THE GOOD NEWS CORNER
A 1,500-Year-Old Secret Hidden in the Hills of the Golan Heights Discovered
Archaeologists in Israel have uncovered a 1,500-year-old synagogue deep within the Yehudiya Nature Reserve in the Golan Heights, adding yet another layer of proof that Jewish life and worship flourished across this biblically significant region for thousands of years. The discovery, led by researchers from the University of Haifa, the Israel Nature and Parks Authority and Kinneret Academic College, sheds light on a thriving Jewish community that once stood where modern political debate now rages.

The synagogue dates back to the 5th or 6th century CE, standing as a silent witness to the continuous presence of the Jewish people in the heart of what the Bible calls Bashan. Its preservation after 15 centuries serves as a powerful reminder that the connection between the people of Israel and their land runs deeper than modern timelines or geopolitical arguments.

As reported by Israel365 News, “Already at the start of the excavation, dozens of architectural fragments were uncovered and later, to our surprise, the southern wall of the structure was revealed with three openings facing Jerusalem,” said Dr. Mechael Osband of the University of Haifa. “This was the final confirmation that we had found the ancient synagogue itself.” (Charisma Magazine) Read More Here! >
- Lord, we are amazed by You revealing Yourself and the truth of Your holy Word.  What a miraculous treasure You have blessed the entire world with, through the discovery of an ancient 1,500 year old synagogue in Golan Heights!  We declare this timely discovery of priceless artifacts will turn the hearts of those in Israel and around the world towards You. May this archeological find serve to bring genuine evidence for those yet to believe!  We lift praise to Almighty God who shows us His compassion, long suffering and patience towards his creation. Quicken the soul of every believer that each may be found with filled oil-lamps, prepared for Your soon return. In the mighty Name of Yeshua- Amen and Amen.

Hostage Families to Nobel Committee: ‘With Momentous Urgency, Award President Trump
the Peace Prize’

Families of hostages still held in Gaza — together with relatives of those already returned — urged the Norwegian Nobel Committee on Monday to award President Donald J. Trump the Nobel Peace Prize, saying with “a profound sense of momentous urgency” that his determination “made possible what many said was impossible” and that “in this past year, no leader or organization has contributed more to peace around the world than President Trump.”

“From the moment of his inauguration, he brought us light through our darkest times,” families said.

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum sent the letter days before the committee announces this year’s laureate on Friday.

“We write to you as families who have endured unimaginable darkness — families torn apart by captivity, living each day with the agony of empty chairs at our tables and the desperate hope that our loved ones might one day return home,” the appeal states.

They credit Trump with prioritizing hostage recovery from the start of his presidency, saying his “unwavering commitment and extraordinary leadership” returned 39 loved ones and, for others, allowed “the dignity of burial and closure — a mercy we feared we might never receive.” They added that he has “secured the freedom of dozens of U.S. citizens as well as hostages of other nationalities from around the world.” (Breitbart) Read more.

- Father, we pray for the Nobel Peace Prize committee to turn from their partisan, globalist agenda and assess both facts and truth in order to make a decision on awarding their high prize to President Trump. We know that the award has lost credibility since it was given to Barak Obama without valid evidence, however, there is still a measure of honor that is attached to it. We bless these families who seek to show appreciation for the engagement of President Trump in resolving the nightmare that befell them and their loved ones.

Breaking: Biden's FBI 'Spied' on GOP Senators' Phone, Location Data - Report
One of the most infamous incidents in U.S. political history was the Watergate scandal that absolutely rocked the administration of then-President Richard Nixon.

According to Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley, he sees an event even worse than Watergate — yet nobody is talking about it. Well, nobody except for Emmy award-winning independent journalist Catherine Herridge.

And her talking points are damning:

In mid-September, Herridge took to X to point out that whistleblower documents “reveal dozens of conservative organizations had their records subpoenaed [by the FBI] as part of its investigation into President Trump.” Herridge also noted some of those groups included Turning Point USA, the conservative group whose founder, Charlie Kirk, was assassinated less than a week before her X post. “Extraordinary scope reflects aggressive approach by Biden FBI and DOJ,” Herridge added. “Critics call it evidence of overreach and weaponization.”

Herridge reported Monday that the FBI whistleblower documents also confirm that the group — under the Biden administration’s behest — “spied” on eight Republican members of the Senate. And many of those lawmakers are none too pleased about it today. (Western Journal) Read more here.

- Mighty God, this is another egregious overreach by the previous democratic administrations and we again cry out for justice upon all those committing such unrighteous and likely criminal actions, in the name of Jesus. May there be enough strong contempt for this unremitting pattern of invasive law-breaking and spying that the criminal prosecutions will bring these deeds to an end, in Jesus's name.

- "Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear." (Isaiah 59:1-2)

IDF Chief orders highest readiness level ahead of Sukkot holiday
The Israeli Air Force has also been placed on rapid alert for both defensive and offensive operations, with particular attention directed toward the Gaza Strip.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have been placed on their highest level of readiness ahead of the Sukkot holiday, following directives from Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, who convened a high-level security assessment on Monday morning.

Zamir met with members of the General Staff Forum to evaluate the current situation across all fronts.

At the conclusion of the meeting, he instructed the military to raise its alert level to the maximum and to prioritize defensive measures throughout the holiday period.

The move comes as Israel braces for potential security challenges while large public gatherings are expected nationwide.

According to the IDF, the army will conduct intensive training and briefings before the start of the holiday, focusing on improving coordination between units and reinforcing preparedness in every sector. The Israeli Air Force has also been placed on rapid alert for both defensive and offensive operations, with particular attention directed toward the Gaza Strip.

Security and approval procedures for festivals and public events are being reinforced to ensure that celebrations can take place safely. Zamir emphasized that the heightened alert is a precautionary measure and that there has been no significant change in the overall threat assessment.

In his remarks, the Chief of Staff underscored that the IDF remains fully prepared to defend Israel across all arenas. “We are at constant readiness, prepared across all arenas for defense and offense,” he said. “We continue our mission to enable all Israelis to mark the Sukkot holiday in peace and security.”

The directives reflect the military’s intention to maintain vigilance and deterrence during the holiday period, ensuring stability while allowing Israelis to observe Sukkot with confidence. (I24 News) Read more here.

- Holy One of Israel, we speak shalom peace over Israel during this entire period of Tabernacles, that Your presence would be seen and felt all over the land. May every scheme against the people be utterly destroyed by Your authority, in Jeshua's name. We pray for the hostages all to be released during this time and that there comes a joy in the morning for the people with blessing and honor for the military and government leaders.

- "Prepare the table, Set a watchman in the tower, Eat and drink. Arise, you princes, Anoint the shield! For thus has the Lord said to me: 'Go, set a watchman, Let him declare what he sees.'" (Isaiah 21:5-6)

Trump slams Democrats for ‘shutting down’ government, demands it reopen ‘tonight’

President Donald Trump on Monday evening slammed Democratic lawmakers for shutting down the government amid one of "the most successful economies," calling on them to reopen the government tonight.

"Democrats have SHUT DOWN the United States Government right in the midst of one of the most successful Economies, including a Record Stock Market, that our Country has ever had," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "This has sadly affected so many programs, services, and other elements of Society that Americans rely on — And it should not have happened.

"I am happy to work with the Democrats on their Failed Healthcare Policies, or anything else, but first they must allow our Government to re-open," he added. "In fact, they should open our Government tonight!"

Trump made the post after Senate Democrats, again, blocked Republican efforts to reopen the government, ensuring the shutdown will last at least a week. (Fox News) Read more.

- Mighty God, we pray for this continued debacle to be the end of the democratic old guard power structure, in Jesus's name. We ask that You shine a light on the greed and unrighteousness that is serpentined around the money in this government. We pray for You to trample on injustice, stopping the facilitation of it at every level, so that there is a gigantic shift towards righteousness in the handling of our nation's finances, in Jesus's name. We ask for Your presence and provision for those who are truly suffering under this devious action and call for souls to hear Your name and turn to You, as the church reaches out to fill in the gap, for Your glory.

- "'And Jehoash said to the priests, 'All the money of the dedicated gifts that are brought into the house of the Lord–each man's census money, each man's assessment money–and all the money that a man purposes in his heart to bring into the house of the Lord, let the priests take it themselves, each from his constituency; and let them repair the damages of the temple, wherever any dilapidation is found.'" (2 Kings 12:4-5)

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Grief, defiance and hope: 30,000 gather in Tel Aviv to mark two years since Oct. 7
- Times of Israel

Emotions ran high in Tel Aviv on Tuesday night as Israel marked two years since Hamas’s devastating October 7, 2023, onslaught on southern Israel. Some 30,000 people filled Yarkon Park for what became the nation’s largest memorial ceremony for the deadliest day in Israeli history.

The event, organized by Kumu (“Rise Up”) — a movement founded by survivors of that day and families of victims and hostages — stood in place of an official state ceremony.

The government has opted instead to recognize a national day of remembrance corresponding to the Hebrew anniversary of Hamas’s attack. Since it happened on the Jewish holiday of Simhat Torah, and the following day is a transition day known as Isru Chag, the annual remembrance day is marked two days after the actual Hebrew anniversary, on the 24th of the month of Tishrei, which falls this year on Thursday, October 16. (Read more)

2. Netanyahu: 'Close to the end of the war, but not there yet' - Israel National News

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was interviewed by Jewish-American podcast host and Daily Wire founder Ben Shapiro.

At the start of the interview, Netanyahu stated: "I think we're close to the end of the war, though we're not there yet. We were attacked on October 7th, exactly two years ago, less one day. And it was a horrible thing. It was the worst atrocities committed on Jews since the Holocaust. And everybody thought Israel was doomed."

Nevertheless, he said that "two years later, we've smashed the Iran Axis, smashed most of its proxies. Hamas, not finished yet, but we'll get there. Hezbollah, Syria is gone. [We've] smashed also Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile program. Still there, but it rolled really back, with President Trump's help. And the Houthis, who are threatening the entire world. And maritime shipping. So Israel emerged from this horrible day as the strongest power in the Middle East. But we still have things to do to complete the victory." (Read more)

3. Hamas Says on War Anniversary It’s Serious About Gaza Deal, But Conditions Remain - Algemeiner

Hamas said on Tuesday it wants to reach a deal to end the war in Gaza based on US President Trump’s plan but still has a set of demands, a statement signaling that indirect talks with Israel in Egypt could be difficult and lengthy.

Trump, however, expressed optimism on Tuesday about progress toward a Gaza deal and said a US team had just left to take part in the negotiations.

“I think there’s a possibility that we could have peace in the Middle East” beyond just Gaza, he told reporters in the Oval Office.

Senior Hamas official Fawzi Barhoum set out Hamas’ position on the second anniversary of the Palestinian militant group’s attack on Israel that triggered the Gaza war, and one day after the indirect negotiations began in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.

Officials on all sides urged caution over the prospects for a rapid agreement, as Israelis remembered the bloodiest single day for Jews since the Holocaust and Gazans voiced hope for an end to the suffering brought by two years of war. (Read more)

4. Hamas balks at truce talks, demands release of top terrorists in exchange for hostages - YNET News
Talks in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt on U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan to end the war in Gaza resumed Tuesday, exactly two years after the October 7 massacre.

While Israeli officials said the discussions would be limited to only a few days, it remains unclear what timeframe was set for the current round of negotiations, held under the threat that fighting could resume if the talks fail. Estimates suggest discussions may continue for several more days.

According to one of the key clauses in Trump’s proposal, Hamas must release all 48 hostages—both the living and the dead—within 72 hours, while the IDF would simultaneously withdraw to the so-called “yellow line.” Hamas officials, however, now say they will not agree to release all captives before a full Israeli withdrawal. (Read more

5. IDF kills Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon - JNS

The Israel Defense Forces on Tuesday killed Hezbollah terrorist Mahmoud Ali Issa in the Deir Aames area of Southern Lebanon’s Tyre District.

Issa served as Hezbollah’s representative in the nearby Kara area, where he was responsible for managing the Iranian proxy’s financial and military ties with local residents.

According to the IDF, Issa also worked to seize private property for operational purposes, including renting homes to store weapons and conduct surveillance.

Also on Tuesday, the Israeli military killed an unnamed Hezbollah terrorist operating an engineering vehicle in the Zibqin area of Southern Lebanon. The operative was targeted while attempting to rebuild terror infrastructure sites. (Read more)

1. Speaker Johnson Shows What Democrats Are Demanding in Order to Reopen Government: Taxpayer-Funded Illegal Alien Health Care, $1.5 Trillion in Partisan Spending- Breitbart

“Facts are stubborn things: Here are the differences between what Republicans passed out of the House and what Democrats are demanding in order to reopen the government,” Johnson wrote on social media, sharing a side-by-side chart showing the differences between what the Republicans in the House have passed and what Democrats are now demanding.

Republicans proposed a clean 7-week extension of current Biden-era spending levels with no new programs added or partisan spending demands. The chart notes that this plan “allows time for continued work on regular bipartisan appropriations, which is already underway.”

Conversely, Democrats’ “dirty” continuing resolution (CR) puts “illegal aliens and able-bodied adults back on free, American taxpayer-funded health care” and “sends half a billion dollars to left-wing media.”

Further it “repeals $50 billion investment in rural health care” and adds up to $1.5 trillion in new partisan spending. (Read more)

- Lord of All Creation, we bless You for making a way where there doesn't seem to be one. We pray for courageous members of the democrat party to stand up independently and align with the vote for the "CR" as it is, in Jesus's name. We bless Brother Speaker for his trust in You and making every effort to lead this nation into truth and proof. May his testimony be heard far and wide across this land resulting in many people in democrat districts beginning the cry-out to demand the government get back to work and do the right thing, in Jesus's name.

- "He who trusts in his riches will fall, But the righteous will flourish like foliage. He who troubles his own house will inherit the wind, And the fool will be servant to the wise of heart." (Proverbs 11:28-29)

2. EXCLUSIVE: Lawsuit Aims to Force Veterans Affairs to Disclose Information Related to Diverting Resources to Illegal Aliens Under Biden  - Daily Signal

The Veterans Affairs Department is facing a lawsuit after failing to disclose information related to the department’s alleged improper use of medical resources during the Biden administration to benefit illegal immigrants.

Following a Daily Signal report in August 2024, a policy organization in Washington asked the VA for more information related to its reputed use of employees to process cases of illegal aliens at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Health Service Corps.

“After CASA learned that the Biden administration was diverting resources from the VA to provide medical exams for illegal aliens, we filed a [Freedom of Information Act] request seeking records and communications,” James Fitzpatrick, director of CASA, told The Daily Signal. (Read more)

- Father, this is an appalling revelation of very bad behavior at the highest levels of the previous government and we pray for prosecution and justice to come forth through this lawsuit, in Jesus's name. We pray for a 7-fold reckoning of accounts to take place so that the VA receives all of its financial resources back again to extend to every single vet that was denied. We pray for whistle-blowers to continue to speak out and overwhelming evidence to flood the airwaves, in Jesus's name.

- "For I know your manifold transgressions And your mighty sins; Afflicting the just and taking bribes; Diverting the poor from justice at the gate. Therefore the prudent keep silent at that time, For it is an evil time. Seek good and not evil, That you may live; So the Lord God of hosts will be with you, As you have spoken." (Amos 5:12-14)

3. Cruz calls to impeach Biden judge who handled Kavanaugh assassination plot case - Conservative News Daily

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Monday called for the impeachment of U.S. District Judge Deborah Boardman, an appointee of former President Joe Biden, who sentenced the man who planned to assassinate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh to just eight years and one month in prison.

Boardman handed down the 97-month sentence to Nicholas Roske, who now identifies as a transgender woman named Sophie, on Friday — far below the 30-year term sought by federal prosecutors. Roske was arrested outside Kavanaugh’s home in June 2022 with a pistol, ammunition, zip ties, and burglary tools, telling police he intended to kill at least one conservative justice to prevent the Supreme Court from overturning Roe v. Wade.

Cruz accused Boardman of allowing political ideology to override sentencing guidelines. (Read more)

- Thank You Abba, that Senator Cruz is speaking out for true justice in the face of clear judicial tyranny and we pray for victory in his efforts to remove this judge from her position. We pray for this very young man who's likely being manipulated into the trans-hate agenda and we ask Father, that You would meet him in prison and show him the way to walk with You in salvation. May he never again have an opportunity to threaten the life of another person, and may he pay the full penalty of his criminal deeds, in Your name, Jesus.

- "The words of the wicked are, 'Lie in wait for blood,' But the mouth of the upright will deliver them. The wicked are overthrown and are no more, But the house of the righteous will stand." (Proverbs 12:6-7)

4. When Democrats chose to stand behind Jones, they confirmed exactly who they are and what kind of violence they’re willing to tolerate.- The Federalist

The Democrat running to be Virginia’s next attorney general fantasized about murdering Republicans in newly released text messages — and instead of being cast aside by his party, he’s been protected by it.

In a newly released 2022 exchange with Republican House Delegate Carrie Coyner, Jay Jones said it would be a “good thing” if his former legislative colleague’s children died.

“Only when people feel pain personally do they move on policy,” Jones continued.

Jones also called the Gilberts’ young children “little fascists.”

The Virginia Beach Democrats put out a statement that “reaffirms its full support of Jay Jones” despite “past mistakes.” The Democratic Committees of Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District also doubled down on their “full support of Jay Jones.”

- Holy One, we pray for righteous elections in Virginia, in Jesus's name and that the citizens of this state renounce this wrong-headed person, calling him to repentance and justice. How could anyone condone such evil against children? We pray for the soul of this man and the democrat party and ask You Abba, to show them the way they are going and we pray for them to turn and repent, in Jesus's name.

- "The house of the wicked will be overthrown, But the tent of the upright will flourish. There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death." (Proverbs 14:11-12)

5. INSANE: No Prison Time For Man Convicted of Pulling Knife on State Trooper Protecting Trump’s Motorcade During Visit to North Carolina - The Gateway Pundit

Another day, another corrupt judge.

A man convicted of felony assault with a deadly weapon after pulling a knife on a state trooper protecting Trump’s motorcade during his visit to North Carolina last year to survey Hurricane Helene damage will not serve prison time.

Last October, 55-year-old Leif Johnson was seen screaming at an elderly, wheelchair bound veteran during then-candidate Trump’s visit to western North Carolina. When a 12-year-old child tried to intervene, Johnson spat on the child.

Last Thursday, Leif Johnson was found guilty on multiple felony charges, including two counts of felony assault with a deadly weapon on a law enforcement officer. However, he won’t serve any prison time. Johnson will serve 36 months supervised probation instead. (Read more)

- Jesus, we ask You to deal with this matter in North Carolina and bring righteous justice to this man, causing him to repent and stop his wicked ways, in Jesus's name. May he be unable to cause harm or heart-ache to any other person again because You have put him under Your righteous authority. We pray for this judge to hear from You Father, and change or be replaced with an honorable, upright judge.

- "'You shall appoint judges and officers in all your gates, which the Lord your God gives you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with just judgment. You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous." (Deuteronomy 16:18-19)

6. Virginia prosecutor planning to let Letitia James off the hook on mortgage fraud allegations: MSNBC

A Virginia prosecutor has indicated that she may decline to charge New York Attorney General Letitia James in connection with alleged mortgage fraud.

Trump demanded that James resign from her office and called her a "wacky crook" in a social media post in April after the head of the Federal Housing Finance Agency released evidence that she allegedly falsely claimed a Virginia property as her "principal" residence.

The report said that Yusi will present her recommendation to interim U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan in the coming weeks. The sources said that prosecutors are bracing themselves for the likelihood that Yusi will be fired by Halligan for refusing to prosecute. (Read more)

- Father, we pray for justice to be served and criminals to be prosecuted according to the law of the land, in Jesus's name. We pray for the dance of the corrupt to be stopped and the release of righteousness to flow freely in this nation, in Jesus' name.

- " and said to the judges, 'Take heed to what you are doing, for you do not judge for man but for the Lord, who is with you in the judgment. Now therefore, let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take care and do it, for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, no partiality, nor taking of bribes.'" (2 Chronicles 19:6-7)

The Prophetic Rise in Civic Violence

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, October 7, 2025

Political violence in America is becoming a one-sided story. A recent CSIS study shows a troubling trend: for the first time in over 30 years, left-wing terrorist attacks have outnumbered those from the far right. Yet definitions skew perception. “Right-wing extremism” is lumped together with Islamist attacks, which dramatically inflate those numbers. The reality is that violence from the left is increasing in frequency and organization. Activists radicalized under the banner of social justice, environmentalism, or anti-capitalism are targeting political opponents, property, and houses of worship. It’s as if they have become fanatics of their own special religion against anything good and just, anyone with whom they disagree.

When one side is outpacing the other, calling the threat “equivalent” is misleading, and dangerously so. The rhetoric fueling this violence is often dressed up as moral crusade. Democratic Party politicians and their media pundits directly tie their opponents to fascists or enemies of democracy. For those on the fringe, such language acts like a dog whistle—justification for action. They believe they are soldiers in a righteous cause, much like religious extremists. Recent incidents show left-wing violence not just driven by politics but also by hostility toward Christians. Churches have been vandalized, pro-life organizations firebombed, and believers harassed, even assassinated. Masked as peaceful protest, it’s really targeted intimidation. And it grows in a media ecosystem where inflammatory language is rewarded and reason is punished. Read More

The first EF5 tornado since 2013 has been confirmed in North Dakota
This tornado, which knocked a train off its tracks, ends the 12-year 'drought' of EF5 tornadoes since the Moore, Oklahoma storm in 2013.

A 12-year EF5 tornado drought ended Monday morning with the National Weather Service in Grand Forks, North Dakota, announcing that a twister in Enderlin, North Dakota, on June 20 had winds greater than 210 mph. That classifies it as a monster EF5 tornado, the highest rating possible. The tornado killed three people and was more than a mile wide — leaving a massive scar on satellite images.

The unusually high forensic damage wind speed estimates came from the twister tipping fully loaded grain hopper cars from a train, and tossing one empty tanker car nearly 500 feet, the NWS said. Trees were also uprooted and tossed by the tornado with root balls. Other trees left standing had only stubs of trunks and were debarked. A local farmstead was swept clean off its foundation.

The tornado was one of 25 twisters that night, which also featured a derecho and post-derecho high winds across much of the state.

On May 20, 2013, an extremely powerful tornado destroyed a huge part of Moore, Oklahoma. Twelve years later, until today, it remained the most recent tornado to be rated EF5 strength, comprising the longest gap in between EF5 tornadoes since official United States' records began in 1950. Read More
