Children in War-Torn Ukraine Get Chance to Escape to Summer Bible Camps
|
|
|
Perhaps the people who are the most devastated by the war between Ukraine and Russia are the children. More than 7.5 million Ukrainian children have been impacted by the war, and over 75 percent have faced mental and emotional trauma and are in dire need of counseling and other support that can help them experience healing, according to Mission Eurasia.
Mission Eurasia and Slavic Gospel Association (SGA) are both working alongside local neighborhood churches in parts of Ukraine, the former Soviet Union, and Russia, so that children will have the opportunity to attend Bible summer camps and walk out their healing.
“Many of these children and teens have lost hope, and their hearts are broken,” SGA association President Michael Johnson told MetroVoice News. “Some have been orphaned by war, others abandoned, and others have suffered abuse and neglect.”
“Local pastors are seeing more heartbreak, depression, and confusion in children and teens than ever before,” said Eric Mock, senior SGA vice president of ministry operations and a frequent visitor to the region.
“We have a generation of kids now who have grown up knowing nothing but air raid sirens and explosions,” Valentin, a pastor in Ukraine’s Odesa region, told Christian Newswire. “Summer camp is their escape, their refuge.”
Through the tool of the summer Bible camps, trained Mission Eurasia leaders not only build relationships with the children, but when the camps come to an end, they also invite the children to participate in small Bible study groups and connect them to a local church. (Crosswalk) Read more here.

Father God, we thank You that, out of the darkness of this war-torn region, Your light IS shining in the hearts of these precious children! We ask that Your hand of blessing would rest upon the teachers of the Slavic Gospel Association, and that Your hand of healing would rest upon these children.
Lord God, we ask that by means of Your divine help, You will restore what the locust has eaten in the minds and the hearts of these children. We thank You, O Lord, that it is written and true that nothing is impossible for you. We praise You, O Lord, for this report. In Your Name, amen and amen!
"But to you who fear My name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves."

Wheeling and Dealing in the Middle East
|

Please note: below please find an excerpt from a lengthy article, written by Avner Boskey and reprinted by IFA, that examines the current dilemma between the White House and Israel in detail. We will print a brief exceprt from this
excellent analysis of the current situation in the Middle East, but we also encourage

On June 8, 2026 Trump gave an interview to The Financial Times, expressing anger at Israel’s reprisal response to Iranian strikes: “But they [the missile strikes on Israel] were attacks that did not kick at all. It’s one of those things that’s been going for 3,000 years, or 47 years, depending on how you count.” Trump falsely ascribed the Iran-Israel conflict to 3,000-year-old dynamics. But that is just ‘fake news.’ The facts are rather different here: Iran and Israel had a highly positive relationship between 1967 and 1979, when Ayatollah Khomeini’s jihadi revolution pushed Iran into the spiritual meat-grinder. Trump communicated to AXIOS news site later that day that he was about to call Bibi and order him not to retaliate against Iran, as Washington’s priority was the closing of a deal with the Ayatollahs.
“Are you f***ing crazy. What are you f***ing doing? You’d be in prison if it weren’t for me. I’m saving your ass. Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this!” Trump acknowledged that Hezbollah had attacked Israel first, but stressed that the jihadi attacks had caused no real damage and that no one had been killed. He then spoke with a reporter, continuing to using foul language: “Why did Bibi have to do a f***ing attack? I was so p**sed off. I let him know. He has no f***ing judgement. I let him know that.” Through that day Trump continued to curse Netanyahu over Israel’s justified reprisals against Hezbollah and IRGC’s jihadi attacks against Israeli civilians. Trump was angry that such justifiable reprisals might nevertheless explode the fragile ‘Peace Deal’ that he was trying to cobble together – even as the jihadi terror groups kept firing at Jewish people living in Israel.
Although Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other senior officials did not publicly comment on the situation at the time, Israel’s Ambassador to the United States, Yehiel Leiter, wrote on 𝕏: “Iran fired 11 ballistic missiles at Israel today. Each one of those missiles can level an entire neighborhood and kill hundreds. No self-respecting country in the world would tolerate such an attack, and neither will Israel.”
On Tuesday June 16, 2026, speaking at the G7 summit in Évian-les-Bains, France, alongside Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Trump boasted like Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 4:30 and Daniel 5:20: “Without the United States, there would be no Israel. Without me, there would be no Israel, because no other president was willing to do what I did. Israel would have been blown up a long time ago, had I not gotten involved.” (Excerpt from Avner Boskey and IFA)

Such foul and prideful language reveals that the POTUS is not being guided by the God of Jacob’s heart and values when it comes to issues regarding Israel, the apple of His eye (see Zechariah 2:8).

Abba, our nation needs Your help. We praise You that President Trump has started the process to bring peace with Iran, but it seems to have created a breach between our President and PM Netanyahu. We know that often this type of situation is created "for the effect", but is not an actual split between leaders. Father God, we know You love both President Trump and PM Netanyahu and that they have had disagreements before, but this feels different. We ask You to give Your intercessors eyes to see truth and Your heart to know how to pray. We ask Holy Spirit to flow between these men and bring peace and unity back into this relationship. We ask that each will have the humility to admit if their judgment in word or deed wasn't what it should have been and that forgiveness will be asked for, given and received. We ask this in the name of El Roi, The God of Seeing, the God who sees everything.
"All a person's ways seem pure to them;
but motives are weighed by the Lord."

Trump Warns Iran Faces Renewed Strikes if Nuclear Deal Violated
|
|
U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the United States would resume military strikes against Iran if Tehran violates a memorandum of understanding intended to prevent the Islamic Republic from obtaining a nuclear weapon.
Speaking on the sidelines of the G-7 summit in Évian-les-Bains, France, Trump said the agreement must permanently block Iran’s path to a nuclear weapon, but warned of military consequences if it fails.
“When I say permanently, it should be permanently. But if it’s not permanently, we will bomb them,” Trump told reporters. “They will be bombed.” He added that if Iran does not comply with the agreement, “we’ll probably go back to bombing them until they honor it.”
Asked why the agreement does not contain formal enforcement provisions, Trump replied, “Doesn’t have to.”
“What else am I going to do? Am I going to say I’m going to take you to court? No, we’re going to bomb the hell out of them if they violate the agreement,” he said.

|
Abba, we give You praise and honor for the beginnings of an agreement that President Trump has signed with Iran, stopping, for the moment, the killing and blockade of the Straits of Hormuz. We thank You that he has shown himself strong when provoked but willing to go beyond half way in giving grace. We ask Holy Spirit to move on the hearts of all Iranian leadership, give them eyes to see the future as You see it and wisdom to know the ending is dependent on their decisions in keeping or breaking their word given allowing this time of peace. We ask for the Fear of God to flow into their hearts, the knowledge that Yahweh is God, Allah is not. We ask this in the name El Gobhor, Mighty God, the God who can and will accomplish the destruction of His enemies.
"God is mighty, but despises no one;
he is mighty, and firm in his purpose."

Abba, trying to understand all the points of the US deal with Iran is impossible. Tthe real truth will be seen as we move forward and Iran walks this out with or without integrity. Father God, You know Your son, Donald's heart, better than he does. We ask You to speak to him in dreams, in visions, in trusted advisors coming to him with a word from You, in whatever way You know he will hear. We ask for correction if or where needed, for encouragement where his heart is feeling worn, for rest for his body and for peace of mind.
Yahweh, we ask You to speak to Your children, Israel. They too might need correction, but certainly they need encouragement, rest and peace. Speak to Your son, Benjamin, let Your love flow to him, give him wisdom and knowledge far beyond his own abilities, lift him up and encourage him as he walks out this difficult place We ask this in the name of El Shaddai, God Almighty, the God who has ultimate power over all things.
"As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him."

'Trump should renege':
Iran deal faces backlash from conservative allies
|
|
|
Critics say the framework gives Iran huge financial benefits without requiring dismantlement of nuclear infrastructure
|
|
|
President Donald Trump's proposed Iran agreement is drawing sharp criticism from some of his strongest supporters, who argue the deal rewards Tehran before it has agreed to fully dismantle its nuclear program.
The 14-point framework agreement, unveiled on Wednesday, establishes an immediate ceasefire between the United States and Iran, with key provisions including the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, the removal of the U.S. naval blockade, temporary waivers allowing Iranian oil exports, access to frozen Iranian assets and a commitment to negotiate a final agreement within 60 days. The framework also outlines a proposed economic reconstruction package reportedly worth at least $300 billion and includes Iran's renewed pledge not to pursue nuclear weapons.
However, critics note that the agreement does not require the immediate dismantlement of Iran's nuclear infrastructure, the removal of enriched uranium stockpiles, restrictions on Tehran's ballistic missile program or the disbandment of Iranian-backed proxy groups such as Hezbollah.
Despite the administration portraying the agreement as a breakthrough, critics have argued that the concessions offered to Iran far outweigh the commitments secured in return.
Conservative talk radio host Mark Levin praised President Trump's decision to use military force against Iran but sharply criticized the proposed MOU, arguing that it abandons U.S. leverage before Tehran has made meaningful concessions.
"From day one, I have underscored that no deal will be honored by the Iranian regime," Levin wrote on X, adding, "Why would we agree to immediately drop the most important leverage we have over the regime in advance of it complying with MOU requirements?" (Fox News) Read more here.

Abba, there are so many who don't see Your son, Donald, through Your eyes. So many don't trust You to be able to work Your plans through him. Father God, we need an outpouring of Your Spirit to bring sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf and understanding for the confused. We need Your presence to bring safety and peace to hearts that are fearful, we need Your nearness to steady us on this rocky path. Jesus, we need You to help us build our faith and trust in Your power to "keep us" and our nation even when everything feels out of control. We ask for Your grace to 'let go' and trust You to accomplish all Your plans for our country, Your plans are always plans for good and not for evil. We ask this in the name of Yahweh Shalom, The Lord Our Peace, the God who makes us whole.
"In peace I will lie down and sleep, for
you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety."

1. Netanyahu braces for Trump pressure on Israel's military moves - Israel Hayom
In light of US President Donald Trump's reversal on Iran, Israel is preparing for a period of at least several months in which pressure will be applied on it to limit its military operations.
Israel Hayom has learned that the line adopted by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of the demands expected from Trump is to "say 'yes' where possible, and 'no' as much as necessary."
Sources close to Netanyahu further say Israel must "act wisely" in the current situation and respond with its head, not its gut. (Read more)

2. Netanyahu is working behind the scenes to influence Iran deal - report - i24 News
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is working to alter the US-Iran memorandum of understanding (MoU) through back-channel pressure on President Donald Trump, enlisting right-wing media figures and pro-Israel senators to push back on the agreement, CNN reported on Thursday.
According to an Israeli source, Netanyahu remains deeply skeptical of Iran's intentions throughout the talks, believing Tehran was never negotiating in good faith, and still assesses there will be no final deal between Washington and Tehran.
With Trump having signed the MoU and triggered a 60-day negotiation window, Netanyahu is now trying to leverage allies in the American media landscape to amplify his message, including pro-Israel podcaster Mark Levin, who said this week that the deal "doesn't make any sense" and called the proposed $300 billion reconstruction fund for Iran a "slush fund." Hassan Khomeini, a grandson of the first Iranian supreme leader, Ruhollah Khomeini, has hailed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the US and Iran as a major “victory” for Tehran.
The “greater jihad” would now begin, he promised, according to a speech aired by Iranian state media earlier this week.
In order to maintain victory, Iranians “must stay away from pointless disputes, disputes that are the product of ego and self-centeredness,” Khomeini said. (Read more)

5. Israel Vows to Remain in Southern Lebanon as Hezbollah Expects Cash Infusion From Trump’s Iran Deal - Algemeiner
Israel has vowed not to withdraw from southern Lebanon, even as the newly signed US-Iran memorandum of understanding reshapes regional dynamics and declares a “termination of military operations” in the country, with Hezbollah expecting a sharp rise in political leverage and a significant boost in funding.
On Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that while Israel values its close partnership with the United States, the country is determined to secure the safety of communities along its northern border amid the persistent and escalating threat posed by the Iran-backed Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah.
“The struggle is not over yet and additional challenges still lie ahead,” Netanyahu said during a dedication ceremony of Route 60.
“We will restore security to the north,” he continued. “That means maintaining the security zone in southern Lebanon and remaining there for as long as Israel’s security requires it. This buffer zone separates Hezbollah terrorists from our citizens and our homes.”

1. Trump says intelligence chief pick’s hearing is off and Pulte will remain for now - Washington Post
The Senate Intelligence Committee was only hours away from questioning Jay Clayton, a senior Justice Department attorney Trump nominated as director of national intelligence, when Trump said on his Truth Social platform that the hearing would be delayed.
Trump demanded that the Senate first confirm Jamie McDonald, tapped as Clayton’s replacement as U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, for the Clayton confirmation process to proceed. He also said he would not reauthorize a critical spy tool unless the Senate passed new voting restrictions through a bill known as the Save America Act.
The delay will leave Bill Pulte — a mortgage regulation official and MAGA loyalist with no national security experience — as the acting intelligence director. Pulte is expected to take over for departing DNI Tulsi Gabbard, who has said she is leaving due to her husband’s cancer diagnosis, in the coming days. (Read more)

Lord God,
We pray against all division going on between President Trump and the Senate Intelligence Committee. Your word tells us that a house divided can not stand, so Father, we bring this matter concerning the replacement for Tulsi Gabbard before Your throne of grace and mercy. We do not know the reason behind President Trump calling off this confirmation hearing for Jay Clayton as Director of National Security but Lord, You do.
Oh what a wicked web of deceit and game playing it seems our government has become so good at. Father, speak to each member of our Senate and to President Trump and give them direct instructions from the Throne Room of heaven so that they all can work together in unity for the betterment and security of the American people.
We speak peace and unity into every aspect of our government agencies and decree that God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
"And this is the plan; At the right time He will bring together under the authority of Christ; everything in heaven and on earth." (Ephesians 1:10)

2. We Have Nothing To Do With It’: On the Sidelines of the G7 Summit, Trump Distances Himself From the Ukraine War – The Gateway Pundit
For Trump, the Ukraine war is just a distant conflict, not an urgent priority.
During the high-level G7 meetings happening in the French city of Evian, many Euro-Globalist leaders were quick to celebrate the fact that, according to them, US President Donald J. Trump has changed his tone on the Russia-Ukraine war, and would be ready to join the EU in pressuring Moscow to end the war.
Slavyangrad in Telegram reported on German Chancellor Friedrich Merz commenting on this very issue:
“I can probably say, without violating the confidentiality of the discussions, that what gives us all reason for confidence is President Trump’s statement – ‘Russia must end this war’. And I believe this is a clear signal. Russia must end this war.”
But while the G7 Summit tried to focus on helping Ukraine, Trump himself made it clear that helping the Ukraine war effort is not on his priority list. Read more

Jehovah Shalom,
We pray for Your peace to fall on President Trump today. The burdens on his shoulders are almost too much for him to bear, so Lord we pray for You to help him carry them so that his mind can have rest. You are not the God of confusion so we pray for him to stay focused!
The conflicts that he is having to make decisions on are overbearing -- even for a strong man like our President. He is dealing with Iran and the decision to stop the war so that the world does not have an economic collapse. But at the same time, this crisis is causing him to be in the middle of much warfare against him.
As the war in Ukraine continues, we pray for the Ukrainian people and ask You, Lord, to bring to fruition the words that President Trump spoke at the G7 summit concerning Ukraine: "Putin Must End the War." Let it be so, O Lord! Let it be so!
Father, we ask You to protect President Trump's mind and soul and turn his heart and focus back to Israel and Your people as he faces all the foes that are against him in this hour. In the Mighty name of Jehovah, we humbly offer this prayer. Amen and Amen.
"He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous, Both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord." (Proverbs 17:15)

EVIAN, France, June 17 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday he had held a "very good" conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the G7 summit in France and that their two countries were working on trade deals.
Trump called Modi a "tough negotiator," and told reporters that he would be going to India "sometime in the future".
India has been pressing the United States for months for a Trump trip, potentially as part of a meeting including Japan and Australia. (Read more)

Lord God, we thank You that the U.S. and India are mending relationships, but we pray that President Trump would not enter into any trade or other agreements with P.M. Modi that are not sanctioned by You.
We do ask and pray for the safety of Indian seafarers in the Strait of Hormuz and elsewhere but also pray against any evil collaboration by these workers with the Iranian regime. May their actions be beneficial to the citizens of India and not bring any harm to the U.S.
Lord, You also know if and when President Trump should respond to the invitation to visit India. We earnestly pray that President Trump clearly hear Your voice in these decisions and be established in the center of Your will. May our nation and India work together for good; and in process, may we bring and demonstrate Your Good News, as we are able, to those that are perishing. In Yeshua’s saving grace, Amen.

5. Trucking Group Asks Federal Court To Strip New York, California Of CDL Authority – ZeroHedge
The Small Business in Transportation Coalition (SBTC) has filed a court petition seeking to force federal regulators to decertify the commercial driver’s license programs of New York and California.
The petition, filed June 10, asks the court to review actions by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the U.S. Department of Transportation and order the agencies to revoke the authority of New York and California to issue CDLs, escalating a dispute over immigration-related licensing policies and English-language proficiency requirements for commercial drivers.
SBTC argues that FMCSA has already determined both states were in “substantial noncompliance” with federal CDL regulations and therefore must be decertified under federal law. The organization contends that federal statutes require the transportation secretary to prohibit a state from issuing CDLs once such a determination is made.
The filing, made in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, specifically challenges FMCSA’s April 16 final determination regarding New York and also seeks relief related to a Jan. 7 determination involving California.
SBTC alleges the agency improperly failed to act on a petition it submitted in May 2025 requesting decertification orders against several states, including New York and California. Read more

We pray that this Federal Court makes the right decision in this critical matter, in Your Name, Holy One, amen and amen.

6. Trump Invokes Defense Production Act As US Moves To Rebuild Weapons Stockpiles – ZeroHedge
The Trump administration is seeking a major increase in defense spending while simultaneously using executive authority to accelerate weapons production, reflecting growing concern over U.S. munitions inventories after the war with Iran, according to NBC.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth met with Senate Republicans this week to rally support for a proposed $350 billion defense package, much of which would be directed toward replenishing missile and weapons stockpiles.
According to NBC, Sen. John Cornyn said the Pentagon is “running short of funding they need in order to acquire the weapons and missiles and things like that that they need to protect the nation.”
While Republicans are broadly supportive, some lawmakers have signaled they want a clearer justification for the spending, particularly as debate continues over the costs and consequences of the Iran conflict. Read more

How Can This Happen in America?
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, June 18, 2026
How can this happen in America? Maine District Court Judge Jennifer Nofsinger issued a ruling that effectively prevented a young girl from attending church, reading the Bible with her mother, participating in Christian activities, celebrating certain Christian observances, and maintaining relationships with church friends. The case arose from a custody dispute between divorced parents, but the implications reach far beyond one family. The First Amendment to the Constitution plainly states that government shall make no law prohibiting the free exercise of religion. Yet here we are in 2026, watching a court order place significant restrictions on a child's exposure to Christianity while the case works its way through the appeals process.
Judge Nofsinger accepted testimony that participation in the church attended by the girl's mother could cause psychological harm to the child. She ruled that the girl’s father had authority over the child's religious upbringing and sharply limited the mother's ability to involve her daughter in church life. The mother has appealed, arguing that the order violates both parental rights and religious freedom protections. Religious liberty advocates from across the nation have rallied behind the case because they see something much larger at stake. When a court begins determining whether Bible reading, church attendance, Christian fellowship, or participation in religious activities is acceptable, it calls into question whether the court has crossed a constitutional red line. This case should concern every American, regardless of religious affiliation. Read More

Gavin Newsom's $30 Million Fortune Faces DOJ Scrutiny
|
|
|
California Governor Gavin Newsom has long positioned himself as a champion of the working class, yet the sudden spotlight on his family’s substantial wealth reveals a different story—one of inherited connections, lucrative business ties, and nonprofit arrangements that blur the lines between public service and private gain.
As the Department of Justice probes allegations involving Newsom, his wife Jennifer Siebel Newsom, and their associates, questions about transparency and accountability in one of America’s most powerful statehouses grow louder. Far from a mere political distraction, this examination exposes how personal fortunes can thrive amid policies that burden everyday Californians with high taxes, homelessness, and economic strain.
Newsom’s estimated $30 million net worth dwarfs his gubernatorial salary. Much of it traces back to his early hospitality ventures, particularly PlumpJack, launched with backing from the Getty family—an elite dynasty whose influence shaped his path from San Francisco mayor to state leader. His father’s trusted role with Gordon Getty, including handling ransom negotiations decades ago, opened doors that few others could access.

You, O Lord, that we are, indeed, one nation under God -- a nation that seeks to know You and to follow You daily, in all of our ways. Amen and amen.

Hegseth announces 6-month review of American forces in Europe,

Review outcome will depend on how quickly European nations act to support themselves militarily, Hegseth said
|

War Secretary Pete Hegseth had harsh words for NATO allies during an address to his European counterparts on Thursday, announcing a six-month review of U.S. force deployment on the continent.
Hegseth said the review's outcome will depend on how quickly European nations act to support themselves militarily.
"This will be a real review. It will be designed to ensure that NATO is moving fast and irreversibly toward Europe leading, stepping up to take primary responsibility for the defense of Europe," he told NATO officials in Brussels.
Hegseth also lashed out at European countries for refusing to assist U.S. forces in the war against Iran, particularly those that withheld use of military bases. (Fox News) Read more

BEIRUT/JERUSALEM/LONDON (Reuters) - Three Saudi-flagged supertankers carrying 6 million barrels of crude sailed through the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday, hours after U.S. President Donald Trump signed a deal with Iran to end the war that has disrupted global energy supplies.
But in Lebanon, where more than a million people are displaced by the fighting, Israeli forces launched fresh airstrikes on Thursday morning, raising doubt about how far Trump will go to force his wartime allies to halt an offensive he has now pledged to end.
Trump put his signature on Wednesday on the "memorandum of understanding" to end the war, as did Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian, bringing it into effect two days earlier than previously expected. It calls for the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz and lifting of a U.S. blockade of Iran's ports.
Though shippers say it will still take time for transit across the strait to reach pre-war levels, with a need yet to ensure safe access and clear mines, there were immediate signs of an impact.
Ships which once might have concealed their positions by switching off their transponders were now broadcasting their locations, poised to transit the strait.
Benchmark Brent crude futures prices fell by another 2% to below $78 a barrel, lowest since the shooting began.
The U.S.-Iranian memorandum starts the clock on a 60-day negotiation period to reach a final settlement to the war, which Trump launched in February alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
But Israel, which launched an invasion in March and has since seized a large swathe of southern Lebanon in its pursuit of Hezbollah militants who opened fire across the border in support of Iran, was excluded from the negotiations. (The Washington Stand)

Father God, while we continue to rejoice at President Trump's breakthrough in opening the Strait of Hormuz so that our oil can flow again, we continue to "stand in the gap", repenting of his recent actions that do not honor Israel. Forgive him, O Lord, we pray, in the name of Yeshua, amen.
> > > Please pray in the Spirit over this news. Thank you.
"Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." (Romans 8:26)

'Pure hell' in Moscow as Ukrainian drones strike major refinery supplying capital's fuel market

Machine-gunners were deployed around Red Square and flights suspended as 16 people were reported injured across the region

Ukraine launched one of its largest drone attacks on Moscow since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, striking a major oil refinery in the Russian capital and sending thick black smoke over parts of the city, according to Russian officials and multiple reports.
The Moscow Oil Refinery in the Kapotnya district — one of the capital region’s key fuel facilities — was hit overnight Thursday, marking the second reported strike on the site in three days. Videos circulating online showed large flames and black smoke rising from the facility, while Russian officials said air defenses intercepted waves of incoming drones.
Kyiv says its strikes deep inside Russia are evidence that it is turning the tide of the war — a message President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took this week to President Donald Trump and other G7 leaders at a summit in France.
The latest strikes underscore a new phase of the war, with Ukraine increasingly able to hit high-value targets deep inside Russia while Moscow struggles to prevent drones from reaching politically sensitive and economically important sites near the capital.
"This is pure hell, I’ve never felt such terror," one Moscow resident said after the attack, according to East2West News.
Another resident, according to the outlet, asked: "Why won’t this madman stop his crazy and pointless war and end the death and destruction?"
East2West news agency also reported that a heavy security presence was deployed around the Kremlin, with Red Square sealed off and machine-gunners positioned on towers, ramparts and near Bolsheviks' founder Vladimir Lenin’s Mausoleum.
The attack disrupted daily life across Moscow, forcing temporary flight suspensions at major airports and traffic restrictions near the refinery. Russian officials said debris also fell near the Sadovod shopping center, damaging a building. The Moscow region governor said 16 people were injured in the broader attack. (Fox News) Go here.

Father God, ever since this war began, we have prayed daily for it to end. We say that the time has now come for that to happen. We are grateful that, miraculously, no one was killed in this attack. We ask, Lord, for an end to this war and to the hostilities between Russia and Ukraine. We ask for a miracle!

Ancient Viking sword discovered 'sticking up out of the ground' after 1,300 years
|
|
|
A 1,300-year-old Viking sword was recently uncovered by an unlikely group of individuals: a class of first-grade children.
The 8th-century weapon was found in a field near the village of Brandbu, Norway, about 40 miles northwest of Oslo, in late April.
Viking Age swords are "relatively rare" finds, said Øystein Lia, an archaeologist and senior adviser with Innlandet County's Cultural Heritage department.
Lia told Fox News Digital that the Innlandet region receives approximately one Viking sword discovery every two years.
Though the sword owner's identity is lost to time, Lia said that the weapon "belonged to someone of high status within Viking Age society."
"It was most likely owned by a man, a free landholding individual and a significant warrior," he said.
"He may also have served as a military advisor to a local Viking chieftain." (Fox News) Read More

"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
