Zero Illegal Aliens Released at Border for 16 Straight Months
|
|
|
Not a single illegal alien has been released at the Southern Border in over a year, the Department of Homeland Security announced Wednesday, marking what officials are calling the most secure border in American history.
The stunning figure represents 16 consecutive months of zero releases under President Donald Trump’s administration, a complete reversal from the policies of his predecessor. Under former President Joe Biden, Border Patrol released 10,186 individuals along the southwest border in August 2024 alone. In August 2026, that number stood at zero.
“Catch and release is over, consequences are back, and illegal crossings have fallen to historic lows,” DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin said in a statement. “President Trump made a promise to the American people that he would make America safe again, and he has done just that by giving us the most secure border in American history.”

Trump to UN: 'America Is Back,' Touts Jobs and Investment
|
|
President Donald Trump, before urging world leaders to stand behind the United States' fight against Iran, said his administration has ushered in a "golden age of America," touting economic growth, investment commitments, tighter border enforcement, and falling crime as evidence of a national resurgence.
"Two and a half centuries after the cause of liberty found its home on this continent, I can report to you with pride that America is back and our country is stronger today than ever before," Trump said in his address to the United Nations General Assembly.
Marking the nation's 250th anniversary, Trump portrayed the United States as increasingly prosperous and said its economic gains were strengthening its position around the world.
"Our economy is the envy of the world. Our military is the most powerful on earth. Our technology is second to none, and we are leading in virtually everything," he said.
Trump said more than 1 million private-sector jobs had been created since he took office and that more Americans were working than ever before. He also said the poverty rate had reached a historic low and that 1.5 million Americans were lifted out of poverty last year.
The president said poverty rates among Black and Hispanic Americans had fallen to record lows and that average real household income had reached $87,000, surpassing what he described as the previous record set during his first term.

Presidential Historian Shirley to Newsmax: White House Media Access Is a Privilege
|
|
Presidential historian Craig Shirley defended Tuesday on Newsmax the administration's decision to remove CNN, MS Now, and Politico from access inside the White House.
Shirley told Newsmax's "Wake Up America" that the affected media organizations remain able to report on President Donald Trump even though their journalists have been denied access to the White House.
"CNN and Politico can still cover the president," Shirley said. "They just don't get a privileged desk or space inside the White House."
Shirley said the current confrontation is part of a much longer history of presidents clashing with the news media.
"Every president has always clashed with the press," Shirley said. "And really, it's kind of in a way, the way the First Amendment was intended."
Shirley pointed to several historical examples, including President John Adams' imprisonment of newspaper editors who opposed his policies, Abraham Lincoln's imprisonment of editors during the Civil War, and restrictions imposed by Presidents Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt.
He also cited President John F. Kennedy's decision to cancel his subscription to the New York Herald Tribune because of disagreements with its editorial policy.

We rejoice to hear that this tension between the sitting president and the press corps is not at all a new "thing" and that it's almost even expected in our Constitutional Republic. We recognize that the press is meant to be oppositional, they are also meant to be truth-tellers; however, at the present time, there is little truth and a lot of fabrication and accusation. So we pray for the media to be brought back down to earth where they are required to work with integrity and stop the animosity, in Jesus's name. We also give praise that there are many young news agencies who will fill the void and honor You, Abba, upholding truth and transparency as part of their mission statements.

Trump Announces ‘AI Force’ Modeled on Space Force, Will Appoint AI Czar
|

President Donald Trump said this weekend he plans to create an “AI Force,” modeled on the Space Force he established during his first term, along with appointing a new AI czar
President Trump announced the new AI Force in a Truth Social post, offering few details about its structure or duties. He also said he would name a new AI czar, a role previously held by venture capitalist David Sacks, who stepped down in March.
The announcement came as Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent held talks with Chinese counterparts in New York on Sunday, according to an NBC News report. Bessent said Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping would discuss setting up a mechanism for the two countries to alert each other about AI-related national security concerns. Praise God for this strong step in the right direction. Holy One, it seems that the AI monster is running wild without a handler and we thank You that President Trump is taking a stand to rein it in at least within some defined guardrails. We recognize that this time and season in the world of technology is revolutionary, but we also know that humanity and relationships to love others and love God is our reason for being, so we pray for strong protections to be in place that will be enforceable. May there never be an AI leader so capable of running roughshod as has been done in the past and Abba, please destroy it if it has the capacity to destroy us, in Your name.

Xi prepares China ‘for battle’ as expert warns of grave danger facing US ahead of DC summit
|

As President Donald Trump touts a productive relationship with China ahead of his summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping, an expert is warning that the U.S. is in a "very dangerous period" in its relations with the communist nation, claiming that Xi is preparing for war.
Trump and Xi are set to meet on Thursday in Washington, D.C., just four months after the leader’s last meeting in May, with artificial intelligence and trade expected to be at the forefront of the conversation.
Gatestone Institute senior fellow Gordon Chang claimed that, despite the leaders trumpeting a positive relationship, Xi is mulling a war against the United States and organizing troops "for battle."
"Xi Jinping keeps on talking about going to war against us… and also he's preparing China's society, civilian and military, for battle. And we think we're at peace," Chang said Sunday on "Fox News Live." "So, this is a very dangerous period for us."

Lord, as this wicked Chinese president sets his feet onto American soil, we pray that You give him a dose of humility and take control of his lying lips, and allow President Trump to see supernaturally into the plans of this enemy for allegedly preparing his troops for battle against the United States.
Father, protect America from the hand of this arrogant, wicked communist regime and expose any schemes that Jinping has planned regarding war against the United States. We pray, Almighty God, that You raise up a standard against him for providing 'targeted' data to Iran that resulted in the death of U.S. service members. 1. Mamdani calls for Netanyahu's arrest ahead of NYC visit for United Nations General Assembly - Jerusalem Post
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani once again called for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's arrest warrant, issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC), to be honored, even as he acknowledged he lacks the authority to do so himself, in a CNN interview on Monday.
Mamdani told CNN that he believes Netanyahu to be "a war criminal and an architect of a horrific genocide of the Palestinian people."
In July, Mamdani said he was investigating the possibility of arresting Netanyahu based on the ICC's warrant, concluding after a few days that he could not legally do so, but still warning that Netanyahu was "not welcome" in New York City. (Read more)

3. Israeli Defense Minister threatens to expel one million Gazans if Hamas kidnaps one Israeli - World Israel News
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned Tuesday that Israel would launch a major response in Gaza if Hamas succeeds in abducting an Israeli soldier or civilian, citing intelligence about possible kidnapping attempts.
Speaking at the state memorial ceremony for fallen soldiers of the Yom Kippur War at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem, Katz directed the warning not only at Hamas but also at its backers, naming Iran and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“In light of various intentions and intelligence, I warn the terrorist organization and its supporters, from Iran to Erdogan: If even one Israeli soldier or civilian is abducted, Gaza City, with its homes and terror towers, will be completely evacuated, and its one million residents will be moved south,” Katz said. The first day of the high-level week at the UN General Assembly was filled with criticism and harsh attacks on Israel. UN Secretary-General António Guterres warned in his opening address of "the specter of ethnic cleansing" in Judea and Samaria, Jordan's King Abdullah II accused Israel of a "war crime" and said it had become a "regional threat," while Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called Gaza "the most inhumane and shameful concentration camp of our time." Between those speeches, US President Donald Trump took the podium, focusing his remarks on Iran and the achievement he said he had secured in Gaza.
Guterres, delivering his final General Assembly address before his term ends in late December, devoted part of his speech to Israel. "Nearly three years have passed since the abhorrent Hamas terror attacks of Oct. 7," he said. "But what followed was an onslaught on Palestinians in Gaza, with a scale of killing and destruction unlike anything I have witnessed in all my years as secretary-general."
He referred to the provisional measures issued by the International Court of Justice in the genocide case against Israel and added that "all parties must comply with international law and the decisions of the court." Otzma Yehudit leader Itamar Ben Gvir declared on Tuesday that his far-right party would demand the Defense Ministry for himself and the Justice Ministry for No. 2 Tally Gotliv, at a press conference in Jerusalem unveiling his party’s platform ahead of the October 27 election.
Among policies touted by Ben Gvir were plans to “encourage” Palestinians to leave Gaza and the West Bank, immediately fire the attorney general, loosen constraints on the military and radically constrain judicial power and independence.

In the last week of the Senate’s session before the midterms, members of the conservative House Freedom Caucus are speaking out against the Senate for not taking up over 650 bills passed by the U.S. House of Representatives.
The bills, which the House would have to reintroduce, include legislation to advance President Donald Trump’s “America First” agenda, such as the SAVE America Act, and nonpolitical bipartisan bills, such as one to add a statue of Benjamin Franklin in the Capitol.
“All good bills go to die in the Senate,” Rep. Keith Self, R-Texas, told the Daily Signal. “The House has passed mountains of legislation that would improve the lives of Americans and fix serious problems in the 120th Congress, including the SAVE America Act, which we have sent over again and again.”
In his statement to the Daily Signal, Self added that despite showing up to vote and passing legislation such as the SAVE America Act numerous times, the bills then “go to die in the so-called greatest deliberative body in the world,” which he claimed is “a body that debates little, votes on little, and delivers almost nothing of substance.”

2. Breaking: Vance's Task Force Purges 760,000 Names from Obamacare Rolls After Uncovering Rampant Fraud - Western Journal
The biggest surgery in the history of Obamacare is about to amputate more than $2 billion in fraud.
The White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, led by Vice President J.D. Vance, is cutting 760,000 individual accounts that are on the Affordable Care Act’s books, administration officials said, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Vance and Dr. Mehmet Oz, the administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, estimate canceling those accounts will save taxpayers $2.2 billion.
During the Biden administration, Obamacare enrollment increased from about 10 million people to more than 22 million.
A Department of Health and Human Services report issued this year estimated that nearly half of new Obamacare enrollments during Biden’s time in office were fraudulent.
CMS estimates that more than a million people never provided the required Social Security number when they enrolled. Read more

Holy One, the Affordable Care Act is another overreaching entity that needs to be reined in and corralled under righteous authority. We thank You that it is on the front burner of VP Vance's fraud elimination program, in Jesus' name. We pray for that large amount of savings to be turned to use for insurance or medical care for the working poor amongst us, including veterans, rather than just re-filling the bottomless coffers. We so appreciate saving money, but we pray for the opportunity to engage in how such money would then be used, going forward, in Jesus' name.

3. Trump Pushes 14 Nations to Target Drug Cartels - Newsmax
The Trump administration expects a group of Latin American and Caribbean nations to designate 25 criminal groups as terrorist organizations, The New York Times reported Tuesday.
State Department officials are expected to announce on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly that 14 nations will join the United States in making the designations, according to U.S. and Latin American officials cited by the Times.
The countries are Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guyana, Honduras, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Trinidad and Tobago.
Peru and Paraguay confirmed they signed the joint statement, according to the Times.

4. 3-time Olympic gold medalist launches petition demanding WNBA define 'woman' - WND
Nancy Hogshead, who won three gold medals and one silver medal in swimming for the United States at the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics, launched the petition after several Republican members of Congress, led by Rep. Marlin Stutzman, R-Ind., sent a letter to the league demanding that it define what a woman is.
As it stands, the league claims that only women are allowed to play, but it has not defined what being a woman is, despite numerous calls from members of Congress and current and former athletes.
"I've spent decades fighting for safe and equal opportunities for women in sports, both as an athlete and as a civil rights attorney," Hogshead, who is now an American civil rights lawyer, said in a press release. 5. A SWAT Team Broke This Pastor's Nose and Stormed His Church With Machine Guns - Attendance Increased - CBN
Poisoned land, government opposition and even a police assault against the pastor have not prevented a unique German Church called Wera Forum from becoming the largest in the city of Duisburg.
Wera means belief.
The pastor, Alexander Epp told CBN News, "We always say, come to our building, touch it and listen to the story of how it was built. Then you'll believe."
Epp, an ethnic German who returned from Soviet Russia, says he never faced this kind of persecution from the KGB.
Obstacles, Denials, and Answered Prayer
A German SWAT team raided the church last year and blew the door off his home, attacking him and breaking his nose.
Epp came to Duisburg as a truck mechanic in the 1980s, when the Lord put it on his heart to begin an outreach to the city's Russian-German community.
The congregation outgrew its old building and finally found land for a new one.
However, last summer the police used a former attendee's false claim that the pastor possessed an illegal firearm to launch an early morning raid on the church and his home. Read more

Mighty God, this testimony out of Germany resonates with miracles and tragedy, both encouragement and outrage, with all resulting in a growing church community, halleluJah! This is particularly hopeful because it also affects Russian immigrants as well, advancing the Kingdom in both nations. We pray for complete healing for the pastor and his wife and that God's grace and forgiveness is on center stage in this community, in Jesus's name.

If Democrats capture the House in November, they admitted in news shows on September 6, there will be ongoing investigations and impeachment hearings. Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) said impeachment of President Donald Trump is “not a taboo with us” and called impeachment “a tool in the toolbox.” Asked whether Trump already had committed impeachable offenses, Raskin answered, “Undoubtedly.” Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO), who served as an impeachment manager during Trump’s first term, similarly said impeachment is one of several tools available to Congress and that he “won’t hesitate” to use it if necessary. Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ) says Democrats intend to investigate alleged corruption involving Trump and his children. Americans therefore could see once again committee hearings, subpoenas, testimony battles, document demands and investigations of administration officials and members of Trump’s family. Missionary Andrew Brunson Appointed to U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom

Missionary Pastor Andrew Brunson, whose 2018 release from a two-year imprisonment in Turkey was a major diplomatic milestone for the first Trump administration, has been appointed to the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF).
Joining Brunson as new appointees to USCIRF are Robert Barron, the Roman Catholic bishop of the Diocese of Winona-Rochester, and Joseph Grogan, the former director of the U.S. Domestic Policy Council, according to a Wednesday statement from the bipartisan panel of experts tasked with advising the federal government on international religious freedom.
“With these appointments, USCIRF’s full bipartisan composition further supports our efforts to advance religious freedom abroad for all. We look forward to working together,” said USCIRF Vice Chair CeCe Heil.
Brunson’s appointment comes on the heels of Trump nominating Jane “Cissie” Graham Lynch, granddaughter of the late Rev. Billy Graham, to serve as the U.S. ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom. The Senate-confirmed position, held by former Republican Kansas Governor Sam Brownback during Trump’s first term, has remained vacant since Trump took office again in January 2025.
Brunson, an American missionary from Black Mountain, North Carolina, ministered in Turkey with his wife, Norine, for 23 years until he was among the tens of thousands detained following the alleged coup attempt against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in 2016. We rejoice at this great news of Missionary Andrew Brunson being appointed to the U.S..Commission on International Freedom. Father, it is our prayer that You continue to bless him and his family along with the other representatives that have been appointed to further the cause of supporting religious freedom around the world.
Lord, we thank Missionary Brunson and his wife for serving as a missionaries in Turkey for 23 years during a time of great unrest and we bless President Trump and his administration for orchestrating his release from a two year imprisonment while there.
We pray also, Father, for Jane "Cassie" Graham Lynch as she steps into her new position of U.S. Ambassador at large for international religious fredom. Protect her, Lord, as she serves You and our nation.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen and Amen.

Trump Uses White House Helipad for First Time After Ribbon Cutting

President Donald Trump made use of the newly installed White House helipad for the first time on Monday after a ribbon-cutting ceremony on the South Lawn.
Construction workers lined the new path from the White House residence to Marine One on the South Lawn as the president cut the ribbon and made his way to the presidential helicopter for the helipad’s inaugural takeoff.
The new helipad is made of black-and-white granite with the presidential seal. The helipad is set to accommodate the VH-92A Patriot helicopter, which would destroy grass at the White House when landing and taking off, unlike the VH-3D Sea King, which has long been used as Marine One, as the Wall Street Journal noted in the first report detailing plans to install a helipad.
This is Trump’s latest project to upgrade the White House grounds since returning to office. So far, he has installed two flagpoles on the South and North lawns, standing nearly 100 feet tall; installed a patio in the Rose Garden; restored the columns at the north entrance of the residence; and made significant headway on the White House ballroom in the East Wing. NASA discovers a once-in-a-century impact blasted a 728-foot crater into the moon
|

- NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter revealed a 222-meter-wide crater that formed on the Moon between April 11 and May 22, 2024, making it the largest newly formed impact crater directly identified anywhere in the Solar System.
- The impact blasted material across the surrounding terrain, disturbed the surface more than 120 kilometers away and created a roughly 4-mile-wide nighttime “cold spot.”
- Scientists estimate an impact this large occurs on the Moon only about once every 132 years, giving researchers a rare opportunity to study crater formation almost immediately after it happened.
A routine comparison of old and new Moon maps exposed something that should not have been there.
Robert Wagner, an image-processing specialist working with NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera system, noticed an unusually large bright patch surrounded by a dark halo. When he compared newer images with older ones, the explanation became clear: something had slammed into the Moon and excavated a crater hundreds of feet across.
The feature, now named McGetchin crater, formed sometime between April 11 and May 22, 2024. At about 222 meters, or 728 feet, across and 43 meters, or 141 feet, deep, it is the largest contemporary impact crater discovered anywhere in the Solar System.
Researchers describe its structure and enormous disturbance zone in Science Advances. A second paper in the same journal examines an extensive thermal anomaly surrounding the crater.
