'Trump is a hero' — Expat Iranians celebrate attacks on regime

Hundreds of Iranian expatriates gathered outside the federal building in Los Angeles on Saturday, praising President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following the assassination of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, while criticizing left-wing politicians who have opposed the strikes on Iran.
Trump is considered a “hero” by many Iranians, said Mars, who was identified only by his first name. Born in Shiraz, Mars told the New York Post that Trump “will be remembered by Iranians the way that Jewish people remember Cyrus the Great, who freed the Jews.”
Amin, whose family fled Iran in 1979 following the revolution, said the current military operation should not be viewed as a traditional war but as a mission aimed at ending authoritarian Islamic rule in Iran, which has devastated the country economically and culturally.
“I think everybody should support what’s happening in Iran right now because it’s not a war,” Amin told the Post. “It’s saving humanity. It’s a war against terrorists in Iran.”
Benjamin Basre, a Tehran-born Jewish Iranian, urged lawmakers who have spoken out against the military campaign to listen to the Iranian diaspora, noting that more than 700,000 Iranians live in Southern California.“Those politicians? The Oil War Has Begun: U.S. and Iran Target Energy Lifelines

War has many fronts—land, air, sea, and cyberspace. But in the past 72 hours, the conflict between the United States and Iran appears to have opened a new and potentially more dangerous front: oil itself.
What began primarily as strikes on military bases, missile facilities, and command centers has shifted dramatically toward energy infrastructure. Oil depots, refineries, tanker routes, and export hubs are now being targeted across the Middle East. The message from both sides is clear: if you cannot defeat your enemy quickly on the battlefield, you can still damage them—and the world—through the price of energy.
The result is a rapidly escalating “oil for oil” war, where each side seeks to disrupt the other’s energy lifeline.

Important clarification regarding the strikes in Iran
It is very important to emphasize something that many people outside the region may not fully understand. Israel is not targeting Iran’s energy infrastructure - the refineries, the production facilities, or the systems that would be needed for the country’s future recovery.
Instead, the strikes are focused primarily on oil storage reservoirs that the regime uses to finance its war machine and sustain its military operations.
Why does this matter?
Because the goal is not to destroy Iran’s ability to function as a nation in the future. The goal is to deny the regime the financial lifeline it uses to fund terror, missiles, and regional aggression.
By targeting the regime’s accessible oil reserves - rather than the infrastructure itself - the pressure is placed directly on the ruling system, not on the long-term future of the Iranian people.
This distinction is extremely important.
One day, when the current regime is gone, Iran will still have the infrastructure it needs to rebuild and prosper. The prospect for a better future for the Iranian people must remain intact.
This war is not against the people of Iran.
It is against a regime that has brought suffering to its own people and instability to the entire region.

Father God, we give thanks that as we take down the Iranian regime, by Your power, we also work to preserve the infrastructure that the good citizens need to rebuild their lives and their livelihoods after this war. We ask supernatural protection for innocent civilians, Your underground church within Iran, and the resources that they will need to rebuild a nation and economy that is pleasing to You. May Your light shine mightily through Your church that millions in Iran would be drawn to Your love, mercy and salvation through Christ Jesus.
Pour out Your wisdom and knowledge to Israeli and U.S. leaders that they may know how best to accomplish their mission to remove the evil Iranian regime. Send Your strategies [Your ways are not our ways!] and angels to uncover the location of enemy munitions that still remain hidden and operable, and supernaturally reveal the plans of the regime for the days ahead.
We especially ask that You protect Your people and land, Israel, from all attacks. May any incoming missiles be taken out before causing harm, and may the illegal cluster bombs boomerang on Your enemies and stockpiles be destroyed.

Arab Allies Must Join Fight Against Iranian Regime Now, Sen. Lindsy Graham Tells All Israel News

The senior Senator from South Carolina is a strong and vocal supporter of America’s moderate Arab allies, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar.
But he is not cool with the notion of these allies staying quiet and working behind the scenes when American bases, American forces, and American civilians are coming under vicious and relentless attack by the Iranian regime.
It’s high time for the Arab nations to openly, clearly, and proudly join this American-led military campaign against Tehran, Graham told me.
Anything less is unacceptable, he added.

Omnipotent Lord of all, we humbly ask that You move upon the leaders of the Middle East that are considered our Allies to enter the fray. We totally agree with Senator Graham’s declaration: It’s high time for the Arab nations to openly, clearly, and proudly join this American-led military campaign against Tehran. Lord we believe that You are well able to convince these nations to do their part beyond protecting their own country’s infrastructure.
Lord, You see that our bases and other installations within the Middle East are being brutally attacked, and that Israel, especially, and the U.S. have lost military personnel and innocent civilians and sustained severe structural damage. We ask that You powerfully declare to the Allies what their part in this war should look like; warn them in dreams and visions, if need be. Growing Prophetic Expectation and Confusion Surrounds Middle East Conflict

|
War in the Middle East has always stirred more than geopolitical analysis. It awakens prophetic expectations and hope.
As the conflict between Iran and the United States alongside Israel intensifies, something striking is happening across the world's major faith communities. Islamic clerics are invoking the return of the Mahdi. Jewish rabbis are speaking openly about redemption and the coming of the Messiah. Some Christians are declaring that America or Donald Trump must play a specific role in the end times.
Prophetic expectation is rising everywhere -- but so is confusion.
For Christians who take the Bible seriously, moments like this demand both discernment and humility. Scripture does give us a prophetic framework for the future. But it also warns repeatedly about deception, speculation, and misplaced hope.
To understand the moment, it is worth examining what each major faith tradition is currently saying -- and how those interpretations compare with a careful reading of biblical prophecy.
Islamic Expectations: The Mahdi And Apocalyptic War
Within parts of Shiite Islam, especially in Iran, eschatology has always played a significant role in shaping worldview and politics.
Shiite theology anticipates the arrival of the Mahdi, a messianic figure who will appear during a time of global chaos, defeat Islam's enemies, and establish justice across the world. Some interpretations within the tradition view massive regional war and instability as precursors to his appearance.
In recent days, some Islamic voices have framed the escalating confrontation with Israel and the United States in apocalyptic terms -- portraying the conflict as part of a larger cosmic struggle between Islam and the West.
Jewish Expectations: Redemption And The Coming Messiah
Within parts of the Jewish world, the current conflict is also being viewed through a prophetic lens.
One example drawing attention recently is Rabbi Mendel Kessin, a prominent Torah scholar who recently argued in a widely circulated lecture that the unfolding confrontation with Iran fits within a long-anticipated pattern of Jewish redemption.
Some Jewish voices believe these events could accelerate the arrival of the long-awaited Messiah and usher in a new era for Israel.
Christians who love the Jewish people recognize something important in this perspective: the conviction that God is still actively guiding history and that Israel remains central in His redemptive plan.
Yet Christian prophecy also introduces a crucial warning.
According to the New Testament, the final phase of world history begins with the confirming of a covenant of peace, described in Daniel's prophecy of the seventy weeks. That agreement launches the final seven-year period often referred to as the Tribulation.

Thune to Bring SAVE Act to the Senate Floor Next Week
|

|
Senate Majority Leader John Thune said Tuesday that he will schedule a vote on the SAVE America Act next week, which will likely fail if it requires the 60-vote threshold to pass.
“We’re discussing the manner and process by which it comes to the floor, but it is the intention to have it up next week,” Thune told the Washington Examiner.
He declined to say whether that bill would require 60 votes to pass, as most Senate legislation does, but reiterated that not enough Senate Republicans support a talking filibuster for the bill to pass without the 60 votes.
The SAVE America Act requires voter ID and proof of citizenship to register to vote.
“We don’t have the votes either to proceed, get on a talking filibuster, nor to sustain one if we got on it,” Thune said earlier Tuesday in a press conference.
The House Freedom Caucus posted on X on Tuesday regarding Thune's comments, "If Thune plans to kill the SAVE America Act by bringing it to the floor at the 60-vote threshold, he isn’t fooling anybody. Americans don’t want performance theater. They want @SenateGOP to actually fight for them by using the talking filibuster to pass the SAVE America Act."
Trump has vowed not to sign virtually any bill until the SAVE America Act is passed and reaches his desk. He told House Republicans on Monday that it is his “No. 1 priority.”
Thune on Tuesday called the decision not to pursue a talking filibuster a matter of Senate “math.”

Within about an hour, sirens were activated three times across northern Israel early Friday morning following launches from Iran.
Most of the launches were intercepted and the rest fell in open areas.
In one of the barrages, there was a direct hit on a building in Zarzir, causing damage. 33 people were injured, including two in moderate condition, and the others in light condition. (Read more)

2. IDF admits warning failure for Hezbollah's heavy barrage, holds off on Lebanon invasion - Jerusalem Post
The IDF is still not in favor of launching a full invasion of Lebanon, despite Hezbollah's heavy attacks on the North on Wednesday night, but is considering it as a more real option once the war with Iran calms down.
Despite Hezbollah firing over 200 rockets overnight (compared to at most 100 per day until now during this conflict) and an increased pace in drone attacks, the IDF still views Iran as the central theater of the current multifront war, with Lebanon being a secondary front mainly to prevent any attacks from Hezbollah and to keep the terror group on its back feet.

Israeli airstrikes hit a building in the heart of Beirut on Thursday and Israel ordered residents out of another swathe of southern Lebanon, intensifying its offensive against the Iran-backed Hezbollah terrorist group.
The airstrike at around 5:30 pm (1530 GMT) hit a building in the Bachoura neighborhood, around 1 km (mile) from the Lebanese government’s Grand Serail headquarters in downtown Beirut.
Before the strike, the Israeli military issued a warning telling residents they were near a Hezbollah facility against which it intended to action.
Israel launched an air and ground offensive last week against Hezbollah, which started the conflict when it launched attacks at Israel on March 2 that it said aimed to avenge the killing of Iran’s supreme leader at the start of the US-Israeli war on Iran. (Read more)

If Lebanon’s government fails to prevent Hezbollah rocket and drone attacks on Israel, Jerusalem will “take control of the territory and do it ourselves,” Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz threatened on Thursday.
“The prime minister and I have instructed the Israel Defense Forces to prepare to expand its operations in Lebanon and to restore quiet and security to the northern communities,” the defense minister stated.

The move follows an earlier announcement by the International Energy Agency, whose member nations pledged to make 400 million barrels of oil available.
The Trump administration is tapping into the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve to ease rising gas prices amid the war with Iran, the president said Wednesday. The Department of Energy announced 172 million barrels of oil will be released beginning next week.
“This will take approximately 120 days to deliver based on planned discharge rates,” the Energy Department said in a statement. “Unlike the previous administration, which left America’s oil reserves drained and damaged, the United States has arranged to more than replace these strategic reserves with approximately 200 million barrels within the next year—20 percent more barrels than will be drawn down—and at no cost to the taxpayer.”

When Iran’s missiles began flying on February 28, 2026, a second war was launched simultaneously, fought entirely with fabricated images, recycled videos, and outright lies. Within hours of the US-Israel strikes on Iran, Iranian state media flooded social platforms with battlefield “victories” that never happened, casualties that were invented, and dramatic footage pulled from video games in a coordinated disinformation operation on a scale that was simply staggering.
Since the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran, NewsGuard, the news rating organization that monitors media credibility, identified 18 war-related claims by Iranian sources that were provably false. In the two weeks before the US-Israel strikes, NewsGuard had flagged just five false claims from Iranian outlets. The volume of lies tripled almost overnight.
The Iranian state-controlled outlet Tehran Times posted a satellite image on X on February 28 purporting to show the destruction of a US radar installation at Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar. The caption was unambiguous: “An American radar in Qatar was completely destroyed today in an Iranian drone strike.” The image showed a dramatic before-and-after of the site. There was one problem.
Information warfare analyst Tal Hagin traced the image back to a Google Earth photograph taken on February 2, 2025, a full month before the war began, that had been manipulated using AI. Read more

Father God, it is amazing that Iran would try to use falsehoods to post untrue information on electronic media and actually believe the world would accept it as truth. Lord, thank You that their false claims have been shown up to be lies and that only those who are not knowledgeable about AI and how pictures can be changed into a lie could believe a regime like Iran's. The FBI warned California police departments that Iran may try to attack the US mainland with drones.ABC News reviewed an FBI bulletin that revealed the bureau warned police in California that Iran wanted to launch a surprise drone attack against the West Coast.
It is unclear how Iran would be able to even get close enough to launch drones near the mainland US.
The bulletin did not offer any specific details about the drone attack.

Because of the bravery of Master Sergeant Roddie Edmonds that even when a pistol was pressed against his forehead he said the words that echoed throughout that containment camp in Germany:"We are all Jews here". Lord, we can only imagine how proud you were of him on that day when he saved his 200 Jewish soldiers under his command that had been captured with him along with other American soldiers. Father, this is a mighty vision of how strong we all can be when You are standing with us in the battle even when faced with the threat of death. obin Wayman had never heard of glossopharyngeal neuralgia before being diagnosed with the condition in 2025. The rare illness causes excruciating pain in the ears, jaw, tongue, and tonsils. Wayman, 64, found a neurosurgeon in Atlanta who could treat the problem. She traveled from her home in Seymour, Tennessee, for pre-surgery tests and an appointment with the hospital’s business office.
A representative presented Wayman with a form stating the amount to be paid by her insurer, about $16,000, and the amount she would owe, about $4,000. She signed the statement and made an initial payment of more than $1,000.
A few weeks later, Wayman underwent a successful procedure. While recovering at home, she continued making payments to the hospital. Months went by.
Then Wayman received another bill—for $80,000. Thinking it was a mistake, she called the hospital. The billing representative said the charge was accurate. “Why didn’t I know this up front?” she said. “I would have searched for care somewhere else.”The agent’s reply dumbfounded Wayman. “He said, ‘I’m sure you would have, ma‘am, but you owe it.’”

There are more and more hospitals that will not receive people's health plans or insurance. Father, we ask for divine health and wisdom for Your people as we navigate through this season of health crisis in America. We pray that every American citizen would have the same health insurance benefits as our Congress has! Lord, we know that there are many who are living in pain because of the high costs of insurance and not being able to pay for medical procedures and their basic needs. Our representatives in government need to step in and do something about the broken healthcare system in America and make it a priority! Hezbollah and Iran continued coordinated rocket and missile barrages on northern and central Israel, targeting the Galilee, Haifa, the Sharon and Gush Dan, as drone alerts sounded in the Golan and Galilee Panhandle, and sirens were reported in Eilat.
For the second time overnight, sirens sounded across northern and central Israel amid coordinated rocket and missile fire from Lebanon and Iran. Alerts were also triggered in the Eilat area. Sirens warning of incoming missiles and drones sounded across northern Israel earlier overnight as Hezbollah launched repeated barrages toward the Galilee and Haifa area, before expanding its fire toward central Israel, including the Sharon region and Gush Dan.

IDF hits wave of targets in Iran, destroying regime’s repression apparatus

The Israel Defense Forces on Tuesday declared it had dismantled most key assets of Iran’s internal security forces in Ilam province, a western region that became a flashpoint during the anti-regime protests that swept the Islamic Republic earlier this year.
Security forces and members of the Basij—the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ volunteer militia—”carried out many terror attacks and brutally repressed internal protests during demonstrations that took place across Iran in the December–January period,” the IDF stated.
Since the start of “Operation Roaring Lion” on Feb. 28, Israeli Air Force jets struck the local headquarters of Tehran’s internal security forces, including barracks of a special forces unit; an office of the regime’s Intelligence Ministry; an IRGC command center responsible for battalions that suppress protests; and several Basij and IRGC infrastructures used to reinforce the regime’s control, it said.
The IDF noted that the damage to repression and control mechanisms in the Ilam province, which borders Iraq and has a significant Kurdish population, was just “one example of many” of its recent operations.
The security forces “form part of the Iranian regime’s security apparatus and have for years been responsible for executing terror activities,” said the army, noting that they also lead Tehran’s main “repression efforts against internal protests, particularly in recent periods, using severe violence, mass arrests, and force against civilian demonstrators.”
The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, in a message to the Iranian people posted to X on Tuesday night, stressed that the joint Israeli-U.S. war against the “tyrants of Teheran” was “a historic war for liberty.”
“The ayatollah is no more, and I know you don’t want him replaced with another tyrant. So you must act. We are creating the conditions for you to do so. Iran has deployed about a dozen mines in the Strait of Hormuz, two sources familiar with the matter say, in a move likely to complicate the reopening of the narrow waterway, an important route for shipping oil and liquefied natural gas.
Exports of oil and LNG through the strategic chokepoint along Iran’s coast have effectively been halted by the war launched 12 days ago by the United States and Israel, helping to drive a surge in world energy prices.
Iran’s military command said today that the world should be prepared for oil to hit $200 a barrel.
One source says the mines were deployed “in the last few days” and that most of their locations are known. But the source declines to say how the US plans to deal with them.
CNN first reported the mining of the strait yesterday.
Iran has long threatened to retaliate against any military attack by mining the strait. About a fifth of global oil and LNG normally passes through the strait, and Tehran’s ability to stop shipping through the channel gives it enormous leverage over the US and its allies. Wayward, 1,300-pound NASA satellite to crash through Earth’s atmosphere Tuesday — here’s how dangerous it will be to the public

It’s a homecoming to rock your world.
A 1,323-pound spacecraft is expected to rip through Earth’s atmosphere Tuesday night, warns NASA of the incoming juggernaut.
“The U.S. Space Force predicted that the [satellite] will re-enter the atmosphere at approximately 7:45 p.m. EDT on March 10, 2026,” announced the aeronautics administration in a statement Monday, noting a 24-hour window of uncertainty for its landing.
“NASA expects most of the spacecraft to burn up as it travels through the atmosphere,” continued the bulletin, “but some components are expected to survive re-entry.”
It’s a frightening return with potentially dangerous returns.
NASA, however, assures that the “risk of harm coming to anyone on Earth is low — approximately 1 in 4,200,” per the update.
The slim-to-none chance of injury takes into account that water covers roughly 70% of the Earth’s surface. So, any surviving fragments of the inbound machinery are likely to hurl into the ocean rather than atop some hapless chap’s head. (New York Post) Read More
