States Line Up to Ban Sharia Law

Indiana’s lieutenant governor says his office is fielding calls nearly every day from constituents demanding action against Sharia law, calling the issue one that transcends party lines in a way few others do. “This is an 80/20 issue, our offices have seen. It’s almost unlike any other issue,” Micah Beckwith told The Daily Signal. “I’ve gotten so much support, not just from Republicans, but also Democrats who see that the rise of Sharia is a problem.”
The Sharia-Free America Caucus, a congressional group dedicated to protecting the U.S. Constitution from the controversial Islamic legal system, is now turning its attention to state capitals across the country. The 120th Congress marks a new phase for the caucus as it seeks partnerships with state leaders to codify legislative efforts at the local level.
Beckwith declared himself “100 percent all in on this,” positioning Indiana as a potential partner in the national effort. The lieutenant governor framed the fight as one centered on protecting American women and religious minorities from a foreign legal system that enforces female genital mutilation and creates hostile conditions for non-Muslims. “Islam is not just a religion; it is a political and military ideology,” Beckwith stated during his interview with the outlet.
The Indiana official warned that many Americans remain uninformed about what Sharia law actually entails and the threat it poses to constitutional governance. “Hoosiers are people who are normally reactive to things instead of being proactive,” he said. “But we don’t have the luxury of being reactive here. CIA Releases Never-Before-Seen Intelligence On 9/11 Terror Attacks

Three years before the September 11 terrorist attacks, U.S. intelligence warned President Bill Clinton’s administration that Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaeda could attempt to attack an American city with an “explosive-laden plane.”
That portentous warning is contained in a newly declassified intelligence report released Friday by the CIA as part of the agency’s largest-ever public release of analysis related to the 9/11 attacks.
The CIA released 71 President’s Daily Briefs, files covering the period from February 1998 through September 12, 2001, giving the public an unprecedented look at what intelligence officials were telling presidents about bin Laden and al-Qaeda in the years leading up to the attacks.
The documents include a September 10, 1998, report titled “Bin Laden’s Location and Intentions,” which warned that al-Qaeda “may fly an explosive-packed airplane into a U.S. city.” The intelligence did not know the precise details of the eventual September 11 plot, including the targets, timing, or use of multiple hijacked commercial aircraft, but the newly public documents show that American intelligence agencies had repeatedly warned successive administrations that bin Laden was seeking to strike the United States.
The 1998 warning was one of a series of reports that now appear particularly significant in hindsight. A July 1998 report told President Clinton that reports from several sources indicating bin Laden intended to attack the United States were “plausible,” while a 1999 assessment examined whether the large number of potential al-Qaeda targets being reported could have represented an intentional deception campaign.

The CIA said the release contains more than 100 pages of analysis that are now publicly available for the first time. “Today, [CIA] Director John Ratcliffe declassified 71 President’s Daily Brief products in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks,” the agency said. The agency described the release as its “single largest release of declassified CIA PDB products related to 9/11.”
“Twenty-five years ago, the 9/11 attacks struck a blow to our Nation, but they did not break us,” Ratcliffe wrote in the release. “Generations of CIA officers have since dedicated their careers to securing justice for our fallen Americans and ensuring al-Qaida would never again harm our country.” Ratcliffe also said the release was intended to honor both the Americans killed in the attacks and CIA officers who later died during the war against terrorism.

Johnson says Trump's $5,000 'dividend' needs congressional approval
|

President Donald Trump’s proposal to send $5,000 to every American adult if his Republican Party maintains control of the House and Senate in the November election needs congressional approval, House Speaker Mike Johnson said Sunday, while pledging to try to make it happen.
Trump made the unusual pitch at the party’s midterm convention in Dallas last week, promising a “Trump Dividend” if voters keep the GOP in power on Capitol Hill. The president later told CBS News Texas that he did not think Congress would need to authorize the payments, though he did not specify how he could spend more than $1 trillion without lawmakers’ authorization.
But Johnson, R-La., said congressional approval is needed. “I would assume, yes, he’d need Congress to act, and that’s a creative idea,” he said.
A few hours later, Trump said he would deliver on his promise. “The 5,000’s going to happen, 100%,” he told reporters before boarding Air Force One in Ireland, where he attended a pro golf tournament at his resort.
Johnson, meanwhile, said he would work to get Trump’s proposal through Congress despite a small Republican margin.
“He’s the big ideas president. We’re going to try to implement everything we can,” he said. “I commit that Congress will work through it and find consensus on that like they have to do everything else.” (AP News) Read more here.

SSA Chief Frank Bisignano: Tax Cut Delivered 'Largest' Refunds Ever
|

In an interview Saturday, Frank Bisignano, the commissioner of the Social Security Administration and CEO of the Internal Revenue Service, credited the Working Families Tax Cut Act with delivering the largest dollar value of refunds ever recorded while increasing revenue.
Speaking with host Matthew Boyle on Breitbart News Saturday, Bisignano said the law produced results the country had not seen before, pairing record refunds with higher revenue and faster service to taxpayers.
Bisignano said the combination amounted to a formula any growing business would recognize.
“What we saw is something that was never saw [sic] before was, you know, the largest dollar value of refunds ever given to Americans while we were able to increase revenue,” Bisignano said. “That’s a real great formula if you were a company and you were doing things, you’re investing and you’re growing.”
The commissioner said the IRS also delivered refunds faster than in previous years, with the money reaching taxpayers quickly after filing.
“We service the American public in a way they were never served before,” Bisignano said. “Of those refunds were in their account 90 percent of the time less than 21 days. That wasn’t what happened previously.”
Treasury Department figures released during the filing season showed the average refund topped $3,400, an increase of 11 percent over the prior year, with more than 53 million filers claiming at least one of President Donald Trump’s signature tax cuts. Bisignano testified in March that direct-deposit refunds were arriving in bank accounts nine days after filing on average. (Breitbart) Read more here.

Jim Jordan: 'We Did What We Said We Were Going to Do in 2024'

During an interview with Fox Business Network’s “The Evening Edit,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, discussed the perceived uptick in the American economy, particularly in the manufacturing sector.
According to Jordan, the economic acceleration was evidence that Republicans had done what they pledged to do during the 2024 campaign.
“You know, chairman, what do you make of this optimistic news from, you know, Secretary Bessent?” host Elizabeth MacDonald said. “We’re looking at the data: A record acceleration. Let me give you the data: New business formation, nearly 580,000 new business applications in July. That’s the highest monthly total in the series, which dates back to 2004. It’s up 23.4 percent from last July. It’s bigger than the massive surge in the pandemic. The U.S. now has an unadjusted total count of nearly four million new business formations now coming through the first — the second term of President Trump. Plus, the U.S. is in a manufacturing boom. Manufacturing profits are soaring up two-thirds since last year to nearly $144 billion.”
Jordan replied, “Yes, not to mention the jobs growth we saw last month. I think 167,000 new jobs on top of the adjusted numbers for the months before that, which went up as well. So jobs are up, business creations are up, everything is up. But I understand for American families things still cost a little too much, and we’re dealing with that. But we’ve got to go also tell the American people we did what we said we were going to do in 2024. You elected us to secure the border, we did it. You elected us to cut your taxes, we did it at record levels.”
“You elected us to say to individuals in our welfare systems, if you’re able-bodied, guess what? You’re going to have to work now if you’re going to get American tax dollars,” he continued. “So, we did all the things we told them. Inside House Republicans' plan to end run Dem opposition and pass Trump-backed voter ID

Congressional Republicans have a plan to pass key portions of the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) America Act before the end of this year.
The election integrity bill backed by President Donald Trump and fiercely opposed by Democrats has stalled in Congress, where Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., has been reluctant to call it up for a vote, given that it's all but assured to fail.
At least several Democrats would be needed to reach the Senate's 60-vote threshold to break a filibuster. But left-wing lawmakers in the House and Senate have panned the legislation as an attempt to sow doubt in U.S. elections at best and voter suppression at worst.
Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., is now pushing Republicans to pass the bill's main mandates via the budget reconciliation process, which allows the party in power to pass sweeping fiscal policy without input from the minority due to its sidelining of the Senate filibuster. Rep. Bryan Steil, R-Wis., chairman of the Committee on House Administration, is tasked with overseeing how that part of the bill gets done.

But recognizing that the Senate might not be able to get that done with the 60-vote threshold, let's leverage the parliamentary procedure, bring that threshold down to 50, and get some really commonsense reforms done," Steil told Fox News Digital in an interview. 1. Eisenkot’s move that could enable a minority government - Israel National News
Yashar! party chairman Gadi Eisenkot is currently working on a comprehensive plan aimed at preventing members of his Knesset slate from defecting in a scenario in which a minority government is formed by relying on the Arab parties to abstain, Channel 12 News reported.
The emerging plan is based on a two-stage mechanism. In the first stage, a binding code of ethics will be drafted, under which all candidates will commit to acting in accordance with faction discipline. An MK who feels unable to uphold this commitment for reasons of conscience would be required to return his Knesset seat and immediately resign from the Knesset.
During conversations Eisenkot held with candidates on the party slate, he made his expectations clear and noted that in the past, when he did not wish to participate in certain moves by his faction, he himself chose to return his mandate and resign. (Read more)

Israel has increased its naval preparedness as Iran-backed Houthi forces expand their positions near the Red Sea and strengthen their hold around the Bab el-Mandab Strait, a development Israeli defense officials view as a potential threat to Israel and international shipping, Ynet reported.
Navy commander Vice Adm. Eyal Harel ordered heightened readiness throughout the service’s command-and-control network, while senior commanders increased the naval presence at sea to reduce the risk of an unexpected maritime attack.

3. Lapid-Netanyahu meeting said to ‘blow up’ over clash on increasing IDF’s budget - Times of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Opposition Leader Yair Lapid held a security meeting in Jerusalem on Monday, where they clashed over the premier’s request to reopen the state budget to allocate more money to Israel’s defense establishment.
The leader of the opposition is traditionally briefed once a month by the prime minister on sensitive national security issues, although Netanyahu and Lapid, who have an acrimonious relationship, have not kept to this schedule.
According to an opposition source, the meeting began with a standard security update from Netanyahu. After that, the head of the IDF Planning Directorate, Maj. Gen. 4. Netanyahu confirms New York trip for UN General Assembly, to address UN on September 24 - Jerusalem Post
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will travel to the United States on September 23 to attend the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, the Prime Minister's Office announced Monday.
The visit will take place on September 23-25, following Yom Kippur and ahead of the Sukkot holiday.
Netanyahu is expected to address the General Assembly on Thursday, September 24.
The prime minister last visited New York for the 80th UNGA in September 2025, before New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani was elected, when he delivered an address denouncing Western countries for embracing Palestinian statehood. (Read more)

Norway is weighing new legislation to ban trade with Israeli communities in the West Bank, under which violations could result in penalties of up to three years in prison — potentially making it the latest European country to join a growing boycott campaign against the Jewish state.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday marked 25 years since the September 11 attacks, remembering the victims and those who risked their lives to save others and drawing a parallel between the attacks and the October 7 massacre in Israel.
“25 years ago, thousands of innocent people went to work in the World Trade Center in New York. They never came home," Netanyahu said.
“For those who know such loss, it never leaves you. America remembers them. Israel remembers them."

2. 9/11 advocate asks Trump to bring Saudi Arabia to justice at 25th memorial - Christian Post
NEW YORK — Terry Strada, national chair of 9/11 Families United and widow of a man killed in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, called on President Donald Trump to bring the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to justice for fomenting terrorism.
She made the appeal after accusing former presidents who attended Friday's 25th anniversary 9/11 Memorial of protecting the kingdom.
All four living former U.S. presidents — Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Joe Biden — attended the event along with Vice President JD Vance.
“For 25 years, administration after administration, including leaders in front of us here today, chose to protect the Saudis instead of standing with the 9/11 families. They withheld evidence. They vetoed JASTA (Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act); they broke promises, both public and private,” said Strada after reading several names of 9/11 victims, including her late husband, Thomas “Tom” S. 3. EXCLUSIVE: US expands intel, targeting support for Saudi campaign against Iranian ally - CNN
More than 100 US military advisers are on the ground in Saudi Arabia providing intelligence and targeting support to the Kingdom in its military campaign against the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen, multiple sources familiar with the effort say. The assistance comes as fighting on the peninsula intensifies and risks spilling into open war with the Houthis, threatening a second major shipping corridor out of the Middle East.
The US military personnel are working as part of a newly-established joint forces command, which was formed in recent weeks amid signs Iran was ramping up its own efforts to aid Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia, one of the sources, a US official, said. That official put the total at roughly 200 troops.

4. Saudi Arabia shut down East-West crude oil pipeline after multiple attacks by drones from Iraq - CNBC
Saudi Arabia said Friday that it shut down the kingdom’s crucial East-West crude oil pipeline as a precautionary measure after multiple attacks by drones launched from Iraq.
The drones targeted the pipeline in the Riyadh and Medina regions Thursday morning causing fires and some damage, the Saudi government said. Several people were injured in the attacks, it said.
The Saudis have relied on the East-West pipeline to shift crude oil exports away from Persian Gulf as the U.S. and Iran battle for control over the Strait of Hormuz. The pipeline, which has a capacity of 7 million barrels per day, runs across the kingdom to export terminals on the Red Sea.
Emergency teams were deployed to secure the pipeline and assess its safety after Thursday’s attacks, the Saudi Energy Ministry said. “Any further developments will be announced in due course,” the ministry said.
Riyadh has decided to refrain from retaliating for now to give the Iraqi government time to take measures to prevent attacks from its territory, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said. (Read more)

Why God’s Appointed Feasts Matter to Christians

When the LORD promised Abraham and Sarah a son, Scripture says Isaac was born “at the appointed time” God had spoken (Genesis 21:2). Those words reveal a larger biblical pattern. God established appointed times, or “mo’ed,” each carrying meaning within His plan of redemption. The spring feasts of Passover, Unleavened Bread, the Omer and Pentecost, foreshadow Messiah’s atoning work and the giving of the Holy Spirit. There is a long pause before the fall appointed times, much like the long period between Messiah’s first coming and His promised return. Then the fall feasts begin with the Feast of Trumpets, pointing believers toward another appointed time yet to come, the return of Messiah.
The Feast of Trumpets, traditionally called Rosh Hashanah, “Head of the Year,” occurs on the first day of the seventh biblical month. Scripture calls Israel to a memorial of trumpet blowing, teruah, a shout or blast (Leviticus 23:24; Numbers 29:1-6). The shofar therefore carries meaning beyond ceremony. Messiah said His return will be accompanied by “a great sound of a trumpet,” when His angels gather His elect “from the four winds” (Matthew 24:31). Paul likewise connects the Lord’s coming with the trumpet of God (1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). A wealthy tech investor is committing $40 million to help Republicans stem the tide of the Democratic Socialists of America in state-level races, Fox News Digital has learned.
Scott Banister, a libertarian who was an early investor in PayPal, Uber and SpaceX, among others, cut the massive check to Make Liberty Win, a right-of-center political organization. The funding has already been partially deployed in nine states — Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, New Hampshire, West Virginia and Montana — with plans to expand the push to at least a dozen states.
"Self-described socialists are running for office and winning in the Democratic Party, like recently elected New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani," a press release obtained by Fox News Digital reads. "Make Liberty Win’s campaign will stem the tide of the far-left by mobilizing student and youth activists to knock on the doors of more than two million voters in key states."
Banister’s cash injection comes at an opportune time for Republicans.
Though Republicans enjoy a comfortable advantage at the national level, the Republican State Leadership Committee, the official GOP committee responsible for making sure the party wins at the state level, projected in late August that Democrats are slated to outspend Republicans in state races by a factor of three to one. Make Liberty Win’s spending could mitigate the liberals’ cash advantage.
Make Liberty Win is a Republican-aligned political organization with a distinctly libertarian bent, supporting a smaller federal government and returning power to state legislatures.
It focuses on door knocking and phone banking on behalf of candidates, rather than giving money to them directly.
Forty million is a massive amount of money for any level of politics, especially state legislative races. For context, the average U.S. House candidate spent $1.8 million on a campaign in 2024 — and federal races are almost always more expensive than their state equivalents. (Fox News) Read more here.

Lord God, we praise You for moving upon the heart of Scott Banister to release this treasure chest for the good of our nation. We thank You, too, for the millions of youth activists who are preparing to be mobilized to visit countless homes across the nation, campaigning for right-wing candidates for Congress. Netanyahu confirms New York trip for UN General Assembly, to address UN on September 24

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will travel to the United States on September 23 to attend the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, the Prime Minister's Office announced Monday.
The visit will take place on September 23-25, following Yom Kippur and ahead of the Sukkot holiday.
Netanyahu is expected to address the General Assembly on Thursday, September 24.
The statement comes after New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani admitted on July 22 that he does not have the authority to enforce the International Criminal Court arrest warrant for Netanyahu. (The Jerusalem Post) Read more here.

Father God, we thank You that P.M. Benjamin Netanyahu will travel to the U.N. to speak on behalf of Israel. We ask that all who attend will be given "eyes to see and ears to hear" what this great leader will release to those nations on behalf of his people.

From September 14 through 20, let the Moon guide you to a few celestial landmarks. About an hour after sunset, look south to find the Moon in the evening sky.
Night by night, the Moon shifts position against the background stars, passing near Antares.
This bright, reddish star marks the heart of the constellation Scorpius.
Next you'll see the Teapot, a group of stars in neighboring Sagittarius that really does resemble a teapot, complete with a handle, lid, and spout.
If you are under an especially dark sky… you may see hazy steam rising from the Teapot's spout.
