Turkish Ex-Muslim Reveals Why so Many Are Turning to Jesus: 'It's Like that Saul-to-Paul Moment'

A former Muslim has turned to Christianity after comparing the lives of Muhammad and Jesus Christ for himself.
Enes Ovat, born into a strict Turkish Muslim family in Australia, wholeheartedly believed what he was taught about the Muslim faith and its version of Jesus, but eventually he sought to make his faith his own.
"I didn't know much about Jesus. I mean, I would see Him on TV shows, movies on the cross and I thought to myself, 'What does that mean? Someone on the cross?'" Ovat shared with CBN News. "Although we viewed Him as a prophet, I never really understood the mission."
"The Muslims say that the Bible is corrupt and all these sort of things. So I just thought it wasn't something to be trusted – that Jesus' words can't be trusted, and simply, yeah, just a religion that white people followed that kept changing it and they just truly did it to continue to sin because someone died for you," Ovat explained. "So, I just thought it was a religion for the weak, perhaps, you can say. So that was my view on Christianity."
This seemingly iron-clad belief began to crack when he decided to critically examine Muhammad's life and compare it to Jesus Christ for himself.
"It more so started with doubting Islam, so really looking to the life of Muhammad and really understanding, is this truly the prophet for all time? I mean Muhammad had 11 wives at one point and one of them being a child, right? And this is someone that 1.9 billion people follow. And if we want to take him as a role model, I mean, we have to ask the questions of Muhammad's actions and what he did. And do we really want to emulate him and everything that he done?" Ovat questioned. "So, after questioning that and seeing the faultiness of Muhammad, I started to look into Jesus and how highly the Quran speaks of Jesus. He is the Messiah; He's going to come back to judge. He's the word of God. He has all these titles, so I started to think, 'what is it about Jesus that's so special?'" (CBN)

Lord God,
Your word says that in the latter days that You will pour out Your spirit on all flesh. We rejoice with heaven that this young man, Ovat, has now seen the truth and he is no longer trapped in the lies and bondage of Mohammed and Islam. Thank You, Lord, for putting that seed of doubt in him through the internet that made him question the teachings of Islam that he grew up believing. As he began to study the teachings of Jesus the Messiah, the cross, the love and the fruits that come from Him and the judgments of those who do not know him,You allowed him to experience a Saul to Paul moment bringing him out of darkness into the glorious light of Christ. We shout,"hallelujah!"
Father, we pray that the excitement that Ovat feels from his transformation will bring many Muslims into the truth of the reality of the wickedness of Islam. We pray that his testimony will set many free as he continues to now preach the good news of a Savior who loves them. Whom the Lord sets free, IS FREE INDEED!

Trump releases declassified election intelligence, says it reveals 'shocking vulnerabilities'

President Donald Trump addressed the nation Thursday evening on "free and fair" elections, announcing the declassification of critical intelligence that reveals, as he said, "shocking vulnerabilities" related to "hacking, exploitation and foreign interference."
"This vital information is for many years been covered up and hidden from you," Trump said. "The American people are beautiful, our great American people. But that all changes right now."
Trump did not claim China changed votes or altered election results. Instead, he argued Beijing engaged in an influence campaign aimed at shaping U.S. public perceptions.
Documents were posted to the White House website during the president's speech.
The speech came as his administration has aggressively pushed policies, legislation and executive orders to secure U.S. elections.
"The documents we will release starting tonight have been gathered by the White House Government Transparency Taskforce, a great group of people, along with the staff of the President's Intelligence Advisory Board, supported by our top intelligence agency chiefs, who have all personally reviewed the findings we are presenting this evening and fully confirmed their authenticity," Trump said Thursday.
Leading up to the address, Trump teased that his speech would be "big news." Trump touted his new Trump Accounts and spoke about how his administration has lowered drug prices, reduced crime and strengthened the border — with the main focus on securing American elections.
Trump said the disclosures underscore its push for stricter election security measures and renewed calls for Congress to pass the SAVE America Act, while critics have disputed many of Trump's claims about the 2020 election and widespread voter fraud.
Vice President JD Vance, FBI Director Kash Patel, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin were among the White House officials seated in the East Room. (Fox News) Read more

Lord God,
We pray that the American people would take seriously the President's warning last night. The very fibre of our nation rests upon having accurate elections in each election cycle. Anything less will weaken our strength.
We ask that every citizen would take action TODAY and call their own senators and representatives to INSIST that the SAVE
AMERICA Act be passed NOW.
We also thank You that huge amounts of "hidden data" have now been revealed, confirming the fraud that has been perpetrated in days past. We ask that the full weight of the law would now rest upon these criminals, bringing each one to
justice.
We ask this in Your name, Holy One, amen and amen!

Netanyahu cancels planned US visit after Trump meeting fails to materialize

Prime Minister Netanyahu has canceled his planned trip to the United States next week, with diplomatic sources indicating that the decision was driven by more than scheduling considerations.
The Prime Minister's Office said the postponement was due to changes surrounding the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham. However, information obtained by i24NEWS indicates that the scheduling issue was only part of the reason behind the decision.
According to sources familiar with the matter, intensive efforts were made in recent days to arrange a meeting between Netanyahu and US President Trump during the visit.
Those efforts ultimately failed, with no date finalized for a meeting and no preliminary understandings reached regarding its agenda or expected outcomes, preparatory steps that are typically completed before a summit between national leaders. (i24news) Read more here.

After US Reimposes Hormuz Blockage, IRGC Threatens to Halt All Energy Exports

We're going to hit them very hard’ - Trump threatens to expand strikes on Iran, target energy infrastructure
The U.S. military reimposed a blockade on Iranian traffic through the Strait of Hormuz at midnight, provoking retaliatory attacks by the regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps militia against American assets in neighboring countries.
At the same time, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) conducted strikes in Iran for the fourth consecutive day, striking targets around the Strait of Hormuz and along Iran’s coastal region.
According to CENTCOM, the strikes targeted “Iranian missile and drone sites, naval capabilities, and coastal defense systems” over a 7-hour period, as the American forces seek to degrade Iran's ability to threaten commercial shipping and civilian crews traversing the critical waterway.
“Over the past seven days, Iran has intentionally targeted civilians across the region by attacking seven commercial ships, resulting in nearly a dozen civilian crew members killed, missing, or injured. Iranian forces have also launched dozens of missiles and drones toward neighboring Gulf countries,” CENTCOM commander Admiral Brad Cooper said in a statement. “U.S. forces are holding Iran accountable for unwarranted aggression that continues to endanger innocent lives.”

Abba, the world needs Your help! We are asking You to intervene in the war between Iran and the US. Holy Spirit, we ask You to speak to the hearts of those in the Iranian leadership, let their hearts be softened instead of hardened against what the US is asking of them, let them see the foolishness in continuing to push back against it, it will lead only to further harm for their people. Trump Follows Through on Threat With New Round of Iran Strikes, Warns Tehran That "Next Week Comes the Power Plants and the Bridges"

A new round of strikes was launched by U.S. forces against Iran late Tuesday night American time, just after President Donald Trump announced in an interview that the regime would be hit “very hard” in the coming days and weeks if it did not come back to the negotiating table.
According to a statement by U.S. Central Command, the new round of strikes hit “dozens of military targets near the Strait of Hormuz and Iranian coastal areas.”
“U.S. fighter aircraft, drones, and naval vessels launched precision munitions against Iranian missile and drone sites, naval capabilities, and coastal defense systems during the seven-hour wave to further degrade Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping and civilian crews,” the statement from CENTCOM said, adding that the latest attacks “took place the same day U.S. forces resumed the naval blockade against vessels transiting to or from Iranian ports and coastal areas.”
“U.S. forces remain vigilant, lethal, and prepared to execute operations directed by the Commander in Chief,” the statement added, along with an unclassified video of the strikes. Read more (JNS News)

Bipartisan House Bill Calling for UNRWA to be Permanently Dismantled, Replace "Long Overdue", Experts say

“This is not a case of a few bad apples,” Yoni Tobin, senior policy analyst at JINSA, told JNS. “It’s a case of a rotten tree.”
A new bipartisan bill introduced by Reps. Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.) and Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.) to permanently dismantle and replace the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, some of whose members participated directly in the Oct. 7 attacks, is long overdue, experts told JNS.
“It’s trying to put the administration’s words into action,” Yoni Tobin, senior policy analyst at the Jewish Institute for National Security of America, told JNS on Tuesday, when the bill was introduced.
“It sort of lays out a roadmap for how to actually create not only a pathway to dismantle UNRWA but to replace it,” he said. “To ensure that there is an entity that does what UNRWA was supposed to do all these years but didn’t do.”
The Replace UNRWA with Real Humanitarian Assistance Act would require the U.S. secretary of state to submit, within 180 days, a “comprehensive strategy, coordinated with international partners and allies,” for dismantling the agency, which the U.N. 1. Bill to dissolve Knesset passes unanimously, officially beginning election recess

"We are completing a four year term, we have passed nine budgets, hundreds of laws," said Coalition whip Ofir Katz ahead of the bill's passing.
The Knesset plenum on early Friday morning passed the party funding law, which includes the clause to dissolve the 25th Knesset ahead of the election period.

The law will significantly expand government control over Israel’s broadcast media and news sector by overhauling media regulation, removing longstanding oversight mechanisms, minimum journalistic standards, obligations to invest in original Israeli productions and restrictions on cross-ownership, while giving the government greater influence over television ratings and state advertising allocation.

More than 60% of the Gaza Strip is now under Israeli military control, according to Maj. Gen. Avi Bluth, head of the IDF’s Central Command, marking a significant expansion beyond the territory Israel was authorized to retain temporarily under the October 2025 ceasefire agreement with Hamas.
Speaking at a change-of-command ceremony for the 99th Division on Wednesday, Bluth said Israeli forces had made substantial gains during operations in the enclave.

The Syrian Interior Ministry announced on Thursday that its specialized units thwarted an attempt to smuggle a large shipment of advanced weapons across the Syrian-Iraqi border, seizing the cargo before it entered Syrian territory.
According to the ministry, the operation began after authorities identified a vehicle parked within the border area under suspicious circumstances. Almighty God,
We give You thanks for a President that loves America and wants to make changes in the world so that others can overcome communist regimes. We pray that the America First policies (immigration enforcement and successful models) will continue to make the changes that are taking place in Latin America and across the world. We thank You, O Lord, that these nations are now abandoning communism, leading them into free markets, security and traditional values. As President Trump continues to move these regions into law and order, and economic freedoms, we pray that all rogue regimes would fall to the ground. Lord, establish Your righteous kingdom in every nation that You have created.
Father, as President Trump now cracks down on the communist policies that Democratic Socialists are trying to bring into America, we pray for wisdom and discernment for him and the Republican Party as they destroy the spirits of Islam and Socialism. This “red-green alliance” is trying to take away the freedoms that our forefathers and our military have given to us. Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman issued a warning to the Democratic Party on Wednesday, stating that he would leave it if the party officially turns its back on Israel.

“If our party ever becomes — and just makes it official — the anti-Israel party, that’s when I would leave because that’s been a moral clarity for me,” Fetterman said during an interview at the Hill Nation Summit in Washington.
The senator claimed he could not understand why the Democratic Party, which shares a lot of similarities with Israel, would turn against the country and that he fears the long-term trajectory for Democrats, who have been more vocally against Israel amid a rise in progressivism among the party. 3. House Passes SAVE America Act as Part of MUST-PASS National Security Bill - The Gateway Pundit
House Republicans delivered a major victory for election integrity on Wednesday after passing the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) with the SAVE America Act language included, sending the combined legislation to the Senate in a 217-209 vote.
The move marks the latest escalation in President Donald Trump’s push to require proof of U.S. citizenship for voter registration and strengthen voter identification requirements before the 2026 midterm elections.
The vote came after weeks of intense pressure from conservative lawmakers and grassroots activists who demanded that Speaker Mike Johnson ensure the SAVE America Act was attached to must-pass legislation rather than allowing it to languish in the Senate.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, the House first approved a special rules resolution to attach the SAVE America Act to the NDAA, overcoming fierce Democrat opposition. Every Democrat voted against that procedural measure, with only one Republican, Rep. Randy Fine from Florida, joining them.

The rise of power-hungry data centers is posing a new challenge to the nation’s aging natural gas pipeline infrastructure.

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump put an end to a brief cessation of traffic stops intended to identify and process illegal migrants in Maine, after the Pine Tree States' senior senator, Republican Susan Collins, urged the policing measure to be halted.
On Tuesday night, following a fatal shooting in Biddeford, Maine, during one such traffic stop, Collins reportedly called Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin and explicitly urged him to cease all non-urgent vehicle stops nationwide.
DHS, under Mullin's direction, then implemented the temporary pause, but in an executive flex, Trump overruled it within 24 hours.

The Hypocrisy Behind the Mask

History shows that authoritarian movements often present themselves as champions of equality, justice, and compassion while quietly rewarding allies, silencing critics, and dividing people into favored and disfavored groups. Two recent stories illustrate that pattern. One reports allegations that a senior official connected with the Southern Poverty Law Center, which designates hate groups and says it opposes Nazism, the KKK, etc., diverted donor money to someone reportedly connected with neo-Nazi ideology. The other questions New York mayor Zohran Mamdani’ motives after shutting off power in a Jewish neighborhood in the Bronx. These events clearly expose the widening gap between public rhetoric and public conduct.
The Southern Poverty Law Center has spent years labeling many conservative and Judeo-Christian organizations as "hate groups," a designation that has carried serious consequences for ministries, family organizations, and public figures. Those labels have influenced media coverage, corporate decisions, and public opinion. If reports that donor money flowed to someone with neo-Nazi connections are accurate, the irony is impossible to ignore. Organizations claiming moral authority carry an even greater responsibility to demonstrate integrity. Likewise, leaders who promise to represent every citizen must apply equal concern to every neighborhood and every religious community. Public trust depends upon consistent principles rather than selective favoritism. A standard that changes according to ideology soon becomes no standard at all. Read More

Johnson: Congress Must Act on Birthright Citizenship

Speaker Mike Johnson says Congress must now take up the issue of birthright citizenship. His call comes just days after the Supreme Court blocked President Donald Trump’s effort to end the practice by executive order. The move signals that Republican leaders are shifting the fight from the White House to Capitol Hill.
For years, birthright citizenship has been treated as settled law. But the recent ruling, along with a key opinion from one justice, has opened a narrow door that Republicans now hope to walk through. What happens next could shape American citizenship for generations to come.
The Ruling Behind the Push
On June 30, the Supreme Court rejected the executive order that sought to limit automatic citizenship. The order, signed early in Trump’s second term, would have denied automatic citizenship to children born in the United States unless at least one parent was a citizen or held lawful permanent status. Five justices held that the 14th Amendment guarantees citizenship to nearly all children born on U.S. soil, even those born to parents in the country illegally. In total, six justices ruled against the order, while three dissented.
The most important detail was not the loss itself, but how one justice framed it. Justice Brett Kavanaugh agreed the order was unlawful, yet he ruled that it violated a 1940 federal law rather than settling the question forever. He wrote that Congress could change that law and create exceptions to birthright citizenship for children born to parents here illegally or only temporarily.
That single opinion is the reason Johnson believes there may be a path forward. If the matter is partly a question of federal law, then Congress, and not only the courts, may be able to act. Justice Clarence Thomas went further in his dissent, arguing that the majority had wrongly expanded the amendment’s meaning and devalued the gift of citizenship.
Johnson Sounds the Alarm
Speaking on Fox News Sunday, Johnson said his conference is “looking at all angles” to address the issue. He explained that if a simple legislative fix is possible, the House will move on it right away, but that a constitutional amendment would take far longer. Two of President Donald Trump’s most consequential Cabinet nominees are making their case before the Senate on Wednesday, as confirmation hearings get underway for acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and Director of National Intelligence nominee Jay Clayton.
The parallel hearings mark a pivotal day for the Trump administration as Republicans push to lock in permanent leadership at both the Justice Department and across the U.S. intelligence community.
Blanche is appearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, while Clayton is testifying before the Senate Intelligence Committee after his hearing was unexpectedly delayed last month at Trump’s request.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune recently expressed confidence that both nominees remain on track despite expected partisan clashes during Wednesday’s proceedings.

Anti-Semitic Amendment Aimed at Essential Appropriations Bill

The U.S. House of Representatives faces an immune system showdown, as a rogue Republican tries to inject anti-Semitic venom into a key appropriations bill. The “National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs Appropriations Act” (H.R.8595) will now see a vote on eliminating all military aid to Israel, courtesy of Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.).
“This amendment singles out the State of Israel” in a way “detrimental to our national security,” Quena González, FRC’s senior director of Government Affairs, told members of Congress in a letter. “As our closest ally and the most mature democracy in the Middle East, Israel is a stabilizing force in the region. The United States and Israel share common civilizational values, and Israel also provides information, intelligence, technology, and more to the United States, which helps keep Americans safe.”
“None of the funds made available under this Act shall be obligated or expended for Israel,” Massie’s amendment states. It would also cut the “Foreign Military Financing Program” by $3.3 billion to squeeze out American military support for Israel. The House Rules Committee ruled the amendment in order on Monday, and the “Massie amendment” (he has two, but this is the controversial one) will receive a standalone vote as “Amendment No 8.”
Ironically, the Massie amendment has not created a headache for Israel so much as for Democratic House leadership. While Massie’s anti-Israel stance is an outlier among Republicans, opposition to Israel is widespread enough in the Democratic Party that its leadership cannot simply ignore it.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) informed his caucus in a Tuesday morning meeting that he would vote against the Massie amendment. That declaration was consistent with Jeffries’s “Dear Colleague” letter he distributed on Monday.
Meanwhile, the pro-Israel minority in the Democratic Party cheered Jeffries’s public stand. “He was courageous this morning,” Rep. Richard Neal (D-Mass.) told his staff. Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.) characterized Jeffries’s action as “putting principle and what’s best for America’s national security ahead of finger in the wind politics.”
With the stakes so high (especially for Israel), it would be irresponsible to risk such an amendment actually passing. Current predictions suggest the Massie amendment will fail; with Republicans mostly united behind Israel, it will likely take only a handful of Democrats to sink the amendment. Dear Greiner Prayer Intercessors and friends of the cross,
YES, IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN! Please pray for our area again…
At this moment, Kerr County is getting record rain, about 30 inches in the area during the last week. The rain is still falling and more is predicted tonight. (Search the words “KERRVILLE FLOODING” and you can find hundreds of news stories on the unfolding repeat catastrophe.)
RIVER RISE
The Guadalupe River has crested at 20’ high at Hunt and 38’ at Center Point downstream. From the news videos, it appears at Louis Hayes Park in Kerrville, the water reached the same height as the historic flood last year, or possibly slightly higher. Since the roads are closed, business owners are just now learning of damage to their property.
DEATH TOLL
However, this flood has NOT been as devastating. 139 people were lost last year on July 4, 2025, 119 on the Guadalupe River alone. So far, only one person has died this year.
Last year, the river rose 20’ in 45 minutes, in the dark, in the middle of the night. This caught everyone off guard. This rain event is happening over three days and was predicted in advance.
WARNINGS
There were lots of warnings this time. The local San Antonio News TV stations predicted last night that a possible major flood event was possible in the Hill Country. During the middle of the night, our cell phones started getting ALERTS repeatedly over and over all night. The new river warning sirens sounded too when the water actually rose. (Kerrville residents are “snake bit”.) So, this time everyone paid much more attention to the TV warnings, stayed alert all night and prayed. This saved lives.
DEBRIS
There is much less debris floating down the river this time, primarily because all the trees, buildings and vehicles were wiped out by the flood a year ago. The land was striped clean so there was much less to destroy this time. All the debris was hauled away by hundreds of trucks over the last year, thank God.
RAINING HARD NOW
It started raining hard again now. Our rain gauge is “Maxed out.” We were told 6” more inches of rain is expected tonight. So, please keep praying for the Texas Hill Country. Thank you.

GREINERS & GARDEN
Sherry and I are fine; so is The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Garden, to my knowledge. Our house was built on a 1930’ hilltop south of the river( https://maxgreinerart.com/studio_ranch.htm ). The garden and The Empty Cross are on a 1930’hilltop, north of the Guadalupe River (www.thecomingkingsculptureprayergarden.org). However, we had to close the garden today, which rarely happens. I also told all Greiner employees to stay home and pray.
The free garden, which is open 365 days a year, has only been closed three or four days since 2010, after the cross was erected. Ice in the winter and flooding in the summer have been the reasons for past closers. We have not been able to inspect the garden for damage yet, but I assume there is some erosion. Our home/studio is fine, except we have about three inches of water in our solar atrium, which has a natural limestone rock floor. We are good, thank you God.

Treasure hunters in Florida recently uncovered a 22.5-pound silver bar from a legendary shipwreck — the first of its kind recovered in nearly three decades.
Divers with Mel Fisher's Shipwreck Expeditions, working from the salvage vessel DARE, found the silver bar at the wreck site of the Nuestra Señora de Atocha.
Captain Drake Nicholas and the crew recovered the silver bar from about 50 feet of water off Key West, Florida, according to a press release.
Treasure hunters in Florida recently uncovered a 22.5-pound silver bar from a legendary shipwreck — the first of its kind recovered in nearly three decades.
Divers with Mel Fisher's Shipwreck Expeditions, working from the salvage vessel DARE, found the silver bar at the wreck site of the Nuestra Señora de Atocha.
