ICE Arrests More Than 10K Gang Members
|
|
|
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested more than 10,000 gang members during President Trump’s second term. “Under President Trump’s leadership, ICE has arrested more than 10,000 gang members,” said DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin. “Many of these gang members were released into our country by Joe Biden. These vicious criminals murdered, assaulted, robbed, and terrorized innocent Americans for sport. Thanks to the Secure America Act, ICE is turbocharged to arrest even more gang members and criminals from American neighborhoods.”
The individuals arrested have committed crimes such as murder, assault with a deadly weapon, drug trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, robbery, and extortion. The 10,000th gang member arrested was MS-13 member Javier Hernandez Rosas, whose convictions include cocaine possession and previous arrests for abduction and possession of a weapon. Earlier this month, DHS added 5,000 people to its “Worst of the Worst” website, a database providing details on criminal illegal immigrants arrested across the nation. We are grateful for President Trump and his promise to make our nation safe again. We pray a protective covering over each agent as they perform raids and arrests among neighborhoods. Bless Donald John Trump for securing a Bill that will fund ICE and Border Patrol for the duration of his Presidency. Shine a light on all that needs to be removed from our nation, so that the United States of America may once again have safe neighborhoods and secure borders! In the Name of Jesus -we pray- Amen.

Federal Judge Blocks Trump From Implementing Proof of Citizenship Requirement to Vote

The ruling converts a preliminary injunction that the judge had issued a year ago into a permanent ban.
A federal judge has blocked the Trump administration from enforcing part of an executive order he signed last year that would require proof of citizenship to vote in elections.
In an order issued on June 24, Judge Denise J. Casper of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts wrote that federal law and the Constitution do not give power to a president to manage elections.
“Our Constitution vests control over federal elections in the States, subject to some oversight by Congress,” Casper wrote in the order. “While the Constitution vests the President with ‘executive power’ and commands him to ‘take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed,’ it does not grant the President any specific powers over elections.”
The ruling by Casper effectively converts a preliminary injunction that she had issued a year ago, in which she temporarily blocked many of President Donald Trump’s efforts to overhaul elections, into a permanent ban. Read more (The Epoch Times) |

Hormuz Exodus Begins: Ships Finally Sailing as UN-Led Evacuation Corridor Opens

Several vessels have already navigated the Strait of Hormuz utilizing a fresh evacuation framework established by the United Nations' shipping agency, an official confirmed on Wednesday. More via newswires:
US Energy Secretary Wright says roughly 72 ships have exited Strait of Hormuz in last 24 hours.
"Ships have already begun to pass under the plan," stated a spokesperson for the UN's International Maritime Organization (IMO), though they opted not to disclose specific details regarding the transiting vessels.
According to the latest LSEG ship-tracking data Wednesday, at least two dry bulk carriers and one cargo vessel successfully crossed the strait under the new program within a 12-hour window.
An additional analysis of ship movements by Reuters, utilizing data from LSEG and MarineTraffic, indicated that at least 35 other commercial vessels - primarily dry bulk, cargo, and container ships - are gearing up to make the passage. Read more (ZeroHedge) |

Price tag of Iran War Becomes New Flashpoint in US Debate Over Israel

As criticism of Israel continues to grow across the American political spectrum, opponents of both Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Donald Trump have found a new line of attack: the staggering financial cost of the war with Iran.
With midterm congressional elections looming in November, critics argue that the conflict failed to leave the United States, Israel, America’s Gulf Arab allies, or the broader Middle East in a better position than before the fighting began.
Now, estimates of the war’s economic toll are adding fuel to an already heated debate over America’s support for Israel and its role in the conflict.
The Wall Street Journal reported last Thursday that the U.S. Department of Defense is telling lawmakers on Capitol Hill that it will need $80 billion to cover costs associated with the conflict.
This comes on top of estimates by Moody’s Analytics, the New York-based credit ratings agency, that the war has cost the U.S. economy around $132 billion through higher prices for refined petroleum products, particularly gasoline, as well as fertilizer and other goods.
The $80 billion supplemental funding request has not been confirmed by the White House or the Pentagon. If validated, however, it would represent a dramatic increase from the $25 billion figure the Pentagon estimated in April would be needed to pay for the war.

Exodus Parallel of The Pharaoh Regime
If you read in Exodus chapter 7 through chapter 12, almost every time there was a major plague, Moses would come to Pharaoh, and Pharaoh would say something like, “If you will pray and it stops, then I will let the people go and they will worship.” And then Moses would pray, the plague would be stopped, and Pharaoh would not keep his word. Another time Pharaoh would say, “Well, I’ll let you go, but only the men.”
Or another time he would negotiate and say, “I will let you go plus the women and children, but not your livestock.” Just thing after thing. So, there was like a series of negotiations that were going on with Pharaoh.
The Hardened Heart of The Pharaoh Regime
Each time he would read the Bible says he would harden his heart, and then it says God would harden his heart. God only hardened his heart because Pharaoh hardened his own heart. Each time he was deceitful, each time he did not keep his word, and each time he was still oppressing the people.
He made it even more oppressive at one point, forcing them to add straw into the mud with the bricks they were making, which was very difficult for the people who were so oppressed.
But in the end, God alone got the glory. Amen.
So, we have been praying that God will bring down the Pharaoh evil regime in Iran in such a way that only He, the Lord God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, will get the glory for what He’s done.
He’s been very patient. We see there are all kinds of negotiations and promises and deals, but I believe we are to pray that the Lord will expose Pharaoh’s heart.
Each time that he’s being deceitful, it will be quickly exposed, so that it won’t drag out long enough for the evil regime to rebuild their military system and other things that they would do, and funnel lots of money into their proxies to prolong this.Read more (Succat Hallel)

1. IDF withdrawing from parts of southern Lebanon, says US State Department

A US State Department official said Thursday that Israel had withdrawn from part of the security zone it has held in southern Lebanon since the war with Hezbollah, but Israeli and Lebanese officials denied that any such pullback had taken place.
The claim came as Israeli and Lebanese representatives held US-mediated talks in Washington over a possible phased transfer of some territory in southern Lebanon to the Lebanese Armed Forces.
The discussions are part of a broader American effort to stabilize the border, reduce Hezbollah’s freedom of operation and create conditions for displaced civilians on both sides to return home. (Read more)

2. Israel, Lebanon deny claim of partial IDF withdrawal from Southern Lebanon - JNS
Jerusalem and Beirut on Thursday denied a report that the Israel Defense Forces had withdrawn from an area in Southern Lebanon as a goodwill gesture to the Lebanese government ahead of negotiations.
The denials came in response to a request for comment from Reuters, after an anonymous U.S. State Department official told the news service that “Israel has already taken a concrete step by pulling back from a part of its buffer zone. This is a significant demonstration of good faith toward Lebanon’s legitimate government.”
The Lebanese Armed Forces “should now move in and verifiably clear out terrorist weapons and infrastructure. This model will be repeated across South Lebanon, enabling the safe return of displaced families, reconstruction of the south, and the restoration of full Lebanese sovereignty,” the official added, according to the report. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar is expected to bring a highly explosive resolution to the next cabinet meeting under which the State of Israel would officially recognize the genocide committed against the Armenian people in the final years of the Ottoman Empire. The resolution states that, based on a moral and historical obligation, any attempt to deny, minimize or distort the historical truth regarding these events must be condemned. The move comes amid tense days with Turkey, as Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan escalates his rhetoric and even threatens Israel. Just last night, US President Donald Trump, who is expected to meet Erdogan soon, said the Turkish president had been a candidate to join the war on Iran's side, but that he had "stopped him."
The explanatory notes to the proposal detail the grim sequence of events that began in April 1915, with the arrest and killing of hundreds of Armenian intellectuals and leaders in Constantinople. After eliminating the leadership, the Ottoman authorities turned to the systematic destruction of the population. Men were conscripted into forced labor and murdered, while women, children and the elderly were expelled from their homes and sent on long death marches toward the Syrian desert. During these marches, the deportees were subjected to mass murder, rape, deliberate starvation and thirst, leading to the deaths of some 1.5 million people and the destruction of a cultural and historical heritage thousands of years old across Anatolia.
Sa'ar's proposal directly attacks Turkey's policy, stating that despite extensive and unequivocal historical documentation, the Armenian genocide remains the subject of an institutionalized campaign of denial and minimization to this day, including the manipulative rewriting of history books, primarily by the government in Ankara. 3. DOJ Announces 455 Defendants Charged in $6.5 Billion Health Care Fraud Crackdown – ZeroHedge
The Justice Department (DOJ) announced Tuesday that federal authorities have charged 455 defendants in a nationwide health care fraud operation involving an estimated $6.5 billion in false claims against government-funded health care programs.
The cases are part of the department's annual National Health Care Fraud Takedown, which targeted alleged schemes involving Medicare, Medicaid and other taxpayer-funded health care programs.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said during a news conference at Justice Department headquarters that the operation uncovered the second-largest dollar amount ever charged in a single health care fraud enforcement action. Federal officials alleged that defendants participated in a range of schemes, including fraudulent billing practices, kickback arrangements and the provision of unnecessary medical services in an effort to improperly obtain government health care funds.

4. Ethnic studies a ‘gateway’ to Jew-hatred, California superintendent candidate says – JNS News
“We don’t need it. We need to teach real, honest history,” Sonja Shaw, school board president of Chino Valley Unified School District, told JNS.
Shaw told JNS that she decided to run for superintendent of public instruction this election cycle at the urging of Bill Essayli, who at the time was a Republican member of the state Assembly and is now the first assistant U.S. attorney for the Central District of California.
She had been “hitting walls” during her tenure as school board president, because “we kept getting attacked by the state,” Shaw told JNS.
“The state keeps attacking us for something that we’re doing best,” she said. “We don’t have all these culture issue wars in our district, and when we do have those, we shut them down very quickly.”
Shaw believes that ethnic studies is a “gateway” to divisive ideologies like antisemitism and gender ideology and that it should be cut altogether.
“We don’t need it,” she told JNS. “We need to teach real, honest history, real honest things about how we did things wrong, the horrifying things of the Holocaust, exactly what we do in Chino Valley. That needs to be in every curriculum across California.”

5. Washington Post Investigates AI Bias, Finds Every Major Chatbot Is Liberal – Including Musk's Grok – Western Journal
If users were to ask their friendly local chatbots how biased they are, an accurate answer would say “a lot.” The Washington Post tested several chatbots and found that bias is rampant, with liberal bias ruling the roost.
ChatGPT, for example, offered left-leaning answers 80 percent of the time and right-leaning ones 3 percent of the time. Google’s Gemini provided balanced answers, including both conservative and liberal positions 93 percent of the time and left-leaning ones the other 7 percent.
Anthropic had 57 percent of its responses showing balance and 43 percent leaning left. Neither Google nor Anthropic had any right-leaning answers. Grok, developed by Elon Musk’s X and now under the umbrella of SpaceX, offered left-leaning answers 40 percent of the time. However, Grok had 33 percent of its answers giving a right-leaning response.

6. US Border Patrol Sets All-Time Record with 21,000 Agents Serving - The Epoch Times
Incentives of up to $60,000 are given to new hires at select locations.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported 21,471 Border Patrol agents are currently serving on the front lines, the highest employee count in the 102-year history of the agency.
“Investments made possible through the One Big Beautiful Bill Act have fueled increased applicant interest and enabled CBP to attract top talent, including veterans and military family members,” CBP said in a June 24 statement. “By offering Veterans’ Preference, expedited hiring authorities, and a variety of recruitment incentives, CBP provides multiple pathways to help veterans transition into rewarding federal careers.”
CBP said it was offering competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, and significant hiring incentives of up to $60,000 for new hires to Border Patrol posts at select locations.

When Voters Stop Believing Their Votes Matter

Free and fair elections are the foundation of the Republic. When citizens believe their vote counts, government has consent. When they believe the system is rigged, trust cracks like dry California clay. California is now Exhibit A. The US Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles says it has opened multiple election fraud investigations, while state officials insist long vote counts are normal under universal mail voting, ballot curing, and late-arriving ballots. But when counting drags on for days and weeks, and leads shift in the shadows of bureaucracy, the public has every right to ask hard questions. Transparency is not a partisan demand. It is the price of legitimacy. Otherwise, California looks like a third world dictatorship. Not legitimate.
California’s election system already strains confidence because it prioritizes access over speed and certainty. Every registered voter receives a mail ballot. Ballots postmarked by Election Day can arrive later. Voters can fix signature problems after the election. Officials say those rules protect voters. Critics say they create a wide-open window for mischief. First Assistant US Attorney Bill Essayli says investigators are looking into suspected fraud and expects charges. That does not prove a grand conspiracy, but it does prove the issue deserves sunlight, not sneers. A clean election system should welcome audits, voter-roll checks, and prosecution of fraud wherever it is found. Honest scales never fear inspection. Read More

With the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States approaching and the nationwide celebration on July 4th, there is much to be thankful for how the Lord has blessed America. Let us praise the Lord on our watch and keep our post faithfully during this special time, especially as summer break approaches for many. At the same time, let us humbly confess our nation's historical and ongoing sins, asking for God's mercy, forgiveness, and healing where we have failed. Pray with Colossians 4:2 (ESV), “Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving,” for the United States, New York City and your own city—asking the Lord for protection and safety for its leaders and people.

Trump Cancels Signing Ceremony for Housing Bill Until Senate Passes SAVE America Act

President Donald Trump canceled a scheduled signing ceremony of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act at the Capitol on Wednesday until the Senate passes the SAVE America Act.
Trump was scheduled to sign the housing bill into law at 1:00 p.m. ET, but announced in a Truth Social post on Wednesday morning that he would be canceling the ceremony.
“Today’s Housing News Conference and Signing is hereby cancelled until such time as we pass the desperately needed SAVE AMERICA ACT, which I consider to be a National Emergency. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” he wrote.
The legislation, championed by Sen Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), passed the Senate 89-10 and the House of Representatives 358-32, would ban institutional investors from buying single-family homes.
While Trump is supportive of the bill and whipped the House on voting for it after it was passed by the Senate, he is now holding off on signing it into law in a move to leverage the advancement of the SAVE America Act.
The SAVE America Act focuses on securing elections, including measures that would require proof of citizenship when Americans register to vote, implement voter ID, and allow mail-in voting only for exceptions such as illness, disability, travel, and military service. It would also make transgender surgeries illegal and ban men from participating in women’s athletics, codifying issues Trump has addressed through the executive branch.

President Donald Trump said late Wednesday that two powerful earthquakes that struck Venezuela had caused what he described as "a devastating number of deaths" as officials continued assessing the extent of the disaster.
Venezuela's acting President Delcy Rodríguez later said at least 164 people were killed and more than 971 were injured in the earthquakes.
Trump's comments came after back-to-back earthquakes rocked Venezuela earlier Wednesday, causing widespread damage, including in the capital of Caracas, where buildings were damaged, and rescue crews searched through rubble.
In a Truth Social post, Trump said the pair of "massive" earthquakes had caused widespread devastation.

"The two major earthquakes that just hit the great people of Venezuela are both massive in scale and have left a devastating number of deaths," Trump wrote.
Trump said the United States was prepared to assist with the ongoing response.

Lord God, first of all we grieve for those families who have lost loved ones in these quakes, and we ask that You would rest Your hand upon the survivors for healing. We thank You that the United States stands ready now to help, as needed, and we ask that, as supplies are airlifted to that nation, help would then come quickly. Let there also be smooth coordination in these rescue efforts between these two nations, in Your Name, Abba, amen and amen!

Trump: America's 250th Anniversary Is a 'Time to Be Proud of Our Past'

President Donald Trump highlighted how America’s 250th anniversary was “a time to be proud” of the nation’s past, along with a time to “expand our ambitions, and raise our expectations of what America can be.”
While speaking at a kick-off celebration for the Great American State Fair on Wednesday, an event organized by Freedom 250, Trump highlighted how “the great civilizations of history did not wallow in aging ruins of the past.” Trump also vowed that future generations of Americans would be left “nothing less than the richest inheritance,” and the “most advanced civilization.”
“From Athens to Rome, from London to Paris, from New York to LA, and from all other parts of the world, the great civilizations of history did not wallow in aging ruins of the past; they built new cities, they created new monuments, and they forged towering legacies that still inspire the world after hundreds and even thousands of years,” Trump said.
Trump continued to highlight how as the United States was preparing to turn 250-years-old, it was still “young by comparison to some, but superior to any nation that’s ever been built.”
Trump added that the U.S. was the one to carry “forward the light of Western civilization.”
“This anniversary is a time to be proud of our past, but it is also a time to lift our sights, expand our ambitions, and raise our expectations of what America can be,” Trump continued. “We will leave our children nothing less than the richest inheritance, most advanced civilization, and highest standard of living in human history.”
In April, Freedom 250 announced that the Great American State Fair would be held on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. from June 25 to July 10.
Breitbart News’s Nick Gilbertson reported at the time that the Great American State Fair would feature “a unique event every day” and that “all of the U.S. states and territories” would be represented.
On Sunday, Freedom 250 shared a photo on X of the Freedom 250 Ferris wheel that was “coming together” on the National Mall for the event.
Some of the daily themes for the Great American State Fair consist of “The American Canon: Opening Day,” “Military & Veterans Appreciation Day,” and “Everyday Health and Well Being | MAHA Monday,” among others, according to the Freedom 250 website. (Breitbart) Read more here.

Father God, we praise You that we have now come to the time to celebrate 250 years of FREEDOM in America! The many events that will take place, all across our nation, in addition to the 4th of July itself, will serve as a reminder that we ARE "one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all!"
As we celebrate our freedom all during next week, let us do so not only in the spirit of celebration, but with deep humility of the treasure YOU have given us: the United States of America. Praise God!

A sixth grader uncovered a rare gemstone at a biblical site linked to Jesus' ministry, a find that sheds light on life in ancient Galilee.
The discovery, announced by the Israel Nature and Parks Authority (INPA) in early June, was made at Korazim National Park near the Sea of Galilee.
Identified with the biblical village of Chorazin, Korazim is mentioned in the New Testament as a place where residents witnessed Jesus' miracles but failed to repent.
Korazim also sits roughly two miles north of Capernaum, the ancient fishing village that served as the center of Jesus' ministry.
Pictures of the gemstone, which dates to the sixth century A.D., show its small size and striking pale-blue center.
The gemstone was found by Alon Horowitz, a 12-year-old student at the Ramat Korazim Regional Elementary School near Elifelet.
The sixth grader was taking part in a community excavation program that allows local students to work alongside archaeologists and learn about ancient life, organized by the INPA in partnership with Ariel University.
Horowitz told officials he found the gemstone just minutes before the dig wrapped up. (Fox News) Read More
