Christians Fill Mile-Long Communion Table on National Mall:

'Nothing but the Blood of Jesus'
At a time when the government is shut down due to partisan politics and the bickering that’s taking place on Capitol Hill over the issue, thousands of people gathered on the National Mall to lift up the name of Jesus. They came to Washington to take a seat at the table of brotherhood to celebrate Communion America. The blowing of the Shofar symbolized the National Mall becoming Holy Ground for planting seeds of spiritual renewal.

Thousands of believers came together, representing all 50 states, as well as Puerto Rico and Israel. From the main stage of the event, speakers cried out for repentance, declaring, “Jesus, we need your leadership. We repent!” It was a call to collectively repent before celebrating communion. Also, the faithful prayed to humble themselves and call on God to heal America. Breaking up into small groups, some knelt, sat, or stood. All holding hands as they fervently prayed for God to have an impact on the nation. (Charisma News) Read More Here
- Abba, we thank You for opportunity to honor Your holy Name as thousands of believers participated in "Communion America"!  We celebrate the blowing of shofars and collective heartfelt prayers lifted in repentance for our nation at the National Mall. In Jesus Name, we declare the powerfully prophetic act of sharing communion among unified believers and crying out to God for revival, will move every mountain, bring healing and cause restoration to fall upon America!  Bless each believer who attended and prayed, representing all 50 states, along with Puerto Rico and Israel. May their prayers of humility and repentance be received as a sweet fragrant offering before You, all for the Glory of Almighty God!  In the powerful Blood of Yeshua, we pray-Amen and Amen.

- "Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Supreme Court Rejects Gender Identity and Parental Rights Case

The Supreme Court on Oct. 14 turned away a petition from parents whose children were secretly given gender identity instruction. Justices declined to grant a writ of certiorari, or a petition of reconsideration, filed by parents of middle school students in Colorado. The decision was not explained.

Justice Samuel Alito, joined by Justices Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch, said he agreed the petition should not have been granted but that he was concerned some federal courts are tempted “to avoid confronting a ‘particularly contentious constitutional questio[n].”

That question, he said, is whether a school district violates the fundamental rights of parents “when, without parental knowledge or consent, it encourages a student to transition to a new gender or assists in that process.”

He added: “Petitioners tell us that nearly 6,000 public schools have policies—as respondent allegedly does—that purposefully interfere with parents’ access to critical information about their children’s gender-identity choices and school personnel’s involvement in and influence on those choices. The troubling—and tragic—allegations in this case underscore the ‘great and growing national importance’ of the question that these parent petitioners present.”

The case in question involves two students who went to Gender and Sexualities Alliance meetings that discussed gender identity and featured warnings about divulging the discussions with their parents, according to court documents.

The parents of the students, who attended a middle school in Colorado, sued Poudre School District, alleging that district policies infringed on their rights as parents. One such policy directed that employees “should not disclose information that may reveal a student’s transgender or nonbinary status to others, including ... parents.”

“As in many schools in America today, Respondent has implemented a series of policies that usurp parental authority in favor of schools’ authority, effectively denying parents the right to the care, custody, and control of their children,” the parents said in a petition to the Supreme Court.

Lower courts rejected the case, finding that the parents had not established liability for school officials. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Father God, we bring this case before Your Throne of Grace. We do not understand this verdict, but we know that You do. We ask that Your continued hand of blessing would rest upon these Supreme Court Justices as they weigh each opinion in light of our Constitution. We pray, too, for the parents in the State of Colorado who brought this petition before this Court, that they would not lose heart and would continue to raise their children according to Your precepts. In Your Name, we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

- "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)

And I will save your children."

Trump: If Hamas doesn’t uphold vow to disarm, ‘we will disarm them, perhaps violently’

US President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Hamas has told his top aides that it will disarm, and that the terror group could be dealt with “violently” if it refuses to do so. He also pressed the Palestinian terror group to follow through with its release of all the dead hostages still being held in the Strip.

“I spoke to Hamas, and I said, ‘You’re going to disarm, right?’ ‘Yes, sir. We’re going to disarm.’ — That’s what they told me. They will disarm or we will disarm them,” Trump told reporters at the White House.

He later clarified that this message, rather than in a direct conversation between the president and Hamas officials, was passed along via his “people,” apparently referring to US special envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

Witkoff and Kushner, with Trump’s approval, met last week in Sharm el-Sheikh with Hamas’s top negotiator Khalil al-Hayya to assure him that Washington would hold Israel accountable to the terms of the US plan for ending the war in Gaza.

Trump made the comments on Tuesday in response to a question on whether he can guarantee that Hamas will disarm.

“We have told them we want them to disarm, and they will disarm. And if they don’t disarm, we will disarm them, and it’ll happen quickly and perhaps violently, but they will disarm,” he said. “Do you understand me?… They will disarm.”

- Lord God, we declare, “ENOUGH, ALREADY!” May the U.S. and Israel come in strong resolve to hold Hamas accountable to fulfill their part of the Gaza Peace Plan in a timely fashion. Please, give U.S. and Israeli leaders Your vision and guidance for ending any stalemate with this terror group in the Middle-East.  We pray that no U.S. or Israeli lives would be lost nor injuries incurred in the enforcement of the Plan, should military action against Hamas become necessary.

- ‘This far you may come, but no farther, And here your proud waves must stop!’          (Job 38:11)

Virginia voters sound off on Democrats' handling of 'horrendous' Jay Jones scandal,
trans bathroom fight
Virginia residents suggest Jay Jones will be a big problem for the rest of the Democratic ticket

WINCHESTER, Va. – What was once the most contested city in the Confederacy is again divided — this time on the merits of the candidates in the upcoming Virginia elections.

While there are no longer recurring bloody battles along "The Valley Road" (now US-11) through Winchester, residents in the city in Virginia’s northwest corner — the region’s apple capital in the fall and also home of GOP gubernatorial candidate Winsome Earle-Sears — offered competing views on the issues commanding the race.

Fox News Digital spoke with multiple Winchester, Virginia, area residents along the Loudoun Street arcade, a pedestrian-only portion of the historic city’s central avenue that comprises several shops, restaurants and a Civil War museum.

Of the murder-texts scandal enveloping Democratic attorney general candidate Jay Jones, Kevin Callinan from neighboring Stephens City, Virginia, said that "no normal person" would say what Jones said about then-Virginia House Speaker Todd Gilbert, R-Shenandoah.

"It just was really horrendous," he said of Jones’ conversation referencing murdering Gilbert and seeing harm come to what the Democrat called the Republican’s "little fascist" children.

"He should have just had the moral of dignity to just say, 'I'm gonna resign. I said that, it was horrible to even say it. Even if it was a joke, it is horrible, and I should have just walked away,'" Callinan said. (Fox News) Read more here

- Lord God, we repent that Jay Jones has made these statements, and we thank You that the hidden has now come to light. We ask that You forgive him and cleanse his heart, that he might know You as his Savior and his Lord.

We thank you, too, for the fallout from his action in the polls, now that the public has seen his evil thoughts. We thank You that the campaign of Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears (who is now running for Governor) has gained major momentum since Jay's statements have come to light, and that Spanberger is going down in the polls. We thank You, too, for the shift we now see in the polls for the State Attorney General, favoring Republican incumbent Jason Miyares against Jay Jones, the Democratic nominee.

Lord God, we leave all of this in Your hands, knowing, Abba, that You do rule over all. Praise the Lord!

- "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28)

’60 Minutes’ spotlights Chinese hacking of Massachusetts town’s utility network
A national security segment revealed how hackers infiltrated the local utility network as part of a wider Chinese operation.

A “60 Minutes” report uncovered how Chinese hackers infiltrated Littleton, Massachusetts’s electric and water systems, as one small town got caught in a nationwide campaign to target U.S. utilities.

In the report aired on the CBS newsmagazine show Sunday, Oct. 12, Nick Lawler, the general manager of Littleton’s electric and water provider, tells “60 Minutes” that the FBI notified him that China had hacked into their utility network — which controls the chemicals in drinking water — in November 2023.

Luckily, the FBI caught China before it had operational control of the system.

“If you are willing to go after a small water provider in Littleton, Massachusetts, what other target is off the list?” asked Former National Security Agency Director Gen. Tim Haugh on “60 Minutes.”

Littleton was one of 200 utilities that the FBI found had been compromised by China’s operation, according to the news program. Other targets included the New York City transit authority, gas pipeline operations, Houston’s port, and major telecom companies.

In Littleton, China took advantage of a weakness in the firewall network to steal login credentials and masquerade as an employee. The Chinese government remained dormant on the network but apparently maintained access in case it might need it later.

Haugh said that if the U.S. and China were ever in a conflict, it would be a way to target the U.S. on home soil, taking away resources and causing a distraction.

The infrastructure breach meant that Littleton, a small town of 10,000 residents, had to spend $50,000 to rebuild the network.

“That goes against every norm of international law,” Haugh said. “That certainly goes against how the United States military would approach targeting in a crisis or a conflict. The fact that they would go after basic services as part of their effort that they have identified as unrestricted warfare is unconscionable.”

The section of the report on Littleton appears below. You can watch the full segment on the “60 Minutes” YouTube channel here.

- Lord God and Savior, we recognize that the Chinese Communist Party is a major tool of the evil one; it would seem that the party’s goals are only to ‘kill, steal, and destroy,’ and, thus, conquer. We pray for Your perfect strategies and choices of personnel to enable our nation to continue to outsmart the CCP as they attempt to infiltrate and control our infrastructure--hoping to put us at their mercy should we try to limit or stop their plundering.

We pray that the cyber security systems for our utilities and government agencies would be made impenetrable to national and international hackers working alone or as agents of foreign governments. Father, may the U.S. cease putting this issue ‘back on the shelf’ as it is critical to our survival! We ask for Your wisdom, resources—human, technical and financial -- plus the resolve to deal with infrastructure weaknesses right now. We thank You for Your supernatural protection in the past, present and future. We are at Your mercy, Lord, the only place we want and need to be.

- ‘For I,’ says the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’   (Zechariah 2:5)

"Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." (Hebrews 4:16)

Erika Kirk honors late husband Charlie in emotional White House tribute:
‘A free man made fully free’
Erika Kirk shared her daughter Gigi's message to late husband Charlie, saying, 'Happy birthday, daddy'

At a White House ceremony in the Rose Garden on Tuesday on what would have been her husband’s 32nd birthday, Erika Kirk accepted the Presidential Medal of Freedom on behalf of Charlie Kirk and delivered a powerful, deeply personal tribute to his life and legacy.

"Thank you, Mr. President, for honoring my husband in such a profound way," she began. "Charlie always admired your commitment to freedom."

She offered thanks to the first lady, the vice president, and friends and family "watching from all around the world," along with Turning Point USA staff and chapters nationwide. "You are the heartbeat of this future and of this movement," she said. "Everything Charlie built lives through you."

"Our founders etched it into the preamble of our Constitution, and those words are not relics on parchment. They are a living covenant. The blessings of liberty are not man’s invention. They are God’s endowment."

She recalled how Charlie wrote about freedom often. "He believed that liberty was both a right and a responsibility. And he used to say that freedom is the ability to do what is right without fear. And that’s how he lived," Erika said.

"His name, Charles, literally means ‘free man.’ And that’s exactly who my husband was," she continued. "From the time I met him, sitting across from him being interviewed about politics, philosophy and theology, I saw the fire in his soul. There was this divine restlessness within him that came from knowing God placed him on this earth to protect something very sacred. He never stopped fighting for people to experience freedom."

Erika recalled Charlie often saying that "without God, freedom becomes chaos" and that liberty can only survive "when anchored to truth." She remembered him telling an audience: "The opposite of liberty isn’t law. It’s captivity. And the freest people in the world are those whose hearts belong to Christ."

(Fox News) Read Erika's full speech by going here.
- Father God, we are so grateful that You have now allowed us to come to know Erika, as we have known Charlie. Her words are so powerful and so touching, keeping the torch of freedom alive for future generations! Help us to never forget the legacy of Charlie Kirk; and the messages now being released by his widow, Erika. What an amazing example this Christian couple is for all of us who know You and who seek to serve You, every day of our lives. In Your Name, we offer this prayer, Amen.

- "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."  (Matthew 5:4)

1. Knesset holds emergency session: 'Enemy is arming itself from within'
- Israel National News

An emergency session of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee was held Wednesday, focusing on the growing phenomenon of drones being used to smuggle weapons from Egypt into Israeli territory.

The discussion was initiated by MK Tzvi Succot, chairman of the Subcommittee on Judea and Samaria Affairs.

The session was convened following MK Succot's request to committee chairman MK Boaz Bismuth, amid a dramatic increase in recent months in the number of smuggling incidents involving hundreds of drones carrying weapons and military equipment from Egypt into Israel. (Read more)

2. Israeli Forensic Institute identifies seven deceased hostages from Gaza
- Israel National News

Dr. Chen Kugel, Head of the Israeli Forensic Institute, announced that “Three deceased captives have been identified at the National Center of Forensic Medicine. Staff Sergeant Tamir Nimrodi, Uriel Baruch, and Eitan Levy, may they rest in peace. They join four deceased captives who were identified yesterday here, Guy Illouz, Bifin Joshi, Yossi Sharabi, and Captain Daniel Perez, may they rest in peace.”

“The remains of the fourth body that arrived yesterday from Gaza Strip is not associated with one of the deceased captives. In addition to the identification, tests were made to determine the cause of death, to provide families with full information on their loved ones’ final moments. Concluding findings from the remains is still underway. 3. 2 more deceased hostages returned to Israel - Israel Hayom

Hamas announced today that it had complied with the terms of the Trump deal, handing over all living hostages and the bodies it was able to deliver. An Israeli official contradicted that account, saying Hamas is aware of the locations of additional deceased hostages but is citing logistical difficulties.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump warned that if Hamas violates the deal, the IDF will be able to resume fighting in Gaza the moment he gives the word.

The International Committee of the Red Cross, acting as a neutral intermediary between the parties, assisted today at the request of both sides in returning deceased hostages to Israeli authorities.

In a meeting held today with the IDF chief of staff and senior military leadership about the IDF's preparations in Gaza, Defense Minister Katz instructed the IDF to draw up a plan for the full defeat of Hamas in Gaza if the terrorist organization refuses to implement President Trump's plan and fighting needs to be renewed. (Read more)

4. Israel urged to open more Gaza border crossings to allow surge of aid - The Guardian

Aid agencies and the United Nations are calling for Israel to open more crossings into Gaza to allow “thousands of trucks” to enter the devastated territory every day.

Preparations are being made to allow convoys through the southern Rafah crossing with Egypt on Thursday, the first such access through the critical entry point since May last year.

However, humanitarian officials are also calling for other entry points to be opened, including a crossing to northern Gaza, which would allow vital supplies to reach hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who have travelled across the territory in recent days to reach their shattered homes. (Read more

5. Lebanon’s Aoun urges talks with Israel - JNS

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun called Monday for direct negotiations with Israel, signaling a possible historic shift with its southern neighbor that Beirut classifies as an enemy state.

Aoun said his country “cannot be outside the current path in the region, which is the path of crisis resolution,” in an apparent reference to Friday’s U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement between Jerusalem and the Hamas terrorist group in Gaza.

“Lebanon negotiated in the past with Israel with mediation by the United States and the United Nations,” the former commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces told a gathering of Lebanese business journalists. He added that these talks led to the 2022 maritime demarcation deal(Read more)

1. Christian Photographer Wins Major First Amendment Case - Million Voices

When Kentucky wedding photographer Chelsey Nelson filed suit against the city of Louisville five years ago, she wasn’t seeking fame, she was defending her right to create art that aligns with her beliefs. Last week, a federal judge handed Nelson a major victory, ruling that the city violated her First Amendment rights by attempting to force her to photograph same-sex weddings against her convictions.

According to CBN News, the court determined that Louisville’s “Fairness Ordinance” unlawfully compelled Nelson to express messages inconsistent with her faith. The decision shields her business, Chelsey Nelson Photography, from government penalties and sets a national precedent: creative professionals cannot be forced to produce speech they do not believe in.

Nelson’s case began in 2019 after city officials interpreted a local nondiscrimination ordinance to include creative services. The law prohibited “public accommodations” from discriminating based on sexual orientation, meaning Nelson could be fined or lose her business license if she declined to photograph a same-sex ceremony. Instead of waiting for punishment, she filed a preemptive lawsuit asserting that photography is expressive art, protected by the First Amendment. (Read more)

2. Gun Rights Advocates Target the National Firearms Act - Million Voices

For nearly a century, the National Firearms Act (NFA) has restricted how Americans can buy and own certain firearms and accessories. Now, a new wave of lawsuits aims to challenge those long-standing limits, arguing that they violate the Constitution’s clear guarantee of the right to keep and bear arms. The most recent action comes from Gun Owners of America (GOA), which has filed a motion for summary judgment against the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), directly contesting several provisions of the NFA.

While gun rights advocates see this as a landmark moment in defending the Second Amendment, others caution that any changes to the law could bring real-world consequences that must be carefully weighed.

According to Gun Owners of America, the lawsuit challenges the NFA’s control over items like short-barreled rifles (SBRs), short-barreled shotguns, and firearm suppressors. GOA argues that the ATF has overstepped its authority and that the law itself is outdated, inconsistent, and unconstitutional. (Read more)

- May the justices have the wisdom and courage to uphold the law that has been protected since the founding of our nation. I ask, Lord, that you remove any doubt and fear from the justices who may be wavering, and give them boldness in their decision-making. Let them not lose heart or bow down to pressure or bribes. We declare Justice will be done in Jesus name.

- “Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.” (1 Peter 2:16)

3. Illegal Alien Superintendent Scandal Rocks Iowa Schools - Million Voices

The arrest of former Des Moines school superintendent Ian Andre Roberts has shocked the nation, not only because of his crimes but because of what his story reveals about America’s collapsing rule of law. Once hailed as a diversity success story, Roberts was quietly living in the United States illegally while leading one of Iowa’s largest public-school systems. Now, after his capture by federal agents, his case has become a symbol of how ideology and indifference have eroded rule of law and accountability.

According to Fox News, Roberts had an extensive criminal history stretching across multiple states, including narcotics, forged documents, and firearm charges. Despite this record, he secured a six-figure position overseeing thousands of students in Des Moines Public Schools. It wasn’t until Immigration and Customs Enforcement finally arrested him that the public learned the truth about who was running their schools.

The story is drawing national outrage, not just for what Roberts did, but for what his rise represents. It is a stark warning about a government and educational system that prizes political optics over public safety. The fact that a man with a criminal record and no legal right to live in the U.S. could be entrusted with children’s education is more than an embarrassment, it’s a betrayal. (Read more)

- Lord God, thank you for exposing this serious issue of allowing noncitizens in powerful roles that challenge both the rule of law and the integrity of school governance. This hurts America’s culture by removing the process of assimilation, which gives immigrants the opportunity to learn and live by America’s values, customs, and traditions, not the country they fled from. This mistake must not be made again, God, and so we ask for justice in this situation and we ask for better vetting systems and better concern for those we hire to impact our children.

- “For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality.” (Colossians 3:25)

4. Blue city street takeover suspects torched police cruiser in 'hell-bent' attack on cops: union chief - Fox News

The president of a union that represents Boston police officers said that people who took part in a recent street takeover in the city were "hell-bent" on attacking law enforcement officials.

According to the Boston Police Department, over 100 people were involved in the takeover that involved street racing just after 2 a.m. on October 5. Officers found more than 100 people trying to attack police cruisers with fireworks, cones, poles and other items. One police cruiser was destroyed by flames and needed to be towed away from the area, officials said.

Boston Police Patrolmen's Association President Larry Calderone told Fox News Digital that those participating in the street takeover were focused on attacking officers. "They knew what they were going to do and they were hell-bent on attacking police officers. But that is not an everyday occurrence," Calderone said. Calderone said that the individuals took the street takeover to four different areas before ending in the city's South End area. (Read more here)

- We pray for the safety of all law enforcement officers who answer dangerous calls every single day to protect the citizens of our country.. We ask you, Lord God, to give them all wisdom, boldness, and courage to do what they are called to do. Thank you, Lord, for restoring America’s safety. In Jesus' name, amen.

- “The LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!”      (Isaiah 30:18)

5. Nolte: Election Official Confirms Tim Walz Driver’s License Law Allows Illegals to Vote - Breitbart

In March of 2023, Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) signed a bill into law that allows illegal immigrants to receive a state driver’s license. According to the far-left PolitiFact, about 81,000 people live in Minnesota illegally. In a meeting of the Minnesota House this week, an election confirmed that this driver’s license law allows illegal aliens to cast votes.

QUESTION: So we give a driver’s license to anyone here. You don’t have to be a citizen… So if someone comes in, they register, they have the driver’s license, but they have an incorrect social [security number], or no social, or whatever, then they become incomplete, but if they walk in to vote with their driver’s license, does that make them…okay?

ANSWER: If [the illegal alien] presents the election judge that acceptable identification document, that would clear the challenge from the roster and they would be permitted to cast a ballot.

QUESTION: So just to clarify, someone who is not a citizen but who presents a driver’s license … could be permitted to vote.
And the answer was, yes. (Read more)

- We have to have a standard of law and order in order to properly protect and love all who want to become citizens of this great nation. So we pray, Lord, that the leaders in our nation would truly rise up in love to protect the citizens of the United States, our voting rights, and implement laws that are safe, accurate and secure for everyone in our land. In Jesus' name, amen.

6. Stefanik, Cotton Urge Treasury Department To Probe CAIR for 'Financial Links to Hamas' - Free Beacon

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R., N.Y.) and Sen. Tom Cotton (R., Ark.) are urging the Trump administration to investigate the Council on American-Islamic Relations’s links to Hamas, according to a letter obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. In a letter sent Tuesday to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, the Republicans argue that CAIR’s "pattern of historic ties" to Hamas, combined with the rhetorical encouragement CAIR leaders have offered for Hamas, may constitute "material support for terrorism."

They cite CAIR’s designation as an unindicted co-conspirator in a 2009 federal court case against the Holy Land Foundation, a Hamas front group, and pro-Hamas rhetoric from CAIR leaders in the wake of the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks.

CAIR executive director Nihad Awad, for example, said in November 2023 that he was "happy to see" Hamas attack the Jewish state, and applauded Hamas operatives for "breaking the siege" against Israel. Cotton and Stefanik noted that Awad is a former leader of the Islamic Association of Palestine, a propaganda arm of Hamas. (Read more)

- Lord God, we ask that these corrupt organizations be exposed, because they have ties to hostile foreign governments that are working to weaken our nation. We pray for Rep. Elise Stefanik (R., N.Y.) and Sen. Tom Cotton (R., Ark.) as they urge the Trump administration to investigate the Council on American-Islamic Relations’s links to Hamas,

We pray for wisdom for all of our leaders, that they would make wise decisions when dealing with organizations who do not have America’s interests at heart. And we come against any infiltration and plan of the enemy to destroy this country, in Jesus' name, amen.

- “When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the LORD your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you.” (Deuteronomy 20:1)

Stupidocrisy: The Sunday No News News Arena

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, October 15, 2025

There was a time when Sunday morning news programs like Meet the Press and Face the Nation were the arenas where America’s most pressing issues were dissected with seriousness and balance. Hosts pressed politicians from both parties with tough questions, challenged assumptions, and sought clarity for the public good. That mission has all but disappeared. Today, those same programs, along with CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360, MSNBC’s All In, have morphed into megaphones for one party’s agenda. Instead of holding power to account, they are political messaging machines. They don’t interrogate; they amplify. They don’t challenge; they nod along. And the results are proving dangerous for a divided nation.

Watch these programs now, and the dynamic is unmistakable. A Democratic politician hurls an incendiary accusation such as calling the president a dictator, claiming he wants to “shoot people,” or accusing ICE of “Gestapo tactics,” and instead of stopping to demand evidence, the hosts often lean forward, nodding in agreement, or responding with a sympathetic “mm-hmm.” The questions are rarely pointed or probing. Instead, they’re leading and supportive, designed to give the guest more room to expand the narrative. What used to be an interview is now an echo chamber. The host’s role is no longer that of a watchdog but a hype man, adding legitimacy to extreme rhetoric simply by not challenging it. Read More

Report: Transgender Identification in ‘Free Fall’ Among Young Americans

Identifying as transgender and queer appears to be “going out of fashion among young people, especially in elite settings,” according to a new report from the Centre for Heterodox Social Science.

The report, authored by Eric Kaufmann, director of the centre and professor of politics at the University of Buckingham, found that transgender and queer identification has dropped sharply among young Americans in Generation Z since 2023. Kaufmann analyzed troves of data from recent surveys about gender and sexuality, including the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) survey, and surveys from elite institutions like Andover Phillips Academy in Boston and Brown University.

“Whether trans and queer identities will drop to 2010 levels is an open question. But the fact both have declined sharply in just two years is a startling and unanticipated post-progressive development that the education and media establishments will be reluctant to acknowledge,” Kaufmann wrote of his research in an article published to UnHerd on Tuesday.

Analyzing raw data from the most recent FIRE survey, which polled over 60,000 students in 2025, Kaufmann found that just 3.6 percent of respondents identified as a “gender” other than male or female. That figures compared to 5.2 percent in 2024 and 6.8 percent in 2022 and 2023.

“In other words, the share of trans-identified students has effectively halved in just two years,” he wrote. (Breitbart) Read more here.

New Pentagon Policy for Reporters Receives Major Backlash

The Department of War (DOW), led by Secretary Pete Hegseth, is enforcing a new policy allegedly aimed at tightening security protocols within the Pentagon. News organizations covering the military now face a tight deadline — they must sign an official document by 5 p.m. on Tuesday to acknowledge these new measures. Notably, amid a chorus of condemnation from major outlets, only a single news organization has moved forward with signing it. The rest have refused.

At its core, the policy introduces two pivotal restrictions designed to safeguard sensitive operations. First, reporters will no longer be permitted to access restricted areas of the Pentagon without a mandatory official escort. Second, any journalist who attempts to ask about unreleased information — whether classified documents, strategic details, or other internal materials — from DOW personnel risks revocation of their access privileges, effectively barring them from entry. In response, multiple prominent news organizations have decried these changes as a direct assault on their constitutional protections.

Newsmax, for example, described the requirements as “unnecessary and onerous,” while stating it hopes “the Pentagon will review the matter further.” Echoing this sentiment, The New York Times issued this statement: “Since the policy was first announced, we have expressed concerns that it constrains how journalists can report on the U.S. military, which is funded by nearly $1 trillion in taxpayer dollars annually. The public has a right to know how the government and military are operating. The Times is dedicated to pursuing the public interest through deep, fair reporting and an unwavering pursuit of the facts.”

Similarly, The Atlantic voiced its vehement disapproval, declaring that it “fundamentally” opposes what it considers “restrictions that the Trump administration is imposing on journalists.” Reuters insisted it’s “bound by its commitment to accurate, impartial and independent news. We also steadfastly believe in the press protections afforded by the U.S. Constitution, the unrestricted flow of information and journalism that serves the public interest without fear or favor. The Pentagon’s new restrictions erode these fundamental values.”

Despite the resistance, Hegseth has doubled down, stating that any reporters or outlets who fail to formally acknowledge the policy in writing by the Tuesday cutoff must surrender their access badges and vacate their designated workspaces within the Pentagon by the subsequent day. - Father God, we thank You for placing Pete Hegseth as the Secretary of the Department of War. We admire his strength, his tenacity, and his steadfastness as he leads our military to protect our people. We thank You, too, that Secretary Hegseth has now drawn a line in the sand against those who would publish or report the news from inside the Pentagon that is inaccurate. It is time for the media to defend our people and not to weaken them. We ask that each outlet would, indeed, adhere to these new rules. In Your Name, Abba, we offer this prayer, amen and amen!

Gaza Ceasefire Deal Connects Hamas and Palestinian Authority

Amid Israel’s celebration at receiving back the last living hostages, few commentators have chosen to dwell on the dark exchange that made that possible. Namely, in return for Hamas freeing the last 20 hostages, Israel also freed nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners, including 250 convicted terrorists, most of whom were serving life sentences in Israeli prisons. Many of these prisoners, for whose release Hamas negotiated, were released not into Gaza but into Judea and Samaria — to Ramallah, the administrative center of the Palestinian Authority (PA).

This last, suggestive fact shows a partnership of sorts between Hamas and the PA, who may be rivals to Palestinian leadership but who share the goal of Israel’s destruction. The detailed peace plan ratified by the U.S., Israel, and numerous Arab nations overlooks this fact, pretending that the PA may one day form a legitimate, peaceful replacement in Gaza to Hamas’s regime of terror.

“We’re told that the Palestinian Authority and Hamas are not connected, but it appears this deal does connect them,” summarized FRC President Tony Perkins. No other solution can explain the fact that, in exchange for hostages it captured on October 7, Hamas negotiated for the release of prisoners unaffiliated with its terrorist outfit.

Somehow, within its 20 points, Trump’s peace plan seems to accommodate both theory and practice — incompatible though they may be. Those who are ideologically committed to a two-state solution can find something to solace their disappointed hopes, while those committed to eliminate Hamas gather strength from the deal’s opening sentences. Yet the deal also acknowledges the reality that a two-state solution remains a distant, theoretical possibility, while no one has yet proposed a solution that will make Hamas magically disappear from Gaza.

- Lord God, the headline for this article says it all: "Gaza Ceasefire Deal Connects Hamas and Palestinian Authority." In the days ahead, we must be very careful so we will adhere to Your Word and Your will for the preservation and the protection of Your people, and of the land of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob where they dwell. Israel's enemies are cunning and cruel, but You and Your power and wisdom far outweigh them.

We call forth President Trump's advisors who know You Word and Your will for Israel, asking that our President would heed their counsel and their wisdom only. In particular, we ask that Trump listens carefully to the counsel of our own Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, who is a longtime, solid and established friend of Israel. Thank You, O Lord, for wise advisors in these perilous times! Amen and amen!

He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies."

Deadly Mt. Everest blizzard had sleet and thundersnow

At least 900 Mt. Everest trekkers had to be rescued on Oct. 5 after they were stranded during a blizzard with heavy sleet, snow, thunder and lightning at 16,400 feet in elevation.

The heavy sleet and snow collapsed tents and covered trails. Hikers had to use cooking pots to dig out. At least one person was killed at nearby Mera Peak in Nepal Saturday.

More than 3 feet of snow fell, confirmed by a hiker who estimated the snow "up to their thighs," according to NBC News.

That amount would be three times the average weekly snowfall for early October. Tom Matthews, a climate scientist at King's College London, told Scientific American the snowstorm was more than three times greater than anything measured on the mountain -- but records only exist for the last six years.

"There was a western disturbance and also a deep depression over the northwest Bay of Bengal that lifted toward Nepal from Oct. 3-5," AccuWeather's Lead International Forecaster Jason Nicholls explained.

"At the same time, Cyclonic Storm Shakhti was forming in the Arabian Sea, and the combination of these three features likely helped funnel moist air northward into northern India and Nepal to form the blizzard," Nicholls said.

October is part of the busy season after the yearly monsoon retreats and weather normally dries out. The blizzard happened as part of a larger weather system including floods and landslides in Nepal and northeast India that killed 70 people.

The news of the Everest rescue took days to transmit because communication lines were also cut by the heavy rain and snow, the BBC reported. Read More
