Direct Descendant of Muhammad Now Follows Jesus:
'The Way, The Truth and The Life'

A descendant of Muhammad, who was an imam and evangelist for Islam, went from attempting to commit suicide to finding new faith and hope in Jesus Christ. Thomas Samuel's life reached a crisis point when the former Imam started to doubt his Islamic faith, leading to deep emotional turmoil and eventually multiple suicide attempts. "I decided to take my own life, and that was a tragedy," Samuel told CBN News' Radical Revelations podcast.
However, these attempts were not the end for Samuel. He called out to God, and everything changed. "I took some pills that narrow the blood vessels, and I thought that I am dying, and I started to talk to God for the first time. I told Him I am dying, so do something…save me," Samuel explained. God answered Samuel's cry and spared his life. Still, Samuel questioned whether he had simply failed at his attempt or if God had answered his prayer. "And I woke up like nothing has happened," Samuel testified. "My question was, is it the dose? Was it not enough, or the prayer worked?" he explained. Samuel decided to test his question and made another attempt at his life. Samuel confirmed, it was "definitely not the dose, but the prayer."
That night, Samuel prayed, went to sleep and had a life-altering dream that kick-started his faith in Jesus. "I saw that I am running in a very long road in my dreams. I saw a very long road – a lot of tree branches full of thorns chasing me. And, at the end of the road, there is a man standing in front of me. I called him and said, 'please help me,'" Samuel described. "I don't know who He is, so He extended His hand, put it on my shoulder, and brought me before Him." Although Samuel did not know the man, the man knew Samuel. That man was Jesus and He called Samuel to follow Him. "I found out that this is Jesus. I have no clue why, but it was just recognition in the dream that this is Jesus. And He looked deep in my eyes and He said, 'It is your time to follow Me,'" Samuel continued. DC Medical Examiner Says Graham Died of Aortic Dissection - Here's What That Actually Means

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham died on Saturday evening in Washington after almost a quarter of a century representing South Carolina in the Senate.
According to a preliminary examination of the 71-year-old, he died of what was described as “Aortic Dissection due to Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease.”
Fox News reporter Bill Melugin told his X followers on Sunday afternoon that he had obtained a statement from the D.C. Medical Examiner’s Office.
“The death certificate will be PENDING until all the toxicological and microscopic testing are finalized and at that point the death certificate will be updated to reflect the cause of death and appropriately classify the manner of death,” the medical examiner’s office said.
Melugin added of the initial culprit of Graham’s sudden passing, “In layman’s terms, this means a tear in the aorta caused by hardening & narrowing of arteries as a result of underlying cardiovascular disease.”

The Mayo Clinic also lays out how the condition can become fatal, and who is most likely to experience the medical emergency.
“Aortic dissection isn’t very common,” the Mayo Clinic says on its website.
The clinic adds, “It usually happens in men in their 60s and 70s. Symptoms of aortic dissection may seem like those of other health conditions. This often leads to delays in diagnosis. Early diagnosis and fast treatment of aortic dissection greatly improve the chance of survival.”
The best ways to avoid suffering such a condition are to stabilize blood pressure, keep blood sugar and cholesterol under control, and to exercise regularly.

God of All Comfort, we pray for Your comfort for the family of Lindsey Graham as well as the family of Congress that knew and loved him. This nation and the world have lost a bold and courageous fighter for good and he will be missed. We see this report about a tear in his aorta which led to a very quick passing, so we pray for the Medical Examiner's office to be able to make a clear determination if there was or was not any type of poisoning that influenced this tragedy. We will continue to pray for protection over our President, all those on Iran's "hit list" and everyone who is standing up for righteousness in our nation, in Jesus's name.
"So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. Trump Shakes Up Election Commission Dragging Its Feet on Non-Citizen Voting,
Citing SCOTUS’s Slaughter Decision

President Donald Trump confirmed Friday he has shaken up federal election commission membership after it dragged its feet on addressing non-citizen voting ahead of the approaching midterms.
AP reports the executive action against members of the Election Assistance Commission, which distributes federal grants to states, oversees the testing of voting systems and maintains the national voter registration forms.
The presidential intervention came after a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling delivered the president new personnel authority to fire members of independent agency boards via the Trump v. Slaughter case.
“The President, and head of the Executive Branch, reserves the right to remove individuals that may not be totally aligned with the important task of securing America’s elections and ensuring every legal vote is counted. The Slaughter decision gives the President precedence to do so,” said a White House statement to AP.
The president removed the commission’s two Democratic members, Thomas Hicks and Benjamin Hovland.

Scope of SPLC's deeply embedded influence training teachers nationwide uncovered in sweeping report

A new report is shining a spotlight on the Southern Poverty Law Center's influence in American colleges, revealing its educational materials are being used to train future K-12 teachers in 38 states as Congress and federal investigators intensify their focus on the organization.
According to a report from Defending Education, an education watchdog group that the SPLC once labeled an "extremist" group, researchers examined 100 colleges of education and uncovered SPLC's Learning for Justice, formerly Teaching Tolerance, and the group's Social Justice Standards embedded into teacher preparation programs nationwide.
The report said the organization's Social Justice Standards are incorporated into teacher preparation programs that include "Equity, Access, and Anti-bias Education," "Teaching for Social Justice," "Critical Consciousness" and "Socially Just Teachers."
Researchers found the materials in required education courses, teacher candidate handbooks, student teacher evaluations, lesson planning assignments, departmental frameworks and professional development for educators. (Fox News) Read more here.

Sen. Lee: Honor Lindsey Graham by Passing the SAVE America Act

Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah is leading the call to honor Sen. Lindsey Graham by passing the SAVE America Act.
Graham died Saturday evening at the age of 71 shortly after discussing the voting integrity bill with President Donald Trump.
“This is something Lindsey Graham spent a lot of time with,” Lee told Maria Bartiromo on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” program, “One of the best ways we could honor Lindsey Graham’s legacy would be to take this up and pass it this month.”
The bill, which would require proof of citizenship to register to vote and voter ID to cast a ballot, was top of mind for Graham in their final conversation just prior to his death, according to Trump, who called the senator a “strong advocate” for the bill.
Lindsey Graham called President Trump last night—in what might well have been his final phone call—to discuss the SAVE America Act.
The president told “Meet the Press” on Sunday that Graham had phoned him early Saturday evening after arriving home from a trip to Ukraine.
“He called and he said, ‘We’re all set on the SAVE America Act’. He was pushing the SAVE America Act like crazy.”
Graham admitted he was tired, then repeated his desire to pass the Act. “And I said, ‘We’re going to get it done, Lindsey. We’re going to get it done. I’ll see you soon.’” The pair even talked about meeting up today. “And then that was it.”

Democratic Socialists Come Clean about Their True Intentions: ‘Overthrowing’ the U.S. Government

The government of the United States may soon be headed toward territory it has not encountered since the Civil War: having sitting members of Congress who openly defy the Constitution and express the desire to overthrow America’s constitutional republic in favor of a government based on socialist and communist principles.
This possibility has become much more likely as the true intentions of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) become increasingly laid bare. With the recent primary victories of DSA members Darializa Avila Chevalier and Claire Valdez of New York and Melat Kiros of Colorado, there is a distinct possibility that November’s election will see all three become members of Congress, as each of their congressional districts is deeply blue.
As documented by City Journal last month, a curious phenomenon within the DSA has been occurring in recent months. One would expect that the radical positions of the party would begin to moderate as more and more democratic socialists win public office, including the mayoral victories of Zohran Mamdani in New York, Katie Wilson in Seattle, and the virtually assured victory of Janeese Lewis George in the District of Columbia in November. Instead, the official platform of the DSA is radicalizing even more.
During the party’s National Political Committee (NPC) last month, the DSA revised its platform to call for the abolition of the office of the President and the Supreme Court to be replaced by “an executive and judiciary chosen by and subordinate to Congress,” the abolition of police and prisons, giving ownership of corporations to the public, giving universal amnesty to illegal immigrants, and even “explicitly naming Jerusalem as the capital of a Palestinian state.”
As The Washington Stand has previously reported, DSA candidates like Darializa Avila Chevalier combine virulent anti-Semitic views with demanding that all property from landlords be seized and to “literally abolish the border.” Chevalier was also co-founder of an anti-Israel campus group that declared it was “fighting for the total eradication of Western civilization.”
A recent video compilation of DSA party leaders describing the ultimate goals of the party makes it quite clear that the party indeed has ambitions to topple the United States government.

1. At Dimona reactor: Netanyahu’s not-so-subtle warning to Tehran

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a direct and forceful warning to Iran’s leadership Tuesday during a speech at the Negev Conference in Dimona, declaring that any future Iranian attack on Israel would be met with a response of an entirely different magnitude than anything seen before.
Addressing Tehran directly, Netanyahu said:
“We are prepared for every scenario. I can tell you one thing, and I’ll say it to Iran’s leaders: don’t count on things staying quiet if you attack us. Don’t count on a rerun. Because this will not be a rerun, and the last one was powerful enough. This will be a different broadcast, far more powerful. The days are over when someone hits us and we don’t hit back twice as hard. We did that to the axis of evil in Iran, and we will keep doing it to anyone who attacks us. That’s how we operate.”
During the speech, Netanyahu surprised the audience with a thinly veiled disclosure, one instantly recognizable to any Israeli, that he had visited the Negev Nuclear Research Center in Dimona earlier that day, a facility long referred to in coded terms by Israeli politicians and security officials as the “textile factory.” (Read more)

2. Israel, Lebanon begin US-brokered talks in Rome - JNS
Israeli and Lebanese delegations began U.S.-mediated talks in Rome on Tuesday aimed at advancing the implementation of a framework agreement to end months of fighting in the border area with the Iran-backed Hezbollah terror group.
The discussions are taking place at the U.S. Embassy in the Italian capital through Wednesday, and follow the deal reached in Washington on June 26 during the fifth round of negotiations between representatives of Beirut and Jerusalem.
Arrangements for a potential Israeli withdrawal from Southern Lebanon and the deployment of Lebanese forces will be on the table, in accordance with the agreement, Reuters reported, citing officials familiar with the talks.
The 14-point Israel-Lebanon Trilateral Framework Agreement also calls for the disarmament of Hezbollah, and Jerusalem has emphasized that an Israeli withdrawal will occur only once the threat from the Iranian terror proxy is removed. (Read more)

3. 'I can no longer stand by,' Deputy FM resigns after ultra-orthodox draft evasion bill passes Knesset - i24 News
The law to freeze the arrests of deserters was approved Tuesday at the end of a heated debate in the Knesset plenum. A majority of 59 MKs voting in favor of the bill, compared to 54 who voted against. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who arrived at the plenum before the vote on the law, was met with cries of "Shame" from opposition members, and as a result, left the plenum hall and did not vote.
During the discussion, calls were also heard among coalition MKs, who criticized Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana: "It is irresponsible to leave Limor Son Har-Melech to chair such a discussion. Ohana should have taken the seat himself, especially when the Prime Minister is present."
With the approval of the law, the Yesh Atid and Yisrael Beiteinu parties petitioned the High Court of Justice against it. The petition stated: "This is the crowning achievement of the Knesset and the government after four years in office, three years after the events of October 7: deepening discrimination between citizens, applying one standard to secular, traditional, and religious citizens subject to military service, and another to ultra-Orthodox citizens." 4. Netanyahu planning Washington visit next week following recent call with Trump

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is planning to visit the United States in the coming days and is expected to arrive in Washington early next week, according to reports published by several Israeli media outlets on Tuesday evening.
The reports follow an announcement by the Prime Minister's Office two weeks ago Friday, which stated that Netanyahu spoke with US President Donald Trump on the occasion of America's 250th Independence Day, and that the two leaders agreed to meet in the US in the near future.
Earlier on Tuesday, Axios reported that Trump told Netanyahu during a phone call on Thursday that Israel should begin redeploying its forces from Syria and encouraged him to do the same in Lebanon. (Read more)

5. Saar Slams Kallas Over ‘Obsessive Campaign Against Israel’ After EU Trade Sanctions Fail - Algemeiner
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar has accused European Union foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas of pursuing an “obsessive campaign against Israel” after the bloc failed on Monday to reach agreement on proposed trade sanctions targeting Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria — territory the EU refers to as the “West Bank” — in what Jerusalem described as the latest attempt to pressure and isolate the Jewish state on the international stage.
Saar denounced Kallas — who has served as EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy since Dec. 2024 — for attempting to “find a new way to circumvent the rules” after the EU diplomat referred the proposed sanctions measure to the Committee of Permanent Representatives (COREPER), seeking to revive a proposal that has repeatedly failed to gain sufficient support among member states.
“There was no consensus. There was no qualified majority. In fact, there was no majority at all,” Saar wrote in a post on X. (Read more)

1. Court Allows Maine to Discriminate against Christian Schools for Biblical Standards on Gender, Sexuality- Real Life Network
In a setback for religious freedom, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit ruled last Thursday that Christian schools in Maine must comply with pro-LGBT regulations that conflict with their religious beliefs, if they want to participate in a public tuition assistance program. “Essentially what the court has said is that you can believe what you want to believe, you can talk about what you believe, but once you exercise what you believe, that’s conduct that the state of Maine can regulate,” said Jeremy Dys, senior counsel for First Liberty Institute, which brought the lawsuit.
In Crosspoint Church v. Makin, a two-judge panel (one judge died before the opinion was issued) partially upheld a lower court order denying a preliminary injunction against Maine’s pro-LGBT regulations. Crosspoint Church runs Bangor Christian School (BCS). The court decided a second lawsuit featuring a Catholic school (St. Dominic Academy v. Makin) on the same day, on almost identical grounds.
BCS holds employees and students to basic biblical standards for gender and sexuality, and requires teachers to ascribe to a statement of faith. But those standards run afoul of provisions in the Maine Human Rights Act (MHRA), which Maine now applies to schools seeking to participate in its tuition assistance program. “A private school that participates in the tuition-assistance program and then violates the MHRA exposes itself to civil suits from both the Maine Human Rights Commission (MHRC) and private alleged victims, with remedies including injunctive relief and monetary damages,” the court described.
Specifically, the MHRA “‘Religious Nondiscrimination Rule’ bars covered schools from discriminating in admissions, financial aid, academics, and the like on the basis of religion,” as the court described, and its “‘Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Nondiscrimination Rule’ bars discrimination in all the same activities on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity but exempts religious schools that do not receive public funding.”
In practice, this rule would have the effect of preventing BCS’s attempts to enforce its biblical norms of sexuality and gender, Dys told The Washington Stand. For instance, if a male student identified as transgender and wished to use the female restrooms and locker rooms, BCS could not enforce its policies against him without violating the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Nondiscrimination Rule. “When the state of Maine presents this sort of regulation on conduct, it creates a real problem,” he said.
Yet the court concluded the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Nondiscrimination Rule “works no constitutional violation.” It also held that “certain of BCS’s policies” violated the Religious Nondiscrimination Rule, including “church member discounts” and “consideration of ‘prospective students’ spiritual fit.’” (Read more)

Lord, once again a court is attempting to interfere with Your Word and the heartfelt religious beliefs of Your people. Maine lost in a previous Supreme Court case over this issue, but they amended their law to once again allow such discrimination. We pray that the Supreme Court of the United States will take up this case, and that Your power will prevail over the ruling.
“So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11)

2. Dems Fight Trump’s Push to Secure Mail-In Ballots- The Washington Stand
After a year-long redistricting blitz, Republicans have moved on to phase two of their election strategy: securing Americans’ ballots. After the Supreme Court delivered a surprising blow to the GOP in June, allowing mail-in votes to be counted almost a week after Election Day, there’s an understandable concern that the upcoming midterms will be ripe for fraud. While conservatives are making a desperate push for the SAVE America Act to address some of that panic, that’s not the only play in the Right’s book.
President Trump, frustrated by the tight margins in the House and Senate that are bogging down these bills, has gotten creative with the problems plaguing our elections — issuing several executive orders and rules that would close the loopholes Democrats are using to undermine legitimate voters. Of course, the courts have put the brakes on some of the White House’s ideas, including one very interesting plan to involve the U.S. Postal Service (USPS).
Piggybacking on a March 31 EO, the administration instructed the USPS to oversee and streamline the states’ mail-in ballots, putting it in charge of “standardiz[ing] envelope design for mailed ballots” and helping states use “a unique barcode to track ballots, thus significantly reducing the chain-of-custody problem” that makes it easier to cheat. “The rule would also create, for the first time, a standardized, nationwide auditing mechanism for mail-in voting,” Alabama’s attorney general’s office points out.
Part of Trump’s order also required state governments to provide their voter rolls to the federal government. “This provision will help determine adherence to federal law and facilitate law enforcement efforts,” USPS noted. “For example, the provided lists will evidence how many ballots have been mailed, and allow law enforcement officials to compare the total number of mailed ballots to the total number of received ballots to detect potential issues meriting further investigation.” If a blue state refused to comply, it wouldn’t have access to mail-in ballots.
A federal judge in Washington claimed that the order would give the federal government too much control over elections and put the order on ice. That infuriated several state attorneys general, who argue that mail-in voting has compromised election results and destroyed trust. Led by Alabama’s Steve Marshall, 13 of those AGs rallied behind the rule in a letter that emphasizes the USPS’s role in protecting ballots across the country. (Read more)

3. JD Vance Launches H-1B Visa Program Fraud Investigation - Breitbart
Vice President JD Vance launched a broad agency investigation of the expanding H-1B visa program on Tuesday, confronting a scheme that has pushed millions of American graduates out of jobs, homes, and careers since the 1990s.
“I’m proud to announce that the federal Department of Labor has started dozens of subpoenas and investigations into foreign fraudsters who are trying to take advantage of the H-1B visa program,” Vance told an audience in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He added:
Here’s a simple principle, ladies and gentlemen: American jobs ought to go to American workers and not foreign fraudsters, and the Department of Labor is fighting back against it.
Vance and the Department of Labor portrayed their view of the visa program as an anti-abuse measure, not a criticism of the H-1B program that keeps at least 800,000 non-immigrant foreign contract workers in jobs that would otherwise be held by American graduates.
“The door is opening a little bit, and now we have to force it open further with massive action,” responded Kevin Lynn, founder of U.S. Tech Workers, a lobby group for the many American professionals who are being sidelined by the federal government’s H-1B, J-1, F-and 1/OPT, and L-1 visa program for U.S. employers. 4. Trump Administration Launches Anti-Predator K-12 Initiative - PJMedia
The Trump-McMahon Department of Education (ED) has launched a new initiative to crack down on the serious problem of sexual predators in America’s public schools.
ED’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) on July 10 launched the K-12 project and explained why in a press release. “The Trump Administration has observed a troubling and recurring pattern in schools across the nation of credible reports of sexual abuse and harassment by adults in positions of authority going uninvestigated or of suspected offenders being transferred to new schools or roles in the district,” ED stated.
In fact, to give an example from just one major city, in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), with its United Teachers LA union, the internal policy is to reassign teachers or administrators facing accusations regarding sexual misconduct. That includes everything from sexual harassment to child pornography to distributing sex videos to minors to actively sleeping with minors. Over approximately the last year, LAUSD has had to borrow $750 million to settle sexual misconduct cases, just to give context on how many cases they have and how they keep perpetuating the problem. God knows how many children and teenagers have suffered abuse from serial offenders because L.A. education officials refuse to do anything but move predators from one school to the next.

Praise God for this initiative meant to protect children from sick and broken adults who are so determined to violate children, our most vulnerable human beings. It is high time we protected the children and their well-being instead of protecting the disgusting agenda of people being used by the evil one. We pray Father for this initiative to have teeth in it in order to level firm consequences against all those culpable in allowing predators to harm children in the school systems, in Jesus's name. May there also be healing for those who have been injured and Holy One, we ask You to show Yourself strong on behalf of the children, in Your mighty name.

The United States has escalated airstrikes in Iran, after the IRGC's attacks on vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
In a recent report by Tousi TV, the Islamic Republic's army in Iran has abandoned their bases as they feared strikes by the US military.
Tousi also reported on the people of Iran (those who are against the Islamic Regime) and their reaction to the sad news of Senator Lindsey Graham's sudden death over the weekend:
"Earlier (Sunday) we reported the death of Senator Lindsey Graham. The news traveled fast to Iran, despite media restrictions. ... People in Iran are reacting today. Father, this is such a precious callout from the people of Iran who knew how Lindsey Graham was standing for their freedom and future. We pray for new, strong voices to take his place and run farther on behalf of freedom in other nations, in Jesus's name. We also pray for Your spirit to intervene on the IRGC and that the fire of God would run through their camps. We pray for victory for the people of Persia / Iran that they may stand strong in the power of God and bring the tyranny to its knees before a holy God, in Jesus's name.

Rashida Tlaib, a Democrat from Michigan in the U.S. House, is known for her violence-themed, offensive and often obscene rants about the nation in which she lives.
It was too much for Hollywood's Justine Bateman of "Family Ties" fame, who also has directed and produced projects, and won awards, and has authored several books.
She said:
These people are ridiculous. They have lost all tethers to a sense of self. Their entire identity now relies on this treasonous hate of America. They make up fantasies of how horrible America never was to justify their need to "fight tyranny." They have no identity but this. And they cling to it with a death grip, because they have nothing else. None of it is true. Not the fantasy about America about which she is shrieking, not her identity of believing herself to be some "hero" in a movie about an oppressive government, and not the resulting Congress-free, Senate-free, President-free, childish (and completely chaotic) future she sees for this country. Her disgusting convulsions of venom against America have no business being tolerated in the halls of our highest government. We pray for other influencers like Justine Bateman to grab the microphone and declare that communism/islam and hatred has no place in our great nation. We pray for safety for her and her message. We also lift up those who continue to push such unrighteous division, in Jesus's name we pray for their salvation..

Political announcements often sound final, but what is said publicly and what can actually happen are often two different things. Presidents speak to allies, adversaries, markets, voters, and media all at once. A single sentence can reassure one nation, pressure another, and stir the domestic pot before the machinery of government ever moves. That is why discernment matters. The splash is usually louder than the substance. As 1 Samuel 16:7 says, “For man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” In politics, we would do well to look past the headline and examine the process, especially when it comes to so-called allies that cavort with interests detrimental to America’s defense.
A good example is President Trump’s announcement that the United States will lift sanctions on Turkey and consider selling F-35 fighter jets to Ankara. The statement pleased Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and stirred concern among others, including members of Congress and Israeli leaders. Turkey was sanctioned under CAATSA after buying Russia’s S-400 missile defense system. That purchase led to Turkey’s removal from the F-35 program because US officials feared Russian technology could collect sensitive information about the stealth aircraft. Ancient gold ring unearthed at grave carries 2,000-year-old secret message

Archaeologists recently uncovered two gold rings at an ancient burial site in Thailand — one of them engraved with an intriguing message that dates back 2,000 years.
The rings were found at the Don Yai Thong archaeological site in the Phetchaburi Province in late June, The Associated Press reported.
Thailand's Fine Arts Department said the rings were buried alongside human bones.
Located in western Thailand, Don Yai Thong is about 80 miles southwest of Bangkok and was only recently identified as an archaeological site.
Residents found fragments of ancient bronze drums in a rice field earlier this year, prompting archaeologists to excavate the site.
A picture of one ring shows a short inscription etched into its oval face, which experts believe is written in the ancient Indian Brahmi script.
Experts believe the script reads "pusarakhitasa," meaning "the one protected by Pushya." (Fox News) Read More
