Ken Paxton credits God with delivering him from legal battles:

'The Bible is full of those stories'

WASHINGTON — Texas Attorney General and Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ken Paxton told the crowd gathered Saturday on the last day of the Faith & Freedom Coalition's Road to Majority Conference that he believes God delivered him from the legal obstacles he has faced in recent years.

"There's a greater power, and I'm not here because of some great thing I did. I'm here because God delivered me," Paxton said to an enthusiastic Evangelical audience at the Washington Hilton, a day after President Donald Trump delivered remarks there.

"The Bible is full of those stories about all kinds of people, and none of them are particularly perfect — whether you talk about Peter or Paul or David, the story is about what God did, not what they did. All they did was trust and believe, and that's the message: that my life is an example of that," he said.

Paxton recounted the trajectory of his political career since first becoming Texas attorney general in 2015, noting that his plentiful and largely successful efforts to sue both the Obama and Biden administrations were an attempt "to control an out-of-control executive branch."

Paxton said after former President Barack Obama lost control of Congress in the 2014 midterm elections, he "decided that he wasn't going to work with Congress anymore, unlike other presidents who understood the Constitution."

"He decided that he was going to make his own laws through executive orders, through guidance letters, through actions of agencies, and also ignore the 10th Amendment, which said that the federal government only had those powers that were granted to them, and that the rest were retained by the states," he continued, drawing applause when he noted his office "sued Barack Obama 27 times in 22 months, won about 80 percent of those cases."

The Biden administration echoed Obama's tactics on a larger scale, said Paxton, who claimed they were "even more aggressive" in their lawlessness and effectively opened the border to the drug cartels. (Christian Post) Read more here.

Father God, we celebrate those placed in governmental leadership who boldly give Glory to God through their testimonies.  We are grateful for the platform given to our Christian brothers and sisters who are using their influence to speak without shame about biblical truths. We pray You would empower their words to be used according to Your holy plans and purposes, for right alignment of both our government and nation. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, we pray- Amen.

US strikes Iran after attack on cargo ship; Vance vows ‘violence will be met with violence’

The US struck Iran on Friday in response to a drone attack a day earlier on a cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz. The confrontation marked the most significant test yet to an interim understanding reached a week ago by the two countries to begin working to end their months-long war and reopen the pivotal waterway.

US President Donald Trump said the drone attack violated the ceasefire. The strikes came shortly after Trump told reporters, “You’ll find out,” whether the US would respond.

US Central Command said the military struck missile and drone locations and coastal radar sites in Iran.

“I don’t like the fact that they took a shot yesterday, actually four of them,” Trump said at the White House shortly before the US struck back. When asked why there would be strikes when Trump has insisted talks with Tehran are going well, Trump said of Iran: “They’re a little bit different.”

He then abruptly cut off questions, and reporters were ushered out of his office. (The Times of Israel) Read more here.

We pray that this evil alliance and the spirit of control would crumble, and that their plans would be confused, in Jesus' name. We pray a hedge of protection over our nation, and those fighting for our freedom, that no harm or evil will prosper against us, in Jesus' name, amen.

“The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.” (Deuteronomy 28:7)

US, Iran Signal They Won’t Back Down Over Strait of Hormuz Control
Multiple strikes were carried out by both the U.S. and Iranian militaries over the weekend.

Both Iranian and American officials have refused to back down over control of the Strait of Hormuz after both countries launched fresh strikes on June 27 and early on June 28, potentially scrapping a ceasefire agreement and memorandum of understanding between the two parties to end hostilities.

On June 28, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that Iran is the sole country that bears responsibility for opening the strait, which was reopened earlier in June under the memorandum, and claimed that no other country can interfere in the country’s mission, according to state-run media.

The Iranian regime was blamed for a strike on a ship in the region, prompting the U.S. military to respond this weekend by striking Iranian sites. In turn, Tehran launched attacks against Bahrain and Kuwait, two small Middle Eastern oil-rich countries located near Iran.

“Based on the memorandum of understanding, the Strait of Hormuz, under the management that Iran will adopt, will return to its pre-war capacity within 30 days, after the obstacles are removed by the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Araghchi said on June 28, according to comments carried by the semiofficial Islamic Republic News Agency.

“I ask all parties not to interfere in the issue of managing the Strait of Hormuz ... and not to allow this memorandum of understanding to deviate from its course,” he said.

The Trump administration has said that Iran cannot impose controls on the strait, including fees or fines. Under the text of the memorandum that was released earlier in June, the strait must be reopened after Iran threatened or attacked ships in the waterway, a key choke point that carries roughly one-fifth of the world’s traded oil on a normal day.

Father God, we loose your peace over that region and say peace be still, in Jesus' name. We come against war, strife, divisions and oppression in the spirit right now, that it will not come to fruition in Jesus' name. And we pray this evil would continue to be exposed. Amen.

The FBI Deputy Director Just Warned Something Is Coming and It Scares Him More Than 9/11

Eleven days ago, a teenager from Ohio nearly bombed the White House UFC event with explosive drones. Now the FBI's second-in-command is telling America that was just a preview. FBI Deputy Director Chris Raia just told Fox News Digital this is only a matter of time.

The Threat That Keeps FBI Up at Night

Raia's exact words deserve to sink in.

"I think the biggest threat right now, kind of the five-yard target, if you will, is going to be that threat from a drone," he said.

He's not talking about the kind of drone plot you might picture – some lone eccentric with a hobbyist quadcopter. He's talking about the next generation of drone warfare that American soldiers have been watching shred Russian armored columns in Ukraine.

The difference between what happened on European battlefields and what could happen in your city comes down to a single technological shift: cellular networks.Today's commercial drones rely on short-range radio frequency links. The operator has to stay close. That limit is disappearing.

When China Can Fly a Drone Over New Orleans

The scenario Raia described to Fox News is not theoretical.

"That means somebody in China can control a drone over New Orleans," he said.

In June 2025, Ukraine launched more than 100 explosive-payload drones against five Russian airfields deep inside Russia – guided by operators sitting in Ukraine, transmitting through Russia's own 4G cellular networks.

The drones hit their targets.

The technology that made it possible is commercially available right now. (Right News Wire) Read more here.

Father God, we ask that You protect our nation, and that you cover all men and women who are currently serving and who will serve us in the future from any harm or any evil. We push back all harm and evil trying to come against us, in Jesus' name.  Help our leaders to be bold and defend our nation at all costs, especially here at home, in Jesus' name, amen.

Rare American Bible and founders’ letters trace faith’s role in birth of the nation
The D.C. exhibit features a Jefferson letter on religious freedom and family Bibles owned by Founding Fathers

A rare collection of original letters, family Bibles and founding-era artifacts is offering new insight into the role Scripture played during the nation's founding.

The artifacts are on display at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., where a new collection marking America's 250th anniversary examines how Scripture influenced the country's earliest years through original documents and historical objects.

Among the featured items are the first Bible printed in English in America, family Bibles belonging to several founding fathers and other prominent Americans, and an original Thomas Jefferson letter on religious freedom.

Together, the documents trace how biblical language appeared throughout the founding era, influencing conversations about liberty, education and public life.

Anthony Schmidt, the museum's director of collections and curatorial, told Fox News Digital that the collection uses primary sources to examine the Bible's role in early American history.

"The Bible has been an integral part of this nation's founding and history," Schmidt said.

"That's not a theological claim; it's what the documents show. The founding fathers referenced Scripture, argued from it, and built political frameworks on its language about human dignity and liberty." (Fox News) Read More

Thank You, Lord, for this beautiful reminder of just how pivotal Your law, order, and grace were at the beginning of our nation and how Your Word helped to shape our nation. We pray our leaders never forget how blessed we’ve been because of You. Grant our leaders, O Lord, to continue to serve You in truth. Help us as Christians to remain vigilant and strong against all obstacles to Your Word and to Your laws. We ask this prayer in Jesus' Holy Name, amen and amen.

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Netanyahu: Israel takes Erdoğan’s threats ‘very seriously’ - JNS

Israel takes Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s repeated statements against the Jewish state “very seriously,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Sunday.

“Hardly a day goes by without Erdoğan calling for the destruction of the State of Israel,” Netanyahu said. “We take these words very seriously, because if we have learned one thing from the history of our people, it is that when someone says he intends to destroy you, take him seriously.”

He added that Israel would raise the issue with Washington. “We are not ignoring this,” the prime minister said. (Read more)

2. Netanyahu: ‘No room’ for Palestinian state between Mediterranean Sea and Jordan River - JNS

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Saturday that there is “no room for two states” between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River, arguing the war created broad public consensus against creating a Palestinian state.

“Before the war, the public was divided: although in my opinion most of the public was against it, a significant portion was in favor. I think that has changed,” Netanyahu told reporters, answering a question at a press conference in Jerusalem on Saturday night.

“That is a basis for agreement,” added the premier. “In my opinion, there is much more unity among the public than you see in the Knesset.” (Read more)

3. Israel-Lebanon security revealed: roadmap for Hezbollah disarmament and Israeli withdrawal - report - i24 News

A confidential security annex to the recently signed framework agreement between Israel and Lebanon was revealed on Monday, shedding new light on the roadmap for implementing the two countries' security commitments and the eventual withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon.

The document, was negotiated over four days alongside the political framework agreement signed in Washington last week. It establishes a phased mechanism for disarming Hezbollah and other armed groups, expanding the authority of the Lebanese state, and coordinating Israel's military redeployment.

Under the agreement, Israel and Lebanon will immediately establish an initial "pilot zone" south of the Litani River, with additional zones expected to follow. The implementation will proceed in four stages. (Read more)

4. Judges again call on prosecution to drop bribery charge from Netanyahu trial
- Times of Israel

The panel of judges overseeing the corruption trial of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated on Monday their suggestion that the prosecution drop the bribery charge against the premier, given that it will be difficult to prove and thus drag out the proceedings.

The judges made the same recommendation exactly three years ago for the same reason, but the prosecution declined to drop the charge. The court has since heard extensive testimony from Netanyahu on the allegations, none of which changed the recommendation. On Monday, the judges told the court that their recommendation from June 2023 “remains unchanged.”

During the hearing in the Jerusalem District Court on Monday about expanding sessions to five days a week in the long-running trial, chief defense attorney Amit Hadad suggested the judges were treating Netanyahu in a manner similar to Adolf Eichmann, a key architect of the Holocaust who was captured by the Mossad in Argentina in 1960, put on trial in Israel, convicted and executed. (Read more)

5. Middle East Trade Realignment Raises Concerns Over Israel’s Strategic Position
- Algemeiner

Israeli Transport Minister Miri Regev has warned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that a new wave of cross-border infrastructure projects in the Middle East is deliberately bypassing Israel and threatens to permanently erode the country’s strategic and economic standing, Channel 12 reported.

In a letter sent to Netanyahu two weeks ago, Regev cautioned that regional commercial initiatives are routing trade around Israel through new supply routes.

“We are witnessing the rapid formation of regional partnerships in the fields of trade and energy that are deliberately bypassing Israel and pose a tangible strategic threat to our national security,” Regev wrote.

The minister argued that economic strategy could prove as consequential as military deterrence. “The long-term consequences of trade strategy can determine the outcome of the struggle without the use of weapons,” she added. (Read more

1. Iran blocks ships in Hormuz, bars nuclear inspectors - Israel Hayom

Iran has maintained its defiant stance against Washington by blocking maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and continuing its refusal to allow nuclear inspectors to enter facilities targeted by recent bombings on its territory.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced to the Tasnim News Agency that three vessels "tried to conduct an unauthorized transit through the Strait of Hormuz," and IRGC vessels blocked them from doing so. The report added that the ships turned around and retraced their paths.

In Iran, officials responded on Friday to statements made by Rafael Grossi, the chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency, who declared that under the agreement with Iran, inspectors would be permitted to enter all nuclear facilities in the country. Iran will not allow UN nuclear inspectors to enter key sites like Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan before a final nuclear agreement is reached, the Fars News Agency reported on Friday, citing sources familiar with the contents of the memorandum of understanding between the US and Iran.

According to the sources quoted by Fars News Agency, the role of the IAEA is defined solely for the period following a final agreement. The report noted that Article 8 of the memorandum outlines one possible option for handling nuclear material as diluted within Iran under IAEA supervision, but only after four issues are resolved, which include the full removal of sanctions, the details of economic rehabilitation for Iran, the scope and framework of the withdrawal of US forces from the region, and the closure of the nuclear file. 2. Trump says Iran violated ceasefire with drone attacks on cargo ships in Strait of Hormuz - Washington Examiner

President Donald Trump warned Iran its shooting of four one-way attack drones at ships in the Strait of Hormuz was a “foolish violation” of the two countries’ memorandum of understanding.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran shot at least four One Way Attack Drones at Ships transversing the Strait of Hormuz,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Friday. “One of the Drones solidly hit the upper deck of a large and very expensive Cargo Carrying Ship. Damage was done, but the Ship was able to proceed on its way. We knocked down three other Drones. Obviously, this is a foolish violation of our Ceasefire Agreement.”

The free flow of commerce was one of the 14 points of understanding that the U.S. and the Iran reached last week as negotiations continue for the next 60 days on a new nuclear nonproliferation deal, including what happens to Tehran’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium.

A U.S. official confirmed to the Washington Examiner on Thursday that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had “struck” a cargo ship “with a drone.” The U.K. Maritime Trade Operations Centre first reported the attack Thursday afternoon, writing that “a cargo vessel has been hit on the starboard side by an unknown projectile, causing damage to the bridge,” but no casualties. Lord, we pray that Your peace will rule over this conflict. We pray it will be finally resolved. We pray that You will give President Trump Your strategy and insight, so that this war will finally come to an end.

3. Trump admin cracks down on estimated $10 billion in Obamacare fraud, boots millions from rolls - Fox News

EXCLUSIVE:
As part of an anti-fraud crackdown that spans the entirety of the federal government, the Trump administration's Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) uncovered millions of alleged fraudsters on the Affordable Care Act rolls, according to a report obtained by Fox News Digital.

A Biden-era spike in Obamacare enrollments led to a probe into the veracity of millions of claims, a Trump administration official confirmed. At the beginning of Biden's term, there were 10 million people enrolled in the government's healthcare program, but that number drastically skyrocketed to 22 million at its 2024 peak.

Now, the Trump administration has removed nearly three million of the fraudulent enrollees, with a planned 2.6 million left to go.

The administration official said the program's massive abuse equates to about $10 billion swindled from the American taxpayer between 2021 and 2024. (Read more)

Lord, thank You for this crackdown on Obamacare fraud. We praise You that these monies are now being recovered and that justice is reigning again.

4. Russia, Ukraine confirm exchange of 160 prisoners of war - Jerusalem Post

Official sources from both Russia and Ukraine have confirmed a prisoner exchange that took place on Friday, involving 160 prisoners of war from each side.

Russian state news agencies reported the exchange, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also confirmed the prison swap.

The Ukrainian POWs have been held since 2022, Zelensky added in a statement on the Telegram. (Read more)

5. Critical fire weather in Utah fuels largest blaze in the US - AP News

A fast-moving wildfire in Utah raced across the landscape overnight, fed by heat and dry wind and forcing more communities to evacuate, officials said Saturday.

Air tankers and helicopters were grounded Friday as winds picked up on the Cottonwood Fire, the largest blaze currently burning in the U.S. Gusts were clocked at 45 miles per hour (72 kph) and humidity levels were in the single digits, leaving crews with few options for slowing the flames, especially as they raced through the treetops.

Elsewhere in Utah, evacuations were ordered Friday for several small communities southwest of Salt Lake City, including in Eureka, with a population under 1,000, and the Vernon Reservoir area, officials said. Highways running through the area have been closed. (Read more)

We pray for Utah as this fire sweeps across their land. We pray this fire would
lose its momentum and not cause any more devastation.

The Daily Jot

From the Red Heifer to the Rising King

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, June 29, 2026

Numbers 19:1-22:1, Hukkat, and Numbers 22:2-25:9,  Balak,  move from mystery to confrontation and ultimately to promise. Hukkat opens with purification laws surrounding death then follows Israel through grief, rebellion, provision, and victory. We read of the red heifer, the deaths of Miriam and Aaron, Moses striking the rock, and the bronze serpent in the wilderness. Israel then defeats Sihon and Og and arrives across the Jordan from Jericho. Balak shifts the scene to fear among the nations. Moab sees Israel’s strength and hires Balaam to curse them. Yet every attempt turns into blessing and he is speaks of the coming Messiah. These chapters weave together death, judgment, and hope pointing forward to the Messiah.

The red heifer stands among Scripture’s deepest mysteries, a “chok” beyond human reasoning. Even Solomon admitted its meaning was beyond grasp. Ashes of a perfect, unblemished red cow, never yoked or used for work, were mixed with living water to purify those defiled by death. It purified the unclean while rendering the priest ceremonially unclean. Yet without it, no one could approach the Tabernacle. Tradition recalls only nine heifers in the Temple era. All were burned outside the camp, pointing beyond ritual to something greater. Hebrews 9 and 13 connect this directly to Yeshua (Jesus), who suffered outside the gate and offered Himself without blemish. In Him, purification moves from external ritual to internal cleansing, renewing the conscience and restoring access to the living God through Messiah alone. Read More

Secrets of Revolutionary War battlefields emerge 250 years after America's founding
Musket balls, dirt forts and soldiers' barracks are among the finds emerging from active excavations

Even though it's been nearly 250 years since the Continental Congress declared independence from Britain, the study of the American Revolution is far from over.

For decades, archaeologists have dug at Revolutionary War battlefields across the country, yielding fascinating artifacts.

From southern sites to northern battlefields, these places are still sharing secrets — and shedding new light on our country's founding.

As America celebrates its 250th, below are a few Revolutionary War battlefields that are still revealing new discoveries. (Fox News) Read more here.

Lord God,

As we celebrate America's 250th year of independence, our hearts are full of thankfulness for those who have gone before us to establish this wonderful freedom that the Revolutionary War established. We pray that with each new piece of evidence that the Archaeologists find will give us fresh insights into America's fight for independence.

As we pray, Lord, we are reminded that our freedom came with an enormous price and definitely was not free. As we remember that the American Patriots, under the leadership of General George Washington, defeated the British Army, we thank You, that freedom was given to us that day by Your hand and we humble ourselves as Geoge Washington did the day he bowed his knee and prayed to You at Valley Forge.

We pray that churches across America would echo the sounds of the Battle Hymn of the Republic as we celebrate 250 years of freedom on July fourth. Thank You, Lord, for America's freedom! Protect us, Father, from those who seek to do America harm. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen and Amen.

"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:36)
As Patriotism Declines, America’s 250th Calls a New Generation to Rediscover History, Faith, and Freedom

The summer of patriotism and America’s 250th birthday is more than a celebration of our history; it’s an opportunity to inspire a new generation of readers, thinkers, and leaders. Every page turned is a step toward understanding our shared heritage and building a stronger future. Featured books include various titles on the faith of our Founding Fathers by historian Jane Hampton Cook, “Battlefield and Blessings,” and “Why The Fourth of July.” Also featured is a Wall Street Journal bestselling author and bestselling book, “Honor Flight” by Jeff Gottesfeld.

America’s history is on display through the voices of yesterday and cannot be silenced or unwritten. These powerful writings provide historical accounts of the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, World War II, the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars, along with the testimonies of those who served in the face of the enemy to preserve the freedoms we still enjoy today.

These stories of adversity, told by our war veterans and patriots, ring the bell of freedom and liberty. Some extraordinary examples include authors Kim “KC” Campbell with “Flying in the Face of Fear,” and Becky Aikman with “Spitfires: The American Women Who Flew in the Face of Danger During World War II.”

The children’s featured stories also highlight Cortney Cino’s book for our military children, titled “Finally Home,” a powerful book for our military families who serve and the military child, providing young minds with an understanding of selfless service and the anticipation of a parent coming home from deployment.

These are just a few of the stories that magnify our resourceful nation and the nourishment and enrichment on which this country was founded: the endurance, resilience, and steadfastness of many generations who built this country.

This patriotic summer, as our nation gathers to celebrate its birth, let us come together in our communities to not only celebrate on the beaches, at picnics, and at fireworks displays, but also tell the stories of these voices who gave us the very freedom we have to utilize these historical resources to engage a new generation of leaders. Holy God,

Your Word tells us that we have the ability to call things into existence as if they already were, so today under Your authority we call forth patriotism among our younger generations. As we train our children to believe in Your word and the values of standing for what is righteous, we pray for divine guidance and boldness for our younger generations so that they will not depart from the truth!

We give You thanks, Lord, for all the authors of these wonderful books that teach patriotism and America's history. Transform our younger generations by the renewing of their minds so they will be fixed on You and they will be able to decipher the truth from the lies of the media. Grant our youth the boldness of David as they proclaim Your word and become harvesters for Your Kingdom!

As we gather together with our friends and family this Fourth of July to celebrate America's 250th anniversary, we pray that the 'Spirit of Freedom' will echo loud and clear for all the world to see that America belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ and that there are no other gods before Him! We decree and declare that where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom! Come, Holy Spirit and abide with us! Send angelic protection for all celebrations!

We humbly offer this prayer. In Jesus' name. Amen.

"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom."    (2 Corinthians 3:17)
Supreme Court rules on mail-in ballots received after Election Day
The court was split 5-4 on the ruling, with Justice Amy Coney Barrett writing the majority opinion

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday ruled in favor of a Mississippi law allowing mail-in ballots to be counted in elections even if they are received after Election Day.

The court was split 5-4 on the ruling, with Justice Amy Coney Barrett writing the majority opinion. She was joined by Chief Justice John Roberts, as well as justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Barrett's opinion held that Election Day, in the context of federal law, set a deadline for when voters must make a choice regarding their preferred candidate. Relevant laws, however, impose no standard for when ballots must be received to be considered valid.

"The electorate’s choice is made when voting is complete, not when ballots are received," she wrote. "Election-day statutes say nothing about ballot receipt, and we cannot add to the words Congress chose."

Justice Samuel Alito, writing his dissent, took a different view of what it means for the electorate to have made a choice.

"If ballots received after election day are added to the set of ballots that dictate the election’s outcome, the electorate’s choice does not occur on election day," he wrote. "The acceptance of these late-arriving ballots effectively postpones the date on which the electorate’s choice is made."

Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., meanwhile, called Barrett's opinion "shockingly wrong" and "terrible for election integrity."

During oral arguments for the case, Alito and Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who ultimately joined the dissent, voiced concerns that counting large quantities of ballots after Election Day could shake the public's trust in election results.

"If the apparent winner the morning after the election ends up losing due to late arriving ballots, charges of a rigged election could explode," Kavanaugh noted.

Referring to this possibility, Alito argued that "confidence in election outcomes can be seriously undermined" when large numbers of later-arriving ballots impact the results of elections.  (Fox News) Read more here.

Lord God, on this day when the Court finishes rendering its opinions for this judicial year, we ask that these opinions be honored by our citizens. We thank You, too, that any opinion that seems to be in error be, nevertheless, honored by our people. We thank You that any opinion that is rendered can always be challenged at a later date by a new legal challenge. We thank You, Abba God, that we are a nation under law, and not under chaos, in Your Name, amen and amen.

"Then he [Jehoshapht] set judges in the land throughout all the fortified cities of Judah, city by city, 6 and said to the judges, “Take heed to what you are doing, for you do not judge for man but for the Lord, who is with you in the judgment. 7 Now therefore, let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take care and do it, for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, no partiality, nor taking of bribes.”                              (2 Chronicles 19:5-7)
Samuel Alito Warns Mail-In-Ballot Ruling Leaves Giant Opening For Voter Fraud
Samuel Alito Warns Mail-In-Ballot Ruling Leaves Giant Opening For Voter Fraud

Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito warned Monday that the Court’s ruling on mail-in ballots opens the floodgates for potential voter fraud opportunities.

In a 5-4 decision authored by Trump-appointed Justice Amy Coney Barrett, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled Monday that federal law allows states to continue counting non-military mail-in ballots that arrive after Election Day. Alito wrote in his dissenting opinion that the decision “leaves open opportunities for voter fraud that may further undermine Americans’ faith in the integrity of this country’s elections.”

“Diverse sources have recognized that mail-in ballots increase the potential for fraud,” Alito added. “In 2005, a committee chaired by former President Jimmy Carter and former Secretary of State James Baker found that absentee voting was ‘the largest source of potential voter fraud’ in American elections.”

The conservative justice also referred to a case from 2008 in which the late Justice John Paul Stevens “recognized that the risk of voter fraud ‘perpetrated using absentee ballots’ is ‘real’ and ‘could affect the outcome of a close election.’”

Alito wrote further that the Supreme Court’s ruling opens up “Pandora’s box.”

“Given that fact, is a voter’s ‘selection’ truly ‘final’ when he or she puts a ballot in the mailbox?” his dissent continued. “The majority dodges this question, offering the passing suggestion that Mississippi’s statute would be preempted only insofar as it allows voters to recall their ballots.”

“May the Fifth Circuit hold as much on remand? Must state law expressly prohibit voters from using recall services? Do the Postal Service’s or FedEx’s mail-recall policies violate the election-day as applied to absentee ballots?” Alito added. “For state legislatures trying to understand what the election-day statutes allow, the majority’s decision opens Pandora’s box.”

Father God, on this week of the 4th of July, we honor Justice Alito for his forthright words, warning our nation of the danger of fraud in today's opinion rendered by the Supreme Court. We continue to lobby, in prayer, for another challenge that will reach the Court, rendering this one null and void. We ask, too, that You will send forth a host of angels who will work with the Secret Service to keep this precious and brave man safe in the days ahead.

Help us, O Lord, we pray, and keep our people safe from harm, amen and amen.!

"Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways."
(Psalm 91:9-11)
And Now . . . Lion of Judah: ROAR!!!!
"The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man;
He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies."

(Isaiah 42:13)

Heat dome to bring 90 to 100-degree temperatures to 200 million in US from late June to early July

Strong, severe heat wave forecast for major cities

A sprawling heat dome will unleash days of dangerous heat from the Midwest to the East, with RealFeel® Temperatures soaring above 110. New York, Philadelphia and Chicago are facing strong heat waves, according to the AccuWeather HeatWave Counter and Severity Index™.

A heat dome will develop, strengthen and grow in size over much of the central United States for an extended period through the Independence Day weekend. It will even expand into parts of the East for several days. At its full extent, dangerous conditions will affect more than two dozen states.

"The setup will deliver widespread highs in the 90s F with high humidity over a broad area of the Mississippi and Ohio valleys throughout this week," AccuWeather Meteorologist Alex Duffus said. "People who mind the heat will be very uncomfortable if they don't have air conditioning."

Chicago is forecast to reach 90 degrees Fahrenheit or higher for four to five consecutive days, while St. Louis could endure at least eight straight days in the 90s with highs approaching 100. Typical highs this time of year are in the mid-80s in Chicago and the upper 80s in St. Louis. (Accuweather) Read More

A Special Message
The Sinner's Prayer
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
