Introduction

INTRODUCTION

All through last week, we witnessed calamity after calamity after calamity, both throughout the State of Texas and across the southern part of our nation, as winter storm Uri marched across the land. First last Saturday, there was a pileup of 130 cars on a highway near Fort Worth, where six people lost their lives on the icy roads.

Next came the subzero, Arctic blast of winter cold, along with high winds. As residents scrambled to increase their heat to keep up with the cold, the power grid began to fail . . . sometimes in rolling blackouts, and sometimes altogether. The residents were now freezing.

Next, their pipes froze, too, causing damaging bursts of water in structures of all sizes, throughout the state. When the pipes froze, they burst, flooding homes and causing ceilings to cave in. Also across the state, residents had to wait as long as two weeks to have repairmen show up to assess and fix the damage.

When the water froze, there was no water . . . NO WATER!

What next?

Food.

Those supplies were running low, too, so residents then lined up in sub-zero temperatures, bundled in blankets often for hours at the few stores yet open to buy food that was rapidly running out.

In two weeks, flat, the State of Texas went from one of the most prosperous and safe places to live in America, to a place where one's literal survival was at risk.

It will take months, if not years, for the "powers that be," to figure out exactly how this cascading series of catastrophes unfolded in Texas, and how to prevent this disaster from ever happening again.

Meanwhile, our purpose with this Special Alert is simply to present to you a series of headlines, in four categories, that will help us define tonight's prayer targets for the people of Texas.

God bless you all, and may God bless the State of Texas.

The Suffering

1. Busted pipes, water damage, hotel bills: As power flickers on, costs loom for storm-weary Texans - Texas Tribune

Texans face a cascade of frustrations and expenses as the state tries to recover from the storm. Insurance companies are bracing for claims rivaling those after major hurricanes, and homeowners are trying to find plumbers and electricians. Go here.

2. Dwindling food, flooded halls, unflushable toilets: Texas’ university dorms descend into chaos during winter storm - Texas Tribune

The past week of power outages and water shortages have been particularly challenging for college students living in large residence halls who are unable to see their families or access supplies like extra clothing, food or a car. (Read more)

3. Many Texans have died because of the winter storm. Just how many won’t be known for weeks or months.- Texas Tribune

Dozens of deaths have been tied to this week's storm, but experts say the death toll is likely far larger. (Read more)

> > > Caution! This one article very long, very detailed, and very difficult to read. Please pray for all who mourn lost loved ones in this disaster.

Impact on Electricity Prices

1. Electric Customers in North Texas Stuck with Electric Bills as High as $17,000 Following Cold Snap - Gateway Pundit

Some Texans were shocked to find their electric bills skyrocketed as high as $17,000 following the cold snap.

Texas got hit with rare winter storms and subfreezing temperatures earlier this week that spanned to the southern part of the state and the power grids gave out after nearly half of the wind turbines froze. (Read more)

2. Smoking Gun! Joe Biden’s Dept. of Energy Blocked Texas from Increasing Power Ahead of Killer Storm - SGT Report

An Emergency Order from the Biden administration’s Department of Energy shows Texas energy grid operator ERCOT was instructed to stay within green energy standards by purchasing energy from outside the state at a higher cost, throttling power output throughout the state ahead of a catastrophic polar vortex. (Go here,)

3. 'Winners and losers': Who will end up footing bill for spiking electricity prices in Texas? - Dallas Business Journal

Texas' electricity prices have exploded in the past couple of days as failing power generation collides with soaring demand, and it’s likely that power retailers and consumers are going to be left holding the bill.
Electricity on the Texas grid has averaged about $1,137.33 per megawatt hour so far in February, up from $18.20 per megawatt hour in February 2020, according to data from the Electricity Reliability Council of Texas. That's a jump of more than 6,000 percent.

President Trump’s Executive Order
Protecting Our Nation’s Power Supply

Executive Order 13920 of May 1, 2020

Securing the United States Bulk-Power System

DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, find that foreign adversaries are increasingly creating and exploiting vulnerabilities in the United States bulk-power system, which provides the electricity that supports our national defense, vital emergency services, critical infrastructure, economy, and way of life. The bulk-power system is a target of those seeking to commit malicious acts against the United States and its people, including malicious cyber activities, because a successful attack on our bulk-power system would present significant risks to our economy, human health and safety, and would render the United States less capable of acting in defense of itself and its allies. . .

“the United States should no longer purchase transformers and other electric grid equipment manufactured in China. He signaled that it is important to end relationships that U.S. utilities have directly with Chinese businesses and multi-national companies manufacturing transformers in China, which are later plugged into the electric grid in the United States.

Chinese power equipment can be embedded with software and hardware that can be remotely accessed, enhancing China’s ability to commit cyber attacks. Because power transformers are huge and weigh between 100 and 400 tons, it is not easy to identify embedded software or hardware. There is also a potential hardware risk since counterfeit items can be easily put into large power transformers.”

(Source: Federal Register) Read all of this document by going here.

BACKGROUND:
President Trump issued this Executive Order last year, because the Department of Energy discovered that in our country, 6 of our power transformer manufacturers were American, and 30 were Chinese. You can read this report from the DOE by going here.

Biden’s Executive Order Opens the Door to China

On his very first day in office, Joe Biden signed an Executive Order that reversed that of President Trump. It states, in part:

“c) Executive Order 13920 of May 1, 2020 (Securing the United States Bulk-Power System), is hereby suspended for 90 days. The Secretary of Energy and the Director of OMB shall jointly consider whether to recommend that a replacement order be issued.”

You can read the entire Executive Order by going here.

> > > Conclusively, Biden, on his first day in office, opened up the American electrical grid to China.

His very first day in office. 3 weeks later, 5 million are without power and struggling to keep their families warm, and many livestock are unable to survive the emergent conditions caused by my power and limited water.

Voters from multiple states have filed a class-action lawsuit against Dominion Voting Systems, Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, his wife, Priscilla Chan, individual state officials, and others for $160 billion.
“It doesn’t matter for whom you voted,” say the Plaintiffs, who filed the suit in federal district court in Denver, Colorado, “The Defendants have infringed upon the rights of every registered voter in America.”

History is oftentimes in conflict as those who want to forward a political agenda are often pitted against those who seek to teach honest historical inquiry so that students, through prudent study, can arrive at their own conclusions. The aim of self-professed trade magazines like the American Educator is to expound critical race theory and social justice agendas at the expense of true historical inquiry and civics education. This is tantamount to indoctrination of unsuspecting students and, in some cases, undercutting the parents’ role in the education of their children.

Colombia on Monday announced that it is launching an effort to register hundreds of thousands of undocumented Venezuelan migrants within its borders and provide them with legal residency. Colombian President Ivan Duque said the shift will allow Venezuelans in the country illegally to become eligible for 10-year residence permits. Migrants who already have a temporary residence in Colombia will also be able to extend their permits.

Let me say that again: 60% of our emissions that need to be reduced come from you, the person on your street, the senior on fixed-income. Right now there is no bad guy left, at least in Massachusetts, to point the finger at and turn the screws on and now break their will so they stop emitting. That’s you. We have to break your will,” Ismay said, according to a clip posted by the Boston Herald.

President Biden said in a memorandum Thursday that his administration will “advance the human rights” of LGBTQ individuals around the world by building on principles established in 2011 under the Obama administration. The White House released the memorandum shortly after Biden said in a speech at the State Department that he wants his agencies to “reinvigorate our leadership on the LGBTQI issues and do it internationally.” The memorandum says, “brave lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex (LGBTQI+) activists” around the world “are fighting for equal protection under the law, freedom from violence, and recognition of their fundamental human rights.”
