170 Inmates Receive 'Fresh Start,'
Baptized Behind Bars At TN County Jail:
'We Get A New Beginning'
|
|
There is no doubt that an incredible spiritual movement is taking shape in America. From college campuses to beaches on both coasts and evangelistic outreaches in small towns, there is evidence that the Spirit of God is moving as people give their lives to Jesus Christ.
This phenomenon is also going behind bars, including the Sumner County Jail in Gallatin, Tennessee, where 170 inmates were baptized last weekend, according to WTFV-TV. Men and women waited patiently for their turn inside the small jail to publicly declare the change that had taken place in their hearts — a newfound relationship with Jesus Christ.
"Here at the Sumner County jail, something very unique is happening involving dozens and dozens of inmates hoping to change their lives," Jerry Scott, the jail administrator," told the outlet. Long Hollow Church and First Baptist Church of Hendersonville work closely with jail staff to baptize inmates periodically throughout the year, and last weekend's event became the largest they had seen.(CBN) Read More Here
- Abba Father, we CELEBRATE the 170 inmates who gave their lives to Christ and pray for those currently discipling others in jail by sharing the truth of freedom found in the gospel! May there be a harvest of surrendered lives for Jesus. We pray for blessings upon Prison Ministries across our nation and invite Holy Spirit to miraculously change hearts, revealing transformed lives and JOY in abundance! We pray this in the powerful Name of Yeshua.-Amen

ICE arrests 'worst of the worst' illegal aliens in Los Angeles while protesters advocate for criminals: DHS
|
|
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents captured the "worst of the worst" criminal illegal aliens in Los Angeles during operations on Friday, including murderers, sex offenders and other violent criminals, the agency said on Sunday.
ICE agents carried out operations at businesses across Los Angeles on Friday, which sparked protests and clashes outside multiple locations, resulting in authorities throwing flash bangs to disperse the crowd.
About 45 people were arrested across several locations, including two Home Depot stores, a store in the fashion district and a doughnut shop.
"Why do Governor Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass care more about violent murderers and sex offenders than they do about protecting their own citizens?" Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin asked. "These rioters in Los Angeles are fighting to keep rapists, murderers, and other violent criminals loose on Los Angeles streets. Instead of rioting, they should be thanking ICE officers every single day who wake up and make our communities safer." (Fox News) Read more here.

|
- We pray for the safety of all law enforcement officers participating in this strategic, dangerous effort to rid our country of violent criminals. We ask you Lord God to give them all wisdom as they track the criminals and plan their operations. We pray that this agenda defending criminals would be exposed and we thank you, Lord, that we know the majority of the American people support safety and security. Thank you Lord for restoring America’s safety in Jesus' name, amen.
- “the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!” (Isaiah 30:18)

ABC's Terry Moran suspended after journalist slams Trump, top advisor in since-deleted post
|
|
The White House fired back on Sunday after ABC News correspondent Terry Moran went off on Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller and President Donald Trump in a now-deleted social media post in which he called them both "world-class" haters.
"Miller is a man who is richly endowed with the capacity for hatred. He's a world-class hater," Moran wrote in the now-deleted post. "You can see this just by looking at him because you can see that his hatreds are his spiritual nourishment. He eats his hate."
"Trump is a world-class hater. But his hatred only [sic] a means to an end, and that end his[sic] his own glorification. That's his spiritual nourishment," Moran continued.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt responded to the post on X, Sunday, calling it "unhinged and unacceptable."
Leavitt also joined Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures" and told host Maria Bartiromo that Moran was supposed to be an "unbiased and professional journalist."
"This is unacceptable and unhinged rhetoric coming from someone who works at a major television network," Leavitt added. "We have reached out to ABC, they have said they will be taking action, so we will see what they do. But I think this speaks to the distrust the American public have in the legacy media."
Vice President JD Vance also called out Moran on Sunday and said the post was "dripping with hatred. Remember that every time you watch ABC's coverage of the Trump administration," Vance added.
"ABC News stands for objectivity and impartiality in its news coverage and does not condone subjective personal attacks on others. The post does not reflect the views of ABC News and violated our standards — as a result, Terry Moran has been suspended pending further evaluation," an ABC spokesperson told Fox News Digital in a statement. - Lord God, the attempt to silence truth and fair and balanced reporting cannot go any further right now in Jesus Christ’s name. We declare that free-speech are our values and principles that Americans hold dear, but slander is dishonest and deceitful and we pray integrity comes back to our media, in Jesus' name, amen.
- “This is what the LORD says: “Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my ighteousness will soon be revealed.” (Isaiah 56:1)

Putin raises the stakes on ‘ghost fleet’ security, as NATO launches war games in the Baltic Sea
|
|
NATO navies are putting on a display of maritime might in the Baltic Sea this month, as thousands of personnel from 17 countries aboard 50 vessels take part in war games led by the U.S. Navy's 6th Fleet.
Of the nine countries that share a Baltic Sea coastline, only Russia is not a NATO member, and June's BALTOPS exercise aims to ensure those other countries can work together to defend the area, at a time when Moscow is turning up the heat.
"This year’s BALTOPS is more than just an exercise," said U.S. Vice Admiral J.T. Anderson in a press release this week. "It’s a visible demonstration of our Alliance’s resolve, adaptability and maritime strength."
Over the last year there's been growing disquiet about Russia's malign influence in the Baltic Sea region, with several incidents of severed undersea cables. Suspicion has fallen on Russia's fleet of so-called "ghost" or "shadow" ships: hundreds of aging vessels, mostly oil tankers flying under foreign flags that are used to circumvent Western sanctions or trade in military hardware.
There are also well-founded concerns that some of these ships are used for covert intelligence gathering, communication intercepts or to sabotage undersea infrastructure like internet cables or gas and electricity pipelines. Three crew members from a Cook Islands-registered vessel, believed to be part of Russia’s ghost fleet, are currently facing charges in Finland over damage to an undersea cable that prosecutors say happened when the ship dragged its anchor for 60 miles along the floor of the Baltic Sea.
"There's a growing importance of the shadow fleet to Russia's wartime economy, and a growing awareness that NATO needs to stop it," Tony Lawrence, a naval expert and researcher at the International Centre for Defence and Security in Estonia, told Fox News Digital.
But after a number of NATO navies adopted a tougher stance against the ghost ships through stop-and-search tactics, the Russians announced they would use their own navy to escort the fleet through the Baltic Sea.
"The Russian military presence in the region has always been visible, this is not a new feature. However, what is new is that Russia is protecting its shadow fleet tankers in the narrow pass of the Gulf of Finland," Finnish Defense Minister Antti Häkkänen said in a recent television interview with Finland's YLE TV.
NATO governments are keeping a close eye on the latest Baltic Sea developments and preparing for any possible increase in tensions. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen spoke at a meeting of NATO's Nordic and Baltic members this week, and described the Russian threat as real and serious. "We see a more aggressive Russian approach in the Baltic Sea region," she told reporters. (Fox News) Read more here.
|
|
- Father God, whenever the Russians begin to be active within their military structure, it is time for the watchmen to take note. In this case, we thank You, O Lord, that the NATO nations in the Baltic Region are clearly taking note of the activity of these "ghost ships" and are prepared to take action to protect their own countries, should it become necessary. We pray today that the "kings" of these nations, who are aligned with the United States, be granted Your wisdom as they monitor the activity of Russia. In Your Name, Holy One, we offer this prayer, amen and amen.
- "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence." (I Timothy 2:1,2)

Kash Patel Warns LA Leftists Who Assault Police: "You're Going to Jail"
|
|
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel issued a warning Saturday as leftists in Los Angeles, California, rioted against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
Patel told Fox News, “If you assault a law enforcement officer, you’re going to jail — period. It doesn’t matter where you came from, how you got here, or what cause you claim to represent. ”
“If local jurisdictions won’t stand behind the men and women who wear the badge, the FBI will,” he added.
His comments came as tensions ramped up amid standoffs between ICE agents and protesters who tried to thwart illegal immigration sweeps in the area, Breitbart News reported Saturday.
Patel reiterated his agency’s stance in a post Saturday evening, writing, “Hit a cop, you’re going to jail… doesn’t matter where you came from, how you got here, or what movement speaks to you. If the local police force won’t back our men and women on the thin blue line, we FBI will.”
According to the Fox article, U.S. Border Patrol Chief Michael W. Banks said a Border Patrol agent’s hand was bloodied during the riots after being hit by a flying rock that came through a windshield.
“Several arrests have already been made for assault on a federal agent. ANY attack on our agents or officers will not be tolerated. You will be arrested and federally prosecuted,” Banks wrote in a social media post Saturday:
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino said Saturday that multiple arrests were made for obstructing law enforcement operations, adding, “More are coming” before issuing a warning:
“We are pouring through the videos for more perpetrators. You bring chaos, and we’ll bring handcuffs. Law and order will prevail,” he stated. (Breitbart) Read more here.

- Father God, we thank You for putting Kash Patel in place as the head of the FBI. This "no nonsense" leader, along with his Deputy Director Dan Bongino, are stating a clear policy: anyone who attacks a policeman will go to jail. We are grateful to have these strong men in authority over the FBI.

Iranians told IAEA Director-General Rafael Grossi that if Israel strikes its nuclear facilities, this could push them over the edge and they will try to create nuclear weapons, Grossi said on Monday in an exclusive interview with The Jerusalem Post.
“A strike could potentially have an amalgamating effect, solidifying Iran’s determination – I will say it plainly – to pursue a nuclear weapon or withdraw from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons,” Grossi said.

4. Shas to back preliminary vote to dissolve Knesset, citing stalled draft exemption law - Times of Israel
The ultra-Orthodox Shas party said Monday that it will vote in favor of a bill to dissolve the Knesset, set for a preliminary vote Wednesday, citing its disappointment over the government’s failure to legislate broad exemptions from the army for the ultra-Orthodox community.
Shas’s ally, the United Torah Judaism party, is also expected to back the preliminary reading of the bill, which would require three more votes in the coming weeks in order to pass.
“As things stand, we will vote on Wednesday in favor of dissolving the Knesset, Shas spokesman Asher Medina said in an interview with the Kol Beramah radio station.

1. North Korea refloats warship after failed launch - BBC
North Korea has reportedly refloated a warship after it capsized during a launch attempt, in an incident that drew harsh criticism from the country's leader Kim Jong Un. State-run news agency KCNA reported on Friday that the warship had "safely entered the water vertically" and had then been "moored at the pier". It is expected to be fully repaired before a key meeting led by Kim which top officials in the one-party state will attend, KCNA said.
The 5,000-tonne destroyer can be seen upright at the pier and then about three hours later, "floating in the harbour" in satellite images published by specialist news sites 38 North and NK News. The effort to right the ship, which had happened on Thursday, was a manual process, researchers at 38 North said, noting that satellite imaging showed workers on the quay pulling tethers and using barrage balloons to bring the vessel back to balance. Some of the balloons appeared to still be attached to the vessel, they added.
Kim, who witnessed the warship tipping over during the failed launch about two weeks ago, had criticised the incident as a "criminal act" that "severely damaged the [country's] dignity and pride". It was the result of "absolute carelessness, irresponsibility and unscientific empiricism", he added. (Read more)

- Ukraine's Air Force reports that nine missiles and 206 drones were launched by Russia overnight
- In the southern city of Kherson, officials say a married couple in their 50s were killed when a residential building was hit

3. Russia and Ukraine fail again to agree ceasefire but commit to prisoner swap - BBC
A second round of direct peace talks between Russia and Ukraine have ended without a major breakthrough, and only a deal to swap more prisoners of war.
Ukrainian negotiators said Russia had again rejected an "unconditional ceasefire" - a key demand by Kyiv and its allies in Europe and the US - but the two committed to return the bodies of 12,000 soldiers.
The Russian team said it had proposed a two- or three-day truce "in certain areas" of the vast front line, but gave no further details.
At Monday's talks, which were held in the Turkish city of Istanbul and lasted just over an hour, the two sides did agree to exchange all sick and heavily wounded prisoners of war, as well those aged under 25. (Read more)

4. ICE makes record number of immigration arrests on single day - The Guardian
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) made a record high number of arrests on Tuesday, detaining more than 2,200 people as Donald Trump’s hardline immigration policy continues.
NBC News reported that the figure represents the most people ever arrested by Ice in a single day.
Hundreds of the people arrested were enrolled in Ice’s alternative to detention program, under which migrants who are awaiting legal status are given background checks to determine they are not a safety risk, then tracked by the government using ankle monitors or smartphone apps.
The record total comes after senior officials over the weekend instructed rank-and-file Ice officers to arrest more people, even without warrants. In May, the White House demanded that Ice arrest 3,000 people a day.
Some of the arrests “appear to be the result of a new Ice tactic”, NBC News reported, in which Ice officials arrest migrants who are enrolled in the alternative to detention program when they arrive at pre-scheduled check-in meetings at Ice offices. (Read more)

5. DOGE can access sensitive Social Security records, Supreme Court rules - POLITICO
Trump administration lawyers claimed the DOGE team members needed unfettered access to Social Security’s data in order to detect and halt fraudulent payments. The Department of Government Efficiency can have unimpeded access to sensitive Social Security records for millions of people, the Supreme Court ruled Friday.
The justices granted the Trump administration’s emergency request to lift a lower-court order that had blocked a DOGE team assigned to the Social Security Administration from viewing or obtaining personal information in the agency’s systems.
The court’s majority provided no detailed explanation for its ruling, but in a three-paragraph unsigned order, the majority wrote: “We conclude that, under the present circumstances, SSA may proceed to afford members of the SSA DOGE Team access to the agency records in question in order for those members to do their work.” (Read more)

6. Musk does immediate 180 on Trump as soon as LA riots rage - Fox News
The hostile public feud between SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk and President Donald Trump may be losing steam.
While Musk and Trump traded harsh barbs Thursday just after Musk's departure serving as a special government employee spearheading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), the tech mogul appeared to extend an olive branch to the Trump administration amid immigration raid protests in Los Angeles over the weekend.
"Governor Gavin Newscum and ‘Mayor’ Bass should apologize to the people of Los Angeles for the absolutely horrible job that they’ve done, and this now includes the ongoing L.A. riots," Trump said late Sunday in the post Musk shared. "These are not protesters, they are troublemakers and insurrectionists."
Additionally, Musk also re-posted one of Vice President JD Vance’s posts on X about the riots.
"This moment calls for decisive leadership," Vance said, sharing a screenshot of a post from Trump about how his administration would address the riots. "The president will not tolerate rioting and violence." (Read more)

The Pattern and Prophecy of Shavu’ot, Pentecost, and the Final Harvest
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, June 9, 2025
The biblical festival of Shavu’ot—also known as the Feast of Weeks—is one of the three pilgrimage festivals outlined in Scripture, concluding the 50-day Counting of the Omer that begins after Passover. First mentioned in Leviticus 23:15–16 as Yom HaBikkurim—the Day of Firstfruits—Shavu’ot was originally a thanksgiving offering for the early harvest. But like many appointed times in Scripture, its meaning goes deeper, revealing a prophetic pattern that points to the Messiah’s return. Shavu’ot, Pentecost, and the final harvest of the Lord’s return all share commonalities in a prophetic pattern of redemption and the gathering together of God’s beloved signaled by fire, sound and glory.
The Lord’s promise in Exodus 6:6–8 gives us the arc of redemptive history: “I will bring you out…I will deliver you…I will redeem you…I will take you as My people…I will be your God…I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.” These “I will” statements climax with the promise of inheritance. Shavu’ot celebrates the fulfillment of that promise—both in the land and in the Spirit. According to Jewish tradition, it was on this same day, fifty days after Passover, that God gave the Torah at Sinai. Exodus 19 paints the scene: thunder, lightning, smoke, a loud shofar blast, and the fire of God descending on the mountain. Exodus 19:16–19 describes this awesome moment when the LORD revealed Himself with unmistakable glory and power. Read More

Trump Admin Deploying 700 US Marines to Los Angeles, Military Says
|
|
|
A senior Trump administration official confirmed the development on June 9.
The Trump administration activated 700 active-duty U.S. Marines from the Camp Pendleton base in California to Los Angeles in the midst of immigration protests and riots in the city, said military officials.
U.S. Northern Command (NORTHCOM) said in a statement on June 9 that the Marines “will seamlessly integrate” with troops “who are protecting federal personnel and federal property in the greater Los Angeles area.”
Earlier, a senior Trump administration official told The Epoch Times that the Marines are being sent to Los Angeles because of increased threats against federal buildings and federal officials in the city during the unrest.
A spokesperson told The Epoch Times that the 700 Marines will arrive sometime in Los Angeles on June 10.
NORTHCOM said in a June 8 statement that about 500 Marines would be on standby, after President Donald Trump already authorized deploying the National Guard to the city.
In a post on social media platform X, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also said that the Marines are on “high alert,” drawing pushback from California Gov. Gavin Newsom and other Democratic officials. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

650-foot mega-tsunami sends seismic waves around world and satellites captured the action
|
|
Greenland’s eastern edge rarely causes a stir, yet instruments across the world lit up at the same time with a slow, steady beat that lasted nine full days.
The pulse rose and fell every ninety-two seconds – far too sluggish for people to feel but strong enough to rattle bedrock from Alaska to Australia. No typical quake behaves that way.
Scientists soon linked the signal to Greenland’s Dickson Fjord, a narrow inlet hemmed in by 3,000-foot cliffs.
Fresh satellite images showed a new scar where a section of mountain had vanished. Something colossal had struck the water and set the fjord in motion.
Mountain falls, Dickson Fjord rises
On September 16, 2023, more than 25 million cubic yards of rock and ice – enough to fill 10,000 Olympic-size pools – broke loose and plunged into Dickson Fjord.
The impact hurled up a mega-tsunami wave, reaching about 650 feet high.
The surge barreled down the two-mile corridor, bounced off the headland, and tore back again, wrecking roughly $200,000 in equipment at an empty research post on Ella Island. (Earth.com) Read More
