Best of Thanksgiving Stories
Relax, pull up a chair, and read some Thanksgiving stories with elements you may have never heard before. Pass them on to your children and friends. Happy Thanksgiving!  Here we go again. That beautiful time of year when we all really do take a little break and spend some time with family and friends. It’s the perfect launch into the holiday season with Christmas less than a month away. As it is every year, it’s a wonderful time for personal pause, reflection, appreciation, joy, and human interaction. A time to further connect, share stories and perspectives.

What’s curious, however, is how the historic origins of Thanksgiving seem to be slowly fading from our national memory. The stories associated with Thanksgiving are truly tragic and heroic while uplifting as they depict the worst and the best of our human nature and the woes and hardships of life. They are also laced with the Divine.

The stories should be known, understood, and retold to ourselves and our children. In all cases, truth should prevail regardless of religious or political beliefs. Where all of us can be unified is in documented history and backstories surrounding Thanksgiving and its roots as an all-American holiday. Enjoy these Biblical Viewpoint posts reflecting the Best of Thanksgiving Stories. (Biblical Viewpoint) Read More Here!
Father, we lift ALL PRAISE and THANKSGIVING to You for Your protective Hand upon our beautiful nation established by biblical principles. May Your presence be known and Your Name be glorified within our homes as we gather this week. Let us each be filled with thankfulness and heartfelt gratitude for the inheritance we have received through Christ Jesus! Prepare our hearts for this season of Thanksgiving, as we fully re-dedicate every area of our lives to You, our King of kings and Lord of lords; the One who leads our every step and also directs the Nations! By the Blood and powerful Name of Yeshua we pray. Amen and Amen.

'Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him. For the LORD is a great God, a great King above all gods."  (Psalm 95:2-3)

Ukraine agrees to peace deal, US official says
Some minor details of Russia-Ukraine peace agreement still to be decided, official notes

Ukraine has agreed to a peace deal that would see an end to the war with Russia, a U.S. official told Fox News. Some minor details of the agreement are still to be sorted out, the official said.

Lt. Col. Jeff Tolbert, a spokesman for U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, had told Fox News that Driscoll and his team met with Russian officials in Abu Dhabi on Monday and Tuesday to discuss the framework for a Ukraine peace deal.

"The talks are going well and we remain optimistic. Secretary Driscoll is closely synchronized with the White House and the U.S. interagency as these talks progress," said Tolbert.

A U.S. official told Fox News that the Ukrainian delegation was also in Abu Dhabi and was in contact with Driscoll and his team.

The diplomatic flurry over the weekend followed the leak of the 28-point peace plan to Axios, which many European leaders and U.S. lawmakers viewed as largely favorable to Russia.

Rep. Don Bacon, R-Neb., said on X that the initial proposal by U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff was a "surrender document for Ukraine that would have left it at the mercy of Russia for decades to come." He said the latest version, developed with Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s involvement and input from Ukrainian and European officials, was a better plan. "We must stand on [the] side of freedom & rule of law," Bacon wrote.

Thank You Abba, for bringing this terrible conflict forward to a resolution. We are encouraged by this step and pray that the agreement will move forward with the Europeans so that the people of Ukraine can stand down from the horrific conflict. May there also be an agreement with Russia to cease and desist continuing this conflict as well, in Jesus's name.

"Seek good and not evil, That you may live; So the Lord God of hosts will be with you, As you have spoken. Hate evil, love good; Establish justice in the gate. It may be that the Lord God of hosts Will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph."         (Amos 5:14-15)

Trump designates Muslim Brotherhood as foreign terrorist organization

President Donald Trump on Monday issued an executive order to begin the process to designate the Muslim Brotherhood a foreign terrorist organization (FTO).

Trump did so one week after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott designated the Muslim Brotherhood and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) FTOs, The Center Square reported. Both groups “have long made their goals clear: to forcibly impose Sharia law and establish Islam’s ‘mastership of the world,’" Abbott said. Their actions “support terrorism across the globe and subvert our laws through violence, intimidation, and harassment … These radical extremists are not welcome in our state and are now prohibited from acquiring any real property interest in Texas.”

Trump’s order cites the Immigration and Nationality Act and International Emergency Economic Powers Act as legal authorities for issuing the order. It also amends a Sept. 23, 2001, executive order issued by former President George Bush after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks (Blocking Property and Prohibiting Transactions with Persons Who Commit, Threaten to Commit, or Support Terrorism). Mighty, Living God, we pray for the stopping of all Islamic plans in America that are in opposition to our culture and way of life, in Your name. We pray for President Trump, as he is taking a firm stand against Islamic terrorism in the US and beyond with this executive order. We also bless Gov. Abbott for taking action to stop the construction of a massive Islamic compound in Texas, which would deny our Constitutional law by implementing sharia law, in the name of Jesus. May the Spirit of the Living God rise up in power and authority within the body of Christ and give revelation and wisdom about how to address the followers and draw them from the darkness into His glorious light, in Jesus's redeeming name.

Majority of Slovenians Vote to Reject Assisted Dying Law
A majority of Slovenian voters on Sunday voted to suspend a law that legalized assisted dying for terminally ill patients.

Preliminary vote counts from Slovenia’s State Election Commission at press time reportedly indicate that the law was rejected by around 53-percent of the votes against 46-percent that voted in favor of the legislation. Voter turnout was measured at around 41-percent.

Slovenian conservative activist Ales Primc, who led the campaign efforts against the assisted dying law, celebrated the results by saying that, “Compassion has won,” stressing that “Slovenia has rejected the government’s health, pension, and social reform based on death by poisoning.”

“We are witnessing a miracle. The culture of life has defeated the cult of death,” Primc reportedly said after the vote. (Breitbart) Read more here.

Father, this is a great big hallelujah that we rejoice to see. There has been far too much death culture in this world, especially from Canada and European nations. We bless Slovenia, the birthplace of our First Lady and pray for this "culture of life" to take ground and spread across every nation that euthanizes its citizens, in Jesus's name. We pray for souls to turn to Jesus and not death and that there would be a knowledge of eternity that gives people pause to reflect on their afterlife and the reality of a loving Savior. We welcome You into these decisions Jesus, in Your name.

White House: Trump supports Israel’s right to ‘take out terrorist threats’

U.S. President Donald Trump supports Israel’s right to defend itself against terrorist threats, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Monday following the killing of Hezbollah’s second-in-command.

Asked by Israel’s Walla news site whether Trump supported the assassination of Haytham Ali Tabatabai, the Iranian-backed terror group’s “chief of staff,” Leavitt said she had not spoken directly to the president about the strike.

“But of course, the president supports Israel’s right to defend itself and to take out terrorist threats in the region,” she added.

The operation against the senior terrorist—dubbed “Black Friday”—was the first Israeli strike in Beirut since July and came nearly a year to the day after a ceasefire took effect.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday noted that Tabatabai was a “mass murderer” whose hands were “soaked in the blood of many Israelis and Americans, and it is not for nothing that the U.S. put a bounty of five million dollars on his head.”

He warned that Jerusalem expects the Lebanese government to uphold its commitment to disarm Hezbollah under the U.S.-brokered ceasefire deal. (World Israel News)  Read more here.

Father God, we continue to give You praise that You have placed a man who totally support's Israel's right to exist in the Office of the President of the United States. We do praise You, O Lord, and we look for the blessings that will come to our land because of President Trump's actions. In Your Name, amen and amen.

"I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

1. End of discriminatory law: Major step towards land ownership equality in Judea and Samaria - Israel National News

A significant development occurred today (Tuesday) during a meeting of the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, when a representative from the Ministry of Defense announced that the ministry is promoting, alongside the legislative process, a military order that will annul the racist restriction on Jews purchasing land in Judea and Samaria - even before the completion of the legislative process in the Knesset.

The legal advisor’s statement from the Ministry of Defense was delivered during a session chaired by MK Boaz Bismuth, during which the committee approved for the first reading the bill to abolish the 1953 "Jordanian Law," which until now prohibited Jews from acquiring rights to land in the Judea and Samaria area.

The aim of the law is to allow any Israeli citizen or anyone eligible under the Law of Return to purchase land in Judea and Samaria - without the need to circumvent the restrictions through registered companies. (Read more)

2. Mediators said to meet in Cairo to discuss Gaza truce’s second phase
- Times of Israel

Delegations from Egypt, Qatar and Turkey, which along with the United States make up the mediators of the current ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, met on Tuesday in Cairo to discuss the second phase of the deal, Egyptian state-linked media reported.

Al-Qahera News, which has ties to Egyptian intelligence, said the meeting included the Egyptian and Turkish intelligence chiefs alongside the prime minister of Qatar.

The delegates discussed working with the US “to ensure the successful implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement” between Israel and Hamas, the channel reported. (Read more)

3. Body of one of the last three hostages leaves Gaza for Israel - World Israel News

A coffin is said to be carrying the remains of one of the three last hostages in the Gaza Strip was transferred to Israel via the International Committee of the Red Cross Tuesday afternoon.

At 4 p.m., a group of terrorists from the Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad organizations handed over a coffin to a Red Cross team.

Half an hour later, the IDF and Israel’s Shin Bet security agency confirmed that the coffin was in the Red Cross’ custody.

“According to information provided by the Red Cross, a coffin containing the remains of a fallen hostage has been transferred to its custody, and they are now on their way toward IDF forces inside the Gaza Strip.”

“Hamas is required to uphold the agreement and make all necessary efforts to return the bodies of the fallen hostages.” (Read more)

4. Sukkot demands discussion: Examine ties with Palestinian Authority security forces - Israel National News

MK Tzvi Sukkot (Religious Zionist Party) on Tuesday appealed to the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, MK Boaz Bismuth, requesting an urgent discussion on the continuation of security cooperation with the Palestinian Authority.

The request was submitted following a series of incidents that raise serious questions regarding the functioning of the Authority’s security apparatus.

Sukkot noted that in recent days, a terror cell was uncovered in Samaria, with all four of its members being active-duty Palestinian Authority police officers.

In addition, three more police officers were arrested on suspicion of involvement in terrorism. Sukkot further pointed out that the terrorist eliminated on Monday in Shechem (Nablus) - responsible for the murder of two IDF soldiers - had previously surrendered himself to the Palestinian Authority, which subsequently released him. (Read more)

5. Israel Moves to Admit Entire Bnei Menashe Community From India Amid Rising Ethnic Tensions - Algemeiner

The Israeli government on Sunday approved a plan to revive long-stalled efforts to bring the entire Bnei Menashe Jewish community from northeast India to Israel amid rising ethnic tensions, seeking to reunite families and advance their integration into the country.

According to a statement from the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, the plan envisions the relocation of 1,200 members of the Bnei Menashe community by the end of 2026, with another 4,600 expected to follow by 2030.

Amid rising instability and ethnic violence in their home region in India, members of the ethnic community from the northeastern states of Mizoram and Manipur are seeking to rebuild their lives through reintegration into Israeli society.

As part of government efforts to repopulate the northern part of the country, which was heavily affected by last year’s war with the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah, the new immigrants are expected to settle in Nof HaGalil and other northern cities after thousands of residents were forced to flee. (Read more)

1. DOJ, FBI open investigation into Democrats over 'illegal orders' video: report - justthenews.com

The Department of Justice and the FBI have opened an investigation into Democrats over their participation in a video urging troops to defy "illegal orders," sources confirmed to Just The News.

The DOJ and FBI confirmed to The Daily Wire that they are scheduling interviews with the Congress members involved, none of whom responded to the outlet's requests for comment.

Democratic Sen. Elissa Slotkin of Michigan, Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona, Pennsylvania Reps. Chris Deluzio and Chrissy Houlahan, Rep. Maggie Goodlander of New Hampshire, and Rep. Jason Crow of Colorado appeared in a video urging military members and intelligence officers to “refuse illegal orders” from the Trump administration. (Read more)

Praise God that the legal authorities of our nation are taking action against the members of Congress who have instigated this politically-motivated action of sowing doubt and distrust within the ranks of our military. We pray for the full weight of the Laws of this nation to weigh upon this dishonorable activity. May the just consequences for every person's actions be applied without measure in righteousness, in Jesus's holy name.

"'You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous. You shall follow what is altogether just, that you may live and inherit the land which the Lord your God is giving you.'" (Deuteronomy 16:19-20)

2. Bethany MaGee, 26, identified as Chicago victim set on fire on city train by serial thug with 72 arrests - skynews.com

The 26-year-old woman who cops said was set on fire by a lunatic with a lengthy rap sheet on a Chicago L train earlier this month has been identified as Bethany MaGee.

“It is devastating that a career criminal with 72 prior arrests is now accused of attacking 26-year-old Bethany MaGee on Chicago’s L train, and setting her on fire,” Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said on social media Sunday.

“This would never have happened if this thug had been behind bars. Yet Chicago lets repeat offenders roam the streets,” Duffy said of suspect Lawrence Reed, 50, who is facing federal terrorism charges in connection with the senseless fire attack.

“Chicago’s carelessness is putting the American people at risk. No one should ever have to fear for their life on the subway,” Duffy said, lambasting the Windy City’s soft-on-crime policies that let a dangerous convicted felon roam free. (Read more)

Father of Lights, this is yet another unbearable tragedy occurring against a beautiful young woman who has hurt no one. We cry out for full healing for this daughter. May she and her family all walk in miraculous comfort, salvation and restoration, in Your name. We pray against this dark evil that is being unleashed on our nation and drive it right back where it came from in the powerful name of Jesus. We call for the blood of Jesus and His righteousness to fill the void and we ask You Father, to release the goodness of heaven from above onto this nation, for Your glory. We pray for convicted criminals to be imprisoned where they can meet Jesus as their Lord and Savior and be set free.

"So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty. For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment." (James 2:12-13)
3. Trump to Propose Framework to Lower Healthcare Costs - Newsmax

President Donald Trump is expected to announce a new plan aimed at curbing rising healthcare costs, urging Congress to send legislation to his desk that would prevent premium spikes under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), according to two White House officials cited by MS Now on Sunday.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent also told NBC News' "Meet the Press" on Sunday that there would be an announcement this week on tackling healthcare costs.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., and House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., were expected to be briefed on the president's plan, one of the White House officials told MS Now.

Trump's proposed legislation, called the "Healthcare Price Cuts Act," according to both White House officials, would seek to end what one of the officials referred to as "surprise premium hikes" generated by the ACA.

It would also eliminate "zero-premium" subsidies currently offered under the ACA. This would be intended to stop "ghost beneficiaries," a GOP concern about alleged fraudulent policy recipients, by requiring a small minimum payment as a way to verify eligibility to receive benefits, according to MS Now. (Read more)

We pray for this legislation to be picked up by Congress quickly and that it would be a strong, positive framework upon which to rebuild insurance for this nation, ultimately abandoning the ACA completely, in Jesus's name. Holy One, we pray for the health and well-being of our people in order to overcome the dependence on sick-care and medication. May we once again become  strong, healthy and able to build up our human resources for righteousness, relationships and the gospel, in Your name.

"You also gave Your good Spirit to instruct them, And did not withhold Your manna from their mouth, And gave them water for their thirst. Forty years You sustained them in the wilderness; They lacked nothing; Their clothes did not wear out And their feet did not swell." (Nehemiah 9:20-21)

4. Chicago public schools blow millions on travel expenses while students can't read at grade level - Fox News

A scathing report from the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) Office of Inspector General (OIG) revealed that the school system spent a staggering $14.5 million in "excessive" travel expenses in FY 2023 and FY 2024 combined.

The report comes as data shows that just 30.5% of students in grades 3–8 were proficient in reading, and just 18.3% of students were proficient in math in the spring of 2024.

"It is a sad commentary on just how far our city has fallen and how bad the leadership is," Chicago pastor Corey Brooks told Fox News Digital. "These individuals believe that spending money on themselves benefits our educational system more so than spending it on the children who so rightfully deserve it."

"In our neighborhood, there's a 6% reading proficiency," Brooks added. "And now you're talking about the overall for Chicago being 30%, that is something that needs to be spoken by everyone who is in power." (Read more)

Holy One, we pray for severe repercussions to come upon all those who have squandered the money and disregarded their obligation to educate the children of Chicago. We pray for the families to use their authority to remove those who have shown such indifference to the well-being and growth of the children of an entire city? Father, we pray for these children who have almost no education and thus, few hopes, dreams or aspirations for the future. As a nation, many of us help sponsor children world-wide to gain an education because we know it is the way out of poverty. We pray for an overwhelming reconciling of affairs and strategies to re-educate the population, in response to this tragic report, in Jesus's name.

"'Therefore you shall be careful to do as the Lord your God has commanded you; you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.'" (Deuteronomy 5:32-33)

5. Defending Faith: America’s Vital Role in the Global Fight for Persecuted Christians - Washington Stand

We are at a critical moment in our shared history — a moment that calls for our collective conscience, moral clarity, and unwavering commitment to justice. Christians are facing a genocide around the globe.

And while President Donald Trump is championing religious liberty in Syria after hosting the former al-Qaeda fighter turned president, Ahmad al-Sharaa, and declaring Nigeria a “country of particular concern” because of the slaughter of Christians, we cannot be naive.

Christian persecution is already here in America. Our nation is becoming a dangerous place for faithful believers to live. We must stand up now for the persecuted — not only as individuals but as a united front for our brothers and sisters around the world.

Policymakers, churches, and ordinary citizens have a moral responsibility to ensure our nation remains a beacon of hope and freedom for all, especially the vulnerable persecuted for their faith. (Read more)

Father God, we pray for the body of Christ to be awake and aware of the horrors of Christian persecution in the world and to see the signs of the troubles coming into our own nation. May we stand in prayer and intercession as we ask for wisdom and authority for those who speak out in warning so that their words are heeded. We also pray for pastors and leaders to recognize what is expected of them in both the governmental arena and as a city's spiritual gate-keepers, in Jesus's name. Holy One, we again ask You to remind us of our three founding covenants made so that this nation might be a strong, Godly and gospel-sending country. Let us not forget our first love and calling, Jesus, in Your name.

"'No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, "Know the Lord," for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.'" (Jeremiah 31:34)

6. Remembering 'A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving' - PJ Media

According to producer Lee Mendelson, Peanuts creator Charles Schulz asked a simple question: What would happen if the kids cooked Thanksgiving dinner?

Charming chaos, set to a Vince Guaraldi theme, was the result. After he fails to kick the football (again!), Charlie Brown’s plans for Thanksgiving at Grandma’s run into a snag: his friend, Peppermint Patty, calls and invites herself over to dinner, along with her sidekick, Marcie, and the gang’s friend, Franklin. Poor Charlie Brown gets steamrolled the same way he falls for Lucy’s promise to hold the football.

Luckily, Linus is there to save the day, with the perfect solution: Have the kids over for lunch, then go to Grandma's. Yes, it was the first Friendsgiving, though Merriam-Webster wouldn’t start calling it that until 2007.

Brash Peppermint Patty sets up my favorite scene, when she says, “Before we’re served, shouldn’t we say grace?” Little philosopher Linus responds with thirty seconds that sum up the day:

In the year 1621, the Pilgrims held their first Thanksgiving feast. They invited the great Indian chief Massasoit, who brought ninety of his brave Indians and a great abundance of food. Governor William Bradford and Captain Miles Standish were honored guests. Elder William Brewster, who was a minister, said a prayer that went something like this: 'We thank God for our homes and our food and our safety in a new land. We thank God for the opportunity to create a new world for freedom and justice." (Read more here)

Amen! Thank You Father, that many of us grew up in this Charlie Brown world and had the blessed gift of family, friends and fellowship in our communities – Christian or not. We pray for the great majority of our nation now that sadly has not had the warmth and security that we have known and even took for granted. May they be empowered to apprehend and create a new world here where You Holy Spirit, are their Strong Tower and Friend. We ask You to enable them to build a new and secure world for one another and the lost where they can celebrate a "friendsgiving" in peace and joy, in Jesus's name.

"But the Lord said to me: 'Do not say, "I am a youth," For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,' says the Lord. Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: 'Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.'" (Jeremiah 1:7-10)

Modern Turkey’s Prophetic March Toward Ezekiel 38

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, November 25, 2025

When Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz told Turkey’s Recep Tayyip Erdogan to “get the hell out of here” after Ankara issued “genocide” warrants for Israeli leaders, it was more than a war of words. This public break echoes a deeper prophetic undercurrent. Erdogan, long sympathetic to radical Islamist causes, now positions Turkey directly against Israel—mobilizing troops under the guise of Gaza “peacekeeping” while aligning with Iran and other anti-Israel states. What looks like political theater is really stagecraft toward fulfillment of Ezekiel 38, where “Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal,” leads a coalition of nations against Israel in the last days. Those ancient territories are the lands of modern Turkey.

For years, Turkey has played both sides by courting the West through NATO while financing Hamas and sheltering the Muslim Brotherhood. Historical records show Turkey’s ambitions to restore Ottoman influence across the Middle East. From opposing Israel’s defense actions to championing Gaza “relief,” Erdogan has carefully built an image of Islamic leadership. His latest mobilization of 2,000 troops for a so-called “peacekeeping” force is not about peace, but rather positioning. In the prophetic order, Turkey’s dominance in Meshech, Tubal, Gomer, and Togarmah forms the northern front described by Ezekiel. And the moment that army “comes like a storm,” Israel will stand alone, save for divine intervention. See where this could head? Read More

Taking out Hamas' million-dollar 'root' tunnel is game changer, analyst says
Tunnel contained about 80 hideouts, stretched beneath UN compound and manned by hundreds of militants and commanders

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) released a video showing what it describes as one of Hamas’s "most complex" underground infrastructures extending beneath the southern Gaza city of Rafah.

According to the IDF, the seven-kilometer-long "root tunnel" runs roughly 25 meters underground, contains about 80 rooms and was used for command operations, weapons storage and sheltering Hamas operatives.

The video shared on X on Nov. 20 travels through reinforced concrete passageways and large chambers, showing the sophistication and scale of Hamas’s underground network

The Israeli military claims the tunnel originated beneath a United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) compound and stretched beneath civilian sites.

"IDF troops uncovered one of Gaza’s largest and most complex underground routes, over 7 km long, ~25 meters deep, with ~80 hideouts, where abducted IDF officer Lt. Hadar Goldin was held," the post read.

Israeli analysts say the demolition of this tunnel marks a strategic blow to Hamas and "paves the path to its defeat." Read more

Dear Lord,

Horrible as this news is, we are still grateful to know that Your Word is true and does not lie. Once again, Abba, You have caused hidden things to be revealed and secret things to be made known. We weep together as we envision the atrocities that have taken place in this huge tunnel, and we ask that You would hold the United Nations' agency, UNRWA, for being so complicit in hiding this truth. Bring justice we ask, O Lord; bring justice for those who have been so tortured. In Your Name, we offer this prayer, amen and amen!

"For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land." (Psalm 37:9)
FBI: 143 Tren de Aragua Terrorists Arrested in South Texas

Federal authorities announced a major Department of Homeland Security operation in South Texas that netted the arrests of 143 terrorists tied to the violent transnational criminal organization Tren de Aragua (TdA), according to an FBI update.

TdA was designated a foreign terrorist organization by the Trump administration in February.

The news comes as Gen. Dan Caine, chairman of President Donald Trump's Joint Chiefs of Staff, is in the Caribbean to address troops built up in the region to weigh military options against Venezuela and dictator Nicolás Maduro's regime.

The action followed last week's launch of the Homeland Security Task Force-South Texas (HSTF-South Texas), a new regional initiative led by the FBI San Antonio Field Office and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

"HSTF-South Texas" will serve as a model for similar efforts nationwide, officials said, emphasizing both prevention and enforcement in combating transnational crime.

The task force is designed to merge intelligence and law enforcement operations to counter emerging threats from transnational criminal groups.

Federal and state authorities executed a Nov. 16 search warrant near 5939 San Pedro Avenue in San Antonio — an area described as a known gathering point for TdA members and other criminal actors involved in narcotics distribution, weapons violations, and human trafficking.

The operation resulted in 143 arrests, including 51 confirmed TdA members, the FBI said. (Newsmax)

We praise You at this report! Thank You, Holy One, that our law enforcement personnel have now captured and arrested 143 Tren de Aragua Terrorists in South Texas. As a result of their diligent efforts, the citizens of South Texas are now safe in their homes and on their streets. We ask, O Lord, that this wave of arrests would continue to roll across our nation, until every single terrorist has been captured. Amen.

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!" (Psalm 150:6)

We are also thankful for this nation where we are still able to freely worship,
without persecution...at least for now. May we take advantage of that freedom of religion and share the Good News wherever we go, lifting up King Yeshua!

Whether you dine alone this Thursday, or with family or friends, please know that you are loved and 'seen' by Creator God. He is with you and for you, He has great plans for you, and He is so so good!

He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.

‘Once-in-300-years’ rain leaves Thai city flooded and maternity ward stranded
At least 19 people across southern Thailand have died, mainly caused by electrocution and flood-related accidents, according to the public health ministry.

Bangkok, Thailand (CNN) — A “once in 300 year” storm has battered southern Thailand, bringing floodwaters more than eight feet high that in one city cut off access to a maternity ward holding 30 newborn babies, staff and officials said.

At least 19 people across southern Thailand have died, mainly caused by electrocution and flood-related accidents, according to the public health ministry.

The heaviest rain was seen in Hat Yai city, a major center of transportation and trade in Songkhla province, which recorded “the heaviest rain in 300 years,” according to the country’s Royal Irrigation Department. That figure refers to how rare this kind of rainstorm is, with a probability of occurring once every 300 years, officials told CNN.

As of Monday, nine provinces across southern Thailand are still flooded, affecting more than 127,000 households, according to local authorities. Some places have recorded nearly 400 millimeters (15.7 inches) of accumulated rain – exacerbated by overflowing rivers and flash floods.

In Hat Yai, floodwaters reached up to 2.5 meters (8.2 feet) in depth, sweeping through the city and inundating homes. Photos from the city show entire roads underwater, with houses half-submerged and emergency crews on boats rescuing residents and delivering supplies. Read More

A Special Message
The Sinner's Prayer
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
