel Defense Forces soldiers found weapons and Hamas surveillance equipment during raids along the ceasefire line in Gaza’s eastern Rafah area, the military announced on Monday.
According to the IDF, the Golani Brigade seized weapons, including AK-47 rifles and rocket-propelled grenades, as well as cameras used by Hamas to monitor Israeli military activity in the southern Strip.
The soldiers also dismantled several terrorist infrastructure sites and eliminated dozens of terrorists who were operating in tunnels and posed an immediate danger to them, according to the statement. (Read more)

5. Netanyahu trial hearing cut short after PM brings Paraguay parliament speaker to court - Times of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arranged a meeting with the president of Paraguay’s Chamber of Deputies, Raúl Latorre, at the Tel Aviv District Court on Monday, after the judges in his trial had on Sunday refused his request to cancel the day’s hearing.
Netanyahu had bitterly complained to the judges at the beginning of Monday’s hearing in his criminal trial about their decision to hear his testimony from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. He told the judges he would be meeting Latorre at the courthouse, and that he then had to leave to prepare for another meeting at 12:30 p.m. with the US Ambassador to Turkey and special envoy to Syria Tom Barrack.
Although the judges initially told him their decision was final, following further comments by Netanyahu in court after the hearing started that he had to leave by 10:30 a.m., and after a brief consultation between the judges and the defense and prosecution attorneys, the judges then agreed to end the hearing at 10:20 a.m, Hebrew media reported. 1. The Johnson Amendment: Rest in peace?
Just prior to Thanksgiving, arguments were heard in a Texas federal courtroom on a legal case that will, in all probability, have far-reaching ramifications on how churches and people of faith engage in future public political debate in American life.
The legal shorthand title of this volatile and important case is National Religious Broadcasters v. Long. The full title is:
In effect, this case represents an agreement between the Internal Revenue Service and the National Religious Broadcasters Association (representing thousands of pastors and religious broadcasters) that the Johnson Amendment unconstitutionally proscribes Americans' constitutional First Amendment freedoms of speech and religion.
What is the “Johnson Amendment?” It was language added to the tax code in 1954 while Senator Lyndon Johnson was Senate Majority Leader. Senator Johnson was in the midst of a really ugly re-election campaign in which a prominent fundamentalist preacher was stridently attacking Johnson.
The Johnson Amendment forbids all tax-exempt organizations, like churches and charities, from “directly or indirectly” engaging in politics, specifically by endorsing or opposing candidates. Ever since then, the Johnson Amendment has been used to try to intimidate churches and religious organizations from endorsing candidates by threatening their tax-exempt status. 2. Why The President Has The Constitutional Authority To Appoint Acting US Attorneys - The Gateway Pundit
In recent weeks, we have observed a slate of highly qualified US Attorney candidates, such as Alina Habba in New Jersey and Julianna Murray in Delaware, be effectively stomped by federal judges who have taken it upon themselves to override presidential authority by obstructing the constitutional appointment process.
These judges have taken the Federal Vacancies Reform Act (FVRA), which was passed during the Clinton administration, and used it to impose broad-sweeping and legally dubious restrictions on the tenures for acting political appointments for critical officeholders.

Father, we pray for the levels and layers of our government to stand in righteousness according to the laws of the land and the Constitution. It seems so many local judges in particular have taken it upon themselves to speak with more authority than the President or Supreme Court and we call that to a full stop, under the blood of Jesus. We call for the Spirit of the Living God to reveal and expose what is right and true and just, in Jesus's name.

3. Massive Hindu Idol to Be Raised in US State, Taller Than Statue of Liberty - IFA Pray
(CBN) – A massive 155-foot statue of a Hindu god is being built in North Carolina, and the project is already underway. The world’s tallest statue of “Murugan” is being planned in Moncure in Chatham County, NC, the Indian Eagle reports.
The “warrior god” will be at the center of the Carolina Murugan Temple Campus, which will be on 130 acres of residential land.
During the first phase of building, the main temple, three gopurams (entrances to a Hindu temple), and a road surrounding the campus will be completed and will cost around three to five million dollars, the outlet notes. By the project’s completion, the statue will be taller than the Statue of Liberty, which is about 151 feet when not including the pedestal.

The illegal immigrant, Oscar Gerardo Solorzano-Garcia, boarded the Charlotte light rail on Dec. 5, consumed a large quantity of an alcoholic drink known as Beatbox, and began yelling indiscriminately before he stabbed another passenger in the chest with an "extremely large fixed-blade knife," according to documents charging him with attempted first-degree murder. Days later, the FBI revealed Solorzano-Garcia should have never been in the United States after having been convicted of robbery in 2012, arrested for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon in 2016, deported from the country in 2018, and deported again in 2021 after being convicted of illegal reentry. Jesus, we cry out for repentance in Charlotte, NC and ask that the government would acknowledge the wickedness happening in their state and turn to You instead. We thank You Father for exposing an unrighteous pattern setting up in NC and we stand against every effort to permit a stronghold of evil in this land, in Jesus's name. We plead the blood of Jesus over the believers there and pray for them to just burst forth with the fire, the love and the righteousness of heaven upon their state and that every bit of darkness from the top down is exposed and burned with the fire of God, in Jesus's holy name.

President Donald Trump will give an address to the nation live from the White House on Wednesday night, he announced on Tuesday.
Trump teased the address in a statement on social media, saying the speech will take place at 9 p.m. ET on Wednesday. He has not clarified a topic for the address.
"My Fellow Americans: I will be giving an ADDRESS TO THE NATION tomorrow night, LIVE FROM THE WHITE HOUSE, at 9 P.M. EST. I look forward to 'seeing' you then. It has been a great year for our Country, and THE BEST IS YET TO COME!" Trump wrote.

Ex-Psychic’s Dire Warning About ‘Wicked’ Movie

Jenn Nizza, an ex-psychic who now runs a ministry urging people to flee the occult, is warning that “witchcraft is real” and is encouraging people not to watch “Wicked: For Good,” the new sequel to the wildly popular film “Wicked.”
Nizza, host of the “Ex-Psychic Saved Podcast,” told parents the movie “has a witchcraft influence” and is “romanticizing” the issue.
“This is very concerning to me, especially the indoctrination of the demonic targeting the youth,” she said. “This is my Christian perspective on this.”
Nizza has widely documented her decades in the occult, working as a psychic and medium before encountering Christ at the age of 37. She said that experience has forced her to pause when it comes to projects like “Wicked.”

Holy One, we pray for the body of Christ to read and listen to the admonition about the movie culture that is seducing children. We pray for a deeper understanding of the spiritual battle raging around us and that the body of Christ would learn how to stand against it, to protect the innocent and vulnerable, in Jesus name. We bind the darkness and loose the goodness of God in the airwaves and pray for the presence of God and the blood of Jesus to guard the hearts and minds of those being lured by the darkness, in Jesus's name. Before families can make informed decisions, the facts must be stated accurately. A dose is not a jab, and public trust hinges on understanding that difference. The memo’s call to reassess early-childhood vaccination and the side effects underscores how important clarity is necessary.
Much confusion stems from the widely cited claim that children receive “72 shots.” That number counts every recommended dose from birth through age 18, including annual flu and COVID shots, and does not represent early childhood. In reality, children receive 19 to 27 actual injections before age six, depending on whether combination vaccines or optional immunizations are used. These jabs cover roughly fourteen diseases, including Hepatitis B, Polio, Hib, Pneumococcal disease, MMR, Varicella, and Hepatitis A. Evacuations from Seattle-area levee breaches during parade of atmospheric rivers

After a levee breach was successfully repaired near Seattle, evacuations were lifted, but another evacuation took place Tuesday morning.
A levee breach in a suburb of Seattle prompted officials to issue emergency evacuations Monday for businesses and residents in the area in the area near the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
The evacuation warning was issued at 11:51 a.m. PST in Tukwila, Washington, and canceled around 5:30 p.m. Monday. Traffic backed up on local highways as around 500 people tried to evacuate the area. Crews used sandbags to temporarily plug the breach until a long-term fix can be put in place.
"The levee was breached and caused flooding behind Rainier Industries," King County Executive Girmay Zahilay said, adding that no one was injured.
Drone video by the King County Sheriff’s Office shows a breach in the Desimone Levee, a key line of defense against flooding for more than 30,000 people.
In the video, crews are using heavy equipment as water from the Green River creeps dangerously close to nearby buildings.
At 7:30 p.m., the evacuation notice was lifted after the Desimone Levee was repaired, but the area remains in a "Get Set Advisory" Tuesday morning, meaning that residents should not let their guard down.
